Sims 2 always playable?
hey everyone. i just found my sims 2 disc for mac that i've been looking for since like forever. i installed it and everything and it works and stuff. but i was wondering if there was any way i could possible create an iso using disk utility or something like that to make it so that i dont have to have the disc in? like so that i mount like the disk image without the disc. if someone could give me a step-by-step that would be great. any input is appreciated.
i don't know if this will work but it worked for a buddy of mine on his old age of empires ll game (not lll however)
open disk utility and select ur disc when it's in, then in the top bar select new image. Then it should mount, hopefully this works

Insert a SIM card.
If one is already inserted, remove and re-insert.
If the problem continues, replace the SIM. -
Roughly every other day my 16gb Iphone 4s comes up with the message "invalid sim" always around the same sort of time (7pm - 8pm)
ive replaced my old micro sim i made myself, which i used in my 2 previous iphone 4's and they worked perfectly, without a problem,

i have contacted 3 online and also been into a 3 store they tried mysim in their handset and it worked but when on of the workers tried theyre sim it said "no service" as usual? they said the phone reads the sim because it asked for the workers sim code?

If you have and the error is still occurring the a hardware issue most likely exists. -
I have updated my iPad 3 and iPad air to the latest update iOS 8.02 sinice a week ago. The iPad 3 is okay while the ipad air is having problems. Firstly it randomly auto reboots and apps auto shuts as well. Secondly the 'No Sim installed' always appears while using the iPad. Anyone having the same problem please advise how to solve these problems. Thanks.
Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use the wall-mount charger that came with the iPad and charge overnight. Do NOT use an iPod/iPhone charger. Do NOT use a computer's USB port. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter.
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem. I am stating, however, that we don't yet know. If the above test does, in fact, indicate a problem, read this.

Use Your iPad Regularly
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge. -
i have just downloaded a new version of Iphone software on my iphone 3 . but i'm facing problem in configuring it . also tried to configure it with itunes but it always says that there's no sim card in your phone and previously i was using same sim without any problem . need solution . kindly help .

Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.

I do have this problem with new Ipad3.
I used Ipad 2 3g with mtnl,Mumbai as carrier. The sim I used have not given me any problem as my Ipad immediately recognized and connected me to internet.
Recently i purchased I pad 3 3G. I have inserted the above micro sim to this ipad. It always gave this message as " Invalid Sim".I have the the following to correct the problem
Put the correct APN under cellular data.There is no need of user name or pass word
Restarted my I pad after putting the APN
Taken out the sim from the tray and reinserted it later.
Checked whether I got the latest carrier version
Turned off wifi
Switched on and off cellular data
I know that the sim is not locked because the same sim is working in my telephone as well as ipad2
Now the SOS to my community members please....Oh friend. Now I am totally disappointed with this big purchase. My connectivity is now limited with wifi only.(till my operator starts 4G service).

my contacts list always reverts to SIM and Phone, despite me frequently selecting just Phone. Is there any way I can lock it onto just SIM or Phone?

i am not using 6280.
i am just saying from my experience by using 1100.
if you have any other unwanted sim then you can delete all the contacts from phone by single click.
else you want do delete each one by selecting one at a time.
while selecting an entry you can identify the entry in phone or in sim by the simbol on the corner of the screen(expecting so).
not yet satified pls conatct personaly someone who is using the same phone or nokia dealer.

Since I installed Lion I can´t make Backups on my airy 1 TB Disc....there is always standing "Bachup wird vorbereitet (Backup is being prepared)"...I also can not play Sims 3 any longer...what should I do?

First step would be to go to your wireless carrier and get a new sim.
If that does not work, post back with the exact wording of any error
messages you get when new sim is in the iPhone. Also post what
it says when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier.
