Setup tables : datasource contains data still to be transferred

Hi,
When I run setup tables for orders, system collects only around 1000 records & says :  DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR contains data still to be transferred. I ran it for a few no of times but still I get the same records & Same msg. Can U suggest how to collect all the records. I am not concerned abt down time .
Thanks in advance,
Kishor M.

Hi Kishore,
These are t.codes for filling SD setup tables.
T.code : OLI7BW   For Orders
T.code : OLI8BW   For Delivery
T.code : OLI9BW  For billing.
Using above T.Codes we can restrict data based on Sales org & Company code & Document wise.
For filling setup table following fields are mandatory.
Name of Run
Termination date & time  :  Date & Time, up to which the run is carried out.
Thanks,
Vijay Sekhar Reddy.

  • How to fill setup table based on date???

    Hi Experts,
I need to do repair full request for 2lis_11_vaitm datasource, I want to load from 1st Apr 2008 to 31st March 2009, but in OLI7BW t-code i am unable to find date field in selection screen.
    1) How can I fill setup table based on date?
    2) In RSA7 containing records even though  is it possible to fill setup table ?
Helpful answer will be appreciated with points,
    Thanks in advance,
    Venakt.

    Venkata,
    1) How can I fill setup table based on date?
--> If date not possible then try to setup with available options/characteristics.
--> While pulling into BW, extract data selectively. Give date selection at infopcakge.
    2) In RSA7 containing records even though is it possible to fill setup table ?
--> Yes, you can do it.

  • Extractors/ Setup Tables  for Master Data

    Hi Experts,
I am not sure if the extractor enhancement methods, setup table initialisation for Master Data different from transaction data.
I am trying to do a delta init with initialisation of Setup table (OLI7BW) for 0CUSTOMER_ATTR. And I am not able to see any records in RSA7. Althought RSA3 shows 10 data packets and 1000 records.
    What does that mean.
What I want to achieve is all the records a fresh for a few master data datasources since they were refreshed last month. Since then they were not being used.
Kindly help me as soon as possible.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Priya,
I am not sure if the extractor enhancement methods, setup table initialisation for Master Data different from transaction data. -
For your information there is no conecpt of intialisation for master data.
I am trying to do a delta init with initialisation of Setup table (OLI7BW) for 0CUSTOMER_ATTR. And I am not able to see any records in RSA7. Althought RSA3 shows 10 data packets and 1000 records.
    What does that mean.
As said there will be no setup tbale concepts for masterdata, the changes for masterdata follows the delta pointer concept(i.e whenever changes to standard masterdata table happens the message class trigger the delta pointer for those changed records and post in RSA7).So always u see in RSA7 the changed records for masterdata tables
What I want to achieve is all the records a fresh for a few master data datasources since they were refreshed last month. Since then they were not being used.
i didn't get abt this question can u eloborate

  • How to select data in setup tables based on date

    hello gurus,
I have a question . I want to fill the setup tables but not complete historical data. I need to fill it based on some date selection. Can anyone help me the process. I  went to oli9bw but i cannot see any option like date range for data selection...... i.e., I need to extract a subset of data from ecc to bw.
    Thanks a lot

    Hi Sandeep,
While filling Setup tables we won't have any selection(It loads all historical data), when you run the IP to load data to BW.follow the below 2 cases.
1)If you require further delta loads on this, run the full load based on your date selections.then create another IP for delta, run "init without data transfer" as option in Update tab of IP.
2)If you don't require any delta further, simply run Full load with date selections.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Venkatesh.

