Service Agreements in Esourcing

Hi Expert,
Could you please guide me how to enable service agreements and replicate to back end system as a service contract with service lines.
Thanks,
Ratan

Hi
As I said services are treated as material here in e sourcing thus you can list all your services defined in SAP ECC as materials here. Once a master agreement is created for a service, its data can be extracted to create a service contract in ECC instead of an outline agreement.
In order to differentiate between an outline agreement and a service contract you can create a custom field in the master agreement.
You would need help of  XI/ABAP experts to write custom logic for creating the backend contract document (outline agreement and a service contract ) once data is retrived from E sourcing application

  • How many times can I extend warranty (Thinkplus Extended Service Agreement)?

I have a T60, which came with an original 3-year warranty. Before the warranty expired in August 2009, I purchased Thinkplus extended service for 1 year (41C9279) for $199, which expires in August 2010. Can I purchase additional Thinkplus extended service for 1-2 more years before the August 2010 expiry date?
Lenovo still offers 1 and 2-year post-warranty services for my T60 (2007-C2U model), as this link states:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=TPAD-PWMA
But I read somewhere that the warranty can only be extended once. Does that mean I cannot purchase more extended service agreements? And if I can, does the Thinkplus extended service also apply internationally, if the original warranty was eligible for international warranty?
    Thanks

Model 2007 is pretty well-covered when it comes to IWS, but without knowing what country exactly you're planning on travelling or moving to, it's tough to say.
    Here's the list, though:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/warrantyLookup.do?type=2007&iws=on&sitestyle=lenovo
As for extending warranty for another year, give Lenovo a call and check first hand. The rule of the thumb is that the machine can't be under warranty for longer than five years of the original purchase date, at least to my knowledge.
    Hope this helps.

  • Create Service Agreement - In Status field, "Release" is not appearing.

    Hi folks,
I am creating a simple Service Agreement in CRM Web UI. Entered all data required like Customer, product, org details, price discount etc.. and tried to "release" before saving.
In the Status field "Release" option is not there to select. I see only "In Process" and "Completed".
Can anybody tell me how to make 'Release' available, so that I can release the document and save it.
The price is not determined for the product. Could that be the reason?
The document is error free as I don't see errors in App log.
Please give me and idea to resolve. Will be generous in giving points.
    Regards,
    John

    Hi Shashidar,
Thank you for your response. Here is the following steps I did:
    1. Status profile is CRMORDER
    2. In this status profile, I see the following:   Open with status No.10
                                                                        In Process - 20
                                                                        Completed - 30
                                                                        Rejected - 40
    3. I added a new entry for Released with status number: 50
    4. I have taken care of the Lowest and Highest Limits.
    5. I also checked the 'Object Type' as 'Agreement'
Now, I am not clear which Business Trans I should assign. In the drop down list, I see many Bus.Trans for 'Release'
such as APRL - Release / CALL - Release / CREL - Release and so on.
My question is, which one of these should I select. I tried couple of them, it did not work. (Release still not appearing on CRM7.0 Web UI)
Currently, I am trying to release a Service Agreement on the Web UI. I played around with lowest and highest limits a couple of times and it changes accordingly in Web UI. But some reason 'Release' is not visible which carries the status No.50.
I wonder what is going wrong. Any help would be well appreciated with generous points.
    Thank you in advance,
    Fred

  • Service Agreement and Service Level Agreement

    Hi
Can anyone provide me a copy of Service agreement and Service level agreement which can used between sap partner and a customer.
I am doing my first implementation in SAP B1 and i want to make this agreement with my customer before i start implementing the software.
I searched the portal but couldnt locate it.
    Thanks and Regards
    C.Louis

    Hi,
I think the first agreement document is EULA (end user license agreement). The second is your request.
I think you can ask the sample of the agreement to SAP branch in your country. if not, let me know your e-mail.

  • Service Ticket SLA with Service Agreement

    hi experts,
we have a requirment where we need to create service tickets with reference to service agreement. As per the doucmentation, service agreements can be created based on sold to party BP or BP type. We are planning to use with BP Type as we dont want to maintain at every BP level. Now the issue is, i dont have sales org data maintained at all sold-to party level. we have thousands of existing customers and maintaining their sales area data now is gonig to be difficult task.
Is there any alternate way to create Service ticket with reference SLA? is it possbile to determine SLA information purely based on BP type and organization info provided in service agreement (without going to sales area of the corresponding BP)
another question: if i create a copy of standard OAS service agreement and remove the org determination for sales org, will it work? Does the SLA determination still happens from service ticket?
i dont think service contracts work in thsi scenario either.
any details steps in this aspect would be greatly appriciated and rewared.
    Thank you
    Raghavendra

    Hello,
only a small hind which is maybe interesting:
If you use service request instead of service ticket you will be able to use a SLA determination procedure in the customizing of servicerequest.
This is quiet usefull - we changed from ticket to servicerequest.
    Best regards

  • Billing Plan and Promotions for Service Agreements

    Hello Friends,
We have a requirement here, that we want to sell a 1 Yr Service Agreement (Price of $1200) on a promotion who ever buys this service agreement will not be billed till three months (for evaluation purpose) and say if they like it and want to continue with this agreement then on the begining of the Fourth month they will be billed for the remaining portion of the service agreement ( i.e. $900). in a way that means they will get a 25% discount on this service agreement and remember the bill will be only one time i.e. in the fourth month for an amount of $900 and also this promotion should last only till the end of this year.
Any thoughts on how we can configure for this, your help
    will be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

