Service not working after altering Model provider class

Dear all,
I have created a OData service and consumed it successfully. I was able to post data to it. Now after altering the "model class" i.e., adding one property and changing ABAP Dictionary type. After doing these changes but i couldn;t consume the service and get "500 Internal server".
Did anyone experience this problem? Please note i didnt use Service builder(SEGW) to create a project instead i did all manually using Model and Data provider classes.
Please suggest. Your help is appreciated.

Hello Prabaharan,
This is a generic error at client side and there can be multiple reasons for it. This error is from the hub system and only way to check this error is to look into error log and application log in hub system.
Common Problems: property type errors (date, decimal/precision etc.)
But looking at the problem you are facing like Ron suggested you might get 500 internal server error because properties like data and time need to be defined nullable and you might have missed that.
Kindly check and mark fields as nullable if properties you are sending in the payload are null values.
lo_property->set_nullable( ).
Cache clean up is required only when you have done some changes to your model.
See the metadata and confirm if the new property added by you is present. if you are not able to see then do the following.
Try Clearing the cache using /n/iwbep/cache_cleanup and /n/iwfnd/cache_cleanup t-code.
Also clear server cache using /nsmicm t-code as shown below.

Email account and Internet service not working after migration onto a new (upgraded 3rd party) 2012 MBP. Hardware or software issue.

I just purchased a refurb Mac Book Pro from the Apple on-line store. When I received the machine (serial number) I purchased 3rd party (OWC) parts. All of these were installed by the authorized, local Apple repair store I have had excellant results with past issues with my 2006 MBP. The parts installed are: 16 meg ram, 240 SSD and a 1 T installed replacing the optical drive.
Feeling ready now, I had the Apple store do the migration from my 2006 MacBook Pro (OS 10.6.8) over to the 2012.
When trying to get the new machine into the production flow, I cannot get email to work. It will launch but I cannot access accounts.
During the One to One, then moved over to the Genius Bar appointment, they reentered the account(s) data. Nothing.
Also at this time they noticed that the Internet connection was not working.
A new internet account was set up and it worked. They (Genius) launched email and the Internet connection crashed. This was repeated about 5 times.
The computer was left with Apple to reinstall the OS (10.8) - their best suggestion as a fix and I have now had a call to say that the install did not correct the problem. Now they are questioning the install of the 3rd party parts as the possible problem.
I'm to go back into the Apple store to discuss the next steps.
I would really, really appreciate anyones thoughts / suggestions on this problem. Is it software or hardware? Should I re-install the original ram and 500 m hard drive to start over with the migration? I'll be honest here and state - I'm not a technician in computers or this side of technology. That is why I have reliable parties do the install and trouble shoot. Not a comfortable feeling being at their mercy.

Back from the Apple store with my 2012 MacBook Pro.
After one re-install of the OS - no better - a clean install was performed - purging all of the data that they had migrated over from my 2006 MBP last week.
The belief is, that the migrated data from my 2006 MBP was too great of a leap for the new 10.8. My (a lot) software was too dated and there in was a "blip" of some sort in some / one of the programs.
So - all of the OWC parts and pieces that I had installed are not the issue - as they all show up on the About this Mac - and other things are functional. Yeah.
I now have my 2012 back (with upgrades) in the original form (OS and programs) and I will start a one by one migration of programs that I do need and use. Being cautious not to make one large transfer.... weeding out programs that will no longer be needed or will work on the OS 10.8. I will manually set up the email accounts one by one.
Fingers crossed.

Populator not working after deleting model and items from Oracle cofigurator.

I had created a ATO model, and populated it to the Configurator, worked with it, created UIs, tested with OM (and BOM) worked alright.
But, I had to delete the items and models in the Configurator as my playing around had messed it up. Now I populated it again from Oracle Apps, it is not bringing in the items (none at all) and it is not bringing in the options for option classes more then two level deep. Also, weirdly only the descriptions keep appearing in the Model tree node not the name, even if I choose it in the tree. I tried running purge configuraotr tables.
Do you have any idea why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

