System Alerts show different User in OAM than Requestor for C REQ

Hi,
I would like to ask for your advise on System Alerts issue in OAM 2.3.1 (EBS 11.5.10.2).

The screenshot presents system Alert Details screen
Here you can notice that in the Alert in OAM screen the 'User' related to this certain Alert is called CT04845.
The real user - requestor - was JW00162(seen from Concurrent->View screen in Oracle Forms).
Is this invalid situation or correct?
Which table stores Alert User? Which class/package populates this table?
Should alert User be similar to Requestor?
Also the Responsibility shown in alert details is incorrect.
Neither of the users(CT04845, JW00162) has the 'Matman' responsibility assigned to them.
Kindly advise.

you can use badi CRM_BP_UIU_VIEW_CONFIG of enhancement spot CRM_UIU_BP_ENHANCEMENT for your requirements. Please read the badi documentation because you need also a implementation of badi CRM_BP_UIU_CONFIG_CALLBACK (same spot). SAP considers badi CRM_BP_UIU_VIEW_CONFIG only for use at dynamically loading different configuartions of view details for business partners or contact persons at runtime. But you can use your badi implementation also for other views. You have to redefine method DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION in your views. And call your badi from there. For this copy&paste the logic of DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION of bp details to the views you have to load dynamically at runtime.
We have used this approach for access controll and granting special access to views dependent on different employee functions.

I have a user for whom I see a different responsibliy start date in user inquiry form than what I see in Active user report for the same user.
Any idea why it is this way?
This tells me that inquiry forma and active users are pulling responsiblity start date from different place.

Repeating system alert sound, without user action 10.6.1

After installing 10.6.1 on my Macbook Pro unibody 17", i get a repeating system alert sound every 2 seconds. I have restarted,logged out,changed my sound settings, and eventually just had to turn the system alert volume all the way down.
Anyone else having this problem after the 10.6.1 update? Any resolutions besides muting system alerts?

I think I found my issue - It seems to have been with Peer Guardian. I uninstalled Growl a little while back because of a bug causing Firefox to launch in the background instead of in the foreground (help from Apple's forums helped with finding that fix), and I think PG heavily utilizes Growl for user notifications.
One this you might try is creating a dummy user and logging into that account to see if the problem still exists. If it doesn't, then you know one of your startup items (System Preferences --> Accounts --> (user) --> Login Items) is causing the sounds you're hearing.

Invalid Subject error showing different user name

I am getting an Invalid Subject error when some of my users attempt to login. It doesn't happen to all users and sometimes the users we have been seeing the problem with are able to successfully login. The weird part is that we print out what user is attempting to login (by retrieving the subject) but the error message we get back is for a different user... what could be getting confused so that it is using the subject from another user even though we know we had the correct subject returned ?
I have searched the forum and some people have had similar problems when servers/domains/JMS queues did not have unique names. I verified everything we run is uniquely named. We are running WL9. Here is an example error from our logs:

Exporting from Lightroom to Photoshop and back to Lightroom shows different results in Lightroom than in Photoshop

I has set the color space to ProPhoto RGB in both Lightroom and Photoshop. I have also calibrated my monitor.
But when I export a photo from Lightroom to Photoshop and edit it there before saving it, the photo in Lightroom is very different than what the Photoshop edit shows.
Photoshop is to the left, Lightroom to the right.

Ask in the LR/ PS forums and provide details about your system, your files, your develop settings, other stuff. You need to be much more specific.

System.log shows (every 3 minutes): no valid selfIDs for more than 2 min

Besides having to live with A LOT of USB 2.0 problems since the upgrade from 10.4.6 to 10.4.7 (like may other people reported) I also noticed a lot of errormessages in /var/log/system.log, that have to do with the Apple 6 port Firewire/USB2.0 PCI card.
When starting up the system a line gets written that says like:

Then, when the machine is properly running the log continues:

That is about 1 line every 3 minutes.
I only have 3 USB2.0 drives connected to my 6 port card, no Firewire devices!
After trying all suggestions found on the Apple-site I simply kept getting these errors until: I plugged in a 'Target-Disk-Mode' PowerBook over a Firewire cable. Then the errors stopped showing up and the interface appears to be happy. I can even remove the PowerBook from the Firewire port now without getting any errors!

So, a workaround is to (temporarily if you wish) connect a Firewire-disk to the card. That will stop the errormessages from showing up.
The solution has to come from Apple. Empty Firewire ports should be allowed to 'not send any valid selfIDs' ever...

Patch and administer oracle with different user id other than "oracle" user

Hi Friends,
This is question about oracle on Windows. Can we patch and administer all parts of oracle with differnt user id than one from which we installed?
Example, If we install an oracle from user "oracle" than can we install patches or other admin work including backup and everything with user "a" ,"b"?
Doen't it need to be a same user for pacthing and other critical administration work?
help me understanding this with an example.

Its always good to patch Oracle with the same user from which you installed the user. Oracle sets certain permissions or modifies the DCOM settings when you install the Oracle from a certain user which would not be same for other user. So It is always recommended to use the same user for patching.

