SOLAR01-Graphic Tab

Hi Team,
I am working in SOLAR01 "Graphic" tab. When i try to connect two business process steps, i am getting the option Sysnchronously & Asychronously. What does it mean? How does it impacts?
Need your guidance on this

Hi,
Between the business process steps this means:
Asynchronously - the sender or receiver doesn't expect any confirmation but manual response can be sent.
Synchronously - both transactions communication together, data transfer is together and sender always expects an automatic reply.
Base it on your knowledge of the process and business transactions.

Am trying to a create a notification in transaction SOLAR01. Am trying to access the GRAPHIC tab. But the page wont come up. Is there are settings that i need to be changing or are there any need of any additional authorization required?

Hi Imran,
Did you check with your BASIS team as to whether latest ActiveX controls are implemented and allowed for ?
Also, please ask them to check for settings to be enabled in Transaction SICF.
Last but not least, could you please ensure that latest SAP GUI is in place.
One of these should most likely fix your problem.

In Solar01 tcode Graphics tab graphics are not dispaying

Hi All,
I am having an issue in SOLMAN4.0:
In solar01 tcode i.e Business Blueprint when i am going to Graphics tab and clicking on the Goods receipt & Inventory Magt or any other its giving "Page cannot be diplayed .....cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer"
Actually it used to give the icm/host_name_full is not set correctly. When I added this parameter in RZ10 the error gone and dispalying the above error...
Kindly guide me to make make necessary changes so that my issue is solved.
NOTE:
1.Local availibility of Internet Explorer is haigher than 5.5
2.ActiveX controls are active in your browser
the above 2 are done on my server.

It got solved by giving icm/host_name_full profile parameter correctly. previously it was given as "saphost.sap.com" then i given as "saphost.domain.sap.com"

Error in Graphic Tab

Dear All,
Can any one help me in resolving the following two problems.
1. In the transaction SOLAR01 when I click the graphic tap I am getting the error
The website cannot be found. The IP address for the website you requested could not be found.
2. when I enter the transaction SOLMAN_PROJECT on the lefthand side I am getting the list of project. When I click on the project I am getting the road map assigned to that project. But when I click on the scenario or process node under the project, I am getting the error The website cannot be found. The IP address for the website you requested could not be found.

Hi Saravanan,
Make sure you use fully qualified hostnames!
In one of my systems we kept keeping a logon/login popup when hitting the Graphic tabs. The note below solves this.
Note 637995 - Problems with displaying the Component View / Graphic
This can be done as follows:
Create a user (of type SYSTEM) with no authorizations.
Call transaction SICF.
Expand the following items: default_host->sap->bc->bsp->sap.
Double-click on the item 'component_view'.
In the following popup, in the field 'Anonymous Logon Data' fill in the
corresponding data for the new user (Client, user, password). Check
'Logon data Required'.
Save the changements and activate the Service (see above).
If the graphic is still not displayed, please call transaction SE80. Choose 'BSP Application' within the drop down listbox on the left hand side. Enter 'COMPONENT_VIEW' in the field underneath. Double-click the folder 'COMPONENT_VIEW' in the tree underneath. Press the button 'Activate'. Double-click the folder COMPONENT_VIEW->Pages with Flow Logic->cv_bpr.asp and press the button 'Activate'.
Moreover, Business Server Pages require a fully qualified hostname. Please refer to note 434918 in order to make sure that the host name of your system is fully qualified.
I only executed the bottom part, because in the good system the first part was not implemented.
What IP adres is you server pointing to? Does it exsist at all?

In the Graphic Tab and Work Center Error The Page Cannot be displayed

Hi In the Solar01 and also in the Solman_Workcenter I am getting error "The Page Cannot be displayed"
In the Solar01 - I have Business Processes save and under the Graphic Tab when I am clicking on the correct Business Scenario Node. I am expected Graph to display. But Showing error
In the Solman_Workcenter - I set up the added the Starndard Role Busing Solaman Basic Role and + implementation role. When i go under Solman_workcenter transaction I am getting the same prolbem i.e "The Page Cannot be displayed"
Any Idea friends.

Refer note 834832. Check activation of services in transaction SICF and the patch level of your SAP GUI.

