STO Issue,Intra company

Hi,
We have created one document for plant to plant STO within same company code. Here we have two separate profit center for two plant. When I will do PGI inventory account entry is generated  and value is moving from one profit center to another but problem is that customer has not done MIGO of same document.
So customer is asking if we will not receive good in receiving plant then profit center of receiving should not be update because it reflect in balance sheet of receiving plant and they can not maintain balance.
Please suggest,Even account entry will not be generating but profit center of receiving plant should not be update without MIGO.

Hi Khapre,
Seems you are using Mvt Type 647 for your STO which will not post the PGI stock in transit. You should user 641 to avoide postings for GR.

  • Intra-Company STO freight Charge

    Hi all,
As we know, during Intra-company STO there is no FI posting. But my client wants to post the Freight charge and analyzes it u2026
What is the different option with this ??? means how I post Freight charge for Intra-Company .
    Regards
    Asim

    hI,
Ofcorse during UB type STO for intra company PO there is no FI postings for stocks , system allows to post the frieght and give provision in the PO.
Please check at sprommpurchasingconditionsprice determination process--calculation schema and check which price schema is assigned to the document type UB and the condition types in the schema. This default schema can be used for the postings. You can do GR for the same and MIRO too.
Take the F4 in the conditions tab for condition types and use them.

  • Intra company STO- MRP element reservations

    Dear All'
I request your help to resolve following issue.
I have created Intra company STOs based on different plant's requirements. say PO# 1, 2, 3...100.
The system is reserving available qty based on POs in sequence. When I process PO# 56 for example, when doing PGI in VL02N, the system is throwing error saying deficit of qty in stock.
But I can see stock as available in MMBE, but in mD04, mrp elements are created based on POs created earlier.
But business needs can be, I can process any PO first for delivery and PGI based on urgency.
Request you help in this regard.
    Best Regards

    Hi Maria,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
I have checked ATP, that is not activated.

  • How to use frieght cost in intra company STO

how to use frieght cost in intra company STO

For Inter company STO, pls follow the below steps.
    1) Create delivering plant as vendor in receiving plant’s company code & sales area – XK01
    2) From the vendor number created in step 1, create Vendor info record for the material that needs to be stock transferred.
    3) Ensure material is extended to both plants
    4) Delivering plant must be assigned to the receiving sales organization
    5) In the Vendor info record, go to MK03 and change the “add purchasing data” to delivering plant.
    6) Create receiving plant as customer in delivering plant’s company code & sales area.
    7) Ensure Purchase organization for the receiving plant is maintained
    8) Go to IMG- Materials Management-Purchasing-Purchase Order-Set up stock transport order ( transaction code:OMGN) and complete all the settings.
    Note:
Maintain receiving plant / customer number from step 6/ delivering sales area
Delivering plant/ customer number from step 6/ receiving sales area
Maintain NLCC replenishment for cross company stock transfer with delivery type NB
    9) ME25- Create Purchase Order from receiving plant
    10) VL10B - Create delivery order from delivering plant’s shipping point with reference to the purchase order number raised in step 9.
    Save.
    11) Go to VL02n & pick /post goods issue for the delivery order number created in step 10
    12) Do VF01 & bill to customer
In step 8 You have the option of UB type in place of NB
In step 10 you can also use VL04.
In step 12 you select F8 type (pro-forma invoice).
    Reward if useful.

  • Intra-Company  STO)

    Hi All,
This is regarding the Intra-company code STO between two plants for Same Company Code.
We have one Plant 1010 in Mumbai, which is mapped in SAP and another plant in Delhi, which is not mapped in SAP.
Both are under same legal entity i.e., same Company Code 1000.
Now we want to map the Delhi plant in to SAP, with Delhi Plant 1020 , so that we can do the STO.
Under STO, we would like to raise the Invoice, Excise Invoice on the Receiving Plant.
As far I understand we can raise the invoice for Cross-Company codes, but in our scenario, both the plants belong to same Company Code 1000.
So, how can we map the entire scenario in SAP, so that I can raise the Invoice on the receiving plant 1020 becoz., excise is to be applicable as the goods are moving out of Factory.
Kindly, guide me and suggest me as to how I need to proceed with the current scenario and the possibilities exists, if any.
    Thanks and regards,
    SAP Prod

    Dear
First define both the plants in system.
    1) Then define both plants as vendors (XK01) and as customers (XD01)
    2) Prepare STO between one plant and another ( Supplying plant as mumbai and receiving as delhi)
    3) Prepare a Goods Isue with Mvt 351 (MIGO - Mumbai Plant will issue Goods with reference to the PO)
    4) Prepare an excise inovice with reference to the Goods Issue ( J1IS - enter transaction as MATD and enter the GI Document No.)
    5) Post the Excise Invoice.
    6) Enter GR with reference to the PO (Delhi plants PO)
    7) During MIGO in the excise invoice tab enter the excise invoice no. of mumbai plant.  The system will automatically pick up the excise values.
    8) Post the GR
    Thanks