  • FM to delete tables alongwith contained data

    Hi,
My requirement is to find out FM and Dictionary objects used in program and to delete it, if not used in other programs.
I am using FM 'RS_DD_DELETE_OBJ' to delete dictionary objects however it does not allow to delete the tables if it contains data (with no_ask = 'X' which prompt for user confirmation). Please provide me the FM/FMs which delete the tables alongwith the contained data without user interaction.
PS: If anyone has program code which retrieve FMs/Dictionary objects used in it, it will be great.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ni3

    Check FM DD_DELETE_TABLE
    Might help

  • Extraction Problem- while filling the setup table

    Hi all,
I have a problem when i  fill the setup table for LO cockpit Extraction on any SD datasources (2_LIS_VAHDR,2lis_13_vdkon etc.,). i am done with LBWQ successfully. i also verified the datasources in RSA6. They are in active status in RSA7-delta queue.
After i submit the request to fill the setup table, i am getting
"datasource 2_LIS_VAHDR contains data still to be transferred". if i check the extract checker (RSA3) i am getting the error msg "data source is not defined in the source system"
Can anybody help me on this?
one of my friend suggested that it could be the reason that some jobs are in active status that loads/updates data into base tables which the datasources refers.
Any idea on the reason and resolutions?
    Greatly appreciated !

    Hi Vijaya,
We too got the same Error : " the datasources are not defined in the source system".
This is source system connection problem.  Check whether connection between R/3 and BW is active.
This error occurs when the connection is inactive.
Also, if it is copy client, then check data exists in other client. If so delete the setup tables data in that client as well.
    This will resolve your issue.
    Thanks

  • Trying to fill setup table for 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL

    Hi
I am trying to delete and fill setup tables for 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL. I go to SBIW, delete setup tables for application component 04 and then go back to fill setup tables. But I get the message "DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL contains data still to be transferred".
    Am I missing a step?
    Thanks
    Pooja

I went to transaction SBIW ->Settings for Application specific datasources ->Logistics->Initialization->Delete contents of setup tables-> Application 04
Then under Initialization I went to Filling in the Setup table->Application specific setup of statistical table ->Production.
I entered the date & time (and entered my own Run name. Should I say new run or rerun or give my own Run name?) and executed the transaction.
Then I got the message - datasource still contains data to be transferred.
    Thanks!

  • Filling billing setup table with documents from a given date

    Hi
I would like to fill the setup table in R/3 with SD Billing Documents which have been created from 01/05-2007 until now. Is this possible somehow?
(SBIW --> Business Warehouse --> Settings for App Specific Datasources --> Logistics --> Managing Extract Structures --> Initialization --> Filling in the Setup Table --> App. specific setup of statistical data --> Perform Setup - SD Billing Documents)
The only fields I see are:
    - Archiving run
    - Sales organization
    - Company code
    - Sales document
    Kind regards,
    Torben

    Hi Torben,
I dont think if you dont have option to see the date to select, probably you wont be able to fill your setup table based on date. Otherwise you can pull in the data from R/3 based on this date restriction in your infopackage after filling your setup table without any restriction.
    Regards.

  • Is it possible to automate the load of setup tables for LIS datasources?

    Hello,
For LIS datasources, eg. 04 (shop floor control), once the production confirmation is done, we have to manually run the transaction OLI4BW to load the setup tables before extracting data to BW. Is there a way to automate the load of setup tables?
    Regards,
    Suraj

    Hi,
    Yes we can !
Create variants for small ranges and scheduled all of them at a time. So that, loading will be completed soon.
    Thanks,

  • Data in setup tables and qued delta

    Hi Samuris'
How can I see  1. the data in setup tables  2. Data in qued delta
3.From which table(in R/3)  the data is extracted when we schedule a IP for a delta.
Do we have any transaction code to view 1,2.
Could anyone let me know exact flow of data when a request is raised from BW.I mean if it is a full load request, from which table in R/3, data gets captured. Also if it is delta load request, from which table in R/3, data gets captured.
    Any help is appreciated,
    Thanks in Advance!
    James

    Hi,
first it depends on the data source....
I guess you are talking about LO DSources.
    1. you can open the table itself (usually MCaax_SETUP, e.g MC03BF0SETUP) but this will be raw data, like in a trfc LUW); otherwise call transaction RSA3 with your LO datasource in full mode and you'll see the data as it will be extracted to BW.
2 call SMQ1, double click MCEX03 for instance, again the queue name in the next screen, you'll see pending transactions (LUWS) to be updated in the BW delta queue, double clicking the TID will lead you to the data in the transaction...
The corresponding table is ARFCSDATA and it is populated when, in our example, a material document is commited.
    3. it depends on your DSource: LO datasources will take their data from ARFCSDATA, other might extract their data directly from several DB tables...
    hope this helps...
    Olivier.