First, back up your Mac. To learn how to do that read Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac
Then:
Launch the Console app - it is in your Utilities folder. You can find it by selecting Utilities from the Finder's Go menu.
If the log list column on the left is not already displayed, show the log list by selecting Show Log List from Console's View menu. Select Show Toolbar if it is not already shown.
Locate system.log in the list and select it. Many date and time-stamped entries will appear, hundreds of them, and you must find the entries relevant to your Mac's problem.
To do that click the Clear Display button in the Toolbar. All previously displayed log entries will reappear.
Next: Perform whatever actions cause the Mac to exhibit the slow behavior. If the problem is caused by errors logged by the system, the Console window will show them being recorded in system.log.
One or more of them, along with their time stamps, may reveal the reason for the problem you describe.
Copy and paste those log entries in a reply. If hundreds of the same repetitive messages appear, please edit them before posting. There should be no need for more than 100 or so total log entries.
Most of the entries will be cryptic but will contain information you might consider personal such as your Mac's name. If you do not want that information to appear, delete or obscure it when posting your reply. Leave enough information so that the entries can be deciphered.

Location Services not working after iOS6 update

After updating to iOS 6 my ipad (3), Location Services no longer work, siri doesn't know where I am, 'Find My iPhone'cannot locate any devices, Maps cant find my position...and so on. I have double checked all seetings and they are correct. There was no problem under iOS5 on the same iPad. Does anyone know whats going on?

This is good news! I am getting my first ever iPhone (5) next week (Hopefully) nice to know I can use location service on that at least.

Location services not working after iOS 6 update (WiFi only)

After updating my iPad (3 & WiFi only) to iOS 6 the location services no longer work. This stops some apps from working. It was fine before the update. Does anyone have a fix for this yet? I know others have been having the same problem.

Before IOS 4 iPad and iPhone used Google and Skyhook databases for position info. In April Apple switched to using it's own in house database for location services. In the past one could register the MAC address and position of a router or access point with Skyhook and within 2 to 3 weeks any device with location services could find itself. Now with Apple handling it's own position database and no way to register an access point or router it is hit or miss as to whether an iPad or iPhone can find itself using WIFI only. If you live in a rural area you are less likely to have location services work. Hopefully Apple will emulate Skyhook in future by allowing users to register their access points or router's location in their data base. Until then those of us in rural areas are out of luck. Reset button not working after update model

<af:commandButton type="reset"/> works fine before update model (user submits form). But after that, it doesn't work. So how do I reset a form to previous state after model updated. For example, user wants to reset the form when there are validation errors.

Hi,
reset only resets values entered before submit. If you need to undo entries after submit, you need to change this on the model. In ADF BC, you can access the Row and call a method to refresh it with DB forget, in which case the original values are added from the database

Activate Services not working after 10.9.3 update

Just did 10.9.3 update
On a restart Activate Services crashed. I also don't see icons at the top of a finder window.
Mac mini late 2012.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if iTunes crashed, you would enter "iTunes" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Step 2
In the Console window, select
          DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

"no serializer is registered..." error with a web service not working

I'm having issues with the web service not working after I create a client for it. The web service works fine up until I generate the proxy on the other side.

I saved the file before I added the proxy and the wsdl looks the same between the working one and the non working one. I can not pin point the when the change to the web service is occuring. It seemed to work once all the way up until I had a ADF page trying to retrieve data, another time it failed when the proxy was created.
I can get the version that I saved to work immediately after the version that does not fails.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Satellite L870-165 does not work after being repaired by their service

Laptop Toshiba warranty does not work after being repaired by their service twice.
Model: Satellite L870-165
Computer will not boot, stays with black screen stating: No bootable device-Please restart your system
After reboot still happening the same.
I called Toshiba phone incident and after trying several options I said take him to repair the service.
They first told me it was the hard drive, then phoned me to indicate that reinstalling and finally it was the motherboard, which supposedly changed. The day after being picked computer repair returned to give exactly the same error, only malfunctioned one evening.
After another call to 902 the Toshiba warranty service, I went back to take the service, this time I changed the hard drive. When I got home the computer did not start even once, again gives the same error.
I believe that this team comes with a factory default so that its solution is not easy because even the technical service told me that I did not know what else to do with it.

This message pops up because the notebook cannot find the Windows system.
There could be either an problem with the HDD or maybe the HDD is OK but the Windows system isnt preinstalled properly.
You said that the service agent changed the HDD. But did someone install the Windows system?
You can try to do it yourself take your recovery disk (hopefully you created such disk in the past) and boot from the recovery disk in order to install the system.
In case booting from the Disk would not be possible, go to BIOS (F2) and disable the secure boot and change from UEFI to CSM mode

Ok, I had the same issue, my phone is unlocked(iphone 5 with 6.1.3). So I went to the apple store and had it replaced. it worked good for a day and started doing the same thing. When the apple tech replaced my phone, he transfered my screen protector to the new one.
so I thought it was my sim card, I put in my sisters sim card from a different carrier and it did the same, so then I was like let me take off the screen protector, and that was it.
so guys, if you have a screen protector on your phone and it's doing "low signal", "No Service", "Searching", "Full bars cycle" then take off the screen protector. so far my phone is working normal.