Graphic tab

Hi,
In SOLAR01 transaction (blue printing) after entering the scenario, when I go into the "Graphic" tab, instead of the flowchart depicting the business process, I see only the XML code. Could some one let me know if some settings need to be done to have the business process flow chart displayed?

Graphics tab in REBDBU: Internal error when implementing extension

Seek your kind help please.
I have entered in the building master data using REBDBE. We have a tab called Graphics. The pictures etc of the building are uploaded using a software called Korasoft. When i am clicking on the Graphics tab, it is entering the screen but immediately afterwards flashing the following message, "Internal error when implementing extension".
Doing a F1 on the error message shows the foll details:
"Diagnosis
An internal error occurred during the implementation of a customer-specific enhancement. A CHANGE-API module was called with an object reference (parameter IO_OBJECT) that was not instantiated in the required activity for changing (02). The API modules are function modules and begin with API_RE_.
Procedure
Within the BAdI implementation, transfer the parameter IO_OBJECT from the BAdI method directly to the API module. Make sure that the transferred instance is allowed to be changed."
I found that the SAP note 1139014 causes this error message to be generated. Note 1139014 forms a part of support pack level 13 (release 600). Recently we have upgraded our systems from support pack level 8 to support pack level 13. Naturally even this note got implemented at that time.
But now this note is causing this error message and so I will be grateful if someone can please tell me how to rectify the error.

I would kindly ask you appy the SAP note [1521903|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1521903] and proceed as described in the note to resolve the issue.

Graphics Tab

Hello!
In our newly installed SM 40 system I am able to build the blueprint project structure but I am unable to view the processes in graphics tab. Is there any specific setting/config to be set up for viewing in graphics tab?

GRAPHICAL TAB DRIVING CRAZY

I cannot get Track icons to display in the graphical tab. I've closed SP and reopened it I don't know how many times. Added tracks, deleted tracks (all of which appear under the outline tab, NONE of which appear in the graphical tab.)
If I create a new project, I don't even get the two standard graph tab icons - Menu, and Track 1. I'm able to get a MENU icon, but no Track icon. Baffled beyond...
What the heck is going on? Am on SP 4.

Fair enough! Larry recommended trashing the SP preferences:
[ Home directory ] > Library > Preferences > com.apple.dvdstudiopro.plist
When I did that, and reopened the app, everything worked as it should.
You got to hate those bugs that you can't fix from within an app, that crop up
for no particular reason. Props to Larry Jordan!

Missing Logical Component in Solar01-Transaction Tab

We have setup several logical components and assigned it to our project template. We then executed transaction SOLAR01; navigate to the "Business Blueprint Structure", "Master Data" and then the "Transactions" tab; we could only select One Logical Component. The rest of them are NOT being display at all. Any idea why?
Interestingly, when we naviate to the Business Blueprint Structure" \ "Business Scenario" - All the logical components are available again. But go down another level from there' and we are back to one logical component again.

Hi,
logical components are assigned directly to master data objects, organizational units and process steps. Thus, these objects are part to the corresponding system. Therefore, it is only possible to assign content on tabs belonging to these objects that have the same product assigned. This is the reason why only one logical component is available on this level in your project. On scenario or process level, all logical components are available.

CRM IMG nodes are missing in SOLAR01 - configuration Tab

hi Experts
i am facing very strange issue. I am trying to link IMG nodes from the backend system in configuration tab.
the IMG nodes are available in backend system from SPRO , whereas when i try to add the IMG object from the configuration Tab in solar01, these nodes are not available for the selection.
Does any body faced these kind of situation.
Please help with the solution

Hi,
Make sure that those nodes are selected in the IMG project scope. This can be seen at SPRO_ADMIN for the IMG project, under tab "scope".
If the nodes are not selected, select them and generate the project IMG.

SOLAR01 Messages Tab

Hello,
I am trying to create a message from the SOLAR01 t-code. System creates the message and displays the following:
Green Tick mark- Message <nn> created successfully in the system <SID>. Basis message not created.
It does not give any error here.
1. However, I cannot see the message under the Messages tab and also when I add it, the system tells me "Message <nn> does not exist".
The message exists when viewed using the transaction monitor.
The system is on EPH1 and using YLFN for the service desk message.
2. Should I define a new entry for YLFN in the basis message settings or use SLF1 only?

