Table download

Hi,
We need to download the huge data from BSEG, EKBE, VBRP, BKPF table. Wetried to download this data from SAP but it falied.Is possible to get this information directly from DB2.If it is possible please tell me that Db2 command ASAP.

Table download difference in ECC6.0 and 4.7

Hi All,
I am downloading the Z table contents from ECC6.0 and 4.7 as a spreadsheet. But there is a difference in the column position in the excel sheet. for eg. in 4,7 EBELN is placed in column E in excel sheet , while if same table downloaded from ECC6.0, EBELN is placed in column D in excel sheet.
Please guide, why there is a difference.

The ECC6 comes with the inbuilt functionality of New GL which helps in Parallel Accounting, Multiple Reporting Requiremnets, Real time CO to FI Integration, Online document splitting, Integration of management dimensions in the GL etc.
All these functionality there by helps in fast Period end close or Month end close activities as there is no need to run JOBS or Programmes in moth or period end because of Real time integration.
Also the Reduction in TCO from Companies point of view.
These functionalities doesnt come in 4.7 either you intall New GL in 4.7 or upgrade to ECC6.0

Automate several table download in csv format from Oracle database

Hi All, I am new to Oracle database usage and currently using SQL Developer and PL/SQL for my day to day work. Please help me with the below.
Currently I am querying a table for few columns and using EXPORT facility from Query Result tab. However, I want to do this for several tables. If possible I would like to keep all these table downloads as overnight job. Is there a way to do this?

I guess you should post this in the SQL Developer forums. However; if you don't mind using other tools I have an idea: recently a feature has been added to the free mod_owa module to output a ref cursor in various formats; e.g. in CSV:

so in essence you'd need a stored procedure returning ref cursors and an apache with the module configured. You'd simply have to do HTTP Requests and store the response in a file.

BSP internal table download

Hello all,
I am trying to download an internal table,as a text file, from a BSP view. This view is getting called through a sub-controller in my application.
While downloading i get a pop-up saying: you are now downloading Main.do.
which is my Main controller's name.
If i click OPEN, again i get a pop-up: you are now downloading Forms.txt.
which is the file i actually want to download.
Though The download happens perfectly, the Request doesnot get completed. "Your request is being processed" keeps appearing and doesn't let me proceed.
Could anyone suggest a solution to the problem. I donot want the pop up for Main.do download and neither the "Your Request..." message.

Remove <xhtmlb:protectDoubleSubmit>, you wont get message "wait..your request is being processes" at all.

Hi friends, Problems with Special Characters in Table download to Excel.

Hi friends,
I am using Binary Cache method to download to excel. The problem is that there are certain fields in the back end R/3 that has special characters in it eg : & * £ # etc.
As a result, the download is not working for these rows. Please can any of you tell me how to get rid of this. As an example let's say I wan to replace the "&" with "and".
Please help.

Sap FICO tables download to excell sheet

hi,
I want to download the fico master tables to excell sheet.
somebody told me to SE16N and system-list-save-local file-(spread sheet)
while doing the same procedure i am struggling in localfile when i am clicking in same after that local file that time local file is showing properly, local file is there that is not allowing to pointout, therefore please explain me how to do and get the FICO master tables to excell sheet.

Transaction code SE16N enables to enter a specific table and get the contents or records in the table. Which table name you have entered for getting the Master Data tables?
Some of the Master data tables in FICO are as under:

ALV Table Download Issue

Hi all,
I have a question on the download settings when downloading an ALV table content (e.g. content of PPT).
Sequence:
1. Choose the "Export" button
2. Choose Spreadsheet
3. Choose any format
4. Check on the checkbox "Always Use Selected Format"
5. Download the file
Now, once you do the same thing, it won't give you any format option. Instead it will directly set the file extension for you and it is unchangeable. Makes sense because you already checked the box in step 4. But the simple question is: How do I deselect the option in step 4?
By the way, I'm using SCM 7.0 (just recently upgraded).

Double check by reviewing the contents of table SALV_BS_ADMIN. This is the table that should not hold your userid. Also, look for an entry against userid "*", which will affect all users that don't have specific entries.
Also, check your user parameter SALV_BS_XML_TYPE in Tcode SU01. This should be blank.
Basically, there are a number of things that can affect the changeability of this setting. Look at https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1080608 and all the related notes, and the attached zip file. In some cases, a correction must be loaded into your system before you can reset this flag.
If all else fails, raise a message with SAP.

