SU53 message "Check for user _SYSTEM"

Hello All,
We have been facing issues lately during some imports with BPC environments from D to Q.
The team sent me the SU53 screenshot as attached below.
The user who sent me the screenshot has the missing object access already, i noticed the entry : Check for User _SYSTEM.
We are unable to identify which user could it be as we dont have a user called _SYSTEM in our system.
Is there a way to find out the User for which this access is being checked?

Very interesting case...
AUTHORITY-CHECK statement has the capability to check foreign user access although you are running the program. See docs on the statement in tcode ABAPDOCU.
In this case, the FOR USER variable is either hardcoded or coming from some customizing.
What you need to do is get the user to run this SU53 and then hit the save button. Then go to table USR07 for than user and the check and at the end of the table fields you will see the program context and line at which it happened. Then go to SE80 to display that code and look to see what happens before the AUTHORITY-CHECK statement (particularly where the FOR USER variable is coming from).
99 times out of 100 it is a configuration problem (very strange one...) caused by not reading the documentation or there is no documentation....
Good luck and let us know what you find. It is an interesting problem which I have also seen increasing recently. Makes it very confusing for security admins and application support when trouble shooting and they expect SU53 to tell the truth, but the feature itself is very cool if used correctly and you take note of the "reason codes" for the check.

first u need to find out in which user rules u are using this object , after that if u want to restrict users then remove create/change values from that object values .
make use of Tcode SUIM to find out all roles which are using this Object.
or
ask ur basis guy to remove authorizations to create/change....

I have seen the the note but it's showing ccms method defination settings, but for my case we are yet to go live we have not made any settings from sap they are planning to run a session for the go live. When i am running sdcc i am getting a error in the system log "Failed to activate authorization check for user SAPSYS"

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

Runcluvfy.sh failed on user equivalence check for user "oracle"

I have user oracle set up on both nodes -RHEL5 as:
uid=505(oracle) gid=87(oinstall) groups=87(oinstall),88(dba)
but when run the runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n node1,node2 -verbose
get the ERROR:
user equivalence check failed for user "oracle"
user equivalence unavailable on all the nodes.

When you test this, are you using the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) like node1.domain.com or just node1? Oracle is most likely using the FQDN, so if you did "ssh node1 date" and that worked fine, I'll bet that "ssh node1.domain.com date" will result in a prompt to authorize the host first and that's probably the issue.
I also usually ssh over the private interface as well. That is, do both of these from the node where the installer runs:
ssh node2.domain.com date
ssh node2-priv.domain.com date ### assuming that node2-priv is the name of the private network interface
Let us know if that's the issue.

Message check for parked Document

Hi All,
In Funds Management I have a scenario in which budget check is activated for parked documents.
When documents are parked with values less than the budget, information/ warning message is to be raised.
I could see that the standard functionality is not providing the error message when the amount exceeds the budget
while parking the document. However the system is not allowing to park the document.
Is there any way in which there is error message while parking the document when budget is exceeded.

Less? Why would you need a message if document value is less than the budget?
I could see that the standard functionality is not providing the error message when the amount exceeds the budget while parking the document. However the system is not allowing to park the document.
So, is the parking allowed or not?

P.S. Please, keep in mind that parked document is considered for PSM-FM, only when it is completed.

Creating a Message Prompt for Users

Hello.
I'm trying to create a message prompt, parallel to my project which requires a certain amount of gain.
If it exceeds the limit, it should prompt us a message, saying that it's overlimit and the program should stop immediately.
This is something I should be getting.
However, the problem now lies in the prompt itself.
Whenever, i click OK, it just closes for 1 second, and opens back up.
How do I click it once, and the program stops ?
Will really appreciate any tips/advice.

Message status for user

Hi Everyone,
Could anyone let me know how the SOLMAN service desk can be configured so that the user who raises the message can view the status of the message from time to time. Is that they need to logon to SOLMAN in order to view this detail or is the any config or Tcode for the user to view these details from the satellite system itself?

Hi,
The configuration of the work centers is simple. Look for it in SPRO -> SAP Solution Manager -> Configuration -> Scenario specific settings -> Cross scenario settings -> Work center.
This is an explenation from the SPRO on what workcenters are:
"A work center is a user menu environment. The user can access alerts reports and documents, and perform authorized tasks, in a work center. A user can be assigned to several work centers, depending on his tasks.
You can call work centers in the Web Browser or from SAP GUI in the transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER (see. SAP note 314568)."

How to check for user login in a header?

What is a good way to make sure the user has logged in on many web pages? I implement the property and method in the session bean to keep track of whether the user has logged in or not and that's fine. I tried to use a Page Fragment to check if the user is logged in, but Page Fragment does not seem to redirect with getExternalContext().redirect("Login.jsp").
I also tryed to use <jsp:include> to include a header to test for login, but JSF doesn't seem to like me adding that to the page (got error).
Also, is there a good way to prevent the target page to even execute the rowset if the user is not logged in? It seem like the page has to complete all the rowset data binding before being redirected to another page, even if I put the redirection as part of the page initialization. This is difficult because I can't expect all the pages to have query result when the user is not even logged in.
This is very basic web application function but it seems so hard to do with Studio Creator.

One thought though, when I was playing around with that solution I noticed that everything gets filtered.
i.e. images, so maybe you chould place some thing on the page (image) and when it comes through .. do something. I know its not quite as good, because your back to having to put something on each page (or restricted pages).
The images won't be wrong, unlike the URL .. maybe not images maybe something else. good luck

Popup to download firefox 4 timed out after install ran about a minute and now will not load or let me download FF 4 or remove FF3.6 (Message: checking for existing installation)

I got a popup balloon to update to Firefox 4. I clicked it and after running the install for about a minute, it quit and I got a message saying it had timed out. It gave me the website to go to to manually install it. I downloaded the manual install for FF 4, but when I tried to run it, the Firefox Setup Wizard said it was "checking existing installation" and then brought up a window saying Firefox must be closed to run the install. Firefox was not open. I tried to open it and it won't open. I then tried to delete it in my "Add/Remove Programs" (Windows XP Home Edition). I got the same messages: that it was checking the existing installation and that I had to close all firefox programs before I could delete it. I'm out of ideas.

Duplicate message checking for inbound idocs sent via http protocol

When our warehouse system sends inbound WMMBXY idocs to us it appears to be checking an internal table in SAP to make sure that the message has not already been processed. This check appears to be related to a unique message ID that is originated by the DC system. This message ID does not appear in the actual idoc it appears to have been removed prior to the idoc being created.
When we restore production data into a test environment we occasionally have problems where the warehouse system fails to post WMMBXY messages with a "Idoc already posted" type message. Can someone tell me where the file is on SAP that holds a log of already processed messages - so that in such cases I can make sure that the warehouse do not send duplicate messages.

Ok, i need a userexit/badi, whichever will do, to check for user approval levels in ME18.
So far I couldn't find a user exit/Badi that is suitable in my SAP system using SMOD and the program that find user exit by TCODE.
I hope SAP do provide a user exit that can actually check for user Approval Level in ME18.
Can anyone share this info on this issue?
