Skype Manager , Member requests?

I have set up all the members in the skype manager section. BUt never received a request to send each member. How do they set up on their computors?

  • Suspend Credit from Skype Manager member

    Is it possible to remove credit from a member, in case this member is no longer in your company?. I just tried it, but i cant seem to find anywhere to remove credit back onto the account.

    I don't understand the policy.
    Is it so difficult to let decide the accountmanager to swap credit from one to another member ? for example: i've a month subscription running for one member, at the end of the month Skype sends me a message that i need credit to renew his subscription, i get new credit, swap the credit to the member with the subscription.....nothing...the manager needs the credit...so i've to swap the credit back to the manager...no way because the account is personal.....

    Skype is getting worse, unwanted 'options', an interface that is getting worse. We're happy to pay to use your service but treat us with respect and don't try to rip us off !
    I ask for a better  and simple interface, no microsoft stupid colors. remember the first userinterface, no ofcourse you were not using it by that time...

    We have a business accounts that are created in Skype Manager, I deleted the member account but it still showing as online.

    Unfortunately, it sounds like your Skype account has been hacked.  More information on this here: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10920/what-can-i-do-if-someone-has-taken-over-my-account
    Check your on-line account purchase history and please also check with the issuer of the credit method you had on file to ensure no fraudulent charges were posted to the account.  I suggest continuing to monitor that account - and changing that account password, too.  Kudos to you for taking the pro-active steps of changing your account password and disabling auto-recharge immediately!
    Make sure your computer is fully updated, and run your preferred anti-virus/malware/spyware program using the latest virus signature files.

  • Accidentally Removed Member from Skype Manager

    I accidentally removed a member from our skype manager when I should have changed their password to block the account.  Is there a way to get this profile back into our skype manager?

    When a business account is deleted, all data associated with the account is permanently lost and cannot be recovered. You should therefore do a manual back up of any required account information, especially your payment information, before deleting the account.

  • Adding multiple contacts with Skype manager

    This support page: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10867/how-do-i-add-other-members-of-my-skype-manager-to-my-contac... indicates that there's an option on the left-hand side to select multiple contacts.  I'm not seeing this on the page described, I can only add contacts one by one.  Is this feature something I need to "turn on" somewhere in my settings?
    In addition, I've noticed in the past month or so, even by adding contacts one-by-one, only around the first 40 people receive the request to be added as a contact.  After that, no one receives invites.  This is very frustrating for adding all of our business's contacts at the same time.
    I've tried this in Mac 10.7.4 and 10.8.  I've also switched to a PC, but the same thing happens.  Does anyone have any insights?

    Just an update (2013 Nov 25). There is now an option to add multiple contact using csv file. Here is a simple direction: Create a csv file with 2 columns 1st column is the email address and the 2nd column is the name of the account. Then go to Members > Add members > create business accounts > then click on Browse..., choose the file you just created and it should be able to import the contacts.

  • Blocked user account in Skype Manager

    I have a user in my company that is showing a "Blocked Account" when I sign into our Skype Manager. When I click on his username to take me to more information, I get an error message stating: "Service Unavailable. We're having technical problems. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again after a few minutes."
    This has been happening for over a week now, and when I submitted an email suport request to Skype, their support (Rodeline C.) sent me here instead of answering my question. Any thoughts on how I can get this user working? Thanks!

    Having said that, your issue can be resolved differently. You deleted all mail manually in the file system (not a good idea, but what is done is done). So the mail is actually gone. What you are seing is Cyrus' index. Since you deleted manually the index didn't get updated. To get rid of the problem either reconstruct that users mailbox throgh Server Admin - > Mail or alternatively run:
    sudo -u cyrus reconstruct -r user/gordon (assuming that's the user's name)

    Four days ago, I contacted customer support about changing my billing address in Skype Manager. I am unable to change my billing address in Skype Manager. When I click edit on the billing address, the registration address shows up instead and is uneditable. I contacted customer service three times since then, and Customer Service told me that the Specialized team would contact me within twenty-four hours. I have never heard from the Specialized team. Since the method of contacting customer service results in broken promises from Skype, is there an alternative method to resolve my problems or is there a way to change my billing address?

    Did you manage to resolve the problem? I went to Skype live chat support. She made it work: "I requested to enable the edit button on the account". 
    So, it seems like you have to request that the edit button is made life.

    No, that's not possible.
    One single Skype account can only be a member (administrators are members as well) of maximum 1 Skype Manager group.

    I've logged back into Skype for Business and then Skype Manager for the first time in a few weeks and the user experience is quite different. I want to change a member into an admin but can't seem to do this and the documentation and information in support forums is out of date.
    Please advise.

    Currently, only Unlimited Subscriptions.
    That Said, if you are NOT in the U.S. you can add a normal Skype name, and give them credit so that they could purchase a Limited subscription, or if you are in the U.S. and the Skype member is a business Skype name, you could do the same.
