Screen off after inserting flashdisk

Dear All,
I gor Lenovo S10 for about 4 months, and sudently my screen goes off/"blank" even the BIOS starting screen
When I turn on it the power indication (blue) not light/appear but the fron little LED is blue, also the harddisk indicator is red.
When I turn on the onekey button, the onekey button light not appear , but power indication and harddisk indication LED in fron of ideapad light.
When i remove the Harddisk and turn on it , the same symptons happend (Blank) even the BIOS starting screen not appear.
Can anyone help/solve my problem ?

I fix it, after try un-related thing.
I remove battery for a while and plug in again...and holla...its work.
When i check my battery, it said still 88% ..???
What indication on my S10 ?

Is the iPhone "locked" to a particular mobile carrier, and are you inserting the Sim that they supplied?

After again experiencing problems I took the iMac back to the reseller where I bought it. They were able to replicate the defect and I received a new logic board. The invoiced cost (covered by warranty, luckily!) was $1,067 for the logic board and $85 for labor. The hard drive was erased but OSX Tiger was pre-installed when I picked up the computer. (BTW, Backup 3 is a very nice backup utility!) Now my iMac seems to be working perfectly, and the energy saver/sleep function works normally again.

[SOLVED] Cannot prevent the screen off

Hello.
I m using xfce 4 and i want to disable the screen off after a while. So i searched for a while and i disabled it from the xfce power manager -> On AC -> Monitor. Νonetheless my monitor is going to sleep after some minutes. Is there any other way to disable this function ?

hi you can disable the "Energy Star" feature of your screen with:
xset -dpms
usually the screensaver is controlled by desktop environment (xfce for you) but can force adding "s" option:
xset s off -dpms

When i plug in my ipod touch to charge it starts with the battery with the little bolt under it then it goes to the apple logo screen and after a while it flashes white and just shuts off and restarts the process. Whats wrong and how do i fix it?

See if you missed anything here:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Macbook Pro shuts off after few seconds of gray screen

Help - I came home to discover my power cord had died and my laptop turned off due to no power. I used a friend's power cord to turn it on later that night and send some emails. I bought a new power cord the next day, plugged in, and turned the laptop on. It stayed on the gray screen with a spinning wheel beneath the apple logo for a while. I restarted it and it turned off after a few seconds of the gray screen. An empty bar flashes twice horizontally at the bottom before the spinning bar begins.
I tried booting in safe mode, but it would just stay on the gray screen. I tried doing shift+command+v and received a message about keys out of order and disk error full, can't repair. I was able to boot from the install disc, and when I click "Repair Disc" I get the same erros. Not sure what to do now?

Well this is the big gamble. You really don't know for sure.
TimeMachine has gotten corrupted from a failing original drive and then unable to restore properly to a new drive.
It's not like you can access the files on a TM drive directly and cherry pick what you need and leave the rest. It's all or nothing.
If you go erasing your only other copy on the boot drive, which the files still could be accessed from another boot drive, and if you find out the TimeMachine drive can't restore, then your up the creek without a paddle right?
So if your able, create a data recovery drive and try to rescue your second copy of the files on the boot drive or restore the TM drive to the second boot drive , so this way your files can be accessed directly if you need it and you have two copies again.
Once you can direclty access your files then you can go about erasing and installing on the internal boot drive.

Screen turns off after a few minutes and needs to be closed then opened

hi, as the title suggests my powerbook screen turns off after a few minutes before my screensaver is set to come on and when i come back and press a key or move the pad it wont start up so i need to close the powerbook then open it up again for it to activate. its not a huge problem but my programs which connect to the internet seem to lose their connection when i open it up again. is this normal? is there a setting i can change?

Is there a way to "disable" Standby, Suspend and Off just when watching movies (in fullscreen or not)? I want them to do what they usually do in all other cases.
Setting them to 0 in xorg.conf does the thing, but I need that functionality only when I'm wathing movies. Making a script that alters adjustments in xorg.conf isn't the best solution - you'd have to restart X every time you want to watch a movie .

I've seen that happen sometimes. For me, pressing the lock button to lock it, and then pressing the home button to get to the lock screen reverts it back. If that doesn't work, just move your brightness slider lower and then higher again.

Please dont understand me wrong but I think you are on the wrong way.
Device drivers (graphic card, LAN, etc.) have to be installed within running system (i.e: Windows OS, etc)
Im sure; driver isnt the problem if nothing is visible on the screen.
First of all I would recommend you to connect the notebook to an external screen/monitor just to check if something would be visible on the 2nd display.
But just one question: did you try to boot the notebook using a bootable disk (windows installation disk, Toshiba recovery disk or similar???).
Maybe the Windows system is muddled up and therefore you are not able to boot up the system? In my opinion you should test this option.

I Don't know that recovery mode would work, but did you try it?
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
IF that fails, have you considered erasing the device using Find my iPhone in iCloud.com? I'm not sure what good that would do either of the iPad continues to freeze, but if nothing else is working .....

Screen turns off after a few minutes of inactivity

Not sure if this is a DE/X related problem or kernel.
Running KDE 4.2.4 and my monitor would switch off after a while of inactivity. I have disabled DPMS for the monitor and I've ensure that screensavers or power management in KDE is disabled. Where else can I look? I don't like this behavior. (irritating when watching a movie and the screen just powers down)

Iphone 3g shuts off after the apple loading screen then cuts back on by its self but when i connect it to a charger it works fine also my on/off button is unresponsive (i havent dropped it or wet it so im confused why its doing this)

Welcome to the discussions,
normally you could try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back. But since the sleep button is unresponsive, try to restore "as new iPhone", if necessary without using the backup afterwards, in case the backup contains corrupt data.
