Status Profile @ Item Level

Hi ALL,
        This is regarding Status profile. I have maitained status profie in Quotation item level.
Quotation has to approve by diff depts i.e. MM/PP sequentially.
so i have maintained- as
status no./ status/  initial status/ Lowest/Heighest/Position/Priority
1 / APRD / Approval req'd by MM / 1 / 2 / 1 / 1
2 / OKMM / OK by MM / 2 / 4 / 1 / 1
3 / NOKM / Not Ok by MM / 2 / 4 / 1 / 1
4 / OKPP / Ok by PP / 4 / 6 / 1 / 1
5 / NOKP / Not ok by PP / 4 / 6 / 1 / 1
6 / DONE / Finally approved / 6 / 6 / 1 / 1
when MM dept, trying to choose "NOKM- Not OK by MM" system is not allowing.
as per system settings, I should check status-2, before proceeding to status-3,
where as I want in such a way, either I can choose status 2 or 3.
Let me know, if anyone done this status profiles??

I have done the rel changes as suggested , system is still giving error.
as per my observation system is not checking at lowest/Heighest levels.
it is checking as per assigned "Status no" such no.1 , 2 & 3  so on.
( Lowest colums i have maintained "2" in step 2 & 3 which allowing me to move from 2 - 3 & 3 - 2, which is fine)
similarly system should allow me choosing from step-1 to step- 3 direclty,

    I need to know whether the shopping cart item is rejected or not.(need to know the approval status at item level) and then make the rejection reason as mandatory.

    What is your SRM Version  ?
    If you have implemented process control workflow for Item level approval, then.
    Once the approver rejects and item, the workflow sends the workitem back to the requester to make changes are accept the rejection. If the requester accepts the rejection then the workflow continues. If the workflow does not have any more approver then the shopping cart is approved and the line item which is rejected by approver is set to DELETE. i.e. BBP_PDIGP-DEL_IND is set to 'X'.

  • Oppurtunity status at item level

    Hi Experts,
    Could you please help know the oppurtunity status at item level (Distribution Status and Overall Status).
    When checked, it is referring to data element CRMT_DISTRIBUTED and CRMT_OVERALL_STATUS.
    Both have fixed values at domain level.
    Could you please help me finding, in which table this data is stored at item level.

    For system status, CRM_JEST-STAT = I****, you can find the the defination with t-cd BS23.
    For user status, CRM_JEST-STAT = E****, please check table TJ30.

  • User status in item level in Interaction center

    I confirgue the sales function in Interaction center. I want to set user status in Item level. But I don't find the user status field in item level in UI. Could you tell me how find user status field?

         Yes, I have already  confirgued status management and assigned to item category. I can see the status appear  in back office UI but not in Interaction center. So it is strange.

  • Sales Order: confirmation status at item level

    Hi,
    I am trying to locate a status field in sales order tables which truly reflects the item level quantity confirmation. I have checked table VBUP. In some cases field BESTA, COSTA shows the status correctly. But I am not able to find a table which is true in all cases. I can do it by checking confirmed quantity at schedule line level, but trying to avoid that since it involves addition of schedule line confirmed quantities etc.
    Any ideas?

  • Status at Item level

    Hello all,
    I created an order with 1 line item. The schedule lines are published and have status 60. But still the line item shows the status as 40. I suppose it should be 60. Can anyone tell me the reason for this.

  • Apporval Overview displays incorrect status on item level after ordering

    Hi all,
    I am on SRM 7.0 and using the process-controlled workflow.
    I am on SP2.
    I set up a schema which has 1 approval step for SC > $10.000. The decision set is for the entire document.
    When I am creating the SC, BEFORE I hit order, I click on the item number of eg. my first item, so the 'Details for item 1' screen appears.
    Then I choose the  'Approval Process Overview' tab, and the approval overview displays correctly. The status of the one approver step is  'Open (No Decision Made)', under both header and item tab.
    When I display the same SC trough 'advanced search' immediatley AFTER ordered it and no approver has touched the SC yet,
    the overview the item displays the correct status 'awaiting approval'.
    But when i go to the item details, approval process overview tab (as described above) the status displays 'User Decision: Approved'
    There is no time entered for 'processed on'. The approver does have the workitem in the powl list and swi6 shows correlty that the workitem is in the approver inbox. So the approval workflow is working correctly, and it is just a display issue.
    It looks like it is just a bug, but I couldn't find any notes on it.
    Can anybody help me to correct this?

    Hi Ulrike,
    I replicated exactly the steps your described but do not see the same system behaviour. On my system, just after creating the cart, in the section 'Approval status details for selected item', the status is 'No user decision'.
    I searched notes and messages and found nothing related to this issue.
    Can you send me screenshots showing exactly the steps you followed just to make sure I am following same steps in the replication.

