Should my iPhone 1 (iOS 3.1.3) with Bluetooth 2.0 (Handset HSP?) work with wireless earbuds with BT 4.0 and the Headset (and Handsfree, A2DP, AVRCP) protocol? They pair and connect as expected (with a PIN); status bar looks good and shows Bluetooth active, and I even see the iPhone displays the battery levels of the wireless earbuds. But audio always comes out the speaker. (If I plug in wired headphones into the headphone jack then audio comes into the wired headphones, as expected.) I have rebooted the iPhone; I have had it forget about the wireless earbuds, and repaired and reconnected; I have reset all network settings. Thx in advance.
PS: I understand that more recent versions of iOS have a way to choose where audio output goes (speaker, headphone jack, Bluetooth device). Does this older version of iOS? I could not find an option or setting.
I've noticed this lately as well, with my iPhone 4. I couldn't confidently pin it directly on any particular iOS update, but my iPhone used to automatically connect up via Bluetooth with my Prius's handsfree feature, and now it doesn't. I work with a CE-based device at my job, with Bluetooth capability, and I used to test out that feature by having it discover my iPhone. This no longer works either.
What I have found (not really a solution, but it does work and may be a clue for Apple) is that if I simply go to the Settings app then the General -> Bluetooth screen and let it sit there, it will pair right up with my car within a few seconds. Bluetooth is always on, and always says "Now Discoverable" at the bottom of the settings screen.

Bounced song always comes out the same volume
One of my songs is exporting too loud, so I tried lowering the master volume in the mixer but it still results in the same loud volume. What is causing this and how do I fix it? TIA!!!

it seemed to start after i updated to OS X lion.
I have this same issue. When experiencing this issue I connected a wired mouse and selected/reviewed bluetooth device status which showed blutooth devices not connected. Trying to reconnect and/or restart the bluetooth devices (keyboard, mouse, and trackpad) did not work. Only a reboot solves the problem. Reseting the hardware does not prevent this issue.
Apple support informed me that this is a known bug and they are working on it. There is a bluetooth issue with supporting three bluetooth devices that manifests after sleep. My work around was to use only bluetooth keyboard and magic mouse. This solves the problem. After each OS patch is applied (in future) I plan to check and see if the issue is solved. I did not upgrade yet to to patches released in Feb. 2012 - so it might be fixed there (as part of the wifi sleep issue solution). -
rying to get Photoshop CS4 functional with Mavericks and an Epson 3880 printer. CS4 fails to send a file to the print queue. Have reinstalled the Epson 3880 driver for Mavericks. All looks good but no file is sent.
Does anyone know how to fix this?What EXACT version of Photoshop CS4 are you running? You should be on Photoshop CS4 v 11.0.2.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: have Photoshop re-create its own Preferences:
To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (Bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.
Important: If you re-create the preferences by manually deleting the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings file, make sure that you only delete that file. If you delete the entire settings folder, you also delete any unsaved actions or presets.
Reinstalling Photoshop does not remove the preferences file. Before reinstalling Photoshop, re-create your preferences.

I reset network settings on my iPhone. However now it looks as if my iPhone and iPad are no longer linked. They are both connected to my apple account but when I send an imessage from one it is not picked up by the other. What do I do? If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated. Many thanks x
Check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on both your iPhone and your iPad to make sure that the following are all true:
(1) you have selected the same Apple ID on both devices,
(2) you have the same entries checked under "You can be reached by iMessage at:" on both devices,
(3) you have the same entry checked under "Start new conversations from:" on both devices,
and
(4) that the entry checked in #3 is one of those checked in #2 on both devices.
When you say it has affected your iCloud account, what effect has it had? -
"Waiting for iPhone... " alwayz stuck at this stage...Already tried using DFU mode and many times...but always stuck at this stage. However in iphone APPLE LOGO and Status bar is coming but not processing ahead! Even my device is not jailbroken.

I successfully downloaded Lightroom CC. everything looks good, but it will not open. The circle spins about 2 times and then it just stops and I get nothing. I uninstalled and restarted my computer. I downloaded again. Same problem

just bought the iphone 5 and before syncing to my mac i took some photos then finally decided to sync it but it deleted ALL of the photos and videos and replaced them with the old pics i had on my iphone4.. i need those pics please help
Nope.
Did you fail to import them before restoring from backup? If so, then they are gone.
You should import all photos taken with the iphone to your comuter regularly as you would with any digital camera, most especially before any update or restore. -

These are the issues that needs to be resolved:
• Depreciated balance are over stated in Fixed Assets and needs to be adjusted to reflect what is in GL. => I wasn't sure how this was was possible, since I assumed that your Asset depreciation journals in GL were being fed from FA. So if depreciation was thought to be incorrect in FA, its corresponding balance in GL should've been incorrect as well. But I guess that's not the case because your other questions imply that some of these assets were acquired and their might have been some conversion activity involved.
• Fixed Assets mass additions are selecting GL accounts that should not be selected. We need to know how to change the criteria for selection. +=> Check the Asset Clearing and CIP clearing accounts on your asset categories+
Later:
• We need to learn the proper way to convert assets we acquired from acquisition into our Oracle Fixed Assets system, so that depreciation start at the time we acquire the assets. => That is correct, you could change your original date placed in service to the acquisition date as part of conversion and if you have the correct prorate convention, they should depreciate the way you want it to. -

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.

When my wife's Mac Book Pro was being updated to the latest version of OS X the laptop locked up at a grey screen with the Apple icon and status bar.
