System error on reading internal table DYNTAB, screen 7313

Hello,
I'm trying to create a customer master in batch mode. I get this error when saving. If I create the customer on-line, I'm able to create with no errors. When I create using a program, I get the error and have to exit.
Does anyone have a clue on what to do?
Thanks,
Theresa

Looks like its having a hard time doing something with the tabstrip on the screen.  Does your XD01 screen look the same as it does during the BDC recording?  If not, you may have to compensate.  I don't really now exactly what your problem is, but I can make some guesses.  During the recording,  do you click on the tabs or do you switch tabs by using the tab selector on the right of the tabstrip?

  • Read internal table with key not equal to

    Hi,
    How can I read internal table with key not equal to some other field.
    Basically in read statement we can read only fields equal to others fields.

    Hi,
    Test the following Code you can Use Loop at for this But not Read Table
    DATA: BEGIN OF it_test OCCURS 10,

  • DAC: "error while reading repository table". Please help!

    Hi everybody,
    I copied DAC directory from server to a workstation.
    DAC client on server machine runs normally.
    When trying to run DAC client on the workstation, I get an error message "Error while reading repository table".
    I tried to find any DAC log file to get some additional information, but I couldn't.
    The connection in DAC seems to be configured properly (test connection successful).
    The only difference I found between server and workstation is that there are two Oracle homes installed on the workstation and one - on the server.
    Thanks,
    Alex

    So you can read the tables now? Good to know.
    Just as a hint: if you "tnsping" your data source from a command window, you'll see which path and file is used, so you can find out which home.

    @DAC client can't connect to server: i.e. the icon stays red?

  • Read internal table from report.

    Hi all.
    I want to know is it possible to read internal table from report without modifying the report. is there any function module by which we can run the report and read data from internal table?
    Thanks.

    hi
    hope it will help you.
    <REMOVED BY MODERATOR>
    Read table doesn't allow ne operator.
    It reads only one record...Either by index or key.
    READ TABLE MY_TAB INDEX 1.
    READ TABLE MY_TAB WITH KEY CODE = 'ATG'.
    these are the results for SY-SUBRC checks after read table
    SY-SUBRC = 0:
    An entry was read.
    SY-TABIX is set to the index of the entry.
    SY-SUBRC = 2:
    An entry was read.
    SY-TABIX is set to the index of the entry. This return code can only occur when you use the COMPARING addition. For further detauls, refer to the COMPARING section of the additions
    SY-SUBRC = 4:
    No entry was read.
    The value of SY-TABIX depends on the table type and whether the BINARY SEARCH addition was specified.
    If the table is a SORTED TABLE or a table sorted in ascending order of the type STANDARD TABLE with the BINARY SEARCH addition, SY-TABIX refers to the next-highest index.
    Otherwise, SY-TABIX is undefined.
    SY-SUBRC = 8:
    No entry was read.
    This return code only occurs with a SORTED TABLE or a STANDARD TABLE with the BINARY SEARCH addition. SY-TABIX is set to the number of all entries plus 1.

  • Reading internal tables

    Hi all
    i am using internal table itab1,
    i want to add the similar contents of itab1 from itab2 into itab3
    how to do it?
    thanks
    raghvendra bhanap