  • USER STATUS For Inquiry at Item level in VA12.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    In Customer Inquiry we have maintained User Status at item level as 10,20,30,40 as radiaobutton.
    Now we have to trigger event to initiate workflow as User changes User status from 10 to 20 like that.Currently
    if user changes status from 10 to 20 in VA12 we get BO BUS2030 & Event 'Change'.
    But we unable to trace exact changed status of that item in that particular Inquiry numbers.
    1.All such user status are stored in JESt table but its get updated only after save button.So if i also try to use User exit to trigger Event
    but i am unable to get Run time values of JEST table (USER STATUS).
    2.If i go for BSVW (STATUS MGT ), in that we have 'VBK-SALES Header' & 'VBP-SALES ITEM' status present.But we have maintained User status at item level
      so if we use 'VBP' then we didn't get BUS2030 BO & in Header 'VBK' we get BUS2030 but its at header level..so its didn,t give us item level status.
    So Pease suggest me some way to handle such situation.

    So what is your problem? You are not able to trace for which item the event got triggered?
    I think you can make use of Change document table CDPOS and CDHDR to check which item had a latest change in status and accordingly incorporate this info in Workflow.

    Below are some customization for status management:
    Status Management
    Use
    Status Management allows you to control whether documents are visible to particular user groups. The system uses status management in the approval process.
    Prerequisites
    The status management service must have been activated for the repository in which the documents are stored. This setting is made by an administrator.
    Features
    The system sets the status automatically if you carry out an action, for example, if you send a document to be approved before it is published (see Publishing with an Approval Process).
    The status of a document is displayed in its Details dialog box. A document can have the following statuses:
    Status
    Visibility
    In Progress
    Only visible to authors (users with write permission) and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    For Approval
    Only visible to authors (users with write permission), approvers, and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    Rejected
    Only visible to authors (users with write permission), approvers, and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    Released
    Visible to all users with read permission.
    Archived
    Only visible to authors (users with write permission) and users with the service permission Approver Administration.
    Status Management in Business Transactions
    Use
    You can use the general SAP Status Management when processing business transactions.
    You can document the current processing status of an object (for example, a sales order), using status management. The current object state can consist of a combination of individual statuses. Any number of statuses can be set for an object.
    The system statuses Open and Do not distribute and the user statuses Quotation created and Do not print can be active simultaneously in a quotation.
    Each status fulfills two functions:
    ·        It informs you that a specific status has been set (for example, the quotation was released).
    ·        It specifies which step you can or cannot take next (for example, release is allowed).
    If a business transaction is executed, this can set or delete one or several statuses for the relevant object. The switch between status and transaction can be portrayed as follows:
    Statuses are portrayed in the system in two different ways:
    ·        As 30 character text
    ·        As 4 character abbreviation (only in status profile)
    Both methods of portrayal are language-dependent.
    There are two types of status:
    ·        System status: Status that is a status set by the system, which informs the user that the system has executed a specific business transaction on an object. You can only influence this status if you execute a business transaction that changes the system status.
    If you release a quotation, the system automatically sets the system status to Released.
    However, there are also some system statuses in CRM that the user can set or reset as he wishes, for example, Do not distribute. These statuses are defined in the CRMC_STATUS_PROC table.
    ·        User status: Status that you set, that you can create as additional information to the existing system status. You define a user status in a Status Profile that is created in Customizing for business transactions. You can define and activate as many user statuses as you wish. A status profile can then be assigned to the following in Customizing for business transactions:
    ¡        To a transaction type (for header status)
    ¡        To item categories (for item status)
    A status profile can be assigned to several transaction types and item categories.
    System status and user status influence the business transactions in the same way.
    The header status is independent of the item status. One exception is the status Completed. If all items have the status Completed, the header status is also set to Completed.
    Integration
    A business transaction is not a static object, but it has its own life cycle, which starts when it is opened and ends when it is completed. During this time, different business transactions change the business transaction. It is, for example, forwarded for release or set to completed.
    There are four system statuses that represent the life cycle of the business transaction:
    ·        Open: has been recently created and not yet processed (for example, contract from the Internet)
    ·        In process: administrator is clearing up questions
    ·        Released: contract is complete and legal. Follow-up processes can be started (printing, billing, distribution, releases and so on)
    ·        Completed: All actions directly linked to contract are completed
    ·        Closed: all actions indirectly linked to the contract are closed (for example, from R/3: batch run to actual costs)
    Prerequisites
    If you want to display and maintain the user statuses, you need to have maintained a status profile and assigned it to the relevant transaction types and item categories. To do this, go to Customizing and choose Customer Relationship Management  ® Transactions ® Basic Settings  ® Status Management. You have made the assignments in the activities Define Transaction Types and Define Item Categories.
    Features
    You can set and delete a status. Statuses that can be set and deleted always reflect the current document situation. However, the system only displays the statuses for setting that can actually be set, with reference to the current transaction status.
    The following functions are available to you at header level:
    ·        Display of system and user status
    ¡        You have maintained a status profile: The system displays the user status that is assigned a status number, as well as the user status without a status number. The system statuses are displayed separately from the user statuses.
    ¡        You have not maintained a status profile: Only the system statuses are displayed.
    The statuses that are not active are displayed for selection. During selection, the corresponding system status is executed according to the settings in the control table.
    ·        R/3 transfer and R/3 status: Display of distribution status to SAP R/3 and other statuses for the business transaction in SAP R/3
    ·        System status / user status: detail view of the individual status area with the option of setting and resetting the status
    ·        Total item status: Overview of statuses at item level, such as inquiry, quotation, rejection and block status. The individual status lines are only shown if they are relevant for this transaction type
    The following functions are available to you at item level:
    ·        System status / user status: you can set and reset statuses with restrictions.
    ·        Block / reason for rejection: you can reject an item or set a billing block. You must select a reason in both cases. You can also set a delivery block and credit block
    Specifics for CRM Enterprise and Interaction Center
    The following functions are also available to you:
    ·        You can lock or cancel all items at header level. You can set a billing block or cancellation for all items. This is a kind of “fast setting” of the flag at item level.
    ·        You can display the distribution status to SAP R/3 at item level.
    Specifics for the SAP GUI
    You can display a status analysis. If you would like to analyze a problem individually, and would like to know for example why the system does not display a specific status for setting, you can use the status analysis to call up a technical analysis function.
    Specifics for Channel Management
    The channel manager can set all user status values, while partners can only set the status values that are relevant for them. This relevance is determined via Channel Management-specific authorization keys. You can find further information in the Implementation Guide under Customer Relationship Management ®Transactions ® Basic Settings ®Status Management ® Define Status Authorization Keys..

