Second order cancelled, 3 failed orders

Hello,
I placed an order for 2X Canon EOS 5D Mark III 24-105mm Lens Kits and the order was cancelled within minutes. The reason stated in the email was that "[they] were unable to verify information," which after reading some posts here, it seems "normal." This was my 3rd attempt to place the order. The 1st attempt, I canceled due to having items in my shopping cart I couldn't remove. The 2nd was canceled by Best Buy because of the same reason, but that was my fault. I used my wife's debit card and put my name on the billing and shipping address by mistake, all other information was the same (phone number, address, email). I asked my wife to double check that the information was the same as her bank records, and it was. I've placed numerous electronic orders with Sears, Walmart, and Target, and I've never had a problem "verifying my information." I just want the cameras before the 21st of this month(gift for wife and sister) for a trip out of the country. Thank you and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello alexnikki1614-
I can certainly understand your disappointment that these orders did not go through.  The camera that you are looking to purchase looks incredible and should be great for taking pictures anywhere!
Generally when we say that “we are unable to verify your information” it means that some part of your order is not matching up correctly.  This can be something as simple as a misspelling or it can mean that your billing information on your BestBuy.com account is not matching up with the billing information showing on the card you are using to make your purchase.
I would recommend that you double check all this information to make sure that everything is correct and if so, place a new order through BestBuy.com.  However, I cannot guarantee that if we do fulfill your order, it would be shipped to you in time for the trip.  My recommendation would be to visit your local Best Buy store to see if they can help obtain it for you in time or to place an order for in-store pickup.
You can also view our complete Conditions of Use for BestBuy.com here.
I hope that this helps!

In order to fit, you need two things:
data (F(x) measured) as a function of an independent variable (e.g. x). Do you have data?
A model function that can calculate F(x) (simulate the data!) based on x and a set of fitting parameters.
For some problems, there is a direct linear algebra solution available (e.g. linear or polynomial fit). For more complicated problems, an iterative procedure (e.g. Levenberg Marquardt) needs to be used, where, given an initial guess for the fitting parameters, the fitting algorithm will adjust them in way to best match the data to the model. In your case.
In your case, the differential equation needs to be solved for each iteration. Do you know the initial conditions for the differential equation or is this also to be fit??

  • Second sync of iPod fails, Right Click Sync or Apply

When I first plug my iPod 5G into my Mac Pro, it automatically updates, like it should. When I right click on the iPod in iTunes and click "Sync," however, iTunes says updating iPod, but the iPod itself does nothing. Eventially I get a message in the top window in iTunes: "iPod update failed. Disconnect and reconnect, then try again."
The same issue happens if I also make any changes to the iPod preferences in iTunes and click Apply.
This issue started last week under iTunes 6, and continues under iTunes 7.
I tried a full reset of the iPod, trash of all iPod and iTunes prefs, Premission Fix, and the issue continues.
All latest firmware and system updates.
    Any thoughts??
    Thanks, Scott K.

    Some additional information...
With "Enable disk use" OFF, I would plug in my iPod, it would sync fine, then unmout iteslf from the Desktop, and stay in iTunes as expected.
Then when I right click the iPod icon in iTunes, and select "Update" (iTunes 6) or "Sync" (iTunes 7), I first get a dialog box saying: "Waiting for iPod...", then after 30 seconds it times out and I get a message at the top of the iTunes window saying: "iPod update failed. disconnect and reconnect, then try again."
If I unplug, and reconnect the iPod, it will sync fine.
This started happening a week before I updated to iTunes 7, so it is not an iTunes 7 issue. I re-installed iTunes 6, trashed prefs, ran disk utility, premissions fix. No go...
    Thanks, Scott K.

  • My SECOND superdrive has now failed!

I had the old disc getting swallowed problem and after trying everything to rectify I took the iMac back and had the part replaced.
As soon as I got the new drive back it was just rejecting every disc I fed it, and now it is just swallowing them like the first drive...
This doesnt sound like a hardware problem does it...?
With the amount of people having the same problem I am amazed that it has not been addressed.
I am about to pack my puter back up again and take it back to have my third superdrive installed.
MY FIRST MAC PURCHASE HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE DUE TO THIS ISSUE!!!

