Yes, you should be able to do so.

  • Get error when viewing XML model data

    Created a XML model and reversed a XML data store.
    When i clicking "View Data..." and an error displays,just like:
    Can not find table .Data. "Select * from .Data"
    A unwanted dot shows before real table name "Data".
    How this unwanted dot is generated?

    Ray,
    That . is not unwanted. The real problem is that your statement is missing the schema name. Instead, your statement would had been something like
    select * from MY_SCHEMA_NAME.Data ;Check your Topology(where you defined schema for XML). Your Schema(Schema) and Schema(Work Schema) dropdowns should be set to a name.
    If you dont have a high-level schema name, then you can add it your JDBC Url:
    jdbc:snps:xml?f=/MyXMLPath/XML_TempFile.xml&d=/MyXMLPath/myDTD.dtd&dod=true&s=MY_SCHEMA_NAMEs=MY_SCHEMA_NAME can be used to provide a generic schema name to all XML files that you may use in the same Topology.
    Also, check Local Object Mask while defining Physical XML Schema - %SCHEMA.%OBJECT

  • Flow and Static checks

    Hi there,
    I created a datamodel and have applied a condition to it. When I execute the interface the invalid records are captured in the E$ table but all the other valid records do not appear on the target table. I couldn't able to find the reason for this. I have applied flow and static check to the condition and the same for the table column. Im not sure why the validate records are rejected.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Cheers

    HI!
    Let me understand, do you want the invalid records at target table?
    If you use the flow control it will keep the records at E$ and WILL NOT load it.
    If you use static control, it will LOAD the data and, after that, verify what are the records with problems.
    Don't use both controls at same time, it doesn't make logical sense unless when needs to validate distinct constraints at each moment.
    Does it help you?

  • MICR font not displayed in PDF on SUSE Linux Server for Check Writer (XML)

    We are generating checks by running the Check Writer(XML) concurrent request and are not able to see MICR fonts on the Check. We downloaded the free version from IDAutomationSMICR.ttf and the fonts were registered under /usr/local/fonts/micr directory. I registered in APPS and uploaded the file IDAutomationSMICR.ttf. Am I missing any steps. The DBA's have registered the fonts under /usr/local/fonts/micr on SUSE Linux Server . The custom Checks are generated but no luck with the fonts. Please advise. Can I download MICR fonts other than IDAutomation site? Appreciate your response.
    Thanks,
    Hari

    I use version 11i, so the steps are probably different. Download a font file (gnuMICR for me). Extract it to a location of your choice on your operating system.
    Follow these steps to load the MICR font to the server. (Step 11 was missing in some of the metalink documents in late 2007. I think Jan. 2008 will be OK).
    1.     Log in as XML Publisher Administrator.
    2.     Navigate to Administration->Font Files->Create Font File.
    3.     Fields are Font Name and File. For Font Name choose any descriptive name. File will browse your PC to locate the font file.
    4.     Navigate to Font Mappings->Create Font Mapping Set.
    5.     Mapping name is the name you will give to a set of fonts. [MICR Font]
    6.     Mapping code is the internal name you will give to this set. [MICR]
    7.     Type: 'PDF Form' for PDF templates. 'FO to PDF' for all other template types.
    8.     Create Font Mapping (this allows you to add multiple fonts to a set).
    9.     Font Family is the exact same name you see in Word under Fonts. If you don't use the same name the font will not be picked up at runtime. [GnuMICR]
    10.     Style and weight must also match how you use the font in Windows. Normal and Normal are good defaults. [Normal, Normal]
    11.     DO NOT enter Language or Territory
    12.     Choose a value for Font Type. [Truetype]
    13.     Search for the Font you just created in step 3. [GnuMICR]
    14.     Navigate to Configuration -> FO Processing -> Font Mapping Set. Can also be done at data def and template level under Edit Configuration. Hierarchy is Site-> Data Def -> Template.
    15.     Select your new mapping set.
    16.     Make sure the font is not referenced under File->Properties->Custom in the RTF template file.
    17.     Select a temporary directory on your concurrent processing node (Configuration -> General). This needs to be a private area not shared by other processes, read writeable by the applmgr (owner of the $APPL_TOP file system). It should be fairly large 5 GB or 20x larger than any datafile being used. The fonts will be downloaded here the first time they are used.
    18.     Also at this site level select your font mapping set.
    19.     Upload a template that uses your special font and test using preview.