  • Error in MIGO durng intra-company stock transfer by STO

    Dear gurus,
I am facing an error while posting MIGO during intra-company plant to plant STO.
    Settings for STO:
    SPRO >IMG > MM >Purchasing > Purchase Order>set up Stock Transport Order
    Define Shipping Data
    Define/assign Checking rule
    Assign Delivery Type
    Assign Doc type
I have maintained the following pre-requisite master data
    1. Supplying/Receiving plants are created as customer/vendor master
    2. Excise details (customer/Vendor/Plant) data are maintained in J1ID
    3. Assessable value is entered in J1ID
    Process flow:
    1. ME21n - Create STO (PO type:UB)
    2. VL10B - Create Outbound Delivery
    3. VL02N - PGI
    4. VF01 - Create Pro-forma Invoice (Stock Transfer Invoice)
    5. J1IIN - Post Excise Invoice
    at the receiving Plant
    6. MIGO-Post Goods Receipt.
After entering the excise invoice and clicking on CHECK buttin in MIGO, the following errors are appearing
    1. Excise Details are not maintained for Vendor .-Message no. 8I565
    2. Maintain Vendor for the excise invoice -Message no. 4F185
    3. Please check excise base for the item is zero ! -Message no. 4F121
    Please reply your valuable suggestions.
    Regards,
    Anbu

    Hi Anbu..
Post Migo without excise entry and try in J1IG to post the excise invoice.
In J1iG..enter material doc of GR ,Excise invoice no from Manufac plant, check own plant and
Click Details to get the excise values as in excise invoice.
    Hope this works !!

  • Inspection lot with 01 origin for stock transfer (Intra company STO)?

    Hi Sap Gurus,
As per standard SAP configuration for 101 movement type, 08 is the inspection type used for stock transfers (Intra company STO). But, there is a requirement from business to use 01 for Intra STO. Is it possible to get an inspection lot with 01 origin while GR to the delivery created for Intra STO ( Stock transfer B/n plants from same company code)?.
    Thanks in advance
    Venkat V

    Hi All,
    Thanks for your replies..
Its STO Purchase order between two plants under same company code. System triggers movement type 101 with movement indicator B - Goods movement for Purchase order and Receipt indicator X - Stock transport order. Here system expects inspection lot origin 08 as per standard SAP configuration(OMJJ).
I just wanted to check, is it possible to get inspection lot from 01 origin for this type of stock transfers. If anyone who worked on this area, please share your inputs.
    Thanks in advance

  • Intra Company STO pricing Procedure assignment

    Hi
In intracompany STO we need to raise invoice from the supplying plant to receiving plant. So i created STO pricing Procedure with Cost price plus Profit margin and transportation cost .Now where to assign this pricing procedure?Whether to assign this to NL Delivery doc type or in IV billing doc type.
    Regards
    Jyoti

    JYOTI PRAKASH KUNNAR,
    1. The Delivery Type that you use is NL for Intra company STO
    2. PO Document Type you use is UB
you will mainatin Assignemnt of the above
img>material managment>purchasing>purchase order>set up stock transport order--->assign delivery and checking rule
    3. NLN is item category used for Intra STO
    4. STock Transfer pricing procedure is maintained in SD for Billing with Docu PP + Custpp
    5. The Flow of Pricing is taken care by copy controls VTFL choose NL Delivery type and intra company billing type , choose item category NLN where Pricing type = B, Price Source = Purchase order.
BEing INTRA stock scenario we don't use IV billing. Because transaction is happening within company code between two plants.

  • Intra Company STO with Billing

    Hello,
Let me explain the Basic requirement from our client.
One Company code has 15 plants.
Material are being transferred across plants
We record revenue or expenditure to the respective plant when transfer.
As I had inquired and surfed in many threads,we couldnt get the better solution as everyone suggesting to create separate plant as company code and do STO Inter company for getting the billing.
But we required intra company STO with Billing.
    Any advice would be appreciated
    with regards,
    Vignesh

    Hi,
Expenditure occur for transferring material between two plants, can be capture in a condition type and then do invoice for transferring value
Refer a discussion to capture transferring amount in STO

  • Intra company STO repair

    Hello All,
Please inform what is the best way to handle the intra company STO repair material. STO with SD delivery is done from plant 10 to plant 30 and few materials are needed to send back to plant 10 (supplying plant) for repair due to quality problems. what can be done here and how to amend the cost?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards,
    Rajashree

Perform a STO and then let the process be carried out in the other plant through production order.
And get back the product thru another STO.

