Stock Level over time

I would like to build a query that reports the stock level for each posting period over time.  I found these two tables that appear to have a structure for this data, but when I look at these tables I see that they are empty:
S197 Periodic storage location stock
S198 Periodic plant stock
Is there a better place to get this information?
Thanks,
Kent

MMBE tells the current stock at this time.  I want to get historical stock information over time.  I am looking for a table that holds this information versus a TCODE.  I know many TCODES to get the data, I just can't find a table that stores the data.
Thanks,
Kent

  • Skype using High levels of RAM over time

So recently i've noticed that Skype has been using increased levels of RAM over time.  Before i think 7.1 it sat at a steady 170k or lower but since the recent update, it seems to scale all the way up to nearly using 80% of my RAM after being on for an hour. Is there a reason this happens or is it a memory leak issue?

    Hi,
I'm having the same issue as you.
For my situation, with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, with 8 GB of RAM  available, Skype use randomly from 400 Mb to 1.5 Gb of Ram slowing down all the PC..
I have to kill the Skype process for working well.
    My SKYPE version is 7.3.0.101.
I need to resolve this problem (and, from my point of view, uninstall the newest version and install the older one is not a solution)
    Thanks in advance

  • Target Stock Level ( Method 1 -  Time Dependent) in SNP

    Hi Guys,
I am not able to use the Target Stock level method 1 ( Time Dependent Target Stock level method ) in SNP heuristics. Ideally if I assign the above target stock method for a particular Product Liocation combination, I should get he keyfigure row ' Target Day's Supply' editable when I open the planning book  and select the above Product Location combination in the shuffler, by which I can manually enter the target day's supply for any bucket. But I am getting it greyed out and not editable.
    Pls help.
    Thanks
    Ameet

I am hoping you have ensured that in planning book design the key figure is defined as editable. Make sure that while designing the planning book, you copy the SAP standard planning book while configuring the target stock level method.

  • Real time stock levels

    Hello
Could anybody help me find a solution to my problem please?
I would like a report to run that tells me the (exact) stock levels of all materials that I can save as xls.
If it can be done automatically that would be even better.
    Thanks

Is there anyway to change the format to a simple table with each item having its own line?
    e.g  material - description - stock level
this would make it easier to view when converted to spreadsheet?

  • Max Stock & Good Receipt Time with Optimizer

    Hello,
We are attempting to use the optimizer to maintain a max stock level (Max Stock = 750 ) constraint at a location. We are also using a Good Receipt time (Good Receipt = 1 day) for this location/product. Currently when we execute the optimizer (discrete) the system is exceeding our max stock value we have maintained in the product master because of the Goods Receipt Time.
For example on 09/15 we have an on hand quantity of 200 units. On 09/16 we have demand for 200 units, bringing our on hand quantity to 0 units. On 09/17 we have a receipt of 950 units to fulfill the demand of 200 units and bring our stock up to maximum level, resulting in a stock on hand quantity of 750 units for this day, which is our maximum stock level for each day.
However, the receipt of 950 units on 09/17 is in reality received at the location on 09/16, because only one-day transport time is defined. Utilization of Goods Receipt Time is causing us to go over our max stock of 750 units defined. Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
    Thanks

I would assume max stock level to be a softer constraint compared with meeting the demand on time. Can you confirm what would have happened had you received 950 units one day later, say by decreasing the GR days to 0 ? If the receipt date were pushed out without violating the max the stock level, I would conclude the max soft level to be a soft constraint.
Also check the result when GR time is 2 days.
I would also experiment with keeping inital stock on hand beyond the max stock level and watch it fall below max stock level before calling any receipts.

  • Zero Stock levels

    Hi
I'm looking to generate a report that counts the number of days an item is at zero stock within each warehouse, over a specified time.
I've tried various ways yet seem to fail to get a concise report.  Would anybody be able to help?

