SG200-08 all LED blink together.

Hello,
I have a SG200-08 which all LEDs blink together. This happened after a firmware upgrade.
I can not access my switch.
does anyone know a solution for this?
thanks.

Hi
I think the following link will be helpful to upgrade and after upgrading the firmware, reboot the switch to factory default settings. I tried and I was successful, so I though it would be helpful to you.
The following link will be useful while upgrading :

  • PSC 1410 shows E and all leds blinking

    Hi there everyone!
I'm not an english speaker, but I will try to do my best in order to explain myself as clear as possible. This is the fact, I recently acquired a PSC 1410 a year ago. I know the previous owner bought it on 2006 and it was working properly till a month ago when the tricolor cartridge blew up inside the printer, literally. I turned on the printer and it showed me the Error message and all the panels led were blinking. I disconnected it from the wall outlet. So, I disassembled the printer and it was a mess, there was ink all over the interior, including the circuits board. Then I cleaned everything very carefully, and finally I assembled the pieces back together. When I tried to turn on the printer again I received the same Error message and all the leds blinking.
I've been looking for a service manual on the web or something to solve this, but I was unable to achieve my goal. I can not indulge me and buy another printer, I can not reach HP customer service, and nobody knows how to fix this problem here. Moreover I feel like I have a little kind of affection for this appliance.
Now my question: is this problem fixable? Can I fix it on my own?
    Thanks a lot in advance.

All lights blinking on the printer would indicate a fatal error situation. Here are couple of things you can try:
    1) Perform the steps under the section 'All lights are Blinking' in the document below:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c00476152
    2) Follow the steps in the document below to 'Clean the gold-colored contacts in the print carriage' and cartridge contacts.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00094661
Note: Ensure that the printer is disconnected from power while performing the step.
    Hope this helps.

  • WRT120N - Disconnects and all LEDs blinks after firmware update

I have WRT120N, i recently updated the firmware. 1.0.06. only my bad is i done it wirelessly. so its basically interrupted.
I have tried, hard reset and power cycle and reinstall the firmware but still the problem occurs, this time its wired.
it happens intermittently. i have tried pressing reset upon turn on and reinstall firmware on the bootloader. it stablized for a while but then disconnects and blinking stikes again.
is there anything i can do about this?

    Try this:

  • FP-1600 Status LED blinks 17 times.

My FieldPoint bank has 9 modules. I previously had a problem with the FP-TB-10 power and ready lights blinking, but that was because one of my dual-channel modules was not seated correctly. Now the status LED is blinking 17 times. The manual says to contact NI about this. The FieldPoint Explorer seems to find all of the modules correctly, though. Anyone know what's up?

    Aaron,
I checked the firmware and the FieldPoint Explorer version, and I'm using 3.20 and 3.0, respectively. When I power cycle the FP-1600, the 17 blinks of the status LED go away. Communication works, and all of the devices are found. However, communication does drop out from time to time, and eventually the status LED begins blinking 17 times again.
A possibly related issue is that the FP-AI-V10 dual-channel module that I have plugged into slot 2 of the FP-TB-10 base causes the FP-TB-10 to flash its power and ready LEDs. Re-seating the FP-AI-V10 seems to fix this, although the module is definitely already clicked into place when I see this problem. Upon reseating (or just pressing on it without removing the module), the FieldPoint Explo
    rer program finds this module.
I'm tempted to think that this issue with the FP-TB-10 and FP-AI-V10 are unrelated to the FP-1600's status LED blinking 17 times because even with the FP-TB-10 removed from the bank, I still get the flashing LED.
Any ideas? Also, what is a GPF type error?
    Thanks,
    Jake

  • BlackBerry 8110 does not initialize only LED blinks for 5 secs

    Hi all,
I bought a used BlackBerry 8110. It worked fine in the beginning - then during some audio recording I suddenly got an hourglass cursor and the handy was frozen.
Removing the battery - even for 24h - did not help. The moment I put in the battery the LED starts shining for approx. 5-6 secs, then it extinguishs for 2-3 sec, and so on. Thats all what happens. The display remains black.
I also tried to re-install the complete device operating system but without any success. But when installing the OS the  ApploaderWebSL-Upgrade.msi was able to communicate with the handy and determines the installed software components and versions. Also the LED blinking stopped (LED was off) and the Apploader was able to delete all software installed on the device and write the new software. When that finishs and the Apploader tries to initialize (reboot) the handy the blinking described above starts again but the handy (and display) remains off.
Does anyone have an idea what to do ???
    Any help is appreciated !!!
    Thanks a lot,
    Katja

