Service order posting date error.

In DBM Service order posting date is taken from the controlling document because of that error comes as
Document date 03.12.2011(Curent date)is greater than billing date 02.12.2011(Date given in Billing date in service order header)
But this error is not coming in sales document..
I need to post service order in the date i mentioned in the service order..
How dould i resolve this issue..?

  • Sales Order Posting Date on Invoice PLD

    Hello,
I am trying to post a Sales Order Posting Date to our Invoice PLD.  It is not native information to the Invoice PLD so I will probably need to create a query which I can then place into a UDF on the Invoice.
Any out there have a solution?
    Thanks.

    Hi
Sorry , for keeping messing up :
38.45.0 is referring to Invoice row level base key
logic is saying  Delivery number is equal to invoice row level base key
If you look at the link and Gagan answer ,your problem should have been solved .
Please close this thread if your problem is solved .

  • SAP IHC PAYMENT ORDER - posting date prior to Current posting date

    Hello folks,
I have a general question about SAP-IHC module.
While creating a manual internal payment order using IHC1IP transaction code, if I change the "Date Executed" date, the system allows to post the payment order in closed period(posting date prior to the current posting date(for the Bank area in F9B1), i.e. the payment items posted, contained in the IHC payment order, has an old posting date, which is prior to the current posting date of the Bank area - Is this normal?

    Dear,
Check with settings in OLMR transaction.
Invoice Block - Set Tolerance Limits [Transaction : OMR6]
Here you need to add New entries with - Tolerance Key : LD and company code and set the limits. Please check the documentation which available read as below:
LD: Blanket purchase order time limit exceeded
The system determines the number of days by which the invoice is outside the planned time interval. If the posting date of the invoice is before the validity period, the system calculates the number of days between the posting date and the start of the validity period. If the posting date of the invoice is after the validity period, the system calculates the number of days between the posting date and the end of the validity period. The system compares the number of days with the with the absolute upper limit defined.

  • Posting Date Error when using TPM10

    Hi, All
I am using TPM10 to reserve the cash flows that were previously posted using TBB1.
The problem occurs when I enter a different posting date (which I want to use as the reversal date) from the original posting date in TBB1.
There is little information in the error message except for E:E:745 ...
Has anybody had the same problem? Please share the solution.
    Thanks

When you reverse the documents in TPM10, you have to specify the TRM Reversal Reason.  This reversal reason is tied to an FI reversal reason via configuration.  Within the configuration for FI reversal reasons, you can specify what posting dates are valid for the reversals.  Look up the TRM reversal reason config to determine the FI reversal reason.  Then look at the config for the FI reversal reason.  I suspect that the FI reversal reason does not allow alternative postings dates (i.e. the reversal has to be posted to the same day as the original posting.)
The resolution to this issue is to use a TRM reversal reason that is tied to an FI reversal reason that allows alternative posting dates.

  • Production order - post date - cannot change

    Hi,
could anybody, especially from SAP, explain me the background and reason, why user cannot change the PostDate field in OWOR table of production order after the order is created?
And seccond related question is, why item gen. entry and exit are with date, which is in production order as PostDate and user cannot change it as well?
    Real situation:
User creates production order and sets as postdate April 2008. PM will order the material necessary for this production order and the material will arive to the stock at the end of May. At the end of May is posting period for April blocked already.
So now user has no chance without opening the posting period to finish the production order.
Opening and blocking posting period isnt solution for user. Im asking, because now we are implementing new customer and I know, that there will be the same problem and I would like to solve it before he will start.
Thanks a lot for make it clear for me.

    Dear Petr Verner,
1st to clarify your question currently It is not possible to change the Order Date ( Posting Date) for the production order ( to set as "Yes" in OWOR).
2nd, For any change you need in the system behavior, you need to go through Note: 1028874, and post the message accordingly.
3rd on UDF ( User Defined Field), I suggested you to attach and UDF for the Production order (UDF as Date format), and you can record the changes ( date when you want the order to be changed).
Note:- UDF will not effect accounting, but only for record and information purpose.
4th As I understand form your example, you say that An Production order A created in April, its Child Items comes in May.
Later you make Issue for Production. Which you say the JE for Issue for production will happen in April ( though the goods have come in May).
And Receipt for Production will happen in May, which is ok.
    Please clarify the 4th point.

  • Service Order -- When Date Changed -- Appointment need to changed

Whenever Date on the Service Order is changed, then already existing Appointment Date needs to updated with the new
    new date.
To meet this requirement, I was thinking about using Events (AFTER_CHANGE).
But is it possible to meet this requirement with the help of Events ?  Any advice on this on how to proceed?
    Please help !
    RJ

    Hi,
of course you can do it using events.
using after_change function module will be executed after each change - think of filter eg. in function module
to limit number of code executions to minimum. You can use save event also - then appointment will be changed after saved change of date.

  • Posting date error

While I am trying to make entry in back date by selecting the back positng period for e.g. if i am in january and i want to pass any entry in december then i will select posting period of december. I can easily pass this entry in demo version of SAP b1 2004.2b but in licensing server its giving error that positing date is variates from the system date. Where is the error plase solve.

