SRM Service Entry Sheet update failed in backend

Hi All,
I am facing with a problem regarding service entry sheet posting to backend system (i am using SRM 5.0).
In our development system it works fine, but i Q system we have issue: when i create the service entry sheet in SRM, it does not replicated back to ECC (if i do the same in development system, it works poperly -> the entry sheet created in backend without any problem)...error is regarding to some update problem.
i debuged and i've realized the "MS_READ_SERVICES" FM does not get any input paramterer for the PACKNO (however in ekpo and in esll table it is available)...after the run of the FM, of course no value is found therefore the program raise an error and the service entry creation is not possible in ECC.
Please help...i suppose some configuration is missing, but from SRM point of view i think everything is correct...maybe some FI part is missing??
Thanks in advance!
BR,
Attila

Hi. SUS and the supplier workplace are 2 different things.
SUS is supplier self service, and is where the supplier creates sales orders, ASN's, sales invoices and so on on your system. They basically use it as their own sales system.
The supplier portal is the supplier logging on to your SRM system as a user effectively and doing confirmations or entering invoices or whatever.
You could even just give the supplier a log on to your SRM system as a normal user and give them the central receipt role and use the BADI BBP_WF_LIST to restrict the list to only those POs relevant to that supplier if you did not want to set up the supplier portal.
However, if you want to upload them have a look at function BBP_PD_CONF_CREATE.

Dave.

  • Deleted service entry sheet from SRM not posted in ECC

    Experts,
    SRM 5.0 (Ext classic)
We have a limit PO for 1000GBP. User created a service entry sheet for 880GBP and this was posted in ECC. Then user deleted this entry sheet after which I see 'Error in process' status. RZ20 status shows "Error whilst creating an entry sheet in the backend system. Entry sheet XXX already deleted". Also Service entry sheet in ECC has status 'deleted'.
How come SES in ECC has status deleted but in SRM it shows error in process?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Christian,
    Thanks for your reply.
But this is what has happened. No the SES was not deleted in ECC before the confirmation was deleted in SRM. Our users don't have access to ECC T-codes.
Also I have checked the time at which the cancellation was created and everything is in sync.
How can i change the status of SES from 'Error in process' to 'posted in backend'?
    Please advise
    Thanks

  • ECS scenario - Service PO and Service Entry sheets in backend

    Hello,
We are on SRM_SERVER 550, SP07 and  in the process of moving to ECS scenario.
There are some questions from me on the Service procurement in ECS.
    1. When we create a PO with service item in SRM, will it get copied to backend as a Po with item category 'D'? This is how it happens in classic scenario, but does the same hold good in ECS?
    2. When creating the confirmation for the service PO in SRM for ECS scenario, this would be a time entry/service entry sheet.
Would this be replicated to R/3 as a time entry sheet using RFC call?
Standard SRM210 guide mentions that goods confirmation will flow to backend as GR thro ALE/IDOCs and service confirmation will flow to backend as service entry sheets using RFC calls.
But I wanted a confirmation if this is entirely a standard SAP scenario or are there any restrictions on this?

    Srivatsan

    HI,
Following are answers to some of your questions -
    1) What do you mean by default unit measure? If this is the unit of Service, then you may change this in Service Master (T Code AC03). If the unit is at line item, then it should be AU, because you may order multiple services under one line each having different units of measure.
    2) The message "No message record could be found for output of message. Save anyway?" is displayed because, you have not maintained output message for service entry sheet. Either define the output or remove the warning message at Attributes of system messages.
    3) The process of service PO is same as material PO. The difference is that the item category for service PO is 'D' & then you maitain services for the line item either with or without service master. After completion of service, you create service entry sheet at transaction code ML81N & after accepting the service entry sheet, service entry sheet based GRN is prepared. The person who is posting MIRO is not required to know Service Entry Sheet number to post MIRO. The system automatically checks the service entry sheets accepted. Anyway, the service entry sheet number can be displayed at Purchase Order History tab of the conccerned PO at PO display option (T Code ME23N).
    Hope your query is fulfilled.
Reward points if the answer is helpful.

  • Text mapping from SAP SRM confirmation to ECC Servic Entry Sheet

How can we map Item and Header texts from SRM confirmations to ECC Service Entry Sheet appropriate fields.

    Hello Sanjeev,
FIrst, run report /SAPSRM/GET_TEXT_CUST_ERP in SRM. This report copy texts from backend to SRM.
Then use SPRO to map texts between SRM document and R/3 corresponding document:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Text Mapping > Text Mapping for Inbound and Outbound Texts
Standard Text ID for ERP lines of service begin with "L". They are linked to customzing object ESLL.
For more details, have a look at R/3 function module MMPUR_GET_TEXT_CUST_DATA.

