SRM to 2 PI systems

Dear Experts,
Please let me suggest, can I send data from one SRM system to 2 PI systems ?
Please give me the steps also, where I have to make changes for that.
As SRM to 1 PI system is already configured & working fine, but I need to use one another PI system for some new messages.

Study SAP

Thanks,
The data is only Proxy Data.
We have 2 PI, one for our system and
another is with our Customer, they have their own PI, they have their separate SRM also. So they also need data from SRM to their PI also, they will post that into their SRM.
See, the scnario is like :
SRM - our PI - MM
& SRM - Customer PI - their SRM.
So we have to send data at both the systems.
PI is 7.1 & SRM is 5.5

  • Data Consistency when Copying/ Refreshing ECC 6.0 and SRM-SUS 5.0 Systems

    Hello,
We are planning a refresh / system copy of an ECC 6.0 and SRM-SUS 5.0 system
The refreshes will be completed from backups taken of production systems refreshed onto the QA Landscape.
I have referenced the following SDN thread that provides some guidelines on how to refresh R/3 and SRM systems and maintain data consistency between the systems using BDLS and changing entries that correspond to backend RFC destinations:
    [Is there a process/program  to update tables/data after System Refresh?;
This thread is fairly old and relates to earlier versions of R/3 (4.7) and SRM (3.0).  We have heard that at higher system versions there may be technical reasons why a refresh canu2019t be performed.
Does anyone have experience of completing successful refreshes of landscape that contain ECC and SRM systems at higher SAP versions (ideally ECC 6.0 and SRM-SUS 5.0)  Does anyone know whether it is technically possible?
Are there any additional steps that we need to be aware of at these higher SAP versions in completing the copy to ensure that the data remains consistent between ECC and SRM?
    Thanks

Can we transport all the BW templates present in SRM system to BW system.
    BW templates are pressent in
SPRO - SRM - SRM Server - Cross Application Basic settings - Define logical system and template names for BW reports.
    1. Bidder History

  • What product to use with EHP1 FOR SAP SRM 7.0 JAVA System

    Hello,
I install EHP1 FOR SAP SRM 7.0 JAVA system and now I what create this system in SAP Support Portal.
What product should I select: SAP SRM or SAP Netweaver?
If I select SAP SRM, in version I don't have option to select SRM 7.0 EHP1 and no Technical usage to select.
If I select SAP Netweaver, in version I have SAP Netweaver EHP2 and I can select Technical usage "Application server java" and "EP Core" but not SRM java.
In Solution Manager I have the same problem, what products shoul I select to create this system in SMSY?
This JAVA system is not in the same network so I don't know how to synchronize system data.
    Best regards,

  • Transfer product category from catalog to SRM with 2 BE systems

    Hello experts,
We are having an issue when transfering products from the SRM-MDM Catalog though OCI, since we have an SRM extended classic scenario connected to 2 backend systems.
When the information is downloaded to SRM, the product category is changed and a "default" is assigned.
SAP has confirmed this issue happens because there are 2 entries in table COMM_CATEGORY for this value (even though they are clearly differentiated by backend system).
In our case, let's say Product Category "OS" (Office Supplies) exists in both backend systems, and it seems the system only searches for "OS" instead of doing a link to the logical system somehow.
How can I implement BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER in order for the system to use the right Product Category? Should I map one the backend system in one of the custom fields or is ir possible to somehow get the backend system in some other way?
    Regards,
    Gilberto Gallardo

    Hi Gilberto,
You should use the BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER Badi to also define the relevent category GUID during transfer, in this way you can make the category unique and the default will not be selected.

  • Mapping of SRM UOM with backend system UOM

    Hi,
In the SRM system customization, where we can map the UOM's in the SRM system with the UOM's in the backend system?
Could you please explain navigation path in the SRM system?
    Thanks & Regards
    Ravi

    Hi
You need to download the UOMS from Backend using CRM middleware.
    DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is the object name.
Pls. check this blog for the procedure to download UOMs, Product categories and Products from backend.
    /people/marcin.gajewski/blog/2007/02/05/how-to-replicate-material-master-from-r3-to-srm
Once downlaoded from backend, the UOMs are updated automatically.