  • PPC MacMini shuts down immediately after boot, LED blinks

A client gave me his PowerPC MacMini which boots up but then shuts down after a few seconds. Unfortunately, there's not enough time to open the system preferences between booting and automatic shutdown.
I've tried to boot the computer from a system DVD and with "T" pressed for target mode, but it always boots up completely from the internal drive. Booting with "Shift" pressed boots in safe mode, but the machine still shuts down after a few seconds.
Interestingly, the power LED blinks about once per second. I wasn't able to find anything about this on the Net.

    AndyO wrote:
If, on the other hand, the mini is starting up, and then failing, and the light isn't so much blinking as pulsing, then the system may be suffering protective shutdown as a result of overheating. That can be tested by seeing whether it runs longer after being left unplugged for several hours, thus being cold, than it does if it's been running (or attempted to be run) for some time, and is thus already warmed. In that event, the mini will need to be disassembled to some extent to try and identify whether the fan is running, the CPU heat-sink is firmly attached and the thermal pad which is squeezed between the underside of the logic board and the base of the system is replaced.
I have a Mac Mini Intel Core 2 Duo that is suffering almost the same symptoms (shut-down almost immediately after startup); however, it DOES appear to be for a variable length of time based upon how much time I let it sit and 'cool' down; therefore, I believe I'm experiencing an over-heating issue.
I've installed a matching 1GB pair of RAM about 1.5 months ago and all has been fine until now. The unexpected (which is now expected) shutdown after startup is occurring on both Mac OS X 10.5.2 and Windows Vista (on Boot Camp partition) ... of particular note ... the Windows side shuts down more quickly (likely due to it not having the same system monitoring/energy handling tools that would be available to the Mac OS X side ... so I would suspect it to over-heat sooner on the Windows side).
Successfully completed Hardware tests (simple & extended) reported memory and other system hardware was fine. 'Check/Verify Disk' on Mac/Windows side reported no issues with either partitions.
Attempts to reset the PRAM and SMC have not solved the problem.
There was one instance, after startup, that the fan ran at full speed continuously and noticed that the power light was not on at all ... at the time, I was on the Mac startup disk and it stayed up and running for about 20 minutes or more until I decided to shutdown and test the Windows side. Upon restart, the fan did not run continuously, and the Windows side shut-down shortly after start up.
Overall, I'm fairly convinced it is an over-heating problem. If anyone has any ideas or reference material to confirm or how-to-do "the CPU heat-sink is firmly attached and the thermal pad which is squeezed between the underside of the logic board and the base of the system is replaced" that would be greatly appreciated.
I am not ruling out sending the machine into the retailer for servicing/diagnostics; however, if there's a relative quick fix so that I don't have to identify and remove confidential/sensitive info first, that would be preferred.
    Thanks.

  • Mac Mini LED blinks and shuts down at startup, takes 2-3 tries to boot...

I have a Mac Mini PPC 1.42GHz. When i boot it up after non-use (cold), the LED blinks once per second and it boots all the way into MacOS and shuts down several seconds later. It will usually do the same thing the second time around. On third boot its usually fine. Not thinking its related, I have reinstalled MacOS anyways. No good...
    Thanks,
    Rich

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
The flashing LED is usually indicative of a power-on self test failure, normally leading to the system failing to boot at all. Once per second would indicate the system fails to recognize available RAM.
The fact this happens when the system is cold (with an implication that it doesn't happen when the system is warm) might indicate the RAM module is no longer firmly inserted, or that the contact face on the pins has oxidized slightly. In this situation, I'd begin by opening the system and removing and then reseating the RAM - in the G4 minis this is relatively easy since there is only one RAM slot, and it is exposed with just the top of the casing removed.

  • Apple TV LED blinking amber non-stop, no video, no audio

As described in the header, my Apple TV (120GB) has its LED blinking amber non-stop, no video, no audio. It is about 2 months old and I have never had issue with it before.
The manual says this indicates that it is starting up, but I can tell you, it is not starting up.