    Hi,
    This is a documentation regarding reading internal tables.
    Hope this will be useful...
    When the size of the record or the number of records in the internal table is large, doing a linear search is time consuming. It is always a good practice to search a record by binary search (Always Sort the table before doing a binary search). The difference is felt especially in the production environment where the live data is usually huge. As of release 4.0 there are new types of internal tables like SORTED and HASHED which can be effectively used to further reduce the search time and processing time.
    e.g.     Do not use the following statement:-
    Select matnr from mara
    Into table i_mara
    Where matnr in s_matnr.
         Select matnr werks from marc
              Into table i_marc
              For all entries in i_mara
              Where matnr eq i_mara-matnr.
         Loop at I_mara.
              Read table i_marc with key matnr = I_mara-matnr.
         Endloop.
    Instead use the following statement:-
         Select matnr from mara
              Into table i_mara
              Where matnr in s_matnr.
                                       Select matnr werks from marc
                                            Into table i_marc
                                            For all entries in i_mara
                                           Where matnr eq i_mara-matnr.
                                       Sort I_marc by matnr.
                                       Loop at I_mara.
                                            Read table i_marc with key
    matnr = I_mara-matnr
    binary search.
                                       Endloop.
    It is a good practice to search records from internal tables using a binary search. But extreme caution needs to be applied as it may either increase the time or may cause run time termination if it is not sorted.
    Always the sort the internal table by the required keys before performing a binary search.
    e.g.     Do not use the following statement:-
    Select matnr from mara
    Into table i_mara
    Where matnr in s_matnr.
         Select matnr werks from marc
              Into table i_marc
              For all entries in i_mara
              Where matnr eq i_mara-matnr.
         Loop at I_mara.
              Read table i_marc with key matnr = I_mara-matnr binary search.
         Endloop.
    Instead use the following statement:-
         Select matnr from mara
              Into table i_mara
              Where matnr in s_matnr.
                                       Select matnr werks from marc
                                            Into table i_marc
                                            For all entries in i_mara
                                           Where matnr eq i_mara-matnr.
                                       Sort I_marc by matnr.
                                       Loop at I_mara.
                                            Read table i_marc with key
    matnr = I_mara-matnr
    binary search.
                                       Endloop.
    It is a general practice to use           Read table <itab>…     This statement populates all the values of the structure in the workarea.
    The effect is many fold:-
    •     It increases the time to retrieve data from internal table
    •     There is large amount of unused data in work area
    •     It increases the processing time from work area later
    It is always a good practice to retrieve only the required fields. Always use the syntax      Read table <itab> transporting f1 f2  …  FN …          If just a check is being performed for existence of a record use      Read table <itab> transporting no fields …
    e.g.     Do not use the following statement:-
    data: i_vbak like vbak occurs 0 with header line.
    data: i_vbap like vbap occurs 0 with header line.
    Loop at i_vbak.
         read table i_vbap with key
    vbeln = i_vbak-vbeln binary search.
         If sy-subrc = 0 and i_vbap-posnr = ‘00010’.
         endif.
    Endloop.
    Instead use the following statement:-
    data: i_vbak like vbak occurs 0 with header line.
    data: i_vbap like vbap occurs 0 with header line.
    Loop at i_vbak.
                                  read table i_vbap transporting posnr with key
    vbeln = i_vbak-vbeln binary search.
                                  If sy-subrc = 0 and i_vbap-posnr = ‘00010’.
                                  endif.
    Endloop.
    There are many ways in which a select statement can be optimized. Effective use of primary and secondary indexes is one of them. Very little attention is paid especially to the secondary indexes. The following points should be noted before writing a select statement:-
    •     Always use the fields in the where clause in the same order as the keys in the database table
    •     Define the secondary indexes in the database for the fields which are most frequently used in the programs
    •     Always try to use the best possible secondary index in the where clause if it exists
    •     Do not have many secondary indexes defined for a table
    •     Use as many keys both primary and secondary as possible to optimize data retrieval
    As of release 4.5 it is now possible to define the secondary index in the where clause using %_HINT.
    e.g.     Do not use the following statement:-
         Assuming a secondary index is defined on the field vkorg in table vbak
         Select vbeln vkorg from vbak
              Into table i_vbak
              Where vbeln in s_vbeln.
         Loop at i_vbak.
              Case i_vbak-vkorg.
              When ‘IJI1’.
              When ‘IJI2’.
              Endcase.
         Endloop.
    Instead use the following statement:-
                                       Select vbeln vkorg from vbak
                                            Into table i_vbak
                                            Where vbeln in s_vbeln and
                                                 Vkorg in (‘IJI1’,’IJI2’).
                                       Loop at i_vbak.
                                            Case i_vbak-vkorg.
                                            When ‘IJI1’.
                                            When ‘IJI2’.
                                            Endcase.
                                       Endloop.

  • System error -no entry in table T093 for the chart of depreciation or ccode

    When checking “Depreciation Areas of Company Codes” in overview for experts (transaction SPRO) I first get a warning message “inconsistent rounding entries were corrected”.
    After saving once in the maintenance transaction (as recommended in the help text) I get the following system error: “there is no entry in table T093 for the chart of depreciation or company code”. I checked table T093 and all entries are in there!
    What else I have to correct?
    Regards
    Cordula Speh

    hi ,
    yours is customizing problem only, check all steps once again in customizing. T093 is initial customizing for asset accounting. just go through below things and check based on this order all customizing.
    1.     Copy Reference Chart of Accounts Depreciation / Depreciation Areas.
    2.     Specify Description of Chart of Depreciation (COD).
    3.     Copy / Delete Depreciation Areas.
    4.     Creation of  ‘0’ Tax Codes for Non-Taxable Transaction.
    5.     Assign Tax Codes for Non-Taxable Transactions.
    6.     Assign COD to Company Code.
    7.     Specify Account Determination.
    8.     Create Screen Layout Rules.
    9.     Define Number Intervals.
    check one by one and if you find anything missedout do it, i think max you prblm solve, if not give some more details about your problem.
    thanks and regards

  • Runtime error in Dynamic internal table with AMOUNT and Quantity Fields..

