SCOM Notification received

Received 2 SCOM Notifications overnight and following that a "failed to heartbeat" error. Both are below. 
I would be obliged for any assistance as to where to look to fix these errors.
1st Notification:

To resolve the issues and stop getting these two events, please do the following.
1) stop SCOM health service on the agent (system center management service).
2) rename "health service state" folder located at c:\program files\system center 2012\Agent\".
3) restart SCOM health service on the agent (system center management service).
4) A new Health service state folder will be created and the issue would be resolved.
If this doesn't work, repair the agents from console. Or else finally you might need to perform a complete uninstall and reinstall of SCOM agent on the server.

    Hi,
    I am trying to capture the event oracle.apps.wf.notification.receive.message.
    Whenever system receives an email response of a notification, I want to insert some values to a table.
    I have created subscription on this event and calling a package procedure which inserts the data into table.
    Now, If I test the event from the business events screen itself, subscription is working (i.e. inserting the data into table).
    However, when I am replying a notification, I can see that event is fired (from system administratoin->workflow->agent activity), but values are not being inserted in the table.
    My package procedure has pragma autonomous transaction and commit.
    Also, I have tried various combinations of event being Local or external.
    Any thoughts why the subscription is not coming in action?

    I tried to fire some different event and registered this function with that.
    Its working with this event.
    Does that mean that oracle.apps.wf.notification.receive.message event is not being fired?

    Hi,
    I have created a custom test subscription for the above event.I have simply created a rule function which inserts values in a custom table to show that the event is being fired.
    I tested from workflow responsibility, and yes, event is being captured and values are being inserted in the custom table. Means, from test subscription, its working.
    However, now I am trying to respond an notification from email(actual testing of the event). The notificatoin gets processed, but my function is not being called. In other words, possibly my event subscription is not being fired, seeded one is working though.
    I checked WF_NOTIFICATION_IN table. The email responses are received here and their state also shows from 0 to 2 changing. Also, the DEQ_TIME column also has values.
    So the question is how to know why my subscription is not being fired?

  • BGP Notification received, configuration change

    Hi,
    We are  monitoring a BGP peering flap for a fraction of seconds approximately every three days for a particular neighbor. We are seeing this behavior consistently for a Month.
    Jun 10 08:55:15.566 NST: bgp[1041]: %ROUTING-BGP-5-ADJCHANGE : neighbor x.x.x.x Down - BGP Notification received, configuration change (VRF: default)
    Jun 10 08:55:15.565 NST: bgp[1041]: %ROUTING-BGP-5-NBR_NSR_DISABLED_STANDBY : NSR disabled on neighbor x.x.x.x on standby due to BGP Notification received (VRF: default)
    Would like to know what does the error messge indicates  "BGP Notification received, configuration change"

    There might be a clue in the bgp trace on the device that experienced this condition:
    show bgp trace and look around the time of the notification down.
    Depending on what is on the other side, I think that hte investigation is better done on that node as that was the originator of the change hence bringing the peer down.
    This can be as simple as an address family add or remove, things like that. When capabilities of a peer change, they have to bring down the peering since they are only sent in the OPEN message.
    IF it is very periodic, I would also verify and check what might be happening during those time windows, especially on the peer. Maybe there is a config script that could induce things.
    If that peer is an XR device, the bgp trace will be very helpful in that regard.
    If itis an IOS device, then maybe you need to keep running some debug bgp event for around the time that you expect this flap, and a syslog analysis (sh log) around that time for clues.

  • Older post from apple support community delivered on gmail show in Mail App when new notification received

    Hi all,
    I am using Mail as a client to my Gmail account.
    I am registered with such account to receive notification about new posts from Apple Support Communities on which I took part.
    However when I receive a new mail notifications, I get a huge list of post, it basically seems the whole conversation.
    Even if the grouping done by Mail App shows 1 message only, I can see lot of posts attached to the mail.
    Apparently by deleting the group or the very latest mail, it deletes the whole conversation, but everytime a new mail arrives, the conversation shows again.
    By doing a search for sender and subject on notification arrival, only one mail shows from the results.
    When deleting the mail, the whole conversation gone from Mail App, did the search again with same criteria, and got 0 result.
    Why this behavior ? Am I missing something ?

