Service request being created in CRM WEB IC

When an user creates an Interaction Record and then viewed any service request from the view Last five interactions from webIC the system is automatically creating an additional service Request.
Steps we follow
1. Open the Interction centre
2. Search (preferable who has previous service requests created)
3. Confirm employee.
4. SC interaction record screen is displayed
5. Bottom of the page, you see interaction history
6. Click on any of the service requests
7. Service request would be displayed
8. Go back using breadcrumbs
---> Problem, in activity clipboard of SC interaction, you would noticean employee request created.
Can any one help with a solution for this on an urgent basis, the business is being affected very seriously and SAP says they can't help
Note: Maximum points would be rewarded
Regards
Ravi

Yes,
The steps you mentioned are correct
1) Account Indentification
2) Interaction Record created and displayed
3) Select Service request from the Last 5 interactions from bottom on page
4) Selected one of the Service request
5) In Breadcrumbs dropdown I see
1) Employee(Service) Request(XXXXXXX) --- the one I selected from Interaction history and being displayed
2) Interaction Record (XXXX)*
3) Interaction Record (XXXX)*
4) Identify Employee
I click on breadcrumbs to go back or I press END without pressing SAVE
NEXT
Open the Interaction Record by searching for the same from INBOX
The NEW Employee Request (Service request) created is there
If I use breadcrumbs to go back and repeat steps 1--3 (account Identification to select Service request), it does not create one, it is for only the first time the additional request is created.
I hope I am clear....

Ravi

  • Problem in opening 'Find Service Request' and 'Create Service Request' HTML forms

    Hi,
I  am working on creating some date for EBS Service, and I am unable to open 'Find Service Request' and 'Create Service Request' HTML forms.
I keep getting the error message :
Oracle error - 20001: ORA-20001: APP-FND-02902: Multi-Org profile option is required. Please set either MO: Security Profile or MO: Operating Unit profile option. has been detected in MO_GLOBAL_INIT.
I have min knowledge of EBS set up and configuration. We just use EBS as a source system for our ETLs.  Please suggest any workaround to get resolve the issue.
    Thanks,
    Kishore

Navigate to System Administrator responsibility > Profile > System. Search for the profile MO: Operating Unit and under responsibility field, put in the responsibility name you are using for creating the service request, click OK and enter the desired operating unit value in the next window. It pulls up all operating units defined and you can chose the desired one.
    Thanks

  • Local change requests being created for changing package info

    Hi experts,
After a client copy of object into a new server whenever changes are being made to these objects local change requests are being created. i found that the above behaviour is because of the transport layer in the package, which was also copied during client copy, is of the old server. And when that was change to the one available in the new server the change to the package also got created as local change request. Now I wan this package to get transported to quality from development ( where the change was made). Please help.

    Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion. I Created a Tp copy and included the local change requests in them and gave target system as quality system. There were 2 requests as local change requests, only one of them took the intended change in the quality but for the other the change made in the development system was not refelecting in the quality system.

  • ColdFusion 9 Application Server windows service not being created

I've done multiple installs of CF9, both 32 and 64-bit versions, on Windows 2003 servers and the ColdFusion 9 Application Server windows service isn't being displayed in the Services console.  If I go into the registry under HKLM\System\CCS\Services - I see the key for CF9 App Server was created, but "Description" is the only subkey value that was created.  The .Net Service, ODBC Server, Search Server, Solr Service windows services are being fully created properly.
Can anyone shed some light on why the Application Server service isn't getting registered properly and any possible fixes?
    TIA

Did you check out the ColdFusion Installation Log for any relevant failures?
Any possible firewall or security settings not allowing the ColdFusion installer creating what it needs to create?

  • Unable to Create Service Request Template in CRM

    Hello,
I need to create a service request template in crm web ui,
    Following are the steps followed.
I have identified the transaction type as SRQT screen shot attached below
However when I click on on the work center link groups of the service pro role, I am not able to find the same for the service request template
As per the post below it says that you need to go navigation bar profile and add the SM-SUPPORT work center and the work center link group as SM-SRQT-CR
How to customize service request templates
The error appears when I try to add the logical link id,
Because of the above error I am not able to create service request template in sap crm, please advice which logical link ID, I need to use so that the service request template can be created in the system.
    Kind Regards
    Atul

    Hi Atul,
    1. Screen shot 1 is correct
    2. Screen shot 2 - You are at end of all work centers in your custom role which you might have copied from standard or Z role. If you look in standard role SERVICEPRO, navigation bar profile SRV-PRO, work center - SRV-ORD, you will find service request template
In Cases work Center in standard SERVICEPRO role you can create service request template.
Try copying this to your custom role in your required work center. It should work.

