Signing Limits in iExpenses

I am looking for ways to setup signing limits for employees(approvers) in iExpenses. I am aware of the signing limits form but it requires data to be entered for every manager. Is this the only way to do it ? any other suggestions where we can use signing limits for groups of employees?
Regards,
Vinayaka

Hi,
To load any data into forms I use a freeware winparrot .
You have to launch the recorder (It records key and mouse events with screenshots), thereafter it can replay.
I write macros in the test environment (blue forms) and it can recognize the field in production environment (green forms).
After recording you have to insert 2 functions:
To loop: Goto()
To check 'One record saved...' : Ifshape() + move the red square over the expected message
that all.
Hope it helps.

Delphine

  • Loading AP signing limits automatically

We are doing R12 Oracle Financials implementation and we need to load all signing limits for iexpenses. We want to load signing limits based on employee hierarchy information in HR. I am wondering if there are any options other than entering data through signing limits form. If anyone has done similar in past, kindly share your ideas with me.
    Thanks,
    Sailaja

The base table is ap_web_signing_limits_all. I am not aware of an API for loading directly into this table. As mentioned in a prior post, an alternative could be to use AME. You could setup AME to route the expense reports based on runtime expense report attributes using the approval hierarchy. This could save someone from having to maintain the cost center table.

  • IExpense Approval limits

    Hi ,
We are implementing iExpense for our client which has an employee count of 2300 and they don't have a proper approval limits with appropriate signing limits defined so can any one post me some leading practice implemented by clients which would be feasible by an organization which has an employee count of 2300.

One workaround is to enable AME for iexpenses and then write your custom rule in AME to simply look at the PO approval groups.
    Look at
    http://apps2fusion.com/at/49-cp/289-iexpense-implementation-steps
The other approach is to write custom code for inserting records into ap_web_signing_limits. I don't think there is an api for this.
Also you have to keep it in sync with the po approval data. It will not be easy because you have to update ap_web_signing_limits every time approval groups are modified, approval assignments are modified, employee positions are changed, employees are end-dated etc.
    Hope this helps,

  • Q: Questions about iExpense / AP invoice apporval / AME. (11.5.9  & 11.5.1)

    Hi, All,
I have a couple of questions about iExpense / AP invoice apporval / AME.
    (1) In release 11.5.10, If I set profile option [AME: installed] to No,
Can iExpnese has the same behavior as the previous release?
I means that I just define the approval limits in signing limits window without defining any conditions and rules in AME when the profile is set to No.
    (2) If user enables AP invoice approval and set the profile option [AME: installed] to Yes at Applicaiton Level (Payables), Regarding iExpense approval limits, we need to define conditions and rules in AME instead of signing limits in AP. Is it right?
    (Release 11.5.9 and Release 11.5.10)
    (3) I found the profile option [ OIE:Enable Approval Management] in Release 11.5.9, but can't find it
in Release 11.5.10, Is the profile no longer used and replaced by profile [AME:installed]?
Andy response would be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Athena

    1) if you set the profile to NO, that mean you didn`t use the AME. the iEepense used the manager which setup in the employee form .
    2)Yes, I`m sure in 11i10 .
    3) I don`t know.

It would be a real boon to all of Britains UNIX users if anyone could suggest a way forward- as it would appear that the mandated web filing process
is preventing all UNIX and Linux users from filing their compulsory company returns online..
    Thankyou.

I wish to reiterate anonym0u5 concerns for this problem, but it could be a problem with Companies House.
    I did
    acroread -installCertificate -PEM ewf.companieshouse.gov.uk
    acroread -installCertificate -PEM UTN-USERFirst-Hardware
    acroread -installCertificate -PEM Digi-Sign\ CA\ Digi-SSL\ Xp
    acroread -installCertificate -PEM Builtin\ Object\ Token\:AddTrust\ External\ Root
after having clicked the padlock at the top in Chrome and downloaded the certificates. Note the slight difference in file name.
then restarting acroread I get the above (again). So I stop it and do as it says:
    acroread -installCertificate xmlgw.companieshouse.gov.uk 443
    Unfortunately:
The problem still persists. I have written to Companies House:
Filling in my CT600 online and taking advantage of the ability to submit accounts to Companies House, I put in my company number and authentication code but then am presented by the following:
so I save the file, close Acrobat and do as it says:
    nigel@p4dx2:~/Documents/accounts/nsl/certificates$ acroread -installCertificate xmlgw.companieshouse.gov.uk443
    which eventually returns
Do you want to accept and install it (y|n)? [n] y
    Certificate successfully installed.
Then I reopen the CT600 with Acrobat. But unfortunately the same thing happens. What digital certificate is needed? Where can I find it?
I will let this forum know of any response.

