Support link disappreared in QA portal.

HI,
    In portal logon screen we have a support link and is working perfectly, but same as in QA it was there but disappeared without knowing, when i checked in code level it is there,  but in portal it is displaying.
Can any body suggest me how to get back that or what was happened for this incident.

Are you using Custom or Standard Logon PAR file ie in com.sap or com.<customer> namespace ?
Some additional trouble shooting points -
1 - You can check the timestamp of the PAR file - System Administration->Support->Portal Runtime->Browse Deployment
-> under temp or pcd folder if someone accidently deployed any incorrect version?
2 - In the authschemes.xml did anyone change the reference of the logon par used?

    Hi All,
    We are using the ´support´ link on the logon page of our Portal. When we click the support link, the system asks for UserId and e-mail adress. When we fill this in correctly, the system responds by displaying "New password sent to e-mail adress".
    However, the password is not reset or anything and we still have to logon with the original old password. Where can this problem be rooted and where do I start to look for the cause of this.
    We are using CUA and this is set on ECC 6.0 production system.

    I think your Portal is EP 7.0 SP12..
    For logon page weare using two jar files umelogonbase.jar and com.sap.portal.runtime.logon_api.jar
    There is some change in code of umelogonbase.jar file  in SP12

  • Logon Problems? Get support is not working in Portal logon Page

    Hi Experts,
    I have created A Role and assigned Logon_help action to it and assigned the Role to Anonymous group.
    So i have Logon Problem? Get Support link on Portal Logon Screen. When i click on it, i was asked to provide userid and email id.
    I have entered them. i got a message the my userid is reset and sent to my mail. but havent received any mail, and the password is changed which have to log in as admin and reset the password.

  • Get Support link does not work after SPS13 installation

    Good evening,
    we have patched our system from NW7 SPS10 to NW7 SPS13.
    We have problem with our portal: on home page Get Support Link doesn't

  • How to link the reports to portal

    I generated reports using discoverer plus and i viewed the reports using discoverer viewer . I am new to discoverer viewer.
    Any body done please give me steps for how to deploy the reports in discoverer viewer and how to link the reports to portal.I wouid appreciate any help.

    hi gopi,
    u can store ur reports in the database using Discoverer user edition. these stored reports can then be viewed in the discoverer Viewer. here i am assuming that u have configured ur discoverer viewer correctly.

  • Do Web Intelligence Support Linked Universes in BO XI 3.1 sp3

    I know WebI in XIR2 doesnt support Linked Universes. So we used to build reports in Deski as we need to generate reports on liniked universe.(one core and three derived) now we are upgrading the version to Xi3.1 Sp3 and i am curious to know whether XIr 3.1 WebI support linked universes.

    Yes, I used Web Intelligence (never actually used Deski in my life!) I am surprised to hear that XIR2 Webi reports did not work with linked universes. I remember reading several long forum entries regarding linked universes and the pros and cons. And I am pretty sure they were back 2-3 years ago.
    But maybe they were using Deski.
    We have a main Universe that we have been using for a couple of years that we have typically just added to when required. Then we were confronted with having to add data from a new department, which was not very easily related to the existing data. So we have been considering linked Universes. We still have not decided which way to go.
    I built a new Universe based on this department's data, and then linked it to a test copy of our original main Universe. Then I took an existing complex report in Webi and changed the Universe to the new linked Universes. Then I had to remap the data (it makes you do this automatically) and do some other adjustments, but it all worked fine.
    Funny thing is, once I got it working, I did a "save as" on the universe, knowing I needed a backup in case something went wrong, and when I tried to switch back between InfoView and Rich Client, it got all messed up! I spent another few weeks trying to figure that out. But that was not related directly to the linked Universe. I can refer you to messages about that.
    So, my point is, yes, linked Universes do work with Webi in 3.1. Have I done thorough testing? No. But I have taken one rather complex report and migrated it to a linked Universe in Webi, and it works.

    Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
    Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

  • CA###### login not working. Are my past cases and support links gone for good?

    Tried logging in with my CA######  user id that I had used on IRTC, it won't work.  I had to login with my passport id which was seperate before.   My support links are of course not there. etc....  

    also, if I try to register my support ID to my passport Id, service unavailable

  • Training & Support Link not working

    Hi
    i have a 30-day trial version of Siebel CRM On Demand.
    When i click on the Trial & Support link on my version it simply returns a blank page???
    Can someone tell me how this can be fixed?

    At the bottom of each page within CRM OnDemand there is a link labeled; "Service Information". At the foremost part of this Service Information page you will see the PRODUCTION pod name and below that the STAGING pod. If you are on the STAGING pod when you click the "Service Information" link, you will see the STAGING pod name and the PRODUCTION pod below.

  • Contact Itunes Support link doesn't take you anywhere

    Apple must have some server issues, since we can't get any real support for the inability to download TV episode in SD versions  issue, thye must have shut off the link to take you to their "contact iTunes Support" link

    and follow the instructions to report your issue to the iTunes Store.
