Send email noticification with no report attachment

HI,
I added a script to an IBOT which saves a report to a server loaction, all good, next when this IBOT runs I want to email OBIEE users in the IBOT to say report ready , without attaching the report in the IBOT/Email... any ideas...

Have your brother create a contact in his phone for himself. Inside his own contact, have him add his phone number and his iCloud address.
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive Have your brother select both his phone number and email addresses where he would like to receive iMessages.

I am facing issue with create and send email option with script. In my call flow there is an option to offer call to key in their phone number and script need to pass that phone number to supervisor as an email. I have created the script but every time when I key in the phone number is pass through the unsuccessful node. Please find the script as attachment.

Which version of UCCX/IPIVR you are using and what is the type of license? Because this feature is only supported with Premium License. Please check the UCCX data sheet from the below link.

The system is back up and fully functional. How long has it been since you stopped receiving notifications? Can you share your form with us so we can have a look into what might be going wrong?

Sending email - problems with text in email body

Hello all,

Everything works fine, except that the text I attach in documents-content_text doesn't appear as a normal text in the email body but within an .EXT-attachment. Should this be a TXT attachment?
E.g. when I send the text 'Hello World' the email arrives with an attachment 'Hello World.EXT'.
Did anyone have the same problem? What's wrong?

How do I send/email Documents with high security and password protected

I want to send Documents securely to my clients. What product do I need and how do I send/email with password protection? I recently purchased Adobe Send but not sure this was the right product needed to send my documents securely?

In Acrobat you can create a Portfolio in which your documents (any types) will be placed as attachments and encrypt the whole portfolio. You can also create a small PDF, possibly with explanation what is in it, attach your files to it, and encrypt this PDF. In this case you can encrypt attachments only, so that the user can open the shell PDF but to extract the files would need to know the password.

Lost messages when sending email offline with iOS6?

I'm using iOS6 on an iPad 3rd generation, WiFi only.
When I'm in airplane mode, or I'm not connected to a Wifi access point I can compose e-mail messages and press Send, and rather than getting an error saying I'm offline, the iPad displays the "sending" progress bar and makes the "wooshing" noise that it normally does if it were offline, but obviosuly the mail isn't sent - 'cos I'm not online.
However, when I connect to Wifi point, the e-mail isn't sent - the mail doesn't appear in the sent folder, and it's not in a Drafts folder either, so I can't attempt to resend.
I'm getting the same behaviour for both an Exchange and an IMAP/SMTP account.
Both worked previously with iOS 5 (you'd get an error and it wouldn't send the message until you connect to an access point).
Is anyone else seeing the same problem? Any pointers to a fix or work-around?

I have experienced a similar problem. Having sent an email and heard it go (the "wooshing" noise) I noticed a few minutes later the small symbol next to my btinternet mail box indicating that it had lost touch with its server or gone offline. I didnt think much of this but the next day I noticed that this email is not in my sent emails ( I double checked by logging into my BTemail account online and it is not in the sent email folder there either). The email was not sent, and is not saved as a draft. That's 30 minutes work gone to waste and the only reason I have found out is that I suspect this has happened before so I made a point of checking sent items. On previous occasions I have thought that maybe I deleted the email by mistake, or didnt press send or made some other mistake. This time though I definately pressed send, definately heard the wooshing noise, and the email is now gone.
The solution would seem to be to stop using Apple's Mail system to send emails and log into the mail account on line.

You can enable logging for the package, and redirect the error message to a text file, and then display the content of the text file in the email message body.
When configuring the logging, you can enable the logging for the entire package or each Control Flow Task. For the step-by-step guidance, please see:

Then, in the Send Mail Task, you can configure the "MessageSourceType" property to “File Connection”, and select the log file. Of course, you can attach the log file as an attachment of the email.

Sending email messages with Outlook 2007

I use Outlook 2007 for email and have FIOS at home. I also use it on the road and in the office. No problems until the last week when all outgoing email get hung up in my outbox at home. When I connect elsewhere, they are sent. I have tried changing the account settings and did a complete shut down of the system with no luck.
Interestingly, my ipad and blackberry have no trouble at home. Did something change recently in the Dallas Texas area to mess with us Outlook users?