  • How to update sales order number (KAUFN) characteristic in the profitability segment of the PA document created at the time of service entry sheet confirmation, as a result of shipment cost document

    Hi,
We have a scenario wherein we create shipment cost documents against delivery. As a result of shipments fully transferred, a PO for freight vendor is automatically created and a service entry sheet confirmation happens. As a result of service entry sheet confirmation, we have Financial accounting, Controlling and profitability analysis documents created. We have a requirement wherein we need to have the characteristic “sales order number (KAUFN)” populated in the profitability analysis document created as a result of service entry sheet confirmation.
Could someone please advice how could this be attained in COPA. Thanks for your help in advance.
    Regards,
    Sandeep

    Hi Ajay,
Thank you for the quick update.
The document is updated to COPA through OKB9 settings. The profitability segment is updated with fields like customer, product, company code, plant, sales area data, profit center, etc; however the sales order number is missing.
Could you please elaborate further how could FI substitution be implemented to call for the FM COPA_PROFITABILITY_SEGMENT through user exit? Are you recommending the substitution through GGB1? What could be the possible validation to call for the user exit to be implemented?

  • SRM - Delete confirmation (service entry sheet)

    Hi,
    we have the 5.00SRM.
The user tried to post twice the same confirmation (service entry sheet) so the system replicated the first one in R3 and the second is in error for the Purchase order lock (message class SAP-T100 message-id BBP_ADMIN 010).
It's right that the second is in error (Luckly!!!), but now we don't know how delete it (the second wrong confirmation), because in the confirmation transaction the delete button is inactive. Now the user need to create a new confirmation for the same purchase order, but since now all the confirmations for that purchase order go in error.
Please, help me ... I looked all SAP notes and forum messages but I didn't find the solution.
    Thanks

  • SRM-SUS for Service Entry Sheets - Classic Scenario

    Hi SRM Gurus,
Our client wants to use SRM-SUS for the Service Entry Sheets (to being with and then later expand more in other SRM areas). The lead system will be R/3 system.
We will be going with ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0.
Service Order will be created in R/3 and replicated into SRM (SAP have said this is new functionality in SRM 2007 and SAP will provide us with this functionality in SRM 5.0 as well)
SAP are also recommending using MDM for hosting the catalogs for service entry sheets to enable vendors to selete their items during the confirmation / filling the service entry sheets. - they say this is mandatory
SAP are also asking for XI for the data to be transferred from R/3 to SRM (and may be vice versa) - they say this is mandatory.
    Few questions:
    1) What kind of hardware size are we talking about to have SRM-SUS, MDM, XI and Portal (PI)
    2) Are MDM and XI mandatory as said by SAP and if yes, in what scenarios. What is they way around
    3) How good is the functionality provided by SRM-SUS for Services? Is it as good as in R/3 (or even better)? We will be having complex Services in our scnearios.
    4) What can be a typical time to install SRM-SUS, MDM, XI and Portal in the Dev environment to get moving onto the project?
An early response shall be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Rahul

    few answers to your questions
    1) what is the release of SRM  you want to work with?
    2) services in SUS is not available as standard , and will be provided by SAP as consulting up on request.
    3) for hardware requirements , please refer to the master guide for the srm release you will be working on -->
and also you can refer to the software component matrix in master guide --> to see if any component is mandatory..
    4) XI and MDM as far as i know is mandatory for SRM 6.0 and above , But in SRM 5.0 , XI is compulsory.
    5) so xi is mandatory in anyway in SUS as different systems are involved and therefore is required for routing the documents correctly.
    6) time for installation again depends on your supplier base , and your level of expertise.
    7) it is not always recommended to compare between two different systems , R/3 and SUS are different and so functionality will not be the same
    8) but as far as i know R/3 is stronger functioanlly..

  • Service entry sheet can't be changed to update the final entry indicator

    Hi All,
Can any body suggest possible reason and a solution for the below?
I am having a situation in which for a service P.O for which partial service enty has been done and for that invoice has also been done.(In production)
Now when I am trying to close the P.O line item by going to service entry sheet by t.code ml81n there i am not able to get the change icon , and hence i am not able to revoke the acceptance of service entry and subsequently I couldn't be able to set the final entry for that.
I tried to do the simulate the same senario in development(testing client) server and it is working fine, could any one sugget the reason and solution how to close the service line item in the P.O .
    Regards,
    Sushanta

    Hi,
That was useful but I checked some other service P.O and for them I am able to see the change icon.
the p.o in my earlier mail are old one of 2002, but they are having partial service entry and invoice against them,
Could any one please tell me under what circumstances I will not be able to see the change icon in the service entry sheet?
Is it if the service entry is done at an old date, i mean earlier date or any other reason.
    please let me know soon

  • Service Entry Sheet creation!!!!

