Table leadSelection in Netweaver CE 7.1

Hi experts,
I have created a table with values in web dynpro. Now i want to display another item table on the same view when click on any row of the source table(NetWeaver 7.1). I used the onleadSelection action, but it is now only changable by clicking on the first row.when i click another row ,it still displayed that  the first row was selected in the first table.
The property settings of my table (in NW 7.1) are the following:
- enabled: true
- readOnly: ture
- rowSelectable: true
- selectionChangeBehaviour:auto
- selectionMode: auto
Regards,

Hi jeck_public,
you must create a supply Function in the context value node.
In that function you must fill  the node depending of your selection in the first node.
- node1
-node2   -> here the supply function

  • How do I use the option "table view" in NetWeaver 2004s Query Designer?

    Dear,
We have used NetWeaver 2004s Query Designer, We found a strange problem. The option to select table view is not available. It is greyed out. How can you select table view (tabular) in 2004s Query Designer?
I have read the help doc about tabular view of NetWeaver 2004s Query Designer, I check my query, it has only one structure . but the option is still greyed out. I rebuild the query with 3.x Query Designer in tabular view, and reopen it with 2004s Query Designer, So there is a tab named "tabular view" display, but the option to select table view is still not available, and when users view the query result in web , it is still not in tabular view display. So I am confused, is there a bug with NetWeaver 2004s Query Designer?
    Please help me. Thanks!

  • KMC_DBRM_CONTENT DB level locks observed in this table

    Hi ,
Please let me know the purpose of the KMC_DBRM_CONTENT standart table in SAP Netweaver Portal Version 7.0 SP13.
We are observing Locks in the table DB level eventually causing portal to go down.
We are using very minimal KM functionality
    Regards
    Sudhir

    Hi Sudhir,
Despite the DB is in the database of the Application Server. This specific table belongs and is controlled by the application KM. So I believe you will find a more suitable answer opening a thread, or moving this one to the Knowledge Management & Collaboration forum. There, many specialists of KM will be able to answer this question.
I hope I could help you, because the KM experts don't monitor this AS forum. So, there you will find your answer more quickly.
    Thanks,

  • Write to ERP Tables on HANA DB using SQL script

    Hello All,
We are using HANA as our primary database for ABAP system and trying to feed the data to ABAP tables using SQL script and experiencing authorization errors . Please see below for more details.
    Scenario.
I am getting no authorised error when i try to write some data to Z* tables using SQL script in HANA studio. But I am able to create new tables in the same schema.
As shown above Query1: SAPSR1 is the schema which contains underline ABAP tables. ZGSA is existing table and now i am trying to insert new rows into it.
Query 2&3: Creating new tables in SAPSR1 works fine.
Can you please suggest me whether it is right approach or i need to have RFC to update these table from some other tool/app?.
    Thanks in advance,
    Naresh

    Hi Naresh,
Obi Wan would now probably say: "this is not the functionality you're looking for".
Even though you are working with Z-tables you really don't want to start messing with those from outside the context of the NetWeaver system.
Instead you want to keep the control over all tables in the NetWeaver schema completely  to the SAP<sid> user and NetWeaver.
For your data loading scenario, just write a simple ABAP report with native sql or an AMDP to do the copying of the data for you.
Don't spread your code across the landscape and don't loosen access restrictions on your schema.

  • Java patches tables

    Dear All,
Please let me know the database table names for Netweaver JAVA patches.
Like in ABAP we have PAT1, PAT2,PAT3 etc etc
    Thanks,
    Sudip..

Though in my system there is no PAT1 table (ok i see, the interesting stuff is in PAT03). The j2ee components are in table BC_COMPVERS. Be sure that you look in the java schema (the one ending with ...db). For example if your abap schema is sapsr3, then the java schema is sapsr3db.

