Show field transfer reference in A/R Invoice screen

We want to see when an invoice has been paid in the A/R invoice screen. So when you search for the invoicenumber in the A/R Invoice screen it has to show the transfer reference information (table ORCT - TrsfrRef) and the date (table ORCT - TrsfrDate).
For that we are creating two UDF (e.g. Transfer Info and Tranfer Date).
Does someone know what query we will need to 'copy' the transfer reference information (with a formatted search linked to the query) into the UDF.
So when you search for the invoice number in the A/R Invoice screen the query has to find the fransfer reference information and date of that particular invoice.
Our customers always pay there invoices full (so not in terms).

Somehow is doesn't seem to work. I've tried several options but I don't get the information in the UDF.
Before you select the option Refresh Regularly you have to select Auto Refresh When Field Changes and then choose a field. In our case we have selected the field Document Number. Is this correct?
I have solved it and the query works!

    I'm gonna be an *ss and ask why you wanna see the fields of your 9xxx - infotype in SAP IT0795.
    If this is for information purposes, I believe this should be incorporated in reporting and not within master data infotypes.

  • DRQ:Credit Note not based on invoice should transfer reference number to JE

    according to SAP business one system behavior, only those credit notes that based on invoices are able to transfer customer/vendor reference no. field value to reference 2 field in journal entry. I would like to propose to enable AP credit note that is not based on invoice to transfer reference number field to JE as well.

    Even if it is possible, you would be better split the amount to individual credit note.  I have no idea why you need to split line in one credit note.

    In J1IA101 enter the first excise invoice in the releavnt field  and hit enter and once this excise invoice is updated in the tab,excise invoice summary enter the next excise invoice in the same field as before and hit enter.In this manner you can enter as long as the sold to party and Export type are the same.

  • Reference no in Cancel Invoice doc (MR8M)

    When I cancel the invoice document thru tc MR8M, the system is automatically updating the reference number of the invoice document in newly created cancelled document also, my requirement is not to update the same reference number. Please let me know how to achieve this and moreove the reference field is a mandatory field.

    If you use MR8M to cancel the invoice, definitely the cancelled invoice will have the reference number copied from the original invoice. If you don't want it then you have to post the credit memo manually. Post it using MIRO transaction.

  • How to Restrict Return Sales Order with reference to a cancelled invoice

    SAP Standard is allowing to create Return Sales Order with reference to a cancelled invoice which practically should not be allowed.

    Hi Standard Process will not allow to create a Sales Order With Cancelled invoice,
    Kindly go through at Copy Controls
    T.CODE:VTAF
    in that some body might have maintained between S1 invoice to RE Sales Document.
    Remove the settings then u will be not able to create Sales Order w.r.t to Cancelled Document.

    - G005 field status group by Tcode OBC4 in Materials management screen i have make Req. Entry of Purchase order.
    After than when i again run f-48, Purchase Doc. field still not showing. ?????

  • Show field mara-MFRPN in the MP02 without double click

    Anyone know how to show field mara-MFRPN in MP02?
    I know that once we enter the internal material, it will show a list of MPNs, but in order to view the vendor manufacturer part number, we need to double click on each of it. How can we view mara-mfrpn in the same screen, means on the 1st screen instead of double click?

    Check ur pf-status. in that did u give PICK to the functionkey F2 which will enable the db click facility.
    apart from setting the PF-status with PICK (F2) also set the property "respond to double click" for the tablecontrol column in screen painter.
    and u can get the values of the clicked field by GET CURSOR command.
    Also you can refer:-
    double click from table control?
    Doubleclick in Table control

  • Unable to select modem in the "Show" field in System Prefs, Network

    I think I may have asked this in the wrong place before. I really would appreciate any help or advice anyone can give!!
    I've just moved and I'm trying to get the modem there to work with my iBook G4. The modem definitely works and it's all definitely set up (my boyfriend's sorted his out on his PC), just not with my computer.
    In the user guide (from the provider - Tiscali) I'm told to go to System Prefs (fine), Network (fine), select Location as "ADSL USB PPPoE/PPPoA" (fine) but then I encounter a problem - I am told to set the "Show" field just below to the modem name (which comes up in my Network status as "Ethernet Adaptor (en2)", so my computer is recognising it). However, this isn't an option. Also, when I go to the screen where I can prioritise the internet connections (Network Status?? Sorry for not being more specific - I'm at work and on a PC) "Ethernet Adaptor (en2)" is there but grey, as in I can't select it.
    Any ideas what I can do? I've installed all of the CD and did my restarting, I have the modem plugged in and my computer is recognising this, and the people at Tiscali said I'd have to contact Apple for help but I decided to give here a try.

    Please don't misunderstand, but many of the Internet service providers in the UK and much of Europe use USB Modems and they are fair to poor at best.
    Another point of intrest is that all of these same Internet Service Providers also have and offer Ethernet Modems as well as Ethernet Modem Routers.
    I think it must be a cost issue for them. Another point is the technology is exactly the same weather you have a PC or a MAC, the reason they all point the finger in another direction , they have few Mac Techs available, when PC's hold the majority of the market. Another point, you shouldn't need to download there software to make stuff work.

  • Query not showing field discription in another language login

    Hi Experts,
    when i am running query as default language, query output is perfect.
    But when i am changeing language and DE (Danish) at SAP BW login then
    1) query is not showing field description at Selection Screen rather only displaying technical name
    2) at query output there is no report title and column heading
    Please suggest how to set language property for entire query
    i guess system not able to convert language from EN to DE.
    what and where setting need to change

    This why at the beginning of a project you say this is English and all user shave to log in via English or if not then you build into your quote a huge amount for translation
    Have a look at the help files about the translation workbench in BW - it's big and it's a expensive and time consuming thing to do
    The two descriptions are stored in the query element text tables and for info objects in their specific tables- yep I suppose you could hack them - but you may end up causing more problems than it's worth
    If it's a simple case of some queries need translating in a small number of languages then it's as simple as splitting yoru screne into two and loggin in twice one in english the other in the other language - first in RSA1 to change the infoobject and then in query designer (following the key strokes you use in ENglish if you language skills aren;t that good int he other languages)
    The other alternative as mentioned above is using the trsnaltion workbench - but the cleitn will have get the cheque book out as it can be quite a costly exercise

  • Remove pymt blk-Item specified for invoice reference is not an invoice item

    Hi Gurus,
    we have posted the credit note with reference to the invoice which has block set "A" (blocked for payment).
    Therefore credit note has inherrited the payment block from the invoice.
    We have manually removed the payment block from the credit note and clreared it.
    Now when they manually trying to remove the payment block from the invoice, it is issuing the follwing error message:
    "Item specified for invoice reference is not an invoice item"
    Does this mean that we need to set the payment block A to the credit note and then try to remove it from the invoice?
    Please assist.

    This seems to be a configuration issue or you might be entering the wrong details.
    This is a standard transaction. IF you feel there is nothing wrong, then search for OSS notes on http://service.sap.com to see if there is a solution to this problem.

    My goal is to display my desired database column where ever i want to on the report layout.For this Purpose
    I ran the following query
    1.SELECT * FROM EMP WHERE EMPNO='7369' in the Data Model.
    2.I then created a field in layout view and gave field source as EMPNO
    3.On Report Run following error was encountered.
    REP-1213: Field F_1 references column EMPNO at a frequency below its group