    Hi all,
I am working on service procurement with ECS scenario. The Service Entry Sheet in the backend R/3 system is subject to release strategy(for a material group).
Whenever I create a Service Entry Sheet(SES) based on a EBP PO, then the SES is subjected to a release strategy.
Whenever I create a confirmation in the EBP system(which doesn't have a workflow for confirmation), the follow-on document i.e. Service Entry Sheet is getting created in the backend with absolutely no release strategy whatsoever.
Why is the SES getting created automatically, even though there is a release strategy attached to it at the backend?? This release strategy is functioning fine when I create a SES manually in the backend.
I found a thread { Service Entry sheet auto released when created through EBP } wherein someone had faced the same issue that I faced, but no one gave him a clear picture as well.
    Help me!!
    Regards
    Hari

    Hi,
    This is standard SRM design.
The Service Entry Sheet created from SRM in ECC is directly released to create a material document (good receipt).
This is because, there is no release functionnality available from SRM.
Thus, if there were a release strategy, there is no way in standard to pilot it from SRM.
If you need a release straegy, you need to use the confirmation WF in SRM that will occur before the Service Entry sheet is created in ECC.
    Kind regards,
    Yann

  • Service entry sheet reversal document (Status: Error in process) List repor

    Hi,
I have a requirement, to have or develop report which gives service entry sheet reversal documents (Status: Error in process),
while investigation i found below options (not exactly meeting my requirement)
    1) Display and Process Confirmations Centrally >Document Category>reverse documents
which giving all reversed document list (need only error list) and it is giving only my puchasign group list (need all purchasing group list)
    2) I can execute PPB_PD with BUS2203>status>I1019
is there any way/possible option that i can execute a report of reversal service entry sheets which ststus :error in process"

  • Workflow in Service Entry Sheet Release

    Hi Friends,
Can we activate workflow for Service entry Sheet Release. How many levels can we take in this , I mean release Strategies.
We activated for PO / PR.
Pls. let me know the process / details where can I get more info on this.
    Regards
    Sai Krishna

    Hi,
If you want to subject release strategies for SRM confirmation/service entry sheets in backend system, then it would not be possible as the service entry is created and released simultaneously. However you can achieve this, if you switch to different Bapi for SES posting.
For more info in abckend system, Go to SPRO setting MM>External Service management-->Define Release strategy for SES.

  • Settings for 101 movement while accepting the service entry sheet

    Hi All,
Please let me know the settings required to do a 101 movement in the background when a service entry sheet is getting accepted using ML81N.
    Regards,
    Ashwin

    Hi
The PO is always account assigned for service PO.
Hence when you accept service entery sheet the system do GR for account assigned PO i.e.
Debit - KBX for account assignment
    Credit _ WRX GR/IR account
You can check it in OMJJ under update control from left pan for movement type 101 and GR for account assigned

  • Service entry sheet cannot revoke acceptance

    Dear All,
Service PO is created with four line items in Service tab in item details.
All are entered as short text i.e without service master record.
Three Service entry sheets are created for the first three items. But only one material document (with mvmt type 101) has been created for those three service entry sheets.
This material document contains these 3 line items with 3 service entry sheets as reference document.
For fourth line item in services tab of PO, fourth service entry sheet + material doc (101) created.
Also in PO history tab of PO, Three GR line items for first material document and Fourth GR line item for second material document displayed.
In PO history, Only fourth service entry sheet is diplayed.
Now when we want to revoke acceptance of one of the three SES (with common mat doc), system is not allowing. Its giving error message SE025 as below
Not possible to cancel acceptance immediately due to aggregation
    Message no. SE025
    Diagnosis
It is not possible to revoke acceptance due to aggregation of the PO history records.
    Procedure
To revoke (cancel) acceptance of one or more entry sheets, you must first disaggregate the PO history records (report RM06EKBE).
But when report RM06EKBE is run, its not getting executed.
Please suggest how to revoke acceptance of those three SESs.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hello,
From your description of the problem, I assume this is an inconsistency
problem. Hence, I would suggest you to carry out the 2 steps in solving
    the problem.
STEP 1 :  RESTORE THE SES IN THE EKBE
STEP 2 :  REVOKE THE ACCEPTANCE.
Report ZMO_EKBEUPDATE is used to solve the STEP 1 and this report works
for the all SPs. The report is in the Note 527907.
First run the report in the simulation mode just to realise the missing
SES. After that the Report can be run without simulation mode.
This will do a database Update.
Once the DB Update is done and the SES is in EKBE the you can revoke the
    SES.
    ABOUT THE REPORT ZMO_EKBEUPDATE
The report in the Note 527907 is a very useful report.
    It does 2 things,
    1. Restores the Missing SES in the EKBE
    2. Solves the inconsistency in the NETWR in ESSR and EKBE.
For us Point 1 is more important than 2.
It is the enhanced version of RMESSRK2 from note 442091.
This Report will solve the current problem and the note that you have
applied will prevent the future occurrence of the problem.
if you are still not able to solve this incoinsistency, I would suggest that you open a ticket at SAP.
    Best Regards,
    Arminda Jack