    Hi Gordon
Thank you for your response, and that query worked as expected once I realised that the Warehouse variable needed to be %1.
If you could help me a little further then that would be most kind?
I've amended the code to bring item descriptions (as below), but I really would like to go further.
    1.
It would be important for me to select a date range, from and to, and the query to show the number of days out of stock.  Would it be  easier for the report to show in columns the stock level each day, and so I could see a pattern of gap periods?  Either that or a count of zero stock days over a given period.
    2.
I would also need to filter the results by certain item properties (Qrygroup), or am I asking too much!
Anyways this is where I got to:
    Select T0.ItemCode, T0.[Dscription], sum(T0.InQty - T0.OutQty) as "Qty In/Out"
    from dbo.OINM T0
    Where T0.DocDate <= '[%0]' and T0.InQty != T0.OutQty and t0.Warehouse LIKE '%[%1]%'
    Group by T0.[Dscription], T0.ItemCode Having sum(T0.InQty) = sum(T0.OutQty)
    Order by T0.ItemCode
    Many thanks

  • Change over time on production line.

    Hi Experts,
We have a scenario where we need to schedule the orders also considering the changeover times on a production line from one product to another. Suppose I am producing product A on the line and my next product is B, say the change over time is 10 mins. But suppose if I am changing from product C to product B, then the changeover time is 15 mins. Similarly it is different from one product to other based on what will be produced on the line next.
    Like,
    A---->B is 10mins
    C----->B is 15 mins
D----->C is 30 mins and so on.
A big matrix exists for the same.
Is there any way that I will be able to handle this in standard SAP? Ideas will be much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Sachin

    Hi,
You need to maintain the Setup Group Key in the routing, and then in capacity levelling table you group orders by this key, and then there's a function to reduce/change setup time for each order and for the group.
Definition of Setup Group Key - transaction OP43
Definition of Setup Matrix - transaction OPDA. In here you define the "new" setup times that substitute the "old" setup times, and are setup group dependent.
In the routing opration detail in CA02 or CA01 choose the setup group key on the "general Data" part.
For the capacity levelling part, it is too complex to guide you here.

  • Problems creating aggregation levels over a Multiprovider

    Hi experts,
When I create a aggregation level over a multiprovider the system returns an error " Infoprovider XX cannot be used for definition". I have read other threads with the same question and its solutions. I have checked my system and all is correct. The multiprovider has linked five infoproviders, one as real time.
    Any Idea?
Please, it is very urgent to solve this.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Mayank and Ravi,
I have checked the identification of chars and kf. The realtime cube has five chars and a kf. All of them are assigned with all cubes witch are linked with the multiprovider.
I have tried by removing the realtime cube and the system shows the same error message. I have also tried by reactivating the cubes and multicube.
    Any idea?
    Thanks.

  • Update Current Stock levels

Hi i am currenlty having a problem with some pl/sql and wondere if somebody could help me. Im trying to write a trigger so that when a client chooses their product it deducts the amount the client has chosen from the products stock list. Here is what i have so far:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER "STOCK"
    AFTER
    insert or update on "ORDERLINE"
    begin
    update products p set product_stock =
    (select sum(p.product_stock - ol.quantity) from products p, orderline ol
    where p.product_id = ol.product_id);
    end;
currently this seems to be adding high numbers to the stock level for all products and setting them the same i need to have it do the calculation on seperate products
    Thanx in advanced Chris

    user11967314 wrote:
Ok the trigger works wondefullyNo it does not. It only works "wonderfully" in a single session mode. In multi-session mode it is a recipie for a deadlock. Assume user1 orders product1 and then product2 while user2 orders product2 and then product1. Both users order first item at the same time. So trigger in user1 session updates and therefore locks product1 row in table products while user2 session updates and therefore locks product2 row in table products. Now user1 orders product2 and since user2 has product2 row in table products locked, user1 session waits for that lock to be relased. Meawhile user2 orders product1 and since user1 has product1 row in table products locked he waits for that lock to be relased. Voila, we have a deadlock.

I routinely clear the cache (all options checked off), and this has little to no effect on either #1 or #2. Whenever I restart FF, it takes less than 24 hours to get back to memory-hog state. Regardless of number of tabs - I've tested that too, even just a couple of tabs over time will see memory swallowed up.