    Hi Richa,
This is not a error, it is the validation of SAP B1, you do not able to post any entry for earlier date from system date.
if it is necessary for you to do this, you have to change your system date and do that task and againg change your system date to current date.
    hope it will help

  • Plant Maintenance / Customer Service Orders - Component Data

I asked this question yesterday but was told to go and look at SAP Help. Which I had done anyway but i've looked again and I'm still confused. On our SAP ECC system we use PM/CS Orders. I can see that I can extract the data from these orders using the 2LIS_17 & 2LIS_18 (Cubes 0PM_C04 & OCS_C03) . However these dont show the linked component data it's pureley operation data. I can see there is a goods movement cube that shows goods movements but is there any standard PM/CS cube that show stock and nonstock components that are linked to operations?
    Thanks
    Joel

    Hi,
    Thanks for your suggestion.
I've also already turned on the BC for inventory management and I can see the stock / non stock data there but i want to actually link it to the operation on the order. If the inventory management stuff si the only way to do it I guess we'll have to see if there is anyway of customising to get there.

  • IW45 changes cancellation of confirmed service orders

    Hi Every one,
User is trying to cancel a confirmed service order using Transaction code IW45. When he cancells the service order it is showing the posting date is past date( order confirmed date). Not current date.
But when we do the cancellaton of production orders and goods issue against service orders it is showing current date ( default ).
As per user requirement the cancellation of confirmed service order should display the current date not past date.
Since IW45 is a standard process , then the user requirement is the cancellation of service orders posting date should be the current date but not the service order confirmed date( Past Date ).
Please let me know is there any possibility if so how??

  • Tax Code removed on changing the posting Date in Purchase Order

    Dear All,
This is with reference to the Purchase Order Document tax part, the document has been defined with the approval procedure and document series followed as annual series. The document series is linked to the period indicator as I am using the monthly series for the A/R & A/P Invoice.
Now some Purchase Order was generated in the last month i.e. 30 NOV 07 which has gone for approval. These document are approved in the current month (Dec 07) & user are trying to add the records it displays the message as "Date deviates from permissible range [Purchase Order - Posting Date]  [Message 173-11]" as the period indicator is changed to Dec 07 in document numbering.
The problem is when user changes the document date to Dec 07 for posting; system removes the tax codes, which is available in the document. Now as this is approved document user is not able to change or renter the tax codes.
In this situation what can be done as the same case will again happen for the next month.
Pls. provide the solution / work around for this problem.
    Regards,
    Yogesh Jadav

    hi yogesh,
    Cancel/Close the created purchase order.
First you should change docduedate in posting period upto december 2007/end of fiscal year,by following the below path.
    (Administration->sytem intialization-> general settings--> posting period tab)
    Create a new purchase order.
Send it for approval, authorizer can change date as required,
once the posting date changes, tax code get refreshed, authorizer
need to select tax code once again.
<b>Tax code normally get refreshed when you change posting date it's normal
    system behaviour.</b>
After authorizer does above changes,he can approve purchase order.
Once purchase order is approved, orginator can add it as purchase order in draft stauts.
<b>After approval we can not do any changes in purchase order.</b>
Hope my solution will solve the problem.
    Thanks,
    With regards,

  • Service order - Error during account assignment - Avoid the transfer to ERP

    Hello SAP Experts,
I am facing a problem in CRM when saving Service Orders. An error is coming from my ERP system because the system is trying to tranfer the cost from the CRM Service Order to R3.
This is the error: Orgfinder: No value found for Organizational Unit BILL_ORG
I don't need the transfer of costs to the ERP. Can anyone tell me how we can deactivate this option? The item category is relevant for pricing but it is not relevant for invoicing and costs.
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance and regards.

    Hi Savan,
SAP CRM Status Management is a part of SAP CRM Basic or Base Customization and the link is available in the following path
IMG --> CRM --> Transactions --> Basic Settings --> Status Management --> Change Status Profile for User Status.
Here you can influence the status. You can also have a look at the status profile documentation here

  • Set Profile in Control Data of Service Order as required

    Hi gurus,
We need to set Dynamic Profile Field (FFPRF) in Service Order - Control Data Tab as mandatory.
As per usual procedure: SPRO - Plant Maintenance and Customer Service - Maintenance and Service processing - Maintenance and Service Orders --> Define Field Selection....We are not able to find field "Dynamic item Profile" in the list to set it as Required.
    Any idea how to proceed?
    Thanks!
    VL

    Hi Narasimhan,
    Thanks for your quick response.
We already considered setting as default DIP per Service Order but this is would not work for us as we have for one Service Order multiple possible Dynamic Item Profiles.
Would be great if we could set it as a required data so order can not be saved without DIP filled in. Isn´t it possible to do it via standard?
In addition to that would be great if we could set as default the DIP per Company Code to which the Service Order is assigned to. (enhancement IWO10009?) but relation Company Code - DIP would need to be maintained in a Z table...
    Thanks,
    VL