    *I figured it out!*
    Simple fix, here is what you do - open Mail v4.2 > Preferences
    Select your Gmail account with this weird problem (I say select, cause in my situation I have multiple Gmail account setup but was having trouble with 1).
    Then goto > Advanced tab
    and then just type "/" (forward slash) - and then wait for a minute, it should fix it and allow to receive all the ghosts messages again - which apparently were visible under my online (web based) gmail.com's account also on my iPhone. You might see double messages, don't freak out like I did - Quit Mail v4.2 and restart that should go away as well, like in my case. Strange? Definitely

    My question is when the app is not opened and the notification is received , if the user clicks on the notification it is directly taking to the app ,
    but I want to redirect it to a specific page in my app How is it possible?

  • GP email notification received only on server restart

    Hi,
    We are unable to send immediate notification mails using "Send Notification Callable Object" in a workflow Application developed using Webdynpro for Java using GP API.
    We receive all pending emails in bulk only when the system is restarted - these were supposed to delivered immediately at the time of application execution.
    I searched on OSS and internet for any information on this issue and the processes behind GP/email notification but did not find any information.
    Any ideas?

  • Auto renewing contract with no notification receiv...

    Hi
    I recently called to cancel BT's telephone services as we're moving house and was informed that my contract has auto renewed and that I should have received a notification giving me the opportunity to cancel it.
    As we knew we'd be moving out in less than 12 months I obviously would have cancelled it had I received the notification.... but now I'm told we need to pay a cancellation charge.
    I can't believe that BT are allowed to renew contracts without a confirmation from the customer.

    The auto renewal also happened to me once, I called them on 150, politely asked why it was renewed and asked them for confirmation as to what method they used to advise me it was being automatically renewed - they couldn't so BT cancelled the 12 month contract and as a goodwill gesture allowed me to continue at a reduced rate.
    You could try this route, but don't mention cancelling, if they cancel the contract, you could cancel at the end of the call....

  • No notification received of price changes

    I have never received any notification of price changes and to my surprise, they they are on my latest bill, including a charge for Caller Display that previously didn't cost me anything.
    Now don't get me wrong, I understand the commercial aspect of rising charges but, on the flip side, I also understand the responsibility of the vendor to ENSURE that their customers are advised and not just to say "We've been making every effort to ensure that everyone got full notice of the price changes well in advance. We sent notification to you personally in October and November 2013 via Update magazine (included with your bill), or via emails (from [email protected]) or letters." 
    Update Magazine is not something I receive as I use e-billing, and I've never received an email from bt.athome with any price rise details. So in this instance BT have NOT ensured I have been kept informed. T's&C's Section 52 "We will also let you know about a price increase or a change to the terms and conditions that we believe is likely to cause you material disadvantage at least one month before it happens. We will do this in writing (which may include by letter, email, with your bill or by any other permitted method). We will let you know about other changes to prices and our terms and conditions with your next available bill or by an alternative method if this is simpler."
    This clearly didn't happen. Is this a breach of contract? Quite simple really. YES
    So Mr/Mrs/Ms BT, would you care to attend to this glaringly obvious breach of contract and deal with me directly or would you rather we did this elsewhere, perhaps a courtroom??

    I had a lengthy, heated and quite extensive exchange with a Billing Manager today who finally agreed that I had not been notified if the email they apparently sent to my BT email account remains unread.
    In light of this, BT have now reverted my most recent bill back to pre-increase prices and I have cancelled the caller display option that was previously free.
    Thank you all for your comments. I managed to resolve this by good old fashioned logic and knowledge of criminal and contract law and finally, perseverance. Feel free to contact me when you need to complain next !!

  • No notification received in twitter

    I don't receive notification in twitter although the battery saver is off,tweet is on &,pin is made on start screen.

    In the Twitter application settings, enable what should trigger a notification. To receive notifications when people tweet, this must be set individually for each person you follow.

  • Exclude Development Servers Group from SCOM notifications

    Hi,
    In my environment SCOM monitors and alerts on both production, acceptance and some development servers as well as some network devices, custom application management packs and so forth....
    Is there a way to only send notifications for all new critical alerts other than the development servers?
    I have found a way to create a dynamic development server group in SCOM using AD OU but am not able to exclude it from our critical notification subscription.
    We still want to see the alerts in the console and monitor health of the development servers - just don't want to get email alerts about them.
    Any ideas?