Hmmmm... would appear that you need to be actually logged in to enable the additional menu features.
Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?

Web Service is not working after Upgrade SAP EHP6

Hi ,
Recently we upgraded SAP ECC 6.0 to EHP 6.
We have a custom web service which is consumed in .NET Application to get the Sold To from Sales Order.
the service is working perfectly before upgrade and it is not working after upgrade to EHP6.
When I tested the Service in WS Navigator in SAP, it is working fine.
We raised a message to SAP and SAP analyze the Traces and confirm that the HTTP Request Header coming from .NET application is not having User ID and Password , so it is throwing exception from SAP as unauthorized.
But in service it is configuration as basic authentication and log on using user id and password and .NET application is calling service by passing user ID & Password.
Customer is not happy as it is working before Upgrade and SAP confirmed every thing fine in SAP, but the service is not working.
we did the below steps.
Regenerated the configuration
Re imported the Certificates
Activated the service in SICF.
Please let me know if anybody have same problem or if any steps we are missing.

That model has a known fault in that Nvidea sold Apple and other computer manufacturers bad GeForce 8600M GT video chipsets that failed eventually. Apple had a program that repaired this at no cost to the owner but it expired almost two years ago.
If this is what happened to yours, and the symptoms suggest so, the only proper fix is a new logic board and I amd pretty sure Apple no longer has parts. When my Late 2007 MBP (same faulty chipset) failed, Apple told me there were no more parts and they could not even do the fixed-rate "depot repair" on mine even though I was willing to pay the ~US$300 for the repair.
The early 2008 MBP is on the vintage and obsolete list:

The fact that yours is shown as "vintage" means Apple will not work on it but an independent service provider MAY be able to get the parts from Apple. However, as so may new logic boards were required to satisfy the repair program, from a practical standpoint boards for these are hard to find.

HP SimplePass Reader Does not Work after Sleep

I have only had my laptop for a week - the fingerprint reader stopped working 2 days after I bought it. I have tried everything: removing and re-installing various drivers and software, stopping and starting Credentials Manager, unchecking the box that allows the computer to turn the reader off to save power, etc.
I have gotten it to the point where it functions when the computer is logged in, but not after sleep. It works once if you restart the computer, but after waking it from sleep it does not initialize. (no light or anything) However, if you "lock" the desktop from the start menu, the reader will log it in again. (without closing the lid or putting it to sleep)
Simple Pass version 6.0 (latest downloaded from HP.com)

IPhone 4's WIFI has been not working after upgraded to 6.1.3(10B329)

     My IPhone 4 was working fine with its WIFI when it is running in default IOS version, I believe it was 5.x.x version, however after I upgraded to 6.1.3(10B329) then WIFI got very aweired issues again and again.starting from then I never get my WIFI working again:
1. Sometimes I can connect to my home's network and keep alive for 1-2 minutes then WIFI will not work on IPone, my home's router is not working either, I need to restart my home's router manually;
2. I can connect to my office's network and keep alive 5-10 minutes then WIFI is not working, however my office router is not affected; however the following days then I can't connect WIFI to office's network any more.
3. I tried to connect to other public area's free network via WIFI, however never joined in.
     I called Apple's service centre couple of times they have no clues, they said they never met this problem before for WIFI not working after upgraded to IOS 6.1.3 and no suggestions from them at all, every time I called them they gave me the same suggestion, such as restore-re-install, check your own router etc, nothing help, however my friend bought a brand new IPhone 4 with default IOS version 6.1.3 which is working perfectly without any issues on its WIFI then I believe this is a completely software issue.
     I know this is a general issue for Apple users and I refuse to upgrade to higher version as I am not sure the higher version can fix this issue however I am pretty sure the newer version of IOS did bring a lot of new bugs, anyone can provide me any suggestions guys ? THANKS A LOTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have fixed this issue after upgraded my router's firmware finally, this is a completely compatibility issue between Apple and other third party manufactures, hopefully we can get compabitlity list for each future IOS version ahead of time which can potentially avoid such kind of embarrassing situations moving forward, thanks !