  • Outbound E-Mail when creating a Service Request

    Hi.
I am trying to set up a scenario where an outbound notification email is sent out when a Service Request is created. I have created the email FORM in WEB UI but was wondering how to trigger the email sending process (I am looking for the best practice).
A possible option could be to create an action that is triggered when the Service Request is saved but does the standard action work with a "email form" created from WEB UI (as far as I know it works with SMARTFORM) or do i have to code the whole logic myself:
    -Get the template.
    -Convert it to html.
    -Populate data.
-Build email body and so on and finally send email and attach it to the Service Request.
I wonder if there is standard functionality for this.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Best regards.

    Hi,
If you are on CRM 7.0 sending e-mail when service request is saved is a standard functionality. Use Rule policy with Intent Driven Interaction context.
    1.  Create New policy and add your Business Role at the header.
    2. Add IC Events 'OrderSaved' at the header.
    3. Create Rule as follows:
Condition  -    If Current Event Equals Order was saved
Action      -    Send Out-Going E-Mail Using Mail Form
                                                         E-Mail Subject 'xxxxx'
                                                         Sender's E-Mail Adress 'email id'
                                                         Mail Form 'ZMailform'
Note:1. Make sure that your mail form has the attribute service request tracking text is inserted. You can see the service request tracking text attribute when you create the mail form in the Attribute Context 'ERMS
            2. Make sure that your service manager profile has the your IDI policy assigned.
            3. Your CRM 7.0 is on SP04 or above.
Let me know if you have more queries.

  • SAP Cloud For Customer : Integration of Service Request to CRM  Issue

    Hello Team,
We have CRM integration using HCI working for most of the standard objects running. But for "Service Request" we are not able to see replication initiating from C4C to CRM. We have setup the required Communication Arrangement and artifact on HCI. Ping test gives 405 error which is as expected. But when we save the new ticket replication to CRM is not initiated.
Kindly throw some light on this so as to understand why this replication is not initiated.
Please let me know if any configuration missing to replicate "Service Request" from C4C to CRM.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mithun

    Hi Ravi,
We are not getting any messages under "Business Communication Monitoring" and web service messages monitoring.
Can you please suggest me which are the all configuration/activities require in cloud for customer for "Service Request".
We have maintained the Transaction Type for "Service Request" in Code List Mapping too, however we are clueless where we have to maintain the "Item Category" for "Service Request" and map to which standard "Item Category" in cloud.
What is the initiate point to trigger the "Service Request" from C4C to CRM?
    Many Thanks,

  • Create Service Request with Category Level4

    Hi,
I am trying to create service request from Legacy system by calling SSC_SR_CREATE.
I am not sure on how to fill in the category level 4 data in IT_SERVICE_OS.
I have tried passing following fields in this structure.
    SUBJECT_PROFILE
    ASP_ID
    CAT_ID
    KATALOG_TYPE
Service request gets created successfully however on UI I cannot see category data filled at all.
    Plz Help!!!

    Hi Joaquin,
Thank you for answering. I already tried: I select the line with the email in the Inbox, I press Interact (the account is automatically recognized and I am asked to confirm it), I confirm the account and then I navigate to "Service Request" workcenter: a new Service Request is displayed, with the employee responsible and the customer automatically filled. However, I can see no data regarding any attached email in any of the Service Request tabs (even if I save or select "End").
After your answer, I tried the same procedure with the "Service Ticket" and noticed that the email is correctly displayed as an Interaction Record under the Business Content tab for the Service Ticket: since you confirmed that this should work also for Service Request, I guess there's something wrong in my customizing settings and now I will search for errors.
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards,
    Laura.

  • Service Requests not resolving

    Good Morning TechNet Experts,
I have been having an issue with service requests and I'm one week away from deployment. Basically, I had no need for a "Review" activity, we implement service requests the same way we implement incidents. An analyst opens a ticket for customer,
once service has been applied they should resolve the service request. With incidents this is easy, you just change the incident status to resolved...
However, with Service Requests I created a new template that did not require the "Approval" activity, only the "Apply Service" activity. My Idea was when an analyst is finished with the ticket, he/she just marks the "Apply Service"
activity as completed and the service request can move to "Completed" status.
Although the activity is being marked as completed, the ticket is not changing status. Some are stuck in "In Progress" and some are stuck in "New" status (even though the activity is showing as completed....). These have been stuck for
more than 24 hours now... when this actually goes into production a week from now even 5 minutes is a long time.
What can I do to solve this? I am open to implementing a new procedure if required. Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
First of all, it looks like you are having an issue with your workflows. Please restart the HealthService (Microsoft Monitoring Agent) and check if the workflows restart. Do other workflows run (e.g. notification subscriptions)?
Secondly, if you are using service requests with only one manual activity, I believe the handling is a little bit complicated for your analysts. Why don't you remove all activities completely from your SR template? The service request will then go to status
"Submitted" once created, and the analyst can use the task "Complete" to complete the SR without having to worry about activities.
    HTH,
    Dieter

  • Service Requests in E-Service - Change the status of a request

    Hi All,
We had setup a ICSS B2B web for return order management.
We have a requirement that once the service request is created by the User "Customer service representative" he should be able to manually change the status of the request in the web such as " In process" ->"Rejected" or "Approved" ->"Completed.
Please advise on how to proceed with the above requirement.

