Summary and Capacity????

Hopefully a simple question. When i sync my Ipod the capacity meter (on the summary screen) says that 10 gb are devoted to OTHER. What in heaven's name is other? How do i find out where that memory has gone to or is devoted to?

Other can be Album Artwork, Notes, Contacts, Firmware etc. or files that are on there if you are using the iPod as a removable storage device. If you enable the iPod for disk use you can browse it with Windows Explorer and see what you have on there: Using your iPod as a storage drive
If you feel that Other is being incorrectly reported then try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. Have you tried deleting the songs from Settings?
Settings -> General -> Usage -> Manage Storage (not the iCloud link!) -> Music and then click Edit to enable you to be able to delete.

Project Summary and Base Calendar Reports Error Message when Saving to Desktop from Server

We have a user that gets the following popup when she attempts to save file from the Server to her desktop:
"The Project Summary and Base Calendar reports cannot be opened, renamed, or deleted". The popup includes a red circle with a white "X" and an "OK" button. The OK button must be clicked 27 times
before the file will eventually save to the desktop.
I have been able to replicate this error when I try to save her file to my desktop, as well.
I can see from the Organizer that the Project Summary and Base Calendar reports are part of the Global, but not part of the file-specific reports while on the Server. This is true for other schedules in our enterprise, so I am not sure why this is
occurring. After performing the save and clicking "OK" 27 times, there is exactly 27 reports listed for this file in the Organizer, but the Project Summary and Base Calendar reports are the only two that did not transfer with the file.
What is going on here and why is it happening for just this file? It feels like we are getting into a contention issue between the local Global.MPT and the Enterprise Global.
We are on Project Server v2010 SP2.

When you open the organizer, check that you don't have for the project in question any enterprise object on the project side.
Have you installed the
latest PS2010 CU? A more radical way for reparing a file is to export it as an XML file and save/publish it back on Project Server as an MPP file. But the project UID will change thus it will cause trouble
in case you have timesheets. You could also try to delete the project and restore it (assuming you have the daily backup in place).

HT1784 In iTunes my Apple tv (1st Generation) only shows Summary and photos so I can no longer load a movie and sync to the Apple tv. Anybody else experienced options now missing ?

I used my Apple tv (1st generation) to load films on iTunes and then sync to my Aplle tv. In iTunes I now can only see Summary and Photos and therefore lost the ability to load a film and then sync to the Apple tv. Anybody else experienced this with ? Cannot find any options to resolve this.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your library has become a secondary (streaming only) library only (it is possible to turn syncing off by ctrl-clicking on the Apple TV listing in the device list and choosing 'Turn Off Syncing" from the contextual menu) and you need to reconnect your library as a primary library.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted.

My ITunes is only showing "Summary" and "Photos" tabs when highlighted under Devices. No Music or Movie tab, thus I am unable to transfer iTunes purchases to watch on my TV.
After reading many posts on this topic, I read this post:
"you have your itunes set up as a secondary streaming only library.
you need to break the link and add it this time as a primary library. this will give you all the tabs and syncing options."
How do I "break the link and add iTunes as my primary library".

On AppleTV go to Settings>Computers
The sync library is the top entry on list.
Your is probably empty or greyed out.
The entries below this are the stream libraries.
Basically move down to your current entry and select it with the remote, and it should give you some kind of message about deleting it.
Delete it, go to the top line and select that and it'll generate a new code to enter into iTunes.

Use different Layouts for Summary and Details in Drill down report

Hi All,
I have a 2 level drill down report in ALV.
The summary report has certain fields and the Detail report has different fields. Now my problem is that when i use a default layout (with all fields of summary report) for the summary report, and drill down to the detail report i'm missing the fields on detail that are not in Summary. And if i save the default layout as default (with all fields of Detail) and go back to sumary, I'm missing the some other fields on summary (which are not on detail report).
Is there a way to make different default layouts for each of those summary and detail reports:
Also as the layouts are choosen by the user, i cannot hardcode any particular layout;
So if the user chooses a layout for detail; it has to stay the same layout for the detail report if he goes to summary and then back to detail; unless the user changes the layout again.
I'm using two different Layout types for each report. but i still cannot get the desired effect.

Here is how you differentiate between the layout of two different grids. There is the parameter, IS_VARIANT in the function. You usually leave it empty or pass only the report name and username. What you need to do is to pass unique string for each grids to the HANDLE field of the parameter IS_VARIANT. You can probably hard code it as HEADER and DETAILS in your case. Once that is done, system identified that these two different layout for different grids.

Tables for PDS modes and capacity requirements

Does anyone know which tables store the Mode and Capacity Requirement data for SNP PDSs? In particular I am looking for the Mode Duration and Capacity Requirement Bucket Resource Consumption fields.

Summary and Detail Fact Tables in one Universe ...

We have a classic star Schema with a snapshot( summary table by month) and a detail activity table on Daily activity. What is best way to design a Universe to accomodate this requirement.
1. Seperate Universe for summary Table
This removes the functionality of Drill down, and Drill down can be only available through links in Webi Reports.
2. One Universe for both Summary and Fact, and write logic for aggregate awareness. It will complicate the universe since we have close to 100 odd mesasures.

Financial And Capacity Planning Charts

Hi folks,
In 4.5 version, wWithin Financial And Capacity Planning when I click on View Chart, no chart is displayed. Error - NO Items to display.
There are plenty of items with correct financial info.
Any specific note or config/service to be made for this one?

for this can u check whether in customisation u have defined any charting grps for Financial and Capacity.
Please check for your portfolio the following SPRO path.
SPRO -> xRPM -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio Depedent settings Define finanacial capacity settings for Portfolio type.
Here u need to select ur portfolio to check financial charting grps and capacity charting grps.

OPU5 settings and Capacity planning-CM01

Hi All,
I have a confusion while configuring the settings for scheduling for planned orders in REM environment PE order type, when i select the scheduling and capacity requirements in DS section system shows me capacity requirements in CM01,CM50 reports and also DS tab in planned order but when i deselect the same check boxes there si no data in CM01, CM02 or CM50,
If I need to generate the CM01, etc reports in REM environment , then do i need to select DS check boxes also?
My OPU5 settings are as attached in this case CM01 reports are fine.

Hi Anupam,
Screen shot is missing. Rate based scheduling is fine for REM.
Create a "Run schedule" planned order and schedule it via rate-based scheduling.
In transaction OPU5, choose order type PE and the plant you use.
Choose "Details" and in the field "Scheduling level", set "1 Via rate-based scheduling" and save the change.

Hi,
These rules were available on the market place for CC 40: they were included in the support package 1 or 2.
For CC 51, we had the same issue as you: we did not find the rules on the market place. Apparently, they are not.
My customer had to send a OSS message to SAP in order to receive the rules (.txt files).

Sunil,
APO PP/DS doesn't have a 1-to-1 match for MRP/Cap levelling per se. There are, though, a limitless number of ways to achieve the results you want.
Start with a basic PP planning MRP - SAP_PP_002, which will should create all necessary planned orders
Then try a DS heuristic to schedule your orders according to capacity. Schedule Sequence SAP001 is a good starting point. This can be used to schedule your cap relevant work centers such that they fully load the capacity available, similar to cap levelling.

Hi,
bring your two different layouts in seperate frames and write format triggers on this frames to show or suppress them (depending on your input). Connect the two frames with an collabsing anchor.