Condition Table download to CRM from ECC

I have to download condition tables created by customer(say A872, A888) into CRM system.
When I see the adapter objects R3AC5, there is no adapter object present for the same.
Please tell me what are the sequence of steps required for the same. Like mapping tables to adapter object..doing any other config or development for download.

Hi Hits,
The condition table A500 onwards are the customer specific tables which SAP provides. So you need to create your own adaptor objects for these tables. The steps are really simple.
Copy the adaptor object DNL_COND_A002 and give the name ZDNL_COND_A872 follow the same step to create object ZDNL_COND_A888.
Reffer to the oss note 514952 which might also required.

Condition table download in CRM

In the back end ECC 6.0 system, some condition tables have been defined using fields Sales Document Type (AUART), Sales document item category(PSTYV).
Now when I try to download object DNL_CUST_CNDALL, tables containing these fields are not generated.
I have tried to use note 514952, in structure CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST I have added these fields. In View I have tried to map fields to their corresponding CRM fileds, like PROCESS_TYPE for AUART. Now when I download DNL_CUST_CNDALL again corresponding tables are not generated.
Please help me in resolving this.

Hi Hitesh,
I think, you have not followed all the steps correctly. Do again following
1) SAP Comunication Structure CND_MAPT_ACS_REM must contain all R/3 mapping fields. The customer communication structure CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST is already included into it. You just need to define yuour field into CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST and activate this structure.
2) Now using view V_CND_MAP_CNVFLD you must create a mapping between CRM and R/3 fields.
Now goto to tx se16 and open tables CND_MAPC_CNV_FLM and CND_MAPM_CNV_FLM and check if your mapping has come there. If yes, then you are going right.
3) Now trigger customzing downlaod using master object DNL_CUST_CNDALL. ( You dont need to run report /sapcnd/rv12n001 explicitly as this report is automatically called after the download. Its only true from CRM4.o onwards releas )
4) Check table /sapcnd/t681 and see if the table is active ( check the column GESTA and its value must be 5 )
5) If its not active then goto /sapcnd/t681e and look for all fields of your table. If something ahs gone worng then this table will give you a clue. Check if there is any double entry for fields for your table or offset value has come properly.
6) Same time also check the log via tx SLG1
Do all these steps and let me know if you still face any issue.

Condition Record Table Download from R/3-CRM

Hi,
We have created the condition table A922 in the R/3 system
we have used the Tcode CND_MAP_CUST_CORR to generate the condition table
and downloaded the objects DNL_CUST_CND,DNL_CUST_CNDALL and DNL_CUST_PRC
But the new condition table is not gettign created in the CRM system
Can you guys let us know how to transfer the condition tables

Hi Krishna,
Generally when you do the load of the object DNL_CUST_CNDALL it generates the corresponding CRM condition table e.g. in your case it should generate condition table CNCCRMPRSAP922. So please check the same in transaction SE11/SE16. If it is not there then reffer the oss note 514952 which will help to maintain the field catalog etc in CRM and have the CNC* table in CRM. Once you have this table you have to create an adaptor object DNL_COND_A922. You can just copy the existing adaptor object DNL_COND_A002 and change the table in the tab table/structure. Then load this object.
This should bring the data to CRM.

Dear All,
i want to download the Dictionary table contents with field name ( Z tables and standard tables ) into Excel, is there any standard FM or Report which will solve this purpose.
user does't want to use se16 or se11 download facility, he wants direct execution after entering the table name.

Fire fighter security table download

Dear Experts,
After downloading the Fire fighter Security table(/n/virsa/vfat -> Utilities -> Download) this can be opened in excel and see all the passwords. This is a potential risk in Security and authorization. Kindly suggest me is there any note or corrections to get the data downloaded as encrypted itself ?

Just wanted to ask you what role (s) does the user have, who is downloading and changing the passwords. Are they standard SAP provided or are they custom?
Role "/VIRSA/VFAT_ROLE_ADMINISTRATOR" has access to "Export" the list and role "/VIRSA/Z_VFAT_ADMINISTRATOR" has access to "change" the password.
Also, in case you do not want the export function to be available to any user, you may chosse not to use these SAP default roles for Firefighter but create your own roles and assign them to the users, where you can define the table maintenence for "/VIRSA/ZVIRFFPWD" table, not to be available to anyone to restrict this.