The number ranges are as follows;
Object CRM_SERVICE:

Also, there is no value in the document flow. As I said, the document flow button is disabled.
Now, when I create a message from Help- Create Support message, the message gets created successfully as seen in the transaction monitor, but still gives the error 513. I have checked notes 824640 & 864195. Unable to see where now the issue is.
Please help.

SOLAR01 - Administration Tab

Hi Team,
I am currently working with Sol Man EHP1 SAPKITL433
I am setting up project structure in SOLAR01. In Administration tab, i am entering the team members at the business process level. Under the business process, i have 80 business process steps. When i have entered the project team members at the business process level, i was under the expectation that, the project team member will be passed on the lower level also (ie business process step). It was not like so. I need to enter the project team members at each business process step level it seems but i feel it is tedious to maintain the team member details at step level.
Can any one guide me to avoid this tedious method?

Hello,
the button is also disponible in your stack version. In the Team Member Tab at your business process level you should have 4 buttons
- Plus
- Minus
- Replace
- Copy
            - *********Add (will add asssigned team memebers to all subnodes)
            - *********Delete (will delete asssigned team memebers to all subnodes)
            - *********Replace (will replace asssigned team memebers to all subnodes by your selection)
PS: the 4th button is available only when a node has subnodes. So you wont see it at a step level for example

HP Photo Creations - where's the text and graphics tabs?

I downloaded V 3.5 HOwever I can't seem to find the tabs for text, graphics, etc. All I can find is touchup, crop, red eye, and one or two others. But where is the text and graphics, and the other cool ones.? I'm sure I downloaded 3.5.

Hi Melodee.
The additional editing tools appear with collage projects. When you choose basic prints, you'll see only the touchup tools (crop, image adjustments, red-eye, airbrush, tint).
In other words, to add text, borders, and graphics, choose Collage Prints instead of Prints. This link will take you there:

There are quite a few cool effects in the touchup section, though.
Under Image Adjustments, click Advanced Controls at the bottom of the screen to try the Posterize effect.
Under Airbrush Effects, try the Rub Through, Blur, and Monochrome brushes.
Rub Through loads a photo in the background that's slowly revealed as you paint over the original photo. Blur is good for toning down distracting elements in your picture, making a snapshot look like a photo taken with a fancy lens. The photo below uses both those plus the Monochrome Brush.

Solar01/solar02 in solution manager: landscape structure definition- urgent

Hi Forum Members,
I need to understand whether this is possible and if it is then how do i do it; any step by step manual from SAP is available. We have solman 7.1 and project with type 'implementation' created. When i go to solar01/02 i can maintain business scenario for ERP with relevant business processes however our landscape is like ERP, CRM, Enterprise Portal , DMS (Document Management System), TREX. I wish to adjust solar 01 business process structure in a way that it reflects the entire landscape. So, regarding i have few questions as below. Please let me know your views ASAP as i am runnig very short of time to asetup
1. Is it possible to adust all these applications in the single business process structure e.g. one implementation project has business scenarios to ERP, CRM, EP and so on.
Business process structure we get is general with nodes after project creation in project administrtion is :
A.Organizational unit
B. Master Data
C. Business scenarios.
2. If not then do i have to create individual projects for each aplication like one for ERP and Other for CRM and so on.
For reference please see the below prototype i am expecting to achive by doing this (solar01) :

Thank you for the quick reponse and feel really nice to see you on this queries posted by me. I saw plenty of your threads earlier clarifying so many things on SCN.
I wish to admit that i am new to solution manager. So from the understanding prospective would you confirm that in core you are saying that technically it cant be realized (individual business scenarios for each applicaton type) as you have explained that one scenario runs on different systems. I mean to say SAP doesnt support this that is what you wish to say? This confirmtaion is needed to rule out the option of adjusting business process structure as i am expecting to be.
Also, I have to select business scenario in 'business scenario' and adjust it to run on different systems in under GRAPHIC tab in solar01 provided logical components are mentioned appropriately. I am refering to below link for designing the business process structure