Batteries go through charge and discharge cycles. You probably know that if you leave a system plugged in all the time, it's capacity will diminish. That's why Apple recommends, at a minimum, at least one complete discharge a month, to keep the batteries in shape. You may have seen this Apple note on batteries: http://www.apple.com/batteries/notebooks.html
You didn't talk to how long you've had the two batteries, or how many cycles each has gone through. If it's over a period of 5-6 years, use of two batteries doesn't sound out of the ordinary.
Some people use these batteries as replacements: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/applelaptop/batteries/PowerBook_G4_15AL

  • Verizon sent out an order I called to cancel, I returned the phones as they told me to, yet after months of calls, I am in the pre-collections stage

So this journey started back in October. I was with sprint, and wanted out of their service, my contract was up, so I went with Verizon as they are the best in my area for service. My original order was for 2 iPhone 6's and an iPhone 5s. Upon finding out that I would only receive a $200 credit for my old iPhones if I bought only iPhone 6's, I called to cancel that order. Due to the fact the iPhone 6's were backordered they could not cancel my order, but they stated they would make notation on my account so that the order wouldn't ship. So, I then placed a new order for three iPhone 6's to qualify for the promotion. The beginning of November I received three boxes, and too my surprise, it was the first (original) order containing two iPhone 6's and an iPhone 5s. I called Verizon, and they said just send them back, don't open them. I was told there were return labels in the boxes, and there were not. So I then called the local Verizon store to see if I could return them there, they said, no it was an online order, so you have to send them back in. I then went to the website to print return labels, but both links where this was supposedly possible, the links did not work, dead links. At this point I called Verizon back who made a call on my behalf to the Verizon Store to return the phones there. I drove to the store, and when I got there, they suggested I just return the iPhone 5, as they had a 6 in stock, activate these phones, and cancel the second order, so I did. I then called and cancelled the second order, with the same issue, phones were backordered, so notation would be made to the account. Low and behold, 2 weeks later, 3 new iPhone 6's showed up at my door. So I went through the process again, calling customer service, canceling the service and having Verizon send me return labels for the phones. Five days later the return labels showed up, and I immediately returned the phones. I was told as soon as the phones were scanned by Fedex that a $635.97 refund would be issued to my card ( thats right two charges totaling almost $1300). Well that was not the case, It took a few weeks, but the refund was finally issued. Here's were the bigger problems begin, I received my first bill for those lines of service. I called Verizon as I thought this was odd, as the phones had never been out of the box or activated. So, phone call after phone call, Customer Service Rep after Customer Service Rep, I was told that the lines are now cancelled and you will be credited. Well a month goes by, and we are at the end of November, and I get a bill for over $500 dollars. I then call customer service again, tell them my story, stay on the line with patience waiting for the answer, and I am told again things are resolved. November 30th roles around, and I get another bill stating that my lines are disconnected due to non-payment. I call, and spend 52 minutes on the phone with a Customer Service Rep who tells me that everything is all set, he gives me the totals that are to be credited to my account, and I assume everything is well, as I receive no more letters or bills. Well flash forward to January 20, 2015, and I receive a call from an odd number, which turns out is a collection agency for Verizon, as my account is in pre-collections. Can you imagine my frustration, to be honest I am quite upset, so I again call customer service and get pushed to an account specialist. I relay my story, for and I am not joking, the 12th time, at which point I am informed that he cannot help me as the account is closed, and I will have to wait until 7am tomorrow morning to call back and speak with another account specialist. I am so frustrated with this entire situation, keep in mind I still have three active lines with Verizon that have been paid early every month since October. My real question is how many more times am I going to have to call to get this resolved? I have tried more than a dozen times to get this issue fixed, and here I am three months later still fighting this, it is just plain ridiculous and terrible business. How can you charge a customer for phones that he doesn't even have, thats right, I was issued a $635.97 refund on 11/13/2014, so how can I be charged for phones that were returned, and never taken out of the box. Also, how are they magically activated when they are still sealed in their original boxes. Needless to say I will continue to fight this issue, but rest assured, if this issue is not resolved tomorrow morning, I will be seeking legal counsel to fight these charges, as I do not want Verizon's poor customer service to harm my credit score that I have worked so hard to build to what it is now.
Where is the help Verizon, because as of now, it is non existent.

Thanks for the additional information AudiophileBen! Time is of the essence when it comes to special promotions. When did you process this purchase? If the promotion was not available when you purchased, then you are not eligible for it. I recommend visiting the store with your receipts showing your $100 discount if you purchased after the promotion started.

