HI.. I'd like to know how to make it possible..
[X] ---stand for radiobutton
[ ] Yes

I want to make that ..the shipment date range input field is appeared..after choosing "Yes"
[X] Yes (in the same row) Shipment Date ________ to __________ ( select-options: sp_fkdat for vbrk-fkdat. )

Submit selection screen options of one report to another report

hi ,
My requirement is as follows . i have a report with a selection screen .The report fetches data from a ztable according to multiple parameters and select options in the selection screen. The mandatory parameters are two diffrent dates according to which the data is fetched. If one of the dates is the CURRENT date then the data to be fetched is not present in the Ztable as the data is updated daily at midnight. What is required if the user enters the current date in one of the dates then my report should save the selection screen parameters present in therest of the select options and submit these parameters to the second report which updates the data into the table so that my report can fetch it accordingly. If i am getting a bit confusing i am sorry . This is the best i could explain .If any clarififcations are required please ask. Please could u help me with this problem and guide me how to do this . When you start an executable program, the standard selection screen normally appears, containing the selection criteria and parameters of both the logical database connected to the program and of the program itself. When you start an executable program using SUBMIT, there are various additions that you can use to fill the input fields on the selection screen:

I need information regarding the selection screen when i am executing the Tcode CRM_DNO_MONITOR.
When i am executing CRM_DNO_MONITOR in the selection screec there are follwing options:
Mine
My Department
My colleagues
My Team(s)
In the selection screen if choose "Mine" option am able to see the o/p and if i select any other options am not getting the o/p. So It would be great if any one explain what are these options for and how they are use full ?
If i want to delete the unwanted selection criteria is that possible.

in this program there are 2 selection screens,called from MAIN screen.
DEMO_SEL_SCREEN_AS_SUBSCREEN
i want to create similar..
In main screen i will have 3 screens (which should have of screen type 'Selection screen ' ) and 1 BOX (in which I will have Table control)..
I created the main screen 0100 and 3 sub screens..(1001,1002,1003)
But when i want to create these I cannot choose Screen Type as 4 Selection screen (the other options are 1.normal 2.Subscreen 3 Modal dialog box)..
I have gone through other threads..they simply say its not possible..
then how was it done in DEMO_SEL_SCREEN_AS_SUBSCREEN..
Also i have seen Zprograms with 3 sub screens as Selection screen ...

Variable Selection Screen Options.....is this poss??

Variable values can be displayed in Text, Text & Key, Key using the Hammer icon feature.
How do I make say only " Text " ( for variables ) as default for all the users ?

I shud have mentioned that I was referring the variable selection screen which pops up when a query is run.
Your idea works fine in my system but when I try under a diff a user its all the same again, Text is always defaulted!
Is it possible to have Key Values Defaulted for some variables & Text for some others??

How to restric the selection screen option

This is my first time to use this site. I am working on report which is OM report using PCH logical DB. when I run the report it runs for all OBJID instead of running for the select one(the one I use on selection screen).
Does any one has any Idea why is this doing that and how to fix it.

Text for block and select option on the selection screen of Logical Databas

I have copied a standard program (RFBELJ10) which is making use of LDB (BRF) and created a custom program. Now, the requirement is to add a selection screen option to the custom report and do some validation on the data extracted. I have added the select option and provided a text (lets say "Segment") to it using menu path Goto --> Text Elements --> Selection Texts and activated. But this text is not displayed on the screen when i execute the report. It is showing the string which i used while defining the select option.
Also i need to provide a frame and title to it. but its not displayed.
i have written the following code for that:
SELECTION-SCREEN: BEGIN OF BLOCK seg WITH FRAME TITLE text-h01. " Segment

Solved the problem. I have maintained the text in German. So, when I execute the report in english, it is not displaying the text. I have translated the texts to English and is working fine now.

Hi Pradeep,
WDP ABAP does not directly provide the selection screen options as in ABAP programming.
You can achieve the selection screen functionality using the WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS component usage. Go through the WDP component WDR_TEST_SELECT_OPTIONS.

How to set Screen type "Selection Screen" in Dialog program

I have copied a screen 400 from a program into my program. In that screen in source program, the screen type was defined as 'Selection Screen'. After i copied that screen into my program, the screen type Selection Screen option is disabled. How to set the screen type of a screen to Selection Screen.
I am currently getting the following error
"Error when generating the selection screen "0400" of "Ztest_screen ".
I tried running the generation program RSDBGENA. There the diagnosis was given as follows:
When generating the report Ztest_screen and its selection screen, an existing screen 1000 (not a selection screen) was overwritten.
The selection screen was defined as follows:
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 400 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK blck1 WITH FRAME TITLE text-001.
SELECT-OPTIONS: s_matnr FOR mara-matnr.

I am calling the screen 400 with selection screen declarations in PBO of screen 0100.

I had copied the generated screen 400 also from the source program into my program. This was the error. I deleted that and the report got activated now.
Both the source and destination programs are not module pool. They are executable programs.

At selection-screen output (code section 13), set "1" to the field REQUIED by using MODIFY SCREEN code .
(You can get Dynpro number by F1 key or T-cd SE51 )

Selection screen as in MD02 in a custom program

Hi everyone.
I need to create a program for which the selection screen should contain all of the MD02 tcode select options except the material and plant.
Please let me know how I can achieve this.
I dont know what fields I need to describe in the parameters.

I dont want to create as module pool. I want to actually create as a report.
I will be more clear. I need in the selection screen, the sales order number and all selection screen options of MD02. (Except the material and plant select options).
Then if we enter the sales order number, I need to display the list of sales order nr, item nr, material, material descr, plant. I need a check box in front of each line in the display of this list.
Then I need to select few of these and click a push button and do MRP based on some logic.
Please give me some ideas how I can achieve this.

Modify selection screen for Logical Database 'SDF'

Hi
I need to make a section of the standard selection screen for logical database 'SDF' invisible. I have tried the differet selection screen options of the report attributes, but none of the provided ones give me what I want.
How can I find the name of the screen group for the "Line Item Selection" block of the selection screen so that I can make it invisible when the selection screen is displayed?

I tried to do this:
Loop at screen.
         if   screen-group4 = '026'
           or screen-group4 = '027'
           or screen-group4 = '028'.
             screen-invisible = 1.
             modify screen.
         endif.
endloop.
This removed the selection text for these fields, but the Line Item Selection block is still visible, and the actual input fields are also visible. They now look like password input fields with all ***** in them.
What am I doing wrong?