Outlook 2010 shows different user on sent on behalf of line

Hi,
I am having an issue where a user has send on behalf permission to a mailbox. This mailbox is also set to forward any mail to another mailbox.
When a user running outlook 2010 sends an email from this mailbox, it goes fine, but when you look at the from field of the sent email it shows as the mailbox it is set to forward to. So [email protected] is set to forward all incoming mail to [email protected],
and user A has permssion to send on behalf of [email protected]
When user A tries to do that, the recieved mail should show in the from field as user A on behalf of [email protected] but instead shows as [email protected] on behalf of [email protected]
I have users running outlook 2003 that have no issue with this. Is there anyway to change what outlook 2010 will display in the from field of the sent email, as we want the recipient to have a named point of contact, but all mail to go into the same mailbox
so if that user is away another can pick it up.

Please make sure
[email protected] doesn’t have any related permissions(Send as permission, send on behalf of rights, full access permission) to User A. We can remove
[email protected] from Forward To filed in EMC then check whether the send on behalf message shows correct in from filed:
1. Open Exchange Management Console, expand Recipient Configuration > Mailbox.
2. Right-click [email protected] > Properties.
3. In Mail Flow Settings tab, click Delivery Options > Properties.
4. Make sure User A is listed in Send on behalf permission list. And uncheck Forward to checkbox.
5. Click OK > Apply > OK.
Then check whether the issue persists. If the issue resolved, then set the forward to back to have a try.

SWF shows differently in OS X than in Windows

I'm quite confused. This

bottons at the bottom right. Under Windows, clicking S'INSCRIRE or

Hello, thank you for replying. The problem was a bit more
complex than that. Some erroneous code stopped the browsers in
Safari and Firefox, but not on Windows! Everthing seems to run
smoothly now.

In MIRO system showing different vendor other thar PO

Hi
During Invoice booking in MIRO, system is showing different vendor other than the vendor in Purchase order.
As a result different vendor other than PO vendor is getting credited.
We have checked below settings.
u2022 Partner roles in vendor master record is not changed
u2022 Partner Roles in PO is not changed
u2022 Invoicing Party field in details tab in MIRO is greyed out hence user can not change it
PO has not been changed as per change history.
Please guide me as what can be the possible reason for this.

Please consider this scenario,
1. Suppose you have two PO ( A & B) with different vendors and you want to do the invoice for the PO A for Vendor X (say).
2. So you have entered the PO number B and then realised that the wrong PO number has been specified.
3. So without coming out of the transaction or without executing new transaction, you entered the PO number A.
4. So the item details will be taken from the PO A but in this case the vendor details will be of PO B becoz the header details will not change until you will not come out of the screen or transaction.
This is the reason for getting the wrong vendor against the PO.
Solution for this issue:-
1. Cancel the invoice and redo the invoice for the PO.
2. Pass the JV from one vendor to another vendor.

Windows 8.1 Run as different user from search function

After about a year of Windows 8 I was actually quite enjoying the ability to type a program name in start menu and then use right click to run as a different user. which is achieved via changing local security policy (i.e. running rsat tools
as a domain admin account etc). However, Now that Microsoft have decided that a search bar should appear when you start typing from the start menu, although this now displays the applications in the sidebar you can no longer right click and run as different
user. This means that for me windows 8.1 is now less user friendly than its older brother. Has this function been implemented and am I just missing something?

Based on my research, on the windows 8.1,we could add "Run as different user" on Start in Group Policy.
Please perform the following steps:
1.Press Win+R, and type"gpedit.msc",then press Enter.
2.In the left pane, click/tap on to expand User Configuration, Administrative Templates, and open Start Menu and Taskbar.
3.In the right pane of Start Menu and Taskbar, double click/tap on Show "Run as different user" command on Start.
4.Select Enabled, click/tap on OK.
5.Reboot the computer.

How do I set up a different default browser other than firefox?

I would like my juno email page to come up everytime I open a new page but I can't seem to figure out how to change my default browser. Right now anytime I open a new tab the search engine is blank and it shows avg search engine. No matter what I put in the search engine after it goes to that page the search engine goes blank again. Because it keeps going blank it also keeps bringing you back up to it. So you might click on something and start writing and next thing you know you're writing in the browser again all because it disapears. It's very annoying. I want to get it off the avg search engine so I stop having these problems. I use to always have it open to my email start page so I would like to do that again or anything else if it will stop going to avg and it will keep what I ask for in the browser.

Normally, Firefox will fill the new tab page with 9 thumbnails for your frequently visited sites. You can change that to the Juno URL if you like. Here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''newtab''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.newtab.url''' preference and enter your preferred page:

Google fonts showing differently on Safari and Chrome

Hi there,
I have a question about using Google Fonts or Websafe fonts. For a website I'm using Questrial as a font.
I'm aware the font is showing different on a webbrowser than in the preview of Muse, but spaces appear to be bigger in Google Chrome than Safari. This means the graphic design I made isn't showing correct on Google Chrome. See attachments! The weird thing is it's showing perfectly right on a Google Chrome App on tablet. It's just a desktop problem.
The site is built in a older version of Muse and I just downloaded the latest version, but it's still appearing wrong on Google Chrome.
Is there a solution for this problem? Thanks.

Do not call that phone number. It's a scam.
Launch Safari while holding down the Shift key. That way only your homepage loads.
