Status Profile based Distribution Lock

Hi Experts,
I have requirement in my project. We need to replicate the CRM Order in ECC on Status Delivered i.e for the Initial Status to Sent to Delivery Status, I dont want the order to replicate to ECC.
I know this can be done by setting a distribution Lock in status profile for the initial Status and then Set a Release Status to the Delivered status. I tried the same but im unable to maintain the Distribution Lock to the sales order.
Is there any other way it can be done. Or I'm doing it wrongly...

Shashi

  • Status profile based on division in sales organization

    Hi,
Status profile are configured at document type level. However, the requirement is to configure the status profile based on division field of sales.
Is there any way some one has achieved this solution?
Please provide your inputs for the same.

    Hi Soumya,
Are you using TPVS or R/3 to do this split?
In case you are using TPVS, and you have one Sales Org and Dist Ch, you can maintain the conditions on the Division and use these conditions to select Split rules.
Then you can split the orders based on these split rules.

  • How to remove Distribution Lock

    Dear Experts
We have defined a status profile for our Service Order. These statuses are correctly displayed in PCUI in our BSP Application for Service Orders. But in the dropdownlist, there is also the system status "Distribution Lock".
(We are using the field name STATUS_KEY from the structure CRMT_BSP_SRV_OIC_SRCHRES)
This system status can normally be set manually if we wish to avoid our business transaction being transferred into other systems. But in our scenario, we don't need it as we don't transfer our Service Orders into other systems.
This status seems to appear automatically for all Service Processes. (I believe it is defined in the status object type COH.) But I don't know how to remove this status or how to create a new object type without this status.
PS: distribution lock statu in BSP
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Best regards,
    Stephanie

I've found a way to remove "Distribution Lock" status by carrying out the following steps:
    1. Start transaction SE16 - Database table CRMC_BO_RANGES.
    2. Display the content by pressing F7.
    3. Enter "BUS2000116" object type profile and press F8.
    4. Select the line wih "DISTRIBUTABLE" for group and press change.
    5. Set the exclusion field to True.
    6. Press "SAVE" icon.

  • Value Based Status Profile

    Dear Gurus,
I want to use status profile for setting the document status.
I have scenario in which i need to use value based status.
That means a user 1 should be able to set the status if the Net Value of the sales order has reached A amount
If the Net Value is above A and upto B User 2 should be able to set the status. and so on.
I am aware of the authorization key in the status profile, but do not know how to link it to a value.
Your reply in this matter is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    KS

Not sure what kind of status you want but if you are looking for value based  credit release then it can be done through maintain authorization option in credit management section of basic functions.

    Hi,
    Status Profile:
    Eg
You want pricing for a certain sales order type to be checked before billing is possible. You can do this by specifying that the document automatically receives a self-defined status which prevents billing.
    Actions
    1. Define a status profile.
    2. Assign one or more statuses to the status profile.
    3. Determine for each status whether it is to be set automatically or manually when creating the document.
    4. Define for the status which business functions should be suppressed or at least accompanied by a warning message.
    5. Now assign the status profile to a document type or an item category, for which status management should be active.
Based on each status u can allow or restrict the documnets that would want to system to either create, give a warning, or simply ignore.
    Hope it helps you.
If it does reward points for contribution.

  • Status profile for Userstatus

    Hello all,
can any one share with me any custom configuration doc for user statuses.
    [email protected]
    thanks and regards,
    Muralidhar Prasad.C

