I am sorry to learn that you find our website not very user friendly when it comes to changing your Ringback Tones. Please keep in mind that Ringback Tones reside in our server and cannot be downloaded to your phone (only Ringtones are downloaded to your phone).
To manage your Ringtones or to assign a Ringback Tone or Jukebox to a specific caller using the Media Store, access “Manage Ringback Tones” from a pulldown menu at the top of the website’s landing page. Enter your mobile number and password to authenticate, if not already logged in. Select “Contacts” tab. Drag and drop your Ringback Tone onto any of the available Caller ID settings (25 max). Enter the caller’s telephone number.
To set or adjust your Ringback Tone playback settings, access the “Manage” function on the Verizon Wireless Ringback Tones mobile application or via the website.
Please keep in mind that we can also provide you personal assistance from 6am to 11pm CST if you call us at 1-800-922-0204.

I have paid to use a number of ringback tones and they were working fine. I had to call my phone to find it earlier today and got the Verizon standard ringback tone, which prompted me to check my media settings and none of the ringback tones I paid for, and renewed the license for by paying the fee again a couple of months ago, are listed. I have an iPhone 5c. I don't know when they disappeared as I never call myself. How do I find them again?

I am unable to view my bill (that's another problem - my husband can't view it either and it isn't going to his email account or phone). Looking for suggestions for specialized tone generator

An office colleague has two tuning forks: one is middle C and the other is G. When she strikes them and holds them near my ears for several seconds, one on each side, the effect is amazing. Then she reverses their position, to continue my nearly trancelike state.
I want to find an application that will duplicate this effect. I can't find a tone generator that will create two tones simultaneously, one on each channel, much less reverse channels at some point. I am guessing there are music or mixing applications that can do this effortlessly, but I am too dumb to identify them. Will some kind soul help me out? If no app is available I may try to develop an app for that and get rich.

In the waveform display, select the part of the audio file containing only the noise you want to reduce. Choose Process>Set Noise Print. The selected noise is stored as a noise print. Then, in the waveform display, select the part of the audio file in which you want to reduce noise (probably the whole file in your case), and choose Process>Reduce Noise. When the reduce Noise dialog appears, drag the noise threshhold slider to the right just a bit (I take it down to about -45db to -40db), and click the play button in that dialog window to preview the file. If you like what you hear, press Apply.
FYI, this was taken nearly word for word from the Soundtrack Pro user manual, pp168-169.

Each line needs to have it's own login and password for managing ringbacks and ringtone purchases, and backup and cloud services.
Register each number on the account for it's own username and password, and make the ringback purchase under that login. If it's already purchased under a different number, call customer service and they can straighten it out for you.

You use a free app like Zedge for the ringtones or use an app like Ringtone Maker, both in Google Play Store and free or similar to snip the desired parts from songs on your phone from your own collection. To assign to a contact, go to the address book and tap the contact, tap EDIT, and scroll down to assign a ringtone. As far as ringbacks go....you have to buy those from Verizon either through the My Verizon app or from your My Verizon account page online. Notice: most people hate to hear other people's ringback tones plus, the volume is always too loud and the quality is horrible.

Ringback Tones on more than one phone

I purchased many Ringback Tones for my phone which is the main phone number and administrator of account. I tried loading some onto another phone on my account and even though I can find and hit the number for my wife's phone, after I make a choice for a default Ringback tone, it does not work.
I am sure the answer is easy, but I still cannot do it. My phone is a Blackberry Storm (no comment) and the other phone is the new iPhone. Any suggestions??????????????? Thank you in advance.

Does wife in this case need to be an account manager to be registered to manage her own ringback tones?

purchased a ringback tone for my daughters phone. logged in to her media store account and added it as the default. called to check it and all i get is some awful static noise. removed it and the default veruzon ringback sounds fine. added the new ringback to each day of the week as the default and same issue, nothing but static when i call. suggestions?
tried buying another ringtone and the result is the same. nothing but static.

How do I buy a ringback tone that isn't a "top ringback tone?"

I found a RBT that I like, it's Marvin Sapp's "The Best in Me- Can I get a witness." It's not the version that is under the "top rbt's" and I can't find a purchase or add to cart button..well, a "buy" button- only if I want it with the ringtone, and I don't. Someone help please!!

Need Mic suggestions for solo guitar video...

I have a Sony TRV-38 mini DV and need suggestions for an external mic. I want to video a solo guitar player sitting in a chair. Would I need to mic the guitar from a mic stand in front of him or would some sort of shotgun mic do the trick? Would buying a Beachtek unit be the best way to go, or is there a simpler/cheaper mic alternative that gives very good results. This is primarily just for good sounding archival footage.

there are a couple of approaches... you can close mic, but if you are experimenting with your equipment and techniques, it is quite possible that you could get a very colored tone and not accurately depict the performace from a sonic standpoint.
something that is quick, easy, and relatively high performance at a budget is to use an M-S stereo shotgun mic. the left channel will be mono hypercardoid aimed right at the performer... with the mic mid range, not close mic'd. the right channel will be the "-S" component of the stereo signal, which is optional and can be decoded with an M-S stereo process in the edit process, or if for example, there was too much ambient noise, simply discard the track and just use the left / mono signal. (personally, i would probably just mount my audio technica M-S stereo mic on my rycote hotshoe adapter, and mic camera mounted... no stands or cables to deal with)
yes, the beachtek or similiar direct interface is the way to go, bypassing the Sony's poor gain stages (disable auto gain control, if possible).
IF sound quality is of the utmost importance, then the real correct way to do this would be to record with 2 mics in an X-Y stero mid field setup. expense, complexity, and possibility of getting something wrong are probably too high to do for something as critical as a 1 take live event if you don't have experience under your belt.

I am a proud owner of astounding (and worst marketed extra-ordinary device) 808 PureView. Biggest compliment to it is that it has replaced my SGS2. Yes, truly.
After using 808 for some time now I am quite happy but disappointed with certain things. Few things are so minor that I am surprised why Nokia removed it or didnt implement.
So here I am presenting a list of things which I would request Nokia to fix or implement. I will also request all of you here to add to the list so that Nokia gets a direct feedback and can improve the device and software. Thanks !

11. Camera noise fix, lots of digital noise on the right side of the screen (purple cast) when taking pics in darker conditions without flash, something is interfering..
12. nedd much better performance for the CAF in video mode, it doesn't work on FP2

Suggestions for spy movie LiveType settings

I am making a spy movie for the Toronto Student Film Festival and I want suggestions for good title settings for a spy movie using LiveType. The LiveType I am using is the one that comes with FCE4 not any of the previous versions.
Also, I have heard that the earlier LiveType is better than this one. Is there a website where I can "downgrade" for free?
P.S. The title of the movie is "Jr" as in Junior

Ringback Tone will not reset

I have tried to reset my ringback tones for the last 5 days with no luck. I go to the ringback manager. Change the default which was some lousy Verizon classical and choose one of the 7 that I have to be the default. Change is made on the site but never transfers to my phone. Can someone help?