  • Color Filling Over Time Help

Hello, I am working on an audio template. I am trying to make a waveform similar to the one you can see in Soundcloud. I've managed to program an expression to generate the waveform. But I am having an issue with filling up the waveform with a color with respect to time. For example, do you see on soundcloud how the waveform fills up orange as the song progresses? This is the concept I am trying to work on. Here is what I have so far:
I want the blue bar to move to the right over time, but I only want the white parts of the waveform to turn blue as it progresses (the rest of the blue solid hidden). How would I go about doing this? My knowledge in After Effects is limited so any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you
Please let me know if you need more information

So just to clarify you are trying to create a levels representation for the duration of an audio file and not an animated audio frequency analysis. If that's what you're doing just pre-compose those hundreds of layers or nest the comp in your main comp and then use the track matte. If it were me I'd probably just import the audio layer into the comp, press the L key twice to reveal the audio wave form, press the ~ key to make the timeline full screen, expand the wave form, take a screenshot, add the screenshot to the comp, apply Keylight, then add a shape layer below the screenshot, set the screenshot as an inverted alpha track matte for the animated gradient and be done with it. This comp would be nested in my main comp to complete the effect.
If I wanted a different look for the waveform I would edit the screenshot in Photoshop or use a Premiere Pro or any other program to capture a screenshot of the waveform. Since you've done all the work of creating your hundreds of layers I'd just pre-compose them all, drop a shape layer with an animated gradient below the pre-comp and set up the track matte.

  • Display Stock level for every user

    Hi
I need to display the stock level for each user (partdetail.aspx). So they know how many they can order.
I know it is only displaying for the superusers. Is there anyway of display the stock level for other users as well rather than just showing the message "in stock"
    Thanks
    Sanjaya

Hey Sanjaya, that would probably require writing your own control ... but even if you do it, remember that stock levels in WebTools are not immediately reduced when an order is placed. For example if you have 10 in stock and someone places an order for 5, another customer will still see 10 in stock. It isn't until the next synch when the order is placed in SBO and its inventory is affected that the new inventory numbers are reflected in WebTools.
I guess you could write a smarter control that looked up the last inventory and subtracted any orders that haven't synched yet to get a better "real-time" inventory count. However this still doesn't help if an order is placed directly in SBO and WebTools doesn't know about it.
At least this is the way it worked the last time I looked into it.

  • Tracking Stock levels

    Hello,
We have multiple plants around the U.S. and we are having trouble tracking the sales of parts out of the distribution center.
My company currently use MB51 to determine stocking levels.  The only problem is if Plant A orders from our distribution center. MB51 will show a sale under our distribution center instead of a sale for plant A.
Does SAP have a t-code that is used similar to MB51 but will capture sales orders through other plants?
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Elton

We do limit our movement in MB51 to only show sales.  But the problem is that this also picks up sales that Plant A sends to our distribution center.  So our distribution center will show history on the part and plant A shows none.
We use MRP but I was told that we cant get this to show sales that Plant A send over to our distribution center. I dont know much about SAP, can MRP do what I'm asking for?

  • Maintaining stock level manually

    Hi everyone,
Is there a way to input the stock level for a particular article in a specific Plant manually?
    Thanks.

    Hi Dave,
You can upload stock for a plant manually using MB1C transaction.
It is generally used to upload the initial stock during cut over.

  • Maxi stock level

    Hi all
How we can calclutate the manimum stock level for the materials tht we maintained in the mateial master mrp 1.
oh which basic we can calculate the maxi stocklevel. is this is system maitnain automatically.
    2. what is mean by Takt Time in material master mrp 1 . pls explain me. how we can use this .

You use the lot-sizing procedure Replenishment up to maximum stock level if you want to fill the stock up to the highest possible level or if you can only store a certain quantity of a material due to the container size. This applies to a tank, for example. The capacity of the tank determines the maximum stock level.
Takt time (Used in fixed lot size with splitting & overlapping) - You can determine whether a fixed or period lot size is divided into partial quantities and that these are to be produced at regular intervals that overlap each other.
This lot-sizing procedure is very useful if the actual requirement quantities that occur in the period or the quantity to be produced for a certain date are very large but production is only laid out for smaller quantities.
In fixed lot size with splitting & overlapping you have to maintain the Takt time field for the period of time that the procurement proposals are to overlap.
    Hope its clear.