    Hi,
Below are some customization for status management:
    Status Management
    Use
Status Management allows you to control whether documents are visible to particular user groups. The system uses status management in the approval process.
    Prerequisites
The status management service must have been activated for the repository in which the documents are stored. This setting is made by an administrator.
    Features
The system sets the status automatically if you carry out an action, for example, if you send a document to be approved before it is published (see Publishing with an Approval Process).
The status of a document is displayed in its Details dialog box. A document can have the following statuses:
    Status
    Visibility
    In Progress
Only visible to authors (users with write permission) and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    For Approval
Only visible to authors (users with write permission), approvers, and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    Rejected
Only visible to authors (users with write permission), approvers, and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    Released
Visible to all users with read permission.
    Archived
Only visible to authors (users with write permission) and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    Status Management in Business Transactions
    Use
You can use the general SAP Status Management when processing business transactions.
You can document the current processing status of an object (for example, a sales order), using status management. The current object state can consist of a combination of individual statuses. Any number of statuses can be set for an object.
The system statuses Open and Do not distribute and the user statuses Quotation created and Do not print can be active simultaneously in a quotation.
    Each status fulfills two functions:
    ·        It informs you that a specific status has been set (for example, the quotation was released).
    ·        It specifies which step you can or cannot take next (for example, release is allowed).
If a business transaction is executed, this can set or delete one or several statuses for the relevant object. The switch between status and transaction can be portrayed as follows:
Statuses are portrayed in the system in two different ways:
    ·        As 30 character text
    ·        As 4 character abbreviation (only in status profile)
Both methods of portrayal are language-dependent.
There are two types of status:
    ·        System status: Status that is a status set by the system, which informs the user that the system has executed a specific business transaction on an object. You can only influence this status if you execute a business transaction that changes the system status.
If you release a quotation, the system automatically sets the system status to Released.
However, there are also some system statuses in CRM that the user can set or reset as he wishes, for example, Do not distribute. These statuses are defined in the CRMC_STATUS_PROC table.
    ·        User status: Status that you set, that you can create as additional information to the existing system status. You define a user status in a Status Profile that is created in Customizing for business transactions. You can define and activate as many user statuses as you wish. A status profile can then be assigned to the following in Customizing for business transactions:
¡        To a transaction type (for header status)
¡        To item categories (for item status)
A status profile can be assigned to several transaction types and item categories.
System status and user status influence the business transactions in the same way.
The header status is independent of the item status. One exception is the status Completed. If all items have the status Completed, the header status is also set to Completed.
    Integration
A business transaction is not a static object, but it has its own life cycle, which starts when it is opened and ends when it is completed. During this time, different business transactions change the business transaction. It is, for example, forwarded for release or set to completed.
There are four system statuses that represent the life cycle of the business transaction:
    ·        Open: has been recently created and not yet processed (for example, contract from the Internet)
    ·        In process: administrator is clearing up questions
    ·        Released: contract is complete and legal. Follow-up processes can be started (printing, billing, distribution, releases and so on)
    ·        Completed: All actions directly linked to contract are completed
    ·        Closed: all actions indirectly linked to the contract are closed (for example, from R/3: batch run to actual costs)
    Prerequisites
If you want to display and maintain the user statuses, you need to have maintained a status profile and assigned it to the relevant transaction types and item categories. To do this, go to Customizing and choose Customer Relationship Management  ® Transactions ® Basic Settings  ® Status Management. You have made the assignments in the activities Define Transaction Types and Define Item Categories.
    Features
You can set and delete a status. Statuses that can be set and deleted always reflect the current document situation. However, the system only displays the statuses for setting that can actually be set, with reference to the current transaction status.
The following functions are available to you at header level:
    ·        Display of system and user status
¡        You have maintained a status profile: The system displays the user status that is assigned a status number, as well as the user status without a status number. The system statuses are displayed separately from the user statuses.
¡        You have not maintained a status profile: Only the system statuses are displayed.
The statuses that are not active are displayed for selection. During selection, the corresponding system status is executed according to the settings in the control table.
    ·        R/3 transfer and R/3 status: Display of distribution status to SAP R/3 and other statuses for the business transaction in SAP R/3
    ·        System status / user status: detail view of the individual status area with the option of setting and resetting the status
    ·        Total item status: Overview of statuses at item level, such as inquiry, quotation, rejection and block status. The individual status lines are only shown if they are relevant for this transaction type
The following functions are available to you at item level:
    ·        System status / user status: you can set and reset statuses with restrictions.
    ·        Block / reason for rejection: you can reject an item or set a billing block. You must select a reason in both cases. You can also set a delivery block and credit block
Specifics for CRM Enterprise and Interaction Center
The following functions are also available to you:
    ·        You can lock or cancel all items at header level. You can set a billing block or cancellation for all items. This is a kind of “fast setting” of the flag at item level.
    ·        You can display the distribution status to SAP R/3 at item level.
    Specifics for the SAP GUI
You can display a status analysis. If you would like to analyze a problem individually, and would like to know for example why the system does not display a specific status for setting, you can use the status analysis to call up a technical analysis function.
    Specifics for Channel Management
The channel manager can set all user status values, while partners can only set the status values that are relevant for them. This relevance is determined via Channel Management-specific authorization keys. You can find further information in the Implementation Guide under Customer Relationship Management ®Transactions ® Basic Settings ®Status Management ® Define Status Authorization Keys..