    Deepak.

  • Overdelivery in intra-company stock transport order

    Hello,
I have the following scenario - I have two plants, 1000 and 2000, both under the same company code.
I transfer 450KG of material 123456 from plant 1000 using STO with SD (mvt. type 641), material is packed in HUs. In the receiving plant, the HUs are being place on a weight to check their actual weight. It;s possible for the actual weight be greater than the GI weight of 450KG (for example, due to weight scale accuracy issues) . When doing GR, I need to be able to receive quantity greater than the GI quantity. That is not allowed in stock transport order (per note 212387). For the same scenario with intercompany STO (GI mvt type 643) I'm able to post GR quantity which is greater than GI qty.
Any suggestion on how to solve this? Can I create a customer order type that is both intra-company and allows for overdelivery?
    Thanks,
    Yossi

a overdelivery does not make any sense in stock transfers, you would solve the problem of the stock accuracy in the receiving plant, but at the same time you create another problem with a negative stock in transit, that never gets cleared.
a STO having stock left in transit is never considered as closed. even intercompany stock transfers are not considered as closed, even you can receive more than issued.
Latest when archiving purchasing documents then you will see all your error in the process design, because only closed business cases can be archived.
in stock transfer business you always have to care about both sides, you cannot just care about the receiving plant and ignore the problems of the sending plant.

  • Intra Company Stock Transport Order

    Hi,
This is a scenario of Intra Company Stock Transfer (using Stock Transport Order with document type UB) from one manufacturing plant to another manufacturing plant within the same company code.
I have created STO, prepared Outbound Delivery with T-Code VL10B and did PGI. Billing was done with T-code VF01 and Outbound Excise Invoice was created with T-Code J1IIN
While doing Goods Receipt in the Receiving plant with the T-code MIGO, when I referred the outbound excise invoice that was created in the previous step with the T-code J1IIN (put Excise Invoice No. and Date), I got the following error message "Excise invoice doesn't exist in the supplying plant" and not any Excise Value is flowing from the Excise Invoice in the screen of MIGO.
The CIN configuration and master data in J1ID seems to be ok.
Please provide the expert opinions to overcome the issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Rajesh Praveen

I did Goods Receipt with reference to Outbound Delivery in the Receiving Plant without referring any Excise Invoice Number (as our system has been designed now like this). I updated part RG23A part 1 using the material document number (generated as a result of Goods Receipt) in J1I5.
Now I am trying to post RG23A part 2 in J1IEX with reference to the material document number (generated as a result of Goods Receipt) and putting the Excise Number created in J1IIN earlier. The system is picking BED, ECS and SECess values but the value of Base Value is not being picked up as a result of which I am not able to post the Excise Invoice.
Please provide some idea to resolve this
    Thanks in advance

  • Stock Transport Order for Intra Company Code Plants (UB Document Type)

    Hi All,
I have a doubt with respect to Intra Company Code Stock Transport Order (Document Type: UB).
When you do Post Goods Issue (PGI) with reference to Outbound Delivery, Accounting Document is generated.
But, when you do Goods Receipt with reference to Outbound Delivery, Accounting Document is not generated.
I am OK with the Receiving part.
But, I am not clear about the Issue part.
    Please clarify this doubt.
Looking for the kind respons from all.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Srinivasa M.S
    +91-7387702227

    Hi Srinivasa,
In STO, the issuing plant stock is credited and receiving plant stock is debited at the PGI from supplying plant. Then at the receiving plant accounting entry is not generated as the receiving plant stock is already debited at PGI accounting entry in the supplying plant.
Go through the below SAP documentation,

  • Inter and Intra Company Stock Transport Orders

    Hi All,
has anyone set up the following scenarios?
    1. Intra Company Stock Transport Orders between 2 plants in the same company code and same Sales Org
i.e Plant 0001 (Supplying Plant) exists for Company Code 0001 and Sales Org 0001
Plant 0002 (Receiving Plant) exists for Company Code 0001 and Sales Org 0001
    2. Inter Company Stock Transport Orders between 2 plants in different company codes and different Sales Orgs
i.e. Plant 0003 (Supplying Plant) exists for Company Code 0002 and Sales Org 0002
Plant 0002 (Receiving Plant) exists for Company Code 0001 and Sales Org 0001
We are unable to get both scenarios to work at the same time due to the fact that only one Sales organization for intercompany billing can be assigned to a plant.
    Regards
    Chris
