Still no solution

Question

I have a frame that appears when called, but I want the program code not to continue until the frame that appears is deactivated. Here is the code that I have people have given me several solutions all to no avail.

I want the frame to show here before the code continues. I have tried putting a test System.out.println("TEST " + i ) . 'i' is wrapped in a for loop just to test if the frame shows before the program continues. For some reason even though the memframe.show() command is executed the memframe is not shown completely.(Just a grey background). If I run the program with out the following try{ } statement the frame does show. I do not understand why. Why does the frame not show right after the command is executed?

code continues on til the end of this method. Note, that the code will continue on if I take the while-loop out with the waiitObject or Thread.sleep(200) (both do not work for what I am trying to do ) and after it is executed then the memframe appears it I take out the memframe.dispose() statement in the WindowListener. Why does it not appear right after I execute memframe.show() in this method?

As I've told you twice, this is almost certainly a problem of your ProcessEntry method being called from the dispatcher thread (though you don't show the code that calls it, the symptoms you describe are characteristic).
Meanwhile your wait stuff is getting even further from what it should be. wait must be paired with notify on the same object or it will wait forever.