  • Dreaded Order Cancelled Limbo

    To Whom It May Concern,
I have made two attempts to order a computer from Best Buy.  The first order was on Jan 4th, 2015.  The order number was:  {removed per forum guidelines}  I tried to use a gift card for this order.  Shortly after I received a order confirmation email, I received an email stating the order had been canceled stating there was a payment problem.  I called customer support on Jan 5th.  She gave me a case number of:  {removed per forum guidelines} and told me I would hear from someone within 24 - 48 hours.  I never received a call back.  I then called customer support on Jan 9th.  The rep I spoke to was able to initiate a refund of the money taken from my gift card.  I asked if she could re-place the order using the gift card.  She was able to get the order to go through.  That order number was:  {removed per forum guidelines}    Again, shortly after I received a confirmation email, I received another email stating that order had been cancelled.  I immediately called back and asked to have the refund to my gift card processed.  After a very lengthy wait, I was told they could not get the refund to process but would continue to try.  I placed a call to customer support on Jan 16th again asking them to process the refund to my gift card.  I was told they would try to process the refund.  After a 55 minute wait, the call was disconnected.
At this point, Best Buy has three options:
    1.  Refund my money to the gift card (which apparently is impossible)
    2.  Actually send the item I am trying to buy
    3.  Issue a check to me for the refund
This needs to be resolved immediately!  This has been the most frustrating buying experience in my life!  If Best Buy is unable or unwilling to correctly process gift cards, I suggest you cease offering them as a buying option.

    Hello ND69-
I can completely understand your frustration at not seeing the funds returned to your gift card after the second order was cancelled.  I absolutely apologize for the aggravation that this has caused you and I would be happy to look further into this for you.
It appears that we’ve tried to refund back the funds to the gift card used on the cancelled order on 1/9, but for some reason, it’s not processing correctly.  I’m going to reach out to our support teams to see if I can find out what is happening and work towards a resolution for you.  It may take a few days to get some solid information, but once I have more details, I will send you a private message with what I have.
You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope in the upper right hand corner.
Thanks for your patience while I look into this for you.

  • **ISSUE** Your order has been canceled - unable to verify your information

Hello.  Every time I place an order on bestbuy.com, my order is immediately canceled.  In fact, I get the cancellation email before I get the order confirmation email.
The subject of the cancellation email is: "Your order has been canceled"
The body of the email starts out like this: "We're sorry, but an item on your order placed on October 31, 2014 has been canceled because we were unable to verify your information..."
This issue started last winter, and I haven't been able to place an order online since.
    Please help!

    Good afternoon ChickenSansHead,
Welcome to the Best Buy forum, and thank you for posting!
Without knowing exactly why your BestBuy.com order was cancelled, you may not know what corrections to make before you try to place a second order.  The most common reason an order will be cancelled is that the billing information entered does not match what is on file.  For example, if your credit card has a middle initial on it and you do not include it when you enter your credit card on BestBuy.com, then that may cause the order to be cancelled.
With that being said, I would like to go over your BestBuy.com order with you to see if we can determine exactly why it was cancelled so that next time you place an order you receive the confirmation email and not a cancellation.  To accomplish that, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the yellow envelope at the top of the page.

  • Order get cancelled, my mover's coupon and points got messed up.

i placed a order online for an open-box moto360. The price was good, so i redeemed my points into a certificate and made a order.
Everything went well till my order got cancelled.
Bestbuy returned my certificate as a promotion code and nothing else!
My mover coupon cannot be used again! Also i have to use my promotion code in one month or it will get expired.
I saved my points for my fav stuffs and now it will expired in one month.
now i just want my point back and get my mover's coupon back.

Greetings syt1100, and welcome to the Best Buy forum,
I can imagine your surprise to find that after your order was cancelled the Mover's Coupon was not reissued and a digital coupon was issued rather than points.  The Mover's Coupon was not reissued after your order was cancelled because it cannot be reissued.  It is a one-time use coupon.
While it is not all that common, there are times where a My Best Buy™ certificate will be reissued in the form of a digital coupon following a return/cancellation rather than just reissuing the points.  That is done because it can generally take 3 to 6 business days for a certificates point value to repost to a member's account and the digital coupon allows for a quicker turnaround since you were trying to place an order.  If you have decided to wait and not place a second order, then the expiration date could potentially pose a problem.
I do apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and would like to go over your My Best Buy™ account with you to see if there are any other questions I can help answer.  To accomplish that, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope at the top of the page.
    Thank you for connecting with us and for being a My Best Buy™ member. :smileyhappy;

  • Help! 1 month since we ordered and no broadband!!