You will require two service contract document types. The first (say contract type SC) which uses milestone billing and the other (say ZC) which uses periodic billing.
The second one should be generated as a follow up action of the first at the end of the first year.
Ensure that the milestone billing allows you to bill 25% in the first installment. You can ofcourse block this one. The second one should allow you to bill 75%. This will not be blocked.
If the customer does not terminate the contract during the first quarter you bill the customer for the second billing item.
Once this contract has ended you can create another contract which will use the periodic billing which is simple quarterly billing which is what I think u require.
Next, the item category is an area you might have to think on. You may be able to create the same contract type if u can create the same material with a different item category so that in the same document type u can create first an item with milestone billing and the second with periodic.
Most probably this will meet your requirement. Please vet this with the FI/CO guys to check how it reflects their G/L accounts.
Let me know if u need any more tips.
    thanx

  • ITunes U Service Agreement

A person at another institution is interested in getting an iTunes U store for their college. I am looking at the main information page:
    http://education.apple.com/itunesu/
... and in the fine print at the bottom of the page is a mention of the "iTunes U Service Agreement". Is there an online copy of this agreement? Is it custom-fit to each institution?

iTunes U does require a Service Agreement. The individual signing this agreement must have authority to contractually bind his or her institution to the terms and conditions of this agreement. To access the agreement institutions can apply to become an iTunes U institution and upon approval the individual with contract signing authority will receive a copy of the agreement.

  • IPhone 5 Service Agreement

I pre-ordered the iPhone 5 this morning and have yet to get an email to accept the service agreement. This is blocking my order from completing. I have talked to Apple and all they said was wait for the email. A friend of mine who also pre-ordered already got the email, but deleted his. Does anybody who pre-ordered have the URL included in the email so I can complete the service agreement?
I read that in the past it used to be http://abs.apple.com/tcat/, but that URL appears to no longer be valid.

AT&T gave me this link: https://www.wireless.att.com/tc
However, it was unable to find a pending terms and conditions agreement. And when I called they were not able to find a pending order. Apple may have not sent down my order yet. Does Apple have their own terms and service acceptance website separate from AT&T?

  • Derivation rule for service agreement

    Dear Gurus,
I have derivation rules between GL-commitment item and Cost center - Fund center. now when i create PR & standard PO for type "cost center" the system is working properly by derives fund center and commitment item automatically but when i create service agreement the system doesn't derive fund center and commitment item. If anyone have any suggestions, please let me know.

Are there any conditions to the derivation rule?
In my QA system, I was able to create a derivation rule GL=Committment item. It worked the first time I created a scheduling agreement using ME31L.
Then I went into the "conditon" tab of the derivation rule and entered business transaction=RMBA and RMBE (purchase requisition and purchase order respectively) and the derivation rule did not work when i created another scheduling agreement.
Other than some conditions exist or the target field attribute is needed to be set to overwrite. I am at a loss to what the problem could be.

  • Service Agreement Determination

    Hi,
In CRM Services wanted to know what are the "determination types" & there meanings  in Service Agreement Determination.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    PK

    Hi PK,
You question is not clear for me. However, I will try to answer your question.
In CRM Service scenario, Service contract or Service Agreement determination happens for the transactions like - Service Order, Service Confirmation and Complaint, based on the customizing setting.
For Service Contract one can make these settings in the following IMG activity:
Customer Relationship Management by choosing   Transactions  -> Basic Settings -> Define Transaction Types and using the Contract Determ indicator. You can make the following settings:
    No contract determination
    Manual contract determination
Only at item level (setting in standard SAP Customizing)
Contract determination at header and item level
The Contract Determ. field only appears in the detailed display for definition of the transaction type, if you have chosen Complaint, Service Process, Service Confirmation or Sales as the leading transaction category.
Similarly we can maintain IMG setting for Service Agreement determination for the transaction types Service Order, Confirmation and Complaint. However, service agreement determination can happen only at Item level.
If both Service Agreement and Service Contract determination is maintained for a transaction type in the system then the determination priority goes to Service Contract determination in transaction processing.
For e.g., if the system finds a service contract during Service Order processing, then determination of Service Agreement will not take place.
    Hope this information helps.

  • Service agreement for iphone4

does anyone know the website where i can sign the service agreement for iphone 4? i just called apple and they said its a hold on my account until i can get it signed the guy was giving me the address but he was talking to fast even after i asked him to slow down he wouldnt . he said it was something like www.abs.apple.com/tch something like that but that isnt correct if someone could help me so i could find out what it thanks.

    Couple of things…
First, the AT&T and iPhone service agreements pop up in iTunes when you connect your new iPhone 4 to your Gateway. I "think" this is the agreement to which you refer. I just activated my iPhone 4 (hooray!) and had to agree myself.
Nextly, this is the wrong forum for your question. This forum is for iTunes U administrators to post questions about managing iTunes U sites. iTunes U is "iTunes University"…it's a program wherein schools from around the world can post content to the iTunes Store. Your question would likely be better directed to an iPhone forum.

  • Service Agreement & Service level Agreement

    Hi all
What is the difference between Service Agreement & Service Level Agreement?
Your response asap is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Sonali

    Hi Sonali,
Service agreement consist of all the pricing details agreed upon between the customer and organization. e.g. org. will provide so and so customer xyz service at 50 USD/Hour.
Service Level Agreement are the time details to perform the services offered to a customer. i.e. what should be the time duration within which first response should be done to customer query or service. What should be the time duration within which the serivce has to be completly delivered to a customer.
e.g Installing a water purifier at customer location. here SLA could be once customer place an order a service engineer should give him a call within a day to know at what time he/she could come an install purifier. Secondly serivce person should any how complete the installation process within 3 days of customer order.
If the SLA are missed penalty could be applied to organization by providing certain rebate to customer.
