Since updating OS X my Sonus system cannot talk to the mac hence I have no music. Otherwise the Sonus work fine so it must be the update - can anyone help?
OS X update appear to have cut out my sound system!
It may be best to recreate the folder and the smart playlists from scratch.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

When you say reset, do you mean a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignoring the red slider if it appears?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Using Image Capture as a scanner:
Connect the scanner to your Mac whether Wi-Fi or USB.
Launch Image Capture.
Click the very small black box bottom right side of the Image Capture window.
You'll see this pop up menu: Connecting this (device) opens:
You can select a default app to scan (Image Capture) and select a folder from the Imort To pop up menu on the right to save scanned files to. -

Hi Eric, it is Safari but I thunk I've solved it by dragging the autofill into the safari toolbar and clicking on it when I want to use the fearture. Nothing else worked. this OS is a crock as far as I am concerned.

I have a new mac powerbook pro OS X 10.8.1 and cannot connect to my canon 6000B printer - the printer appears in the printer list but will not install and I can't find a driver on the net - does anyone know what the solution is?

System Information is located in Applications > Utilities. It shows lots of information about your Mac, including information about the printer queues.

In previous versions of OS X you did see this information via the Options & Supplies pane for the selected printer in Print & Scan. But with 10.8 this information was removed so know you need to use System Information > Printers to see information about an installed printer.

I believe that the document does not print because the print queue has not been created correctly. The CAPT driver requires a specific queue name and if the queue name is wrong then you will not be able to print.

Not surprised to read that. Mtn Lion has caused some issues for owners of CAPT printers, especially if they upgraded to 10.8 from 10.7 or 10.6.
Since you mention the ability to print on 10.5, I just want to check that you are physically moving the USB cable connected to the LBP from the 10.5 Mac to the 10.8 Mac, rather than sharing the printer from one Mac to the other. Because if you are sharing the printer from the 10.5 to the 10.8 Mac then this can be a cause of your current issue. The CAPT driver does not work when it is being shared to other Mac's. -
My iphone 5S all of a sudden has went to shutdown mode and when i restarted it; The touch ID button wont work and it won't even give me the chance to re-add a new finger print, I tried updating the new 8.1.3 Update the day after but it keeps telling me that the update has failed, I've also tried restore to factory settings but it didn't work even in the recovery mode, Can anyone please help?

I am using elements 11, windows live mail 2012 on a windows 8.1 PC. When trying to attach an elements 11 image to an email via the sharing option in Organizer, I get a message that the email message cannot be completed, and to try Adobe mail. I have set preferences to windows live mail, but no success.

With Windows 8, the new message sometimes hides in the taskbar
When you see the spinning circle, look at the taskbar to see if the Windows Live Mail has grown another task. Hover over the icon on the taskbar to shown the two images, right click on the right hand image and then select maximize. That should show the message ready for sending.