  • How to maintain Userstatus in item level for  Quotation ?

    I am working on CRM 7.0 Lean order  Quotation..
    I have field called ;Status' in item level. But it is system status.
    I need to add 'User status' assignment block.
    For header level there is field called' userstatus' but for item the standard field is not there.
    So I need to create a Z field with DDLB and need to maintain values from VA23 (ECC syatem) are existing for the field Userstatus..
    I can do by using AET, the problem is If I select an option from DDLB, corresponding checkbox in userstatus  in ECC system need to be checked.
    Can u Please provide anyy'LORD' interface or any solution..

    Hi,
    You can save text using FM 'SAVE_TEXT' provided you know the ID and OBJECT.
    For Sales Order Header text usually the OBJECT is 'VBBK' and the NUMBER is '<SO Number>'.
    For Sales Order Item text usually the OBJECT is 'VBBP' and the NUMBER is '<SO Number><Item Number>'.
    You will have to find out the ID of the Text from its attributes.

    Hi friends,
    I have created a status profile at the header with option like CRTD and APPRD. The transaction control is Forbid billing when CRTD and Allow Billing when APPRD. I have attached this profile to the Sales document header.
    At the item level i have created status profile with option like DUE and INST with transcation control Forbid billing when DUE and Allow Billing when INST.
    My problem is when I set the status as APPRD at header, the billing of items with status DUE takes place.
    Please suggest how to restrict billing of items where the Status is DUE.

    In which tab you are maintaining delivery block in the delivery item data or order item data.
    As per my concern there is no field called Delivery Block in the item data of the sales order and delivery.
    In the header data you have.

  • How to change status in status profile at header level in background

    Hi,
    I have customized the standard sales order screen with status profile at header level.
    In that, I have set the check boxes as created, delivered, approved and rejected.
    The requirement is, whenever the order is created through VA01, need to check the order as 'Created' one in the status profile.
    It is not possible for the user to mark this one manaully. I think, this can be done via only exits.
    Please confirm this and how this can be proceed.

    For maintaining header conditions, Choose  Header--> Conditions  from menu bar.
    For maintaining Delivery address, first select your Item, then click on "Truck" icon. Here you can maintain your delivery address.
    Similarly, Header Texts and Item Texts will be maintained in Header> Texts,  Item> Texts from the Menu Bar.

    Goto SPRO>Customer Relationship Management>Transactions>Basic Settings>Define Item Categories, Select your Item category and click on Details. Witin profiles set type Assign Status profile you created against field Status profile.

    My actual requirement is as follows:
    The component's tab page will have many component line items.
    I want a seperate PR for each one.
    But I want that based on an influencing factor, I should be able to control, the timing when PR is generated for each component line item.
    i.e. PR should not be generated together for all line items, but at different times for diff line items.
    Please give some input.