  • DataSource 2LIS_17_I3HDR not loading all order types in setup tables

I am trying to setup data source 2LIS_17_I3HDR.  I have initialized the setup tables and I am only getting 609 records in RSA3.  The problem is that all the records are from only two order types.  I have run the setup table initialization wide open so i'm not sure why the setup table only contains a subset of our orders.
Obviously we have numerous other order types that I am expecting to be loaded into the setup tables (AFIH has around 180k entries).  Where can I configure which orders get loaded into the setup tables?
    Thanks,
    Chris

That is an interesting thread.  I have a few questions though:
-How can I determine which order types are maintenance orders?  When I look at transaction OIOA for Order Type Configuration I see that order category for numerous order types including the order types currently being loaded as having an order category of "30 Maintenance order" so I am unclear which field I need to be looking at for orders because in OIOA I see at least 8 other order types that look identical to the two order types being loaded.  When I look in IW39 I am seeing orders under order types are being loaded and under order types that aren't being loaded
-In the linked thread it appears that the person with the issue was trying to pull detail data without header data.  I believe I am doing the opposite with these orders.  I am pulling the header data first.  Currently when I run 2LIS_17_OPER (I think this is the order detail DS) in RS3 I get no data.  Am I misunderstanding how the PM Order data sources work?
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Setup tables for invoices header data (2LIS_13_VDHDR)

    Hi experts,
I am using 2LIS_13_VAHDR and 2LIS_13_VAITM to transfer data to SAP BW.  Through the t-code SBIW, I I run the job to fill setup tables with invoices data. the job is completed succefully. when I check the extractors in RSA3, the extractor 2LIS_13_VAHDR doesn't bring any data while 2LIS_13_VAITM bring a set of items !!
I m wondering why I dont get invoices header data!
Thank's a lot for your help.
    Abdess,

    Hi,
Did you delete the old initialization request from BW and also delete old setup table.
Because the issue is strange, If you are able to see entries in item then header should also fetch data.
Repeat the steps again if you have time.
Use T-Code LBWG to delete setup table.
    Delete MCXE13 entries in LBWQ.
Use T-Code OLI9BW to fillup setup table for 2lis_13.
    Thanks,
    Shakthi Raj Natarajan.

  • Problem while filling the Setup Table for the DS 2LIS_02_SCL.

    Hi All,
When I am trying to fill the Setup table for the DataSource 2LIS_02_SCL and only for one specific Purchase Order, it is showing me a message like
u201CDataSource 2LIS_02_ITM contains data still to be transferredu201D
I have deleted the Setup Table and I want to delete the entries from SM13, but I do not have Authorization.
Also, here I am trying to fill the Setup Table for 2LIS_02_SCL and not for 2LIS_02_ITM, but the message displayed above is showing as 2LIS_02_ITM DataSource. I think the Setup Table will be same for both the DataSources.
    Waiting for your valuable inputs.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
When you want to fill the setup tables first you need to delete setup tables to avoid the duplicate entires in setup tables ( you can delete the setup tables by using t.code LBWG with application no is 02)
In your case, the data souce is 2LIS_02_SCL for purchasing.
when you want to delete the setup tables by using t.code LBWG with 02 application no it will delete all the purchasing related data from all the data sources like
    2LIS_02_SCL
    2LIS_02_ITM
Before the deletion of setup tables you need to clear the delta Queues and stop the V3 jobs, which loads the data to Delta Queues (RSA7) and Update tables(LBWQ).
you need to run the V3  jobs manually by using LBWE > Job control > and schedule the jobs until the delta queues will get 0 records. that means no data will be available in RSA7 and LBWQ
go to SM37 to see the jobs LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION_02,
once the delta queues gets 0 records by running V3 Jobs manullay.
Then remove the released state jobs > remove from schedule means delete the jobs in LBWE > Go to job control > you can delete the released jobs.
Becuase No postings to be done in application tables, while running setuptable filling you should take some down time to fill the setup tables.( OLI*BW)  *=Application number.
Once you clear the Queues and delete the v3 jobs, then you need to fill the setup tables after deletion of setup tables.
once you fill the setup tables , by running intialization to BW side the delta Queue is formed for the data source in R3 side
Now the postings can be done in R3 side, so you need schedule back the V3 jobs, which you already delted from LBWE to load the data from application tables to RSA7 or LBWQ.
I hope this may help yoou.
    Regards.