    Dear friends,
    I am attempting write a dymanic Select Statement (with joins).
    And the sleect query looks like this..
      SELECT (LT_SEL_LIST)
      INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF
      TABLE <DYN_TABLE>
      FROM (LT_FROM_LIST)
      WHERE (LT_WHERE3).
    Here the into table is a dynamically created internal table..
    which is created by ...this
    CALL METHOD CL_ALV_TABLE_CREATE=>CREATE_DYNAMIC_TABLE
        EXPORTING
          IT_FIELDCATALOG = IT_OUTPUT2[]
        IMPORTING
          EP_TABLE        = DY_TABLE.
    the it_output2 contains the the fieldcatlog information of dynamically given fields :-
    like:-
           TABNAME
           FIELDNAME
           DATATYPE
           LENG
           INTTYPE
           ROLLNAME
           DECIMALS
           REFTABLE
           REFFIELD
    i mean the internal table is constructed with reference to all the bove metadata.
    Problem:- This query run fine with all the fields Except AMOUNT AND QUANTITY fields....
    When the selection list contain VBAK-NETWR or MSEG-MENGE..It throws a runtime error.
    "The data read during a SLECT access couldnt be inserted into the target field,either conversion is not supported for
    the target field's type or the target field is too short."
    after this I even tried to construct the dynamic table with CFILEDNAME and QFIELDNAME in the Fieldcatalog.
    so now my fieldcatlog looks like this:---

    Hi Jeevan,
    Why are moving only few fields from DD03L table to your field catalog? Why don't you use move-corresponding? The following code works for me in ECC6.0.
    data: it_dd03l type table of dd03l initial size 0,
          ls_dd03l type dd03l,
          lt_fldcat TYPE lvc_t_fcat,
          ls_fldcat TYPE lvc_s_fcat,
          ls_where(72) TYPE c,
          lt_where LIKE TABLE OF ls_where,
          lt_fld LIKE TABLE OF ls_where,
          lt_data_dy TYPE REF TO data.
    field-symbols: <ft_data> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
    select * into table it_dd03l from dd03l
        where tabname = 'VBAK'
          and ( fieldname = 'VBELN' or fieldname = 'NETWR' ).
    check sy-subrc eq 0.
    loop at it_dd03l into ls_dd03l.
      move-corresponding ls_dd03l to ls_fldcat.
      append ls_fldcat to lt_fldcat.
      move ls_dd03l-fieldname to ls_where.
      append ls_where to lt_fld.
      if ls_dd03l-fieldname = 'VBELN'.
        clear ls_where.
        concatenate ls_dd03l-fieldname ' <> ''''' into ls_where.
        append ls_where to lt_where.
      endif.
    endloop.
    check not lt_fldcat is initial.
    CALL METHOD cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table
          EXPORTING
            it_fieldcatalog           = lt_fldcat
          IMPORTING
            ep_table                  = lt_data_dy
          EXCEPTIONS
            generate_subpool_dir_full = 1
            OTHERS                    = 2.
        IF sy-subrc <> 0.
          RAISE no_configuration_data.
        ENDIF.
        ASSIGN lt_data_dy->*  TO <ft_data>.
    check sy-subrc eq 0.
    select (lt_fld) from VBAK into corresponding fields of table
        <ft_data>
        where (lt_where).
    Thanks

  • Error Passing an internal table between BSP pages

    Any time there is data in the internal table and I try to pass it from one BSP page to the next I get an Web error.  I've heard that it is possible to pass an internal table from one page to the next.  can anyone point me in the right direction here?

    You can do this with the navigation object only if the table is very small. Overwise it overflows 2+KB limitation of URLs.
    Alternative ideas is to use server side cookies (search forum for many examples).
    If stateful, just hang stuff of your application class.