  • Solution Manager Service Desk - Status Profile

    Dear Experts,
I have implemented External Service Desk message forwarding and its working fine. I can see "Send to External Service Desk" function under the ACTION node and when I choose that and save the message goes to the external SAP Service Desk (VAR).
    I have the following questions.
    1) I need to create a new status under the status profile SFLN0001 as "Sent to External System". If I do that what should I select as the transaction (business transaction @ the last column when I go though Transaction: CRMBS02).
    2) When I forward the message to the external service desk then the Status wont get transferred to the external service desk but everything else goes. What could be the problem ? (Changed status wont get updated once synchronized with the external help desk).
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Best Regards
    Kushan

    Dear Kobayashi,
Can you please help me to understand what you have said little bit more.
    I have implemented the note : 1388227
    Note talks about manual mapping.
Should i just do a mapping in Alternative Value Mapping  (1) for "SAPUserStatus" and "Copy Value" for incoming and Out going ? would that be enough ? I did that in both the SDs but didn't work
how do I do this blow mentioned activities ? could you please help me to understand ? where should I define these mappings ? where do I have to specify this "E0001SLFN0001" ??? could you please elaborate this little more in steps as I'm new to this ?
How should I do this "Prior to the mapping, the value with the ID of the status and the status profile is filled" ???
and also this "The status must also be mapped here in the format <status ID><status profile> (for example, E0001SLFN0001)" ???
    from the note 1388227 -
    Outbound processing:
The user status is transferred as an additional attribute (parameter IctAdditionalInfos) with the attribute name (AddInfoAttribute) "SAPUserStatus".  For this, it has to be included in the value mapping of the external interface.  Prior to the mapping, the value with the ID of the status and the status profile is filled (for example, E0001SLFN0001).
    Inbound processing:
When the attribute "SAPUserStatus" is transferred and the mapped value is not initial, the user status of the message is set to this value. The status must also be mapped here in the format <status ID><status profile> (for example, E0001SLFN0001).
If a user status is not transferred, or the mapping returns an initial value, the logic described above for setting the status based on the executed operation is carried out.
end of the note 1388227 -
Appreciate if you could kindly help me once again
    Thanks and Regards

  • To change user status profile on sales order at run time.

    Hi Experts,
We have defined status profile for Sales returns ( Doc type RE) which blocks the  return order on creation. There are two statuses here which are to remove the delivery block and to remove the billing block by authorised users.
The requirement is now to have a three level block ( three statuses ) on the same document. We can create a new status profile and assign it to a new return sales order tpye  but we want to avoid creating new document types. Since this document type is used across various companies in the group we can not assign a new profile on the existing RE document as well.
My question to all experts is
Is it possible to dynamically change the status profile assigned to the document type based on characterstics like sales org or company code etc? If any body has done this please let me know the user exit , function module, BADI etc where the necessary coding has been done.
Helpful answers will be rewarded with points.
I look forward to your co operation.

    Hi Liam,
In the Program MV45AFZZ in the FORM userexit_save_document
you use the following fn module to change the user status
    'STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN'
    Example
    IF t180-trtyp = 'H'.  "Only creation time
READ TABLE xvbap WITH KEY matnr = c_matnr.
IF sy-subrc = 0.  "If above material exist then change status
LOOP AT xvbap WHERE cuobj NE space
                       AND  matnr =  c_matnr.
          l_objnr = xvbap-objnr.
          CALL FUNCTION 'STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN'
            EXPORTING
              objnr               = l_objnr
              user_status         = 'E0013'  "Send ej IDOC
              set_chgkz           = 'X'
            EXCEPTIONS
              object_not_found    = 1
              status_inconsistent = 2

  • Change the status profile assigned to the line item from PROFA TO PROFB

    Hi Experts,
The issue we are having relates more to the fact that the code we have written is changing the item category, however the status profile has already been retrieved from configuration based on the original item category and therefore the status selection that we are getting is incorrect.
Item Category A -> Status Profile PROFA
Item Category B -> Status Profile PROFB
For example we have a line item and item category A is determined through config, this then retrieves its associated status profile PROFA. However we have then coded the system to change item category A to item category B.  However the status profile still remains PROFA.
We need to find a way to change the status profile assigned to the line item from PROFA to PROFB.
any quick inputs from any one please......
    Thanks in advance

  • User Status Profile for Outbound Delivery in EWM

    Hi Gurus,
I have the following scenario. We're working with invoice before goods issue. Invoice is created upon user request on transaction /scwm/fd on option "Request Invoice + Save".
After the invoice Request is sent to ERP we need to block the possibility of deletion of the outbound delivery.
Send the request to ERP changes system status DIN on outbound delivery header. We've created a custom status profile with just one status (code BS02).
This status is set when standard "Request Invoice" is set. This works fine. On this custom status, we've marked the option for business transaction "Delete Document" as forbidden. This doesn't work. Even with our custom status active, its still possible to delete outbound delivery.
The custom status is has the "Outbound Delivery" object type allowed and its assigned to standard "/SCDL/OUT_FD_STANDARD" profile.
Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?
    Thanks in advace.
    Felipe Tripodi

    Hi Christian,
    Thanks for your reply.
We've decided to implement badi "Validation for Actions" within delivery due to the lack of time to resolve the issue. This decision was based on note "1833378 - Prevent deletion of outbound delivery with invoice". This note gives you sample code for badi to check ERP billing status before deleting the document. We've adapted the code for our needs and it works great!
After your reply, i spent a little more time on user status, and found an OSS note that guides you trough some configuration steps on tcode /BOPF/CONF_UI. After applying this setting for business object /SCDL/FDO, the user status also worked fine!