Are you using AME for Internet Expense Approval or Supervisory hierarchy.
If using supervisory hierarchy than Signing limits of approving user must be define.

    Hello.
For anybody thats interested please find below the reasons I've found so far for ER's dropping into said status..
ERROR – Pending System Administrator Action
If an employee cannot get their ER approved – check their Cost Code and/or that the approver named is actually an Approver. Also check the person who’s trying to Approve the ER has that particular GL Code in their Payables Signing Limits. Just add, then get ER creator to withdraw and resubmit it. Also check their actual ER lines table. Something must be up. And, of course, their expense Report via Auditor resp.

  • Internet expense report migrate with Project budgetary control

    Dear All ,
Does anyone use Oracle internet expense and enable Oracle Project budgetary control  ?
Casue Oracle Project standard function budgetary controls are not enforced for project-related expense reports
entered in Payables , the expense report amout is not calculated as deduction of project available fund.
for example : create one expense report $100 , complete manger approval and export to Payables .  Project budget $150.
For out client  , the project  available fund should $50 . however , when I create one Procecument $80  and process fund checking . It will  be passed . because system considers the available fund is $150 ( not deduct expense report entry )  . Does anyone have workaround or customization solution ?

I placed an online pre-order for the "guilty gear xrd sign limited edition" for ps3 (sku: 9317061) on 11/20/14. A few days later I needed to change the payment method, but couldn't, so I had to place a new order for the same item on 12/11/14, and cancel the old order. For both orders I selected to have the item sent to Store 513 (Northlake, GA) for pick up.
On the 22nd I received an email stating that the item would be ready for pick on the 23rd, which was the official release date for the game, but when I went to the store to pick the game up it wasn't there and nobody knew what happened to it. While I was still in the store I called the "888 best buy" number to see if I could get any information from them. They spoke to one of the associates in the store, who then told me that they would try to find out what happened to the item, and see if they could order a replacement. They said that they would call me later to update me on the situation, but they never called back. Later that day I called the 888 number again and the person I spoke to was able to contact the store again to try and get the situation sorted out. I was again told that the store would give me a call with more information, but that call never came.
The next morning, 12/24, I received an email stating that the item was going to be available for pick up, and as of writing this the order status still shows "ready for pickup."  This time I called the store to verify, and once again they told me they didn't know where the item was or what happened to it. I then called the 888 number to see if I could get any information from them, but the person I spoke to was rude and barely let me finish explaining the situation. When I was finally able to finish explaining she simply told me there was nothing she could do since the item is out of stock, and I should just cancel the order and buy it somewhere else.
I don't know if the order can be replaced, but I just wanted to know if I could get a more definitive answer from someone about what happened to my item so I can prevent this from happening again.
    Thank you

    Hi kitlink,
Admittedly, I’m not too familiar with Guilty Gear Xrd –SIGN-, but I’ve seen a decent amount of posts about it! I know the Limited Editions of games like this are usually pretty sought after, so I’m very sorry to hear that you may not have received a copy, especially if you pre-ordered. I’m happy to research this and offer an explanation as to why this may have occurred.
Using your email address on file for the forums, I was able to locate your pre-order. From what I can see, the pre-order has been cancelled, which is likely do to you not picking up your copy. Furthermore, it appears the stores in your area may have not received inventory for this title, which is likely due to inventory constraints since it’s a Limited Edition version of the game. When looking on BestBuy.com, I do also see the Limited Edition is sold out.
Again, I sincerely apologize if you pre-ordered and didn’t receive a copy. We do our absolute best to fulfill all pre-orders placed with us, but, there may be times where constrained inventory may result in some pre-orders not being fulfilled.
Please feel free to send me a private message via the link in my signature if you have any further questions here and thanks for posting on the forums.