I dont know if you can help,  i am completely frustrated with the service im getting from BT and have just sent a letter of complaint (or tried to) to the complaints dept but it keeps going round in circles and not sending the complaint so im going to paste what i typed here in the hope someone can help please!
We attempted to place our BT broadband order on 11th March 2013 after having three attempts through Sky cancelled.
The reason for the Sky cancellations was that the exchange would only allow a capped broadband through Sky (a restriction placed upon Sky by BT).
This first order on 11th March 2013 was place online and due to a "glitch" was never fully completed and a second order was successfully created on the 12 March 2013.
We received email confirmation (and have screen shots of this) with a broadband activation date of 19th March 2013.
This activation date passed without broadband being activated.
When we contacted BT we were informed we would have to cancel our existing order and place a new one.
The cancellation was carried out on the 20th March 2012 by a customer services representative Debbie Hunter.
At this time Debbie also issued us with a 30 day/66 hour BT openzone account and voucher (the activation date of the voucher was set at 3rd March 2013 -
effectively only giving us 13 days of active time).
Debbie also informed us that she would "fasttrack" our broadband order.
This second order was placed on the system on 21st March 2013 with a broadband activation date of 25th March 2013
(our home hub delivery was also also delayed to coincide with the new activation date).
This second activation date also passed without our broadband being activated, however Royal Mail did deliver our home hub on the very day they were expected to.
On 26th March 2013 we have repeatably contacted BT on the subject of our continued lack of broadband and have been informed once again that the only course
of action available is to cancel and resubmit our broadband order as had been done previously.
Considering that we have the same phone line and phone number as the previous occupants of the property (and have been told that they were BT customers)
we are at a loss as to why our broadband connection is so difficult to achieve and have yet to be given a definitive answer from BT as to the problem.
The reason for our concern at the continued delay of our broadband connection is that I am a software developer and am required to work from home as often
as i am in the office.
My work requires access to servers in various locations round the world through secure vpn.
This is not practical or in many cases possible through the use of BT Openzone or mobile data, therefore the continued lack of broadband is beginning to
affect my productivity at work. As of this point in time we have yet to be told why our broadband is continually failing to be connected,
we have been told repeatedly the wrong things by your representatives and we are now looking at the prospect of another fortnight
(as the 8th April 2013 has been quoted as our earliest estimated connection date) without broadband.
This is unacceptable from a company that has the level of resources available that BT do and as it seems, from your restrictions place upon Sky,
a holding monopoly on broadband access in our local area.
What we require at this point is a definite, assured and quick activation date for our broadband as well as a form of compensation for the repeated ineptitude
     of your customer services representatives.
I look forward to your speedy response with your assurances that this matter will be dealt with in a manner that is satisfactory to myself.
    Regards

  • Best Buy Order Glitch, Customer Service Terrible!

    Placed two orders this morning. The first one went through just fine. Placed second order for $45. When I submitted it I received message "Oops! There was a glitch, please call 1-888-Best-Buy to complete your order". It did not provide an order number, however, it DID remove the $45 from my gift card. I was placed on hold a half dozen times, transferred several and actually "oops-hung up on because we don't know how to fix it" twice. The last representative actually acted like she was going to remedy the situation but ultimately lied. She told me that she "confirmed" the glitch and that it would "fix itself" in TWO hours". We'll it has now been FIVE hours and no order and the funds are still missing from the gift card. Tried calling again but was placed on hold AGAIN and was disconnected by the representative. This is ridiculous! It is their system yet they can't seem to figure it out, yet it's my problem and I am expected just to wait?? Not to mention how long the item I am trying to be will be on sale?? I always have some problem when ordering from Best Buy which is why I will not sit quietly this time. I will reach out to the Better Business Bureau in the morning if their "glitch" does not resolve itself today. - j. {removed per forum guidelines}

Certainly your call was not handled in the most efficient manner and I apologize for your having to cope with such an unsatisfying situation.
I will be more than happy to look into your concerns and do my best to resolve them as promptly as possible, but will need some additional information to begin. Hi
To understand splitting behavior, see SAP Note 546668 - FAQ: Delivery split when creating deliveries. And yes, incoterms happens.
I think that with the help of question 6 you can try to force the merging of SO. Then, see SAP Note 166397 - Delivery split according to customer field ZUKRL, and handling the field ZUKRL in a VOFM in the copy rule I think that you can try to do it.
Finally See  Note 4505 - Duprec when adding delivery (VL04, VL01, VL10*) to avoid problems while you are merging.

Then with reference to ZOR sales order, user created another sales order with sales document type as ZORS.

    Hi,
I've tried to simulate the scenario you were in in standard SAP system, but failed to have it reproduced, and therefore, I suppose this issue could be something relevant to the specific environment you have
    my exercise:
create a sales order with type OR, and then create another one with OR with reference to the first one, and then have the first one deleted, check in document flow from the second order and make sure the first one is marked 'archived', and then set rejection code for the line item in the second order - I was able to save it => at last, I've got two orders, the first one archived, while the second one completed