  • Setup table and delta mechanisim

    Hi,
Can anyone explain in detail setup table concept in LO extraction and
    Delta mechanisim?
    Sridhar

    Hi
    LO Cockpit Step By Step
Here is LO Cockpit Step By Step
    LO EXTRACTION
    - Go to Transaction LBWE (LO Customizing Cockpit)
    1). Select Logistics Application
           SD Sales BW
                Extract Structures
2). Select the desired Extract Structure and deactivate it first.
3). Give the Transport Request number and continue
4). Click on `Maintenance' to maintain such Extract Structure
Select the fields of your choice and continue
                 Maintain DataSource if needed
    5). Activate the extract structure
6). Give the Transport Request number and continue
    - Next step is to Delete the setup tables
    7). Go to T-Code SBIW
    8). Select Business Information Warehouse
    i. Setting for Application-Specific Datasources
    ii. Logistics
    iii. Managing Extract Structures
    iv. Initialization
    v. Delete the content of Setup tables (T-Code LBWG)
vi. Select the application (01 u2013 Sales & Distribution) and Execute
    - Now, Fill the Setup tables
    9). Select Business Information Warehouse
    i. Setting for Application-Specific Datasources
    ii. Logistics
    iii. Managing Extract Structures
    iv. Initialization
    v. Filling the Setup tables
vi. Application-Specific Setup of statistical data
vii. SD Sales Orders u2013 Perform Setup (T-Code OLI7BW)
Specify a Run Name and time and Date (put future date)
                 Execute
    - Check the data in Setup tables at RSA3
    - Replicate the DataSource
    Use of setup tables:
You should fill the setup table in the R/3 system and extract the data to BW - the setup tables is in SBIW - after that you can do delta extractions by initialize the extractor.
Full loads are always taken from the setup tables
    1. Data Flow
    Relevant T-Codes
    a) Initializtion
LBWE: Maintain Extract Structure, DataSource, Active Status, Job Control, Update Mode
SBIW, then follow tree menu path: Settings for App-Specific DS(PI) -> Logistics -> Managing Extract Structures -> Initialization -> App-Specific Setup of Statistical Data -> Choose XX Application  -> Delete/Fill Setup(reconstructing) Table content
RSA3: Check content of setup table
    b) Delta upload
SM13: Display update table/Extraction Queue content
    RSA7: Display Delta Queue content

  • Delete setup tables

    Hi Friends
We have data sources 2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_CGR, 2LIS_02_SCR and 2LIS_02_SGR activated and up and running delta properly.
Due to some loads failed, we are doing re-init the loads. We are about to delete setup tables for purchase (02) component and refill the setup tables.
If I delete the setup tables for 2LIS_02_ITM datasource, Is it going to delete setup tables for all data sources?
How can i delete and re-fill the setup tables for only 2LIS_02_ITM data source?
    Regards,
    Chama.

Don't worry, it won't affect any delta.
1/ Setup tables affect only Full/Repair Full/ Init Delta loads
2/ Delta queues affect only Delta Loads.
These two processes are separate from each other. The only thing you should worry about is while your setup tables are being filled, no user o remote process creates or modifies any document referring to to your R/3 application, in your case being 02. Because if they do - you'll lose these new or modified docs.
    Cheers.