I received a text today while at work about iCloud keychain verification code. I have not signed up for it or anything that uses it. I work out of the city with limited internet access so not sure why I would be getting this. I only got this number about a month ago. Apparently someone else had the number before because I get texts from his family members wondering whats going on. I got one yesterday and the person didn't seem to thrilled that the number was cutoff and today I got 2 texts about iCloud Keychain which I don't even know what it is. Seems suspicious to me. If the person who use to own the number is doing it he should know it is not his number anymore because he obviously didn't pay his bills.  I'm not too sure about iCloud Keychain so just want to know my info safe?? It says it can store credit card numbers which is what gets me worried. Frankly I think it's pretty stupid to save that kind if information with any kind of app. But I don't want some random person trying to access my personal information because they are bitter they lost their number.  Please let me know as soon as possible so I can change passwords or anything that is needed.
    thanks

If it were me, I would go to my carrier and get a new number. Since you have only had it for a month, the inconvenience would be minimal.

With versions earlier than 11, there is no more Sign In. If you get any message to that effect, ignore and cancel out of them. You should be able to move forward to your import, editing, and exports using the program nonetheless.
As for the disc menus, those marked photoshop.com plus members only are no longer available to you in versions of Premiere Elements earlier than 11. You may see the thumbnails for those members only items, but they are no longer available to you in Premiere Elements earlier than 10.
Interestingly, many of them are found in Premiere Elements 11, 12, and 13 as part of the program with no need to purchase them or have any special membership in anything. Adobe has promoted Adobe Revel as a replacement for photoshop.com, but that has no impact on this disc menus issue.
This all has to do with Adobe discontinuing photoshop.com and photoshop.com plus et al.
If you need to download regular disc menus for Premiere Elements 10, please review the following
ATR Premiere Elements Troubleshooting: PE 7, 8, 9,10: Content Download
    Bottom lines:
    1. No more Sign In for Premiere Elements 10
    2. No access to photoshop.com plus (members only) disc menus
Any questions or need clarification on anything written, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Thank you.

  • Limited connectivity/Yellow Caution sign when connected.

    Hi,
I am using the cisco linksys E1200 WiFi router.
when ever I connect my laptop to WiFi, its show Limited connectivity/Yellow Caution sign when connected.
I try to reconfigre it & also in factory default mode it show same.
    Please help me.
    Regards,
    Milan Verma

    Hello Milan,
The E1200 router is a Cisco home product, the question may be better suited here-
    http://homecommunity.cisco.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/bd-p/Wireless_Routers
A couple things you can try to check-
If you connect your device directly to the router, do you have the same problem?
When connecting wireless, what IP address do you receive (169.254.x.x or 192.168.x.x)?
Are you connecting to the correct wireless network?
When running the connectivity diagnostic tool, what does your computer report as a problem?

  • I bought a 1:1 training package for one year. I'm trying to sign up for multiple training at multiple stores. Is one limitation the fact that you can't book a second group or open training until you have finished the first one? Even if it's different stor

    Hi Everyone:
My name is Mark. I'm new to the Mac World. I purchased a MacBook Pro with Retina Scan, as I'm going to make multi media self help books (I'm an author and psychotherapist). I have been getting a number of inconsistencies in answers to the same questions.
1 - Can I do a 1:1 by phone? When I bought my 1:1 the salesperson told me yes.
Now I find out the answer is no.
2 - I've started signing up for group, individual, and open training.
It seems that I cannot sign up for a second one until I have taken the first of any of these trainings.
So if I want to sign up for 3, 1:1's in 3 different stores, on 3 different days I can't (if I read the terms and conditions properly.) until I have my first 1:1, open, or group training.
I was told when I purchased my 1:1 that I could have as many trainings as I wanted to, and as much as I wanted. I could even spend a whole day going to different training at the same store on thew same day.
Have others found inconsistencies in what you are told by sales people and what the rules are?
Thank you for any help you can give me.
    Mark Dworkin LCSW P.C.

    1) The One-to-One program is in person in an Apple Store. I've never heard of any phone-based training. Perhaps the salesperson was confusing that with AppleCare which extends the phone support on your product.
    2) Here is the relevant part from the official terms:
Members may have no more than one (1) Personal Training, one (1) Group Training and one (1) Open Training session reserved at any given time. After the completion of your session, you may schedule your next.
    http://www.apple.com/retail/learn/one-to-one/terms.html
If the saleperson gave you incorrect information that makes the One-to-One service unusable, talk to the store manager and tell him or her what information you were given incorrectly, and ask about a refund of the cost of the program.
    Regards.
