Site Url is not properly formed in Powershell?

Hi,
I've been trying to add files to a site on SharePoint Online via PowerShell
$SiteUrl = Get-SPOSite https://company.sharepoint.com/site1
However, every time i run the script i get this error:
Get-SPOSite : The site https://company.sharepoint.com/site1 is not properly formed.
I have connected to sharepoint with the Connect-SPOService command correctly.
What is wrong with the url?

I would attribute this behavious to the SSUrlMap filter - which has the job of turning the friendly URL's into SS_GET_PAGE service calls. Apparently the way it parses the URLs and looks for the patterns does not consider these characters.
Is it actually a problem?

Cloud Service Site Url DNS not resolving

I have a site published to Azure Cloud Services that is running, and accessible via VIP. I cannot access the site via Site Url, even after flushing my local dns, or trying on different devices. In my browser's debugger, I see that DNS resolution
fails in the first step of the web request.
I am relying on the site url for CNAME records - I cannot use the VIP.
What would be causing this? What can I do about it?
Also - if I run whatsmydns.net to query CNAMEs against the cloudapp.net address, I get nothing, but A records are resolving to the VIP.

Did your make sure your CNAME is valid? I suggest you could use some DNS tool to query it and check it.
If your dns name is valid, I suggest you could follow tutorial (http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/develop/net/common-tasks/custom-dns/ ) to step by step.

Mapping a CASE constraint gives error:The expression is not properly formed

I am hoping someone can help us with this as we cannot find it in the usual places:
I have the following WHERE clause in my query:

We are unsure how to map the CASE expression and where it is meant to go. Possibly in the join ? Or expression compaonent. Problem is that both do not allow for CASE statements.
Please advise.

Please can you clarify this because I am unsure where the expression operator would go in my example. You see, the CASE is seperate for each part of my clause and the CASE is what gives the left hand side of the WHERE statement in each line whereas the right hand side is written outside of the CASE.

My Mac desktop says URL is not properly scripted. ??

After dragging the icon into the app. folder and then dragging it onto the dock, it says that it can't open it because of an incorrect URL or the way that the URL is composed. ??

What icon? Firefox? Try downloading the disk image file again. Get Firefox here:

Sometimes when firefox loads a web page the error message comes up stating The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded. And I know this is a valid web site. What gives?

This happens very often. When I open Mozilla sometimes I get an error stating that "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded." When I click ok the site stops loading and the tab is titled untiled.

firefox v 3.6.13 is what I use. If I select something from "read Later" or a link from the home page to another site, I get that message - The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded. in a box that pops us a couple of times, then the site I want.

I get continously "THE URL IS NOT VALID AND CANNOT BE LOADED" whereve I am, my homepage or sites I have been using always

Since I downloaded the last Firefox version 3.6 15, no matter where I am, I am back in my homepage and I get the message "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded", usually I can go back to the site I was in and keep doing whatever I was doing, but often it will happen again.
This is happening in both my computer, laptop and desktop, one has windows XP, the other one has windows 7.
Suggestions? It is becoming a nuisance being moved from the tab I am, and kicked back to the homepage tab

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Hitting submit on th eparameter form causes the requested url was not found

Hi,
I'm using reports 6i patch 10 on a Oracle 8.1.7.4 , all of it is installed on a windows xp system.
When I try to run one of my own reports through the web (still staying on the local machine) this works well for displaying the parameter form.
Hitting the submit button on the parameter form causes
Error: the requested url was not found, or cannot be served at this time
Oracle Reports Server CGI- reports server name is not specified
But the server name is in the command line
When I run the same report with paramform = no and specifying the required parameters in the command line everything runs well.
When running the supplied test report everything runs ok, with and without the parameter form.
Any idea what's going on?
Do I need to give more detailed info?

Running it the way you specified it works well, also with keymap everything is ok then.

As above, the bar across the bottom, which shows the URL, the "lock" symbol on secure sites, etc., IS NOT THERE on any firefox page I open. It is there on other browsers but I would like to continue using firefox. What should I do?

In Firefox 4 and later you no longer have the Status bar that showed the padlock in previous Firefox versions. 
The padlock only shows that there is a secure connection and doesn't guarantee that you are connected to the right server. 
So you might still be connected to the wrong server if you make a typo in the URL and someone has claimed that mistyped URL.
The functionality of the padlock has been replaced by the [[Site Identity Button]] on the left end of the location bar.