  • Multiple DataControls - oracle.bali.xml.model.XmlInvalidOnCommitException

    I have an ADF BC/Faces application with 2 model projects, each having their own app module so I can connect to 2 different schemas for different pages. I am seeing multiple data controls appear in the DC palette - why? In DataBindings.cpx there are only 2 data controls.
    For example, I just added a new view to one AM. It appeared in the DC palette under a new DataControl (AppModuleDataControl3) instead of in the existing DataControl for that AM. When I dragged from the view to the page, I got "could not complete findOrCreateDataControlInApplication because it would result in an invalid document." The full error is below.
    The only unusual thing I can think of is that I am using AM configurations with JDBC DataSource for the connection type. My Jdev version is 10.1.3.3.

    This issue was caused by an import of a reusable library of business components which contained app modules. In the application where I maintain the BC library, I created app modules so I could verify the model before using it in other applications.
    From looking at the .jpx files for my models it appears that these app modules
    were imported as part of the library. So I removed the app modules and corrected my .jpx files.
    I'd suggest a note be added to the section about reusable BC libraries to make sure that any test app modules are excluded when jar files are generated.

    Do you have the data field in the templae set right?
    Attach the template here if you can after taking out any sensitive company information you might have on it.

  • Vkm1 static check status

    Hi,
    In OVA8, I have static (adjacent field open order and open deliveries are not selected), critical field and dunning level selected.
    In VKM1 status field, I can see there are Static Check, TermsOfPayment, Max dunn.
    For Terms of payment and dunning, it is self explanatory that the block is due to payment term and dunning.
    May I know what about Static Check? What cause the block when the status is Static Check?
    Need advice.
    thanks

    Dear
    Newphama Calesta ,
    Please search the forum pertinent to credit management.However i try brief about this
    Static check considers the net document value value of open ordersvalue of open deliveriesvalue of open billing documentsvalue of open items.
    If customer credit limit has been exceeded the above mentioned criteria then a credit block will be applied either sales order ,delivery or while doing PGI.
    Dynamic check has same functionality but it has an additional functionality that is credit horizon period.
    Thanks&Regards

  • Segments in Check Writer XML data source

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me what are the Segments 1-10 in the XML data source that I see for Check Writer (XML) when I use "Third Party Checks". I tried populating few fields in the Entry values for the corresponding element but that didn't work.
    We need an additional field to populate some reference number that needs to be printed on the check and we would like to use one of these segments since it eliminates the customization.

  • ODI : create an XML model with UBL  technology instead of XSD file

    Hello,
    I have several xsd files which contain UBL (Universal Business Language) and all these files are linked between them. In Oracle Data Integrator, I would like generate a XML model from these files as I use to do with the standard xsd files. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the driver I use usually.
    Do you know if you can generate an xml model from xsd files which contain UBL and if yes, could you say me all the steps I must do to that successfully please?
    Thank you in advance.
    Olivier

    Hello All,
    What I mean is :
    when an xsd file calls an other xsd files by using the namespaces (when 2 xsd files are linked), is there a way to create an xml model matching with the contain of these 2 xsd files?
    Can someone say me if the only solution to generate a xml model is to have only one xsd file?
    Thank you in advance

  • Add node into XML Model

    Hi all,
    i would like to add datas into my xml model but i don't manage to do it.
    Here is the context :
    -I have an xml file which represents a tree
    -When the xml model is loaded, i bound it to a tree
    -Then i add nodes to my tree ( aNode.addNode(new Node ) )
    When adding a node, i would like the node to be represented to my model;
    e.g : before adding a node
    <node name="node1">
         <node name="node1_1"/>
         <node name="node1_2"/>
    </node>
    after the node is added :
    <node name="node1">
         <node name="node1_1"/>
         <node name="node1_2"/>
         <node name="new node"/>
    </node>
    I have tried  xml setProperty:
    oModel.setProperty(myPath,data);
    oModel.setProperty(myPath,data,oContext);
    Can somebody help me to achieve this?
    Thanks,
    best regards,
    Marc