Is the light only blinking amber? White and amber mean bigger problems. See what apple says.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305099
If all you are getting is a bad booting, try running a diagnostic.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305190
Also, if you give it a reboot (unpluging), leave it unplugged for a good 30 seconds to a minute. I bet there could still be power to the logic board, and you need to let the internal led bleed it dry otherwise the internal memory can cause some problems.

  • 3750 LED blinking

    Hi team,
We have various stacks of 3750 switches and we are facing an issue with blinking LEDs. Basically when you see the switch stack, not all ports that are up and running are blinking.
This is not a major issue to us but I have cleaned the patchroom 2 days ago removing all ports that are down down (notconnect) with a last input date of more than 2 months. However, people complained about lost connectivity the last 2 days.
I am assuming that there may be a bug in the IOS code that states that a switchport is down although it may not be. Find below the show ver output of a stack.

  • No display while caps lock LED blinks

    Hi
    Please could someone help me.
For about 2 weeks now my laptop has refused to display anything. When I turn it on, nothing displays on the screen but the caps lock LED blinks once every 2 seconds. Also the wireless button displays orange light but nothing on the screen.

  • WRT54G2 3 and Internet LED blinking

    I have a WRT54G2 v1 router.
When power is attached the 3 and Internet LED are blinking. None of the other LED's are blinking.
No other cables are attached to the router, just the power cable.
Downloaded the latest firmware, set a static IP address on the laptop, attached a ethernet cable from the laptop to the router but cannot ping or get access to the router to update the firmware.
Need suggestions as to what the 3 and Internet LED blinking means and what else I can try.

Here is the latest and this will be done...
I got back online (without the router, just direct connect to ISP with modem). Did a online CHAT at linksys.com/support. I asked the individual if the blinking LEDs were some sort of diagnostic code. He had never or could not find anything that suggested the blinking 3 and internet LEDs meant anything.
So the Individual stepped me though the following (common set of steps with all I will assume.)
No other cables are plugged into any of the router ports.I tried to reset the router. Held the reset button for 30 seconds... no change in which LEDs were blinking (still the 3 port and internet LEDs). Nothing happens with the power led.
Held the reset for 60 seconds... no change.
Held the reset button and plugged in the power supply, waited 30 seconds to release... no change.
Held the reset button and plugged in the power supply, waited 60 seconds to release... no change.
Asked me to plug in another power supply... could not do that, the router only came with one power supply.
Asked me to connect router to a computer, step through process to setup static ip address.. attempt to ping router... nothing (was not getting a link light on the computer network card.)
Finally said I would have to call customer service to get a RMA.
Called customer service, was told to access the linksys.com/support and use the warranty online system to request a RMA.
Went online, got to the RMA request, wanted a Case #. No one gave me one, had to call back and get one, they had me talk with a technician. Support person wanted me to go through the same process that I had gone through the night before.
Explained that went though it already, they had to talk with a supervisor.
After several minutes came back and gave me a case #.
Back to the online RMA request - case # was not valid.
Called customer service back again, after another discussion, was given a new case #. This person did stay online and waited as I went through each step in the online RMA process.
SO long story... unit shipped back to linksys, replacement being shipped to me.
(Mod note: Edited for guideline compliance. Thank you for your understanding.)

  • Bricked my touchsmart -tx2 1025dx. Cap/Num lock LEDs blinking once.

Bricked my touchsmart-tx2 1025dx.  Cap/Num Lock LEDs blinking once, so I replaced the processor but the LEDs are still giving me a single blink (processor issue).  Any advice?

    Hey NikosK,
The one-blink code is indicating an issue related to CPU and/or system board (bent pins, etc.). It's possible that the system board needs to be replaced.
Here's a table of all of the LED codes:

Do you know what caused this issue in the first place, before replacing the processor?

  • Pearl Flip wont load - Red LED blinks twice, nothing on screen

My Pearl Flip refuses to load, and the only activity it shows is the red LED blinking twice every few seconds. I have tried the following
-tried reinstalling the two most recent versions of the OS using the Blackberry Desktop Software, but the installation hangs at the point of loading the system software
-tried using the application loader, however the installation hangs at loading the system software
-tried to use JL_Cmdr to wipe the device. As far as I can tell it did not wipe it (although it doesn't really provide any errors either)
EDIT: Should also say Ive tried all the above from multiple computers and using Win7 and XP
What other methods can I try to restore this device? I appreciate any suggestions that might be out there.