  • SRM/CRM need further system ?

    Hello,
we are preparing an upgrade from 4.6 C to ECC 6.0, and therefore I have now a question about systems like SRM/CRM.
Do you need for this system an own database and ABAP/java application server ?
Or it is possible to add it to another system ?
    Thanks for help !
    Regards,
    Alessandro

    Hello,
Your requirement is to upgrade your 4.6c to ECC 6.0, you can refer link for availability and support from SAP at service.sap.com/pam
If you require then only install SRM, there is no hard and fast rule for having SRM in your landscape. It only depends on your business requirement. If your current landscape have SRM then you need to upgrade to latest version. There is no problem you can add you SRM to ECC database Multiple Components in One Database (MCOD), but SAP recommands to install seprace DB for seprate application.

  • Automatic Replication of Vendors from SAP R/3 Backend System to SRM System

    Hi All,
I am searching for any existing standard configuration in SRM V 4.0 System for replicating Vendors of selected Purchasing Organizations from SAP R/3 Backend System to SRM System.
I have checked in the SPRO  settings of SRM System and found/could make out from the documentation avalable in help itself, that there is a standard configuration by which you can automatically replicate the Vendors created in SAP R/3 by activating the following in SPRO: By putting a tick mark against the Check Box existing against "Create New Vendors also"  under Vendor Synchronization with Make Global Settings I hope.
If the above statement is correct, then I hope we have to schedule a job ,since the above configuration is based on a job based execution which should run at least once a day.
In that case, which would be the relevant job which has to be created WITH A VARIANT in order to filter the Purchasing Organizations desired for.
Please help me out since we have to implement this asap. And if the above solution is not at all feasible, then please do reply at the earliest.
Awaiting for your early reply .

  • Two SRM systems connected to One back end system

    Hi..
Note: I have posted this message earlier ......but couldn't find that. I am just reposting the message:
In our quality environment, we have two SRM and two backend systems. One for testing purpose and other for training purpose. We are planning to remove one back end system and connect both the SRM systems to one backend system.
    1. Is it possible to have this landscape?
    2. In SRM & R/3 we can define two RFC connnections but from R/3 side, I am not sure how the system will determine the respective RFC connection during GR or any other process.
    3. Are there any other difficulties?
We are in SRM 4.0 using Extended classic scenario. We are using SRM for processing shopping cart, Po and confirmations.
    Please advise.
    Thanks.

    Hi Prashanth,
    is  very much possible.
for this you need to configure the partner profiles.
    need to define port
need to configure inbound paramters and outbound parameters.
    we20 - create partner profiles.
define outbound parameters and inbound parameters of the message type.
    we21 - define port.
    under Transactional RFC.
and create a distribution model and add message type.
revert back to me if any problem still you find.

  • Unable to distribute the MODEL to backend system in SRM 5.0

    Hello Experts,
I have created distribution model " SRM_to_R3" in BD64, maintained message types BBPCO, BBPIV and MBGMCR
Every time I try to Distribute this MODEL to back end system I get the following error in IDES system
Target system T90CLNT090       Commnunication error occurred, error when opening an RFC connection
    RFC connections are
    T90CLNT090   - SRM to R3
    SRM_00_800   - R3 to SRM
Systems got connected successfully and I can "Remote Logon" too......
My query is why am not able to send or distribute the MODEL from SRM to ECC backend system ?
How to get rid of the error and successfully distribute MODEL to backend system.........appreciate your help in this regard
    Rgds !
    SAP Novice

    Hi Zuljana,
Kindly check if your partner profile is active. (Indicated by 'A')
Sometimes if your partner profile is not active, you wont be able to distribute your model. Check the 'A' indicator

