Since latest update to 6.1.2 no possibility to switch on Wifi on Iphone 4S, tried all suggestions even hairdryer and all hocus pocus but no result. Someone has updated solution on today 11 march 2013 ?
It started with difficulties to catch wifi connections around and the wifi connection in my place..... then the switch on to Wifi just blocked -
once i've tried the solution with hairdryer and it worked for a few days, according to some suggestions the Iphone would be sensitive on
temperatures.... Meanwhile i have tried many resets, all kind of suggested combinations but so far nothing works. Its only with 3G i can
survive.... Do someone has updated solutions please ? Why Apple doesnt open any communication about this problem ? I suppose a new
upgrade must be in preparation to bring solution to this very annoying bug.

There was some updayts for my iPad 4 automatically downloaded. After installing it, the iPad began to restart itself every few minutes.
I tryed to update my iPad using iTunes. After connecting to MacBook Pro, where is installed all latest software, iPad is recognised as "iPad", Serial Number: n/a. iTunes run recovery mode, trying to restore iPad firmware, and in the end unknown error occured (3). Tried many times, not results. And now iPad stays only in recovery mode, can't switch it off. How can I solve this problem please?When I restart my iPad the connect to iTunes comes up and stays on until it shuts down again, I have read a report from Apple support suggesting I reinstall iTunes so I might try that again and also your suggestion which i shall also try, but thanks again - rg1547

I have been allowed to unlock my iphone recently by AT/T.
I want to keep my existing ios (5.0.1) as it is on my iphone now.
I've been told to back up and restore by itunes but I am worry of updating my ios to the latest version automatically.
Please let me know how to keep the existing ios during the unlocking process.

MohsenRestoring your phone, as is required to complete the unlock of your phone WILL update your iOS to the most current version. There's no way around this.
Either you keep 5.0.1 and a locked phone, or you get 6.0 and an unlocked phone. Your choice. -
when I sync my iphone it says that there is newer version of the software but when I click the 'update' button I am told that 'itunes' is the latest version? There seem to be a few apps that are not compatible with my phone and I am wondering if that is because it is not up to date or beacuse it is a 3gs?

I recommend no less than 2GB's of RAM. There is no download for SL, you must purchase from Apple, $29 at any Apple store. Leopard is no longer sold by Apple. About the only place you can find a retail disk is eBay, however the prices are getting ridiculous. -

I assume you mean the Nikon D810 because D800/800E support has been there since Lightroom 4.1
Currently, because it is a new camera (D810) the only support is in a RC of ACR 8.6 for Photoshop CS6 and CC, as the RC runs out on 31 August it is expected support will be there in the next dot release of Lightroom.
Current limitations are that only full sized NEF is supported.
If you wish to import to Lightroom 5.5. you will need to download the DNG Converter v8.6RC and convert the NEF files (full size RAW ony) to DNG then import into Lightroom 5.5 -
I have an old iPhone 3Gs with software version 4.3.5, I am trying to use it again, and it works fine, but I have not been able to update the software. Every time I try, I get the following message:
"there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone, the network connection could not be established". This happens even though I have a working internet connection.
Besides that, all the other functions work properly, even synchronize apps and library.

A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete. -

I just updated my iTunes and now all of a sudden my iPhone is not syncing into iTunes. When I plug my iPhone into my computer, a thing pops up on my iPhone saying "Do you trust this computer" and I press "Trust" but it still doesn't do anything.
Sorted it out. WHAT THE HECK! eversince I updated my itunes... My laptop keeps on crashing, i try to change the volume on itunes and it doesnt even move, and I quit Itunes but apparently it won't ever quit... I lost all my paper work cuz it crashed 4 times this week.
Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall for the network problem.
Also for the original problem try the following if Ana's suggestions does not work
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

This not the first time I have had frustrating problems with the Apple system. Perhaps someone could suggest a more reliable system to switch to. Someone with a better troubleshooting system.Going all the way back to Firefox 3.0.5 is shear foolishness, it is 14 security versions behind the last 3.0.19 release. And that version is missing at least a dozen security updates that were applied to the 3.5 and 3.6 versions after support for 3.0.x ended.
If you are not happy with Firefox 4, you should have installed Firefox 3.6.17. That is very similar to the 3.0 and has all the security fixes that have been released since support for Firefox 3.0.x ended last year. -
Hi there!!...my ifone4s is no longer producing sound of any description with the exception of the earphone jack!!! I am running iOS 6.1.3....i have tried reset,restart and restore----no joy....i have cleaned the dock port and speaker and mike area ----no joy! Now my question,,,is this a hardware malfunction or a bug from the iOS???..this is a replacement fone (march 2013) my previous fone suffered a wifi antennae breakdown after an iOS update!!,,,covered under warranty...this fone is now given trouble,,is this fone covered under warranty surely li should get more than three months outta my new fone - no???...any advice or help from anyone will be greatly appreciated especially as regards warranty...thanks in advance for looking...

This is what happened when the phone was syncing. It only allowed the "option" to restore after that. Just like my original message to you, all of it disappeared when trying it resolve and discover what was the error. I had not clicked on either helpful or correct answer and when I explored what they were I got the same result. I am person that uses my apple products in limited ways as I need them. It is this type of frustrating result that keeps my use limited. -