    Hello Yves,
    Thank you for this information.
I'd like to tell you that, we are using a shared transport directory and the transport management system is configured properly.
But I think that, changing the status of the transport requests (the field IMPFLG) in the table TMSBUFREQ would be a possible solution, although I'm not sure, if this is the right way.
What I intend to do is the following: change the field IMPFLG ("tp Import Flag") for the transports, which have been already imported, but appear in the import queue with the status "Request waiting to be imported" .
At the moment the field IMPFLG of these transports is set to "1" ("Request waiting to be imported") and I'd like to change it to "2" ("Request already imported") .
Would it work like this? Will the correct status of the transport requests be displayed in the TRX STMS?
Thank you in advance for your help.
    Kind regards,
    Noémi

  • Issues with Simple Lists in service requests

We are using Service Manager 2012 and have run into a problem with simple lists within the service requests we created.  We believe the issues started after we upgraded to Service Manager SP1 and Silverlight 5.1.  What happens is you can select
one of the options in the simple list, but if you decide to change back to the original option, the system won't allow it.  In the case where there might be three options in the simple list (i.e. New, Change, Delete), you can select each one once, but
if we try to change it back to any of the other options the system won't allow it.  We tested all of this before going live and everything was working, but just before we went live SP1 came out and so we elected to upgrade to it first.  We then needed
to upgrade to Silverlight SP1 to work with Service Manager SP1.  We retested all of our service requests again just before going live, but didn't think we needed to go through every simple list so we didn't retest this.  Since then the simple lists
are problematic.  Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a fix that will correct this issue?

    Yes!
We submitted a business impact statement back in February and after pushing them on a weekly basis, we finally received word that we will be receiving a hot fix next week.  Until we actually receive the hot fix and confirm that it works, I will wait
to post another update on this.
With that said, they came up with a temporary workaround about 2-3 weeks ago.  This is the message regarding the temporary fix that we received from the engineer that has been working on the issue:
After doing code review I identified the regression was introduced in the binaries that are included as part of this Silverlight XAP file:
RequestOfferingSilverlightModule.xap. As we discussed on the phone going back to the pre SP1 version means you will lose any enhancements/fixes that were introduced in SP1. Looking at the Change history for this module I only see two changes
that were introduced in SP1 and those changes are as follows:
The text field control only shows the first three lines.
Hierarchical support for List Items in Portal
To confirm my findings I replaced this XAP file with a pre SP1 version and I couldn’t repro the issue in my lab. I also confirmed implementing this module I lose the
above fixes that were introduced in Sp1.
To implement the workaround, please follow the below steps:
Connect to the Web Content Server,  locate the following directory:
    C:\inetpub\wwwroot\System Center Service Manager Portal\ContentHost\Clientbin
    Rename the following file RequestOfferingSilverlightModule.xap
    to RequestOfferingSilverlightModule.xap.org
Copy the attached file RequestOfferingSilverlightModule.xap to the folder:
    C:\inetpub\wwwroot\System Center Service Manager Portal\ContentHost\Clientbin
Restart IIS by issuing the following command at the command prompt:
    iisreset
Clear the client side cache and see if you can reproduce the issue.
Once confirmed the issue doesn’t reproduce, please proceed with testing all scenarios that make use of the Self Service Portal.
If you don't have the pre SP1 version of the file I'm sure you can get it from Microsoft.  We are not using hierarchical lists so the temporary fix is currently working for us without any issues.

  • Service Request Aging Question

    Here is my issue:
Service request is created in call center say 01/01/2009, the call center agent may need to request additional information before putting the SR in a queue to be worked.
Person calls back, additional information is added to request on 01/05/2009 and the ticket is assigned to Department A's queue.
Department A now has a SR that is 5 days old, when in fact they just received it.
If I run a report on 01/06/09 I need to be able to show that ticket as being 1 day old in the queue of Department A, but 6 days old over all. I cannot figure out how to show this in the output.
Is there anyway to report on the audit trail, or report at what point the queue value is changed?
    Thank you for your time.
    Jamie

When Department A gets the case transferred to them why don't u create an automatic task that would show when the case got transferred and then build the report of the SR-Activities section.
Another way would be to populate a date field automatically when the case is transferred. But this may not be a viable solution as you may have a number of Departments and it s not good to create a field for every department.

What you can do within the application is have a report/dashboard to highlight the SRs that are over their planned SLA, but the user will have to be in the application to see it.
If you want a time based WF, it currently is not available within R16, but you can write a relatively simple WS in combination with an integration event to solve this issue.