  • SRM-MDM catalog 3.0 - Installation Process

    Hi All,
I'm in the process of installing SRM-MDM catalog 3.0 but I'm not sure about the correct installation process.
The SRM-MDM catalog 3.0 installation guide indicates that the following instances are mandatory for SRM-MDM Catalog system:
1- Java system with the central instance, the central services instance, the database instance
2- MDM Server, and MDM Import Server
We have covered the first point by installing an SRM 7.0 JAVA system. Regarding the second requirement, I have some doubts in the way it should be completed. What we did so far was to install the SRM-MDM catalog 3.0 from the MDM 7.1 installation master. So, we now have two MDM server instances: MDS and MDIS.
I'm stuck now. I'm not sure on how to connect my SR-MDM system to the JAVA DB (created in step 1) to create a new MDM schema within it. This makes me wonder if I've followed the correct process. Could you please clarify and explain which steps should be performed to get my SRM-MDM system up and running? Actually my main concern is..Should I first install a MDM system as it's described in MDM IG, and after that perform the installation of the SRM-MDM catalog as I've already done in step 2?
Hope being clear enough I'll wait for your suggestions.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi Diego.
The Installation Note Number for SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0 is : 1177779. The recommended steps would be to follow how the Installation Guide recommends you to do so.
But still your assumption is correct. MDM landscapes and Java landscapes are both different set of categories to be installed to make the Catalog scenario to be successfull.
Step 1:  Make sure you have the back end database server(SQL/Oracle/???) is installed.
Step 2:  Make sure all the MDM components(MDS, MDIS, etc) is installed.
Step 3:  Make sure Java WebAS is installed correctly.
Step 4:  Now deploy the Catalog SCA and MDM Connector deployed in the Java WebAS.
Step 5: You can unarchive and load the repository.
Step 6:  Try to launch the catalog using the URL provided to check and make sure if the connection is fine.
Also what Masa has mentioned is the communication path how the whole process is achieved technically and that doesn't mean that it has to be in the same order which he has mentioned. The below sequence is just an path to describe how the communication is achieved technically.
User -> Browser(Search UI deployed on AS Java) -> (Java API on AS Java) -> MDM Server -> MDM Repository -> DB
Relating Masa's path with the above steps
    User ->
Browser(Search UI deployed on AS Java) -> Step 3 and 4
(Java API on AS Java) -> Step 3 and 4
    MDM Server -> Step 2
    MDM Repository -> Step5
    DB-> Step 1
    Hope this helps.

  • Logical  system name to be updated while client copy--URGENT HELP REQUIRED

    Hello All,
I have a  query regarding the "Logical System name" updation during Client copy.
When we make a client copy(SRM Masters) for the Production system(SRM),the Old Logical system name for backend(which is attached to the SRM masters) gets copied to the new Client (Copy) which needs to be updated.
There is  a  std transaction BDLS through whcih w e can change the current Logical system name to  a  new one but this  seems to work fine for System copy but not for Client copy.
So when i make  a client copy of  SRM masters  for Production system,is there  any other std  way wherein i can change the "Logical system name " for the  backend or  do i have  to write a  CUSTOM program wherein entries  for  the Backend Logical system name in tables like CRMMLSGUID will  be updated  with  the new  Logical system name?
Any help on this is  appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Disha.

    Disha,
Yes, I did it twice and it worked fine.
The R/3 GUID is sent by the OLTP system (R/3) in R/3 message header.
SRM checks this GUID in CRMMLSGUID table.
If is not the same one, then replication process fails.
The only solution I found was to delete this entry. It is automatically recreated with the new GUID with the next replication, with FM CRMT_OLTP_LOGSYS1, called in BAPI_CRM_SAVE.
Look at OSS note 588701 & 765018 for deletion of CRMMLSGUID.
The issue is exactly ours: around system/client copy.
In an CRM environment, this is more critical, because we make a huge use of the middleware. But in our case, and especially after system/client copies, we can go, even if SAP does not guaranty anything, because we don't care about "old" replicated data (I don't care about old BDOCs, that should even be deleted after processing).
We have to take some risks sometimes...
    Rgds
