Selecting alternative Bank account in Purchase invoice is not working

Hello experts
When adding a particular purchase invoice, I select an alternative bank account for this vendor on Logistics tab. But when generating payment file for this invoice through Payment Engine, the bank account that can be seen on the file is the standard one for this vendor, so selecting an alternative Bank account in the invoice doesn't seem to have any effect on payment file. Do I have to consider something else?

Thanks for the update. But by checking it, I haven't been able to find anything regarding vendor bank account selection on invoice, or about paying an invoice to vendor secondary bank account.
Also I have done some testing, and the only way I have found so far to get a vendor invoice paid in the secondary bank account is to set this secondary bank account as the default bank account just before use Payment Wizard and Payment Engine. But this is a poor workaround and I guess there should be a way to make work properly the "Pay to Bank" functionality in invoice.

  • Selecting the Bank account from Vendor master when APP is run

    Good Morning.
    I have a scenario where a Vendor with Multiple bank accounts in the vendor master
    Bank account 1 - HSBC UK
    Bank account 2 - RBS UK
    Bank account 3 - Bank of America US
    I need to make a payment for a purchase made from US and he chooses the payment to be made directly to the BOA US account. when running the payment run, can i select the bank account to which the outgoing payment is sent to? using Automatic payment program or manual outgoing payment?

    Hi Gowrishankar,
    You can change the house bank while runinng the Payment Program in F110.
    Please follow the below steps for your requirement.
    F110 --> give the parameters & save. >  click on Edit Proposal> Double click on vendor ( it will give you the due invoices tobe paid) --> double click on the invoice document which you want to pay in BOA US > Click on Reallocate button> give payment menthod , House bank , account ID and save.
    The next subsequent steps are normal.

    Please can anyone advise?  I have had a couple of transactions from my bank account, one for around £28, not from me, then there was a strange

    First of all this is not the forum to be discussing this. Second, these are user-to-user forums and Apple does not have a support presence here. Since this involves a disputed payment you need to contact Apple directly for resolution.

    Resolution
    Follow these steps for help troubleshooting cellular data issues on your iPhone. After performing each step, please test to see if the issue is resolved.
    Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings, turn airplane mode on, wait three seconds, and then turn off again.
    Restart your iPhone.
    Make sure that your software is up to date:
    Check for a Carrier Settings Update: Tap Settings > General > About.
    Check for an iOS Software Update: Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
    Note: Some updates may require a Wi-Fi connection.
    Remove the SIM Card and reinsert it. Allow the iPhone to acquire the network again.

    If you want to change your iCloud ID or password on your phone go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated information.  Note: this only deletes the account and any synced data from your phone, not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts it will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.

    You can't reset it.  If you don't konw the password then you can't use that backup

    Hi,
    If you are trying to post for a single payment method to different account id's for the same currency, then system wont allow this combination.
    You need to check the same in FBZP under Bank determination.
    Make sure, if payment method is same and you need to post to different account ids then the second account id must have a different currency.
    This is a basic requirement from SAP side.

    Hi Experts,
    In customizing i have defined Alternative reconcillation account for a Reco Account of customer.
    When i post 2 line items in customer invoice,it is picking recon account from customer master for 1st line item and alternative recon account for 2nd line item .
    But it should pick Alternative Reco Account for both line items.
    Kindly guide me which setting should be checked for this ?

    Hi,
    You defined alternative reconciliation account for customer but you still have some customizing points to check in addition for that.
    Please check OV64 ( IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Function -> Account Assignment/Costing -> Reconciliation Account determination -> Assign GL Accounts )
    And additionnally: IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Function -> Account Assignment/Costing -> Reconciliation Account determination -> Define Access Sequence
    In OBXY transaction, you define alternative rec. accounts per special G/L indicatoris, for example in the case of A/R doubtful / bad debt , system will not pick up rec. account from customer ùmaster record, but the one defined in OBXY. This is for FI part

    How can I update this info into Remit-To bank account in Invoice Workbench screen?

  • How to select Specific Bank Account and Cheque Lot no. while making payment

    I have define 3 bank account for a given House bank.
    For e.g For ICICI bank we have account in 3 different branch and depends on requirement we make payment for different bank.
    e.g - GL code 20000100, 20000101, 20000102 for one location 0 being main and 1& 2 sub a/c  - House Bank Code - ICIC & Account 3888
            GL code 20000200, 20000201, 20000202 for one location 0 being main and 1& 2 sub a/c - House Bank Code - ICIC & Account 4888
            GL code 20000300, 20000301, 20000302 for one location 0 being main and 1& 2 sub a/c - House Bank Code - ICIC & Account 5888
    We have defined cheque lot no,. for all the 3
    Lot No. 1  - For 3888               500001 - 500100
    Lot No. 2 - for  48888             600001 - 600100
    Lot No. 3 - for  58888              700001 - 700100
    While selecting for payment it takes Lot 1 for first account it is working fine, if we select lot 2 or 3 we get following error message
    Lot 0002 Not found

    I have created a new bank account for an existing House bank (in trans. fi12)
    When we run the payment program F110, the wrong bank account is mentioned in the DME file.
    It shows the first one on the list and not the last one.
    How can I create a DME file with the new bank account?

    When I go in transaction FBZP, and drill down to Bank accounts, I only find the first bank account ID (which is the wrong one).
    I assume that if I add the new one, it will work?

  • Unable to select confirmed bank account as payment method

     Customer service has been no help (not a surprise from what I read here). Have been paying my rent using confirmed bank account for almost a year. Suddenly, the only options I have are PayPal credit or my Visa debit card. This latter is linked to the same confirmed bank account but carries, of course, a $36.55 fee.     Thanks for reaching out to us here! We're sorry to hear about the trouble completing your payment using your bank account. Each time you make a payment from your PayPal account it goes through a series of filters to determine how much potential risk may be involved with that particular payment. If the system deems a transaction to be high risk then it may limit the funding options that are available or block the payment all together from going through. It sounds like this is what you may be running into here.
    These filters are in place to help protect you from possible transactions occurring from your account by an unauthorized third party, or in some instances from potentially bad sellers. They look at things like payment history, log in location, and computer ID to help protect you. From time to time though we may come across a false positive where a legitimate transaction is being blocked.
    Another thing that could be causing this is the number of payments currently processing from the bank account. If there are a lot of payments pending through the bank that have not completed yet, the system may limit the ability to fund further transactions using this account until some of these transactions have completed.