    If you want don't want to get email alerts about dev servers , you can create Custom group to all servers and Exclude Dev Group.
    In Scom email notification assign it by Select Condition raised by any instance of a specific group and of a specific severity

  • Iphone 5 giving short vibrator pulses while talking, no emails, texts, or notifications received.

    While I'm having a conversation with someone, my I 5 will give a short vibrator pulse every few seconds, and I won't have received any emails, texts, other calls, or any notifications of any kind. There doesn't seem to be any apparent reason for it, I've seen questions from others about the phone vibrating when they receive a text or an email while they are talking, but none about getting random vibrator pulses for no apparent reason. It doesn't seem to be specific to any type of number either (toll free, long distance etc.). Does anyone know why thid happens?

    Notifications are always sent to the worklist. Optionally, they can be sent to recipients via email if
    - user / role has a valid email address
    - user / role has a preference to receive email
    - a mailer is configured for the item type, or a generic mailer is running to process all outbound notifications.
    In this case, the process is starting but is hitting the standard BLOCK in the process which needs to be unblocked before the process can continue (although I only know this much from the thread on the WorkflowFAQ forum here).

  • Pre email downloaded and notifications received even though disabled

    I have access to a computer most days and don't need the auto download to my phone, I simply want to check my email when I am away from a computer.  I have turned off the notifications under the email preferences and set the Get Mail option to Manual.  Despite this, my Pre is still automatically checking my email and notifying me of new emails.  While at a sprint store the tech looked at me phone and said everything was set right.  Is anyone else experiencing this problem or know how to fix it?

    I have the same problem, running Web OS 1.1.0.  Since I picked up my phone a couple weeks ago I'd awake to find my battery almost compeltely discharged.  I was about to return my phone for a Blackberry.
    I've verified this is my problem:
      1) Set to manual, send an email to my gmail, I get notified of the new mail even though the mail app isn't open and I haven't synchronized it.
      2) With the account removed I lose less than 10% batter, previously I'd lose 70% of my battery.
    I just really want Palm to acknowedge that they are working on the issue since it is a deal breaker for me.  I don't want to give up my Pre, but I NEED more than a day's battery life.  Especially since I'm an extremely light voice, text, and data user.

  • OTL Error Process default error notification receiver

    Hello,
    Problem is like follows:
    The OTL Worfklow for Employees (HXCEMP) goes in error: ORA-20001: PA_TR_NO_ROUTE_TO_PERSON: and this raises the OTL Error Process (OTL_ERROR_PROCESS) as child workflow whis sends notification to every user who has the 'Workflow Administrator Web Applications' responsibility.
    This responsibility is defined as Workflow Administrator in system (WF_ADMIN_ROLE).
    This is not OK that all the timecards notifications goes to users which are not related to these WFs at all.
    The workflow shows as Error Recipient Role "FND_RESP|FND|FNDWF_ADMIN_WEB|STANDARD"
    and FNDWF_ADMIN_WEB is the key of the responsibility mentioned before.
    I looked at the workflow definition, and the Error Recipient Role attribute is empty. I tried to put SYSADMIN or any other user as default, but the WF still took the Workflow Administrator as recipient.
    When putting everybody (*) Workflow Administrator, then the notifications are not sent at all, but we cannot put everyone as workflow administrator.
    The same when putting SYSADMIN user as Worfklow Administrator, as then not all the users who need, cannot see the WFs.
    Does any of You have idea how to change the recipient of these notifications? I could not find out why the WF is taking WFAdmin as default recipient.

    Hi,
    From what I can see in the image, the workflow is reporting a "No data found" error, but I can't see where.
    If you look at hte actual notification (from the list of activities for the process, click on the envelope icon next to the open notification), this should tell you where the error is occuring which will help track down the root cause of the problem.
    One other thing in passing - from the screenshot, it seems that your language hasn't been enabled for the Workflow install. You should be seeing (for example) "Expedite" instead of "WFMON_EXPEDITE" on the button prompts.