I've created an ejb which uses the studio API to start/execute etc the workflow
tasks in a generic way. The same ejb contain certain method which I want to use
as business operations in my workflows. However, when I deploy this ejb as a separate
application by putting the required jar files in class path it works fine, but
when I deploy it as a part of WLI application for accessing the business operations
in workflow I'm getting the following error. I'm entering ejbcomponent entry under
the wli application tag of config.xml and putting the jar file in the lib directory

Search Results not working as expected with Site.URL Filter

I have a page (SharePoint 2013 - Foundation) with a search Results web part. In that web part I have added a filter to limit the results to the specific site (and it's children). So my Query text is:
{searchboxquery} Path:{Site.URL}*
This works.. except for one thing. I'm guessing here but I think the "Site.URL" is returning the site that contains the search results page and not the site that actually started the search!
What I'm trying to do is mimic the default search behavior where a search only contains results from the current site down. So for example
\sites\mySite\mySubSite
If I'm on mySite and search, I should get everything from mySite + mySubSite. However if I am in the mySubSite when I search, I should only get results from mySubSite and NOT the parent mySite.
Added info:
the actual 'search center' is at the \sites\mysite level. Per MS documentation it states that {Site.URL} is the site from where the query was issued. To me that means that if I am on \mysite\mySubSite and initiate the search there, that it should only include
results mySubSite which it is not doing

In SharePoint 2013, we could configure Result source to limit searched to certain content or to a subset of search results. This would be equal to a new search scope in SharePoint 2010.

The url does not change when navigating to a new site or page. Back button is also inactive.

I launch firefox 3.6.15 and it displays google main page. I perform a google search, get search results, click on a site link, and that page is displayed. All good. Here is the problem I am experiencing. The url for the site, however, is not displayed. Firefox still displays google.com and not the url for the page I am on. Additionally, the back button is inactive. So, I can never navigate back to the previous page. If I type in a url the same thing will happen. Forefox will display the typed in url and not urls for the pages I navigate to and the back button is inactive. Very frustrating.

What can I do if all HTML links refresh site instead of redirecting properly (FF only, HTML 1.0 Strict valid, no plugins) just after using autocompleted url?

I was testing a XHTML 1.0 Strict valid website on my localhost. It had URL "http://localhost/visaita/tictactoe/Web/index.php?item_id=8&game_password=73|55fc84c0c432ad625a901caaa13108aa&chat_code=74|50b3b60c8be203.98819772#.ULO2EnC23XQ". If I click in URL field between 8 and ?. Then pres shift + end and delete the rest of URL, I get a drop down of suggestions. Then I press arrow left in my keyboard - suggestions dissappear. I press enter and my URL is immediately reset to initial one (with all arguments) even though I wanted to delete them. Server receives all the arguments, so this is not the case of a back-end redirection (tested).
The most interesting effect is that after such refresh ALL HTML LINKS stop working. They refresh page instead of redirecting. Even if I click on a link redirecting to another domain, page still gets refreshed and not redirected. I see it as an obvious and serious bug which happens in very special conditions.
All FF plugins and add-ons disabled. Tested in safe mode as well. One interesting fact is that this page is opened by a redirect from another page (JavaScript performs redirect), but the page where error happens does not contain any JavaScript redirection code. Error console is also empty.
During these redirects FireBug (when enabled) displays interesting stuff. It shows that request without arguments is pending infinitely while immediately after it another request is launched with all unwanted arguments.
Another interesting fact is that page is using late polling AJAX technique (not sure whether it has any impact).
It seems that it is some caching bug.

Autocompleted URL does not seem to be related in order to provoke the bug. If I press Esc and then immediately press on links, they all work fine. Without pressing Esc, if long polling is in action, all links redirect the same page. Long polling request happens for no longer that 2 minutes and then there is a 1 second JS delay before the next one. If links are pressed between calls, they work fine.
The strange thing though is that my friend has prepared a simple script which is generating a long polling request and has a link to Google. This test works, so I am trying to understand whether there is any additional factor which is causing the problem. Perhaps it can be due to having redirects and 2 simultaneous long polling requests at the same time. Doing my best to understand the problem. Not sure what is happening although I am quite sure that problem is caused by the FF browser somehow. Tested everything back and forth.