  • Status profile in Marketing not showing

    Hi,
I am new to CRM and am at a loss with what to do next.
In the Marketing Planner, under the Status dropdown menu, I need to add a few other statuses of my own, for example,
         i) In Process
        ii) Finished
       iii) Rejected.
    so, what i did was:-
<i>spro -> CRM -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Status Management -> Change Status Profile for User Status</i>
and added in the fields the necessary details. then i click on "<i>object types</i>" and checked Campaign and Market Plan. then i click on <i>Save</i>.
When i go to "Marketing Plan", I'm unable to view the 3 statuses that i had created.  only see "Released", "Approved" and "Locked", which i assume is there by default.
did i do something wrong? Would appreciate for any sort of help....thanks!!

    Hi,
After you have selected the status profile to which you added the object type <i>Marketing plan</i> using <b>Environment->Status profiles</b> on menu bar and save, please open
    crm_mktpl
in another session and select the status profile and press Enter.
You should be able to see the user statuses (present in the status profile) in the <i>status</i> area.
Let me know if you find luck.
    Thanks,

  • Status Profile in Q Info record

    Hi,
I manintained a status profile in Q Info record for PPAP approval process and working fine for status changes from Proto to Pilot to Production lots. The functionality works fine  as long as each status change happenes automatically based on the UD for each lot.
But I am having a additional requirement which should prevent automatic status change based on Usage Decision.
It is this way, initially inspection lot will be created in 0101 (Proto) and status should change only wen the user set  the next status.
The next inspection lots will be created in 0102 inspection type, until next status is set by user manually.
If this status is set, next inspection lots should be generated with 01 inspection types.
I am able to do this perfectly in a automatic way, if no manual status changes are done. How can I make a status profile for supplier relationship, which will not skip to next status, unless it is set manually.
    Thansk
    Vineeth

    Sujith,
    Thanks for your reply.
Is there any standard option through which we can do status change in supply relationship. Without going for development.
Requirement is as below for 3 stage approval.
Proto stage 1- Inspection lot- 0101 origin
    Approved
Proto stage 2- "Manual" status change
    Approved
Pilot stage 1- Inspection lot of 0102
    Approved
Pilot stage 2- "Manual" stage change
    Approved
Bulk inspection lots of 01 inspection type
Could anyone suggest a standard procedure to manage this status change using supply relationship. I am unable to do this, as my requirement at certain stage is to change status manually. Please suggest a way to change a staus maually, after automated stages.
Any update on this, it would be helpful, if someone can show some light on this matter.
    Thanks

  • Contains errors and distribution lock

    Hi all,
We have a error as "contains error, distribution lock"(system status)in the status of the service confirmation. Document is in Open status and with this error any changes are not replicating to the r/3. This is the only one document with such error. All other confirmations are getting replicated to R/3. Bdoc error segment  for this confirmation is "NO upload into ERP,ERP adapter is called".
How can I remove this error? Any reports available to remove? what is the cause for this issue?
    Thanks In Advance

    Hi,
Please try to find the relevant bdoc in SMW01 . It is probably in intermediate status or there could be an error in the bdoc.
The must be a pending outbound queue or inbound queue in SMQ1 or SMQ2 in CRM.
One reason why the order is not uploaded properly can be due to filter settings in R3AC1 for object SALESDOCUMENT.
I.e. you would not allow to download the same document to CRM and therefore the complete loop is not run ok.
    Please check R3ac1 as well.
If this is sill not helping please check as well the report CRM_ODE_CHECK_CFG (as per note 490932) and check if there might be obvious settings which might block the data transfer of this order type.
    Best regards
    Christophe

  • User Status Profile at Component Level in PM order

    Hi All,
How can we assign a User Status Profile at the component level in a PM order.
System statuses are available at component level. And these system statuses control other business transaction also. I want similar to system status, I should have some User status, which can control some business transaction.
    Please share some inputs.
    Thanks,

    Hi Thyagarajan,
    Thanks for the reply.
My actual requirement is as follows:
The component's tab page will have many component line items.
I want a seperate PR for each one.
But I want that based on an influencing factor, I should be able to control, the timing when PR is generated for each component line item.
i.e. PR should not be generated together for all line items, but at different times for diff line items.
    Please give some input.