    Thanks for this fast reply, i try it and i come back to you
    Edit :
    Here is my xml file :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <objectSet version="1.2.3.4">
        <aRoot code="testCode" reference="0123456789" description="TestDescription"
            owner="Tester">
            <component name="MyCompo1" type="MyCompo1Type">
                <component name="MyCompo2" type="MyCompo2Type">
                    <property name="myProperty2-1" type="string" value="null" />
                    <property name="myProperty2-2" type="string" value="null" />
                    <property name="myProperty2-3" type="string" value="null" />
                </component>
                <component name="MyCompo3" type="MyCompo3Type">
                    <property name="myProperty3-1" type="string" value="null" />
                </component>
            </component>
        </aRoot>
    </objectSet>
    I made a button with the fellowing function attached :
    aTestFunction: function(oEvent){
            console.log("Test");
            var tree = this.byId("myTree");
            var oModel = tree.getModel();
            var pty = oModel.getProperty("/aRoot/MyCompo1"); // Empty; path is not good
            var pty1 = oModel.getProperty("/aRoot/component");//something but only whitespaces when printing
            console.log(pty);//empty
            console.log(pty1);// a lot of whitespaces (9lines of different sizes)
            pty1.push("node");//Error, pty1.push is not a function
            oModel.setProperty("/aRoot/component",pty1);
    The argument of pty1.push is not good, but the function cannot be even called.
    Another try?

  • Weird characters in Hex viewer when i check a xml

    Hi,
    We are in the test phase sending messages to a customer of us. But when we send test messages the customer tells me that there are weird characters in the xml. It happens when we check the xml in a hexadecimal viewer. In the normal viewer of in a webbrowser
    we dont see these characters. He is a example of the situation:
    Look at the characters before the <?XML
    So my question is how can i get rid of these characters?
    PS: these characters arent in the source files.

    These characters are called the Byte Order Mark (BOM) and provided by/to the file system to indicate the encoding to be used when opening the file. You can read about it @http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte_order_mark
    And as Sumit has already mentioned, you can switch these ON/OFF based on the Pipeline Component properties. Even if you're using the default XMLTransmit, you can edit this property on the Specific Port.
    Regards.

  • Credit static check status B in vkm3

    Hello Experts,
    Need your help.
    I have an SO which has a credit status as Released in sales order.
    When checked at VKM3, it shows Status Check B/Not Approved, Overall Status as Released and is also showing a risk cat of RK2.
    Currently, the credit status of the customer has 72% credit exposure and customer has been updated with risk category 001.
    From the client's automatic credit control setting, the Risk Category 001 includes Static check for open orders and deliveries, and Open items  - Max open item %  is 20% with 3 days open.
    I would like to know,
    - how is the static check in VKM3 be approved and changed it to Status A?
    - As I have checked that both risk categories RK2 and 001 both have Open Items Check with Max open item 20%, then should it work if I suggest user to change the risk category into RK1 which is maintained with Max open item 75%?
    Kindly help suggest solutions on how I can the static check be approved.
    Thanks!
    lia

    Dear Lia,
    I donot understand what your issue is. To release the order from the credit check, we will be using VKM3 transaction.
    By the way, to have a clear idea on how Open item check in OVA8 works. Please find below my answer.
    Customer Balance, you can check this in FD10N transaction.
    You can also see the overdue open items in this transaction.
    Max.open.item % will be having Maximum percentage of overdue open items/customer balance
    When you activate the indicator OPEN ITEMS, and you have mentioned some XX% in the Max.open.item % and some Y days in Max.open.item %; then the system will do the following.
    a.first calculate the amount of overdue open items which are due for more than Y days.
    b.then divide the value obtained in step a by customer balance which you can see in FD10n transaction.
    c. this will be giving some %. If this percentage is higher than the value mentioned in Max.open.item %; then the system will block the sales order for further processing.
    Hope this clarifies.
    Please close the thread if this answers your query. thanks
    Thank you