Viuafax, it is a pain. Not only do we have to swap the settings, which isn't a real hardship, but many server hosts won't open another port simply because Verizon decided to block the common setting.
In my case, I am now forced to use Verizon's outbound server to send emails, which means they are subject to the limits and spam filter. Today is the first day of me using this and already I have had two messages blocked as spam.
Now keep in mind that these are messages from me to just one person and that person happens to be on the same domain as me. They are a work colleage. So clearly not spam.
So the pain is not changing the settings, but rather that I am now forced to either use the Verizon mail server, which I would just assume avoid. I'd be very happy to keep my so called spammy traffic off it for them if they'd let me.

Macs newer than 10.7's release just need to boot with the 'D' key.

Sending email error with Yahoo: "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed."

HELP! Why am I getting this error message? It's driving me crazy! When I try to send an email, the message stalls in the outbox and the following message pops up - "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed." I have deleted and reinstalled the account, restarted the phone, etc - what the heck? The emails work just fine at Yahoo online, so the account it fine...I don't want to hard reset the phone, as I had to do that recently and it's a pain - any suggestions?

OR they are the right settings but you are trying to send through a different internet provider or 3G provider, that does not allow that SMTP server to send email.
if I send email from 3g or someone elses wifi on a different ISP, it will not work, because it does not allow that server to be contacted. this is normal.
What you want to do is setup a gmail account and use their SMTP server settings for the defauly outgoing server. that way you dont have to worry about this.

FDM Send Email with a Report attachment

Hi All,
I'm currently trying to roll out a form of "Lights - Off " automation in for HFM version 9.3.3 , by using the FDM Task Manager to schedule loading information from my organisation's source system JDE.
The final element of that automation from our perspective is to have an alert email from FDM to certain users once the 4 - Fish process is complete.
This has worked successfully using 'Send Mail' from Accelerators, however what would be even more useful is to be able to either attach Process/Check Reports.
I am only a beginner in VB but am willing to take steps if someone can point me in the right direction of either adding the report in the body of the email or as an attachment. I saw a great example of an email alert from Tony Scalese on the attached link

I assume your familiar with the 'Send Mail' Accelerator script so i won't go into that part of it.
As mentioned previously I opted to attach the source file and save reports on a shared drive. Therefore from the selected script below you can modify to your needs.
Firstly I published a report (using the Report Publishing accelerator) to a specific location with a variable name (as shown in my example below) or you can give it a specific name so each time it's run it will overwrite the previously run report.

I am using iPhoto version 9.6 and I can no longer get an email sent with a photo attached. I get an error message saying the email did not go through because the server did not reply. I can send the photo with Mail. Help!

I have upgraded to Yosemite and also updated the iPhoto application to version 9.6. I am no longer able to send a photo from iPhoto via email. I get an error message saying the server is not responding. But, when using the same server in Mail, I can attach the photo and send it. My wife is using the older version of iPhoto and it works fine.
I have checked the settings for the outgoing server, etc. and the Mail settings match those in iPhoto.
Could this be due to either the Yosemite upgrade or the iPhoto upgrade?

This solution is for those of you using 2-step verification for your Apple ID and are using iCloud as the mail server that you are trying to mail photos with.
I too had this issue. The problem in my case occurred because I had setup 2-step authentication for my Apple ID. If you have done this then you will get the error message "the mail server did not recognize your email/password...". To solve the problem go to:

Click "Manage Your Apple ID"
Verify your identity with the device you selected (if this step does not show up then you have not likely set up 2-step authentication and this is not your solution)
Click Password and Security in the left column
Click Generate an app-specific password
Enter iPhoto as the name of the app
Copy the password and paste this into the password box in iPhoto where you would normally enter your apple ID (in the mail account section in iPhoto preferences).
And...voila' (I hope)