  • EC-CS Reports via SAP NetWeaver Technology

    Hi Guys,
I would like to know if its possible report consolidated financials (EC-CS tables) via SAP NetWeaver technology. Can I use web services to fetch data from EC-CS tables (FIMC table, for example).
Please, let me know tips to start that work.
    thanks in advance,
    Luciano

    Hello Ariel,
EC-CS. Does consolidation of financial data based on group, company code, business area, profit center etc.
SEM BCS Does consolidation of financial data based on consolidation units which can represent, for example, companies, plants, business areas, profit centers, and cost centers.
EC-CS part of ECC 6.0 and SEM BCS 6.0 does the same thing.
    EC-CS part of ECC 6.0
    Pros:
Consolidated data is on the same system ECC 6.0 ( OLTP)
The reporting part is carried out with report writer.
    Drill down and basic reporting.
    Cons
Reporting on large amount of data does take a toll on the system
    Rolling 12- 24 month report
    Comparing actual/prior/budget
    Reporting flexibility is limited
    SEM BCS 6.0
    Pros
The data is extracted into the underlying BW/BI system which operates exclusively for consolidation.
Sky is the limit in terms of customization and delivery of reports with Bex functionalities like Bex Analyzer, Web Application Designer, Report Designer.Reports can also be directly printed in Excel, Pdf format.
Reporting needs wont affect the performance of ECC 6.0.
    Cons
    SEM Implementation cost
Hope this gives a rough Idea. Let me know if you have any further concerns or comments.
    Thanks
    Raj

  • Problem while handling Parent and child nodes in CE

    Hi all
I am facing a problem with handling Child and Parent nodes in CE.
I have a Table in which I have drop downs. On selecting a value in the drop down, I have to take that value and do some action.
I am trying to access the value in the following ways
    wdContext.nodeParent().currentParentElement().nodeChild().currentChildElement().getVaActivity();
    wdContext.nodeChild ().currentChildElement().getVaActivity();
When I select the drop down from the first row of the Table the code works fine.
But when I select other rows, it returns the current value of the first row.
The lead selection of the parent always returns u20180u2019 even though you have done some action in row 2,3 etc.
The same code gives the required values in EP 7.0; I.e.: it returns the values form selected row in the table.
Basic problem is that the current value of parent always returns the first row.
Following are the Properties of the nodes
    Parent
    Collection Cardinality: 0-n
    Singletone: true
    Child:
    Collection Cardinality: 0-n
    Singletone: false
    Please help
    Regards
    Deepu

    Hi,
In CE changing dropdown selections doesn't fire table leadselection events. If you want to use a dropdown in a context-driven UI element like a Table, you need to use of event parameter mappings. So here are the steps:
    1. Create a new action for the onSelect event of the dropdown (I will write the code for DropDownByIndex), let's call it Select.
    2. Add a parameter parentElement whose type is same as the type of the parent node element. So from your example it would be IParentElement. Select the chek-box for "Adapt event-handler parameter". This will add a new parameter to the event-handler method onActionSelect called parentElement.
    3. Write this inside wdDoModifyView :
    if (firstTime) {
        IWDAbstractDropDownByIndex ddi = (IWDAbstractDropDownByIndex) view.getElement("<id of DropDownByIndex>");
        ddi.mappingOfOnSelect().addSourceMapping(IWDAbstractDropDownByIndex.IWDOnSelect.NODE_ELEMENT,"parentElement");
    3. If you want to set the lead selection of the table to the row where the dropdown is write this inside the event-handler:
wdContext.nodeParent().setLeadSelection(parentElement.index()); //parentElement is the event handler parameter added through the action.
Note that the event parameter IWDOnSelect.NODE_ELEMENT points to the node element that defines the data mapping for the containing row and not the node element of the source for the dropdown. This has been specfically  added for such a scenario. All this is well documented [here|http://help.sap.com/javadocs/nwce/current/wdr/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/uielib/standard/api/IWDAbstractDropDownByIndex.IWDOnSelect.html#NODE_ELEMENT].

  • How to find DB schema from Java codes

    Hello,
Do you know whether there are java packages/classes to find the DDIC (schema) info of DB tables (the tables created by Netweaver Dev. studio)?
    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hello,
when you are using a MaxDB as your database the tables created by the J2EE application belong to the SQL user SAP<SID>DB. For example your SID is called C11 the name of the SQL user is sapc11db
You can logon to the database with the SQL Studio. To see what users are in the database logon as the DBA ( default superdba, admin ) and run the select "select * from users"
    Hope that helps, Stefan

  • Add Comments in 7.0NW

    Dear Experts,
    I using BPC 7.0NW.
After adding the comments where comments are actually stored ?
In 5.1 we have comments tables.
And wht will be the performance if i use more comments and wht is the lenght limit for comments?
    Please help..
    Thanks alot in advance....

    S. Kumar,
Comments are stored in tables on the Netweaver BW system, much as they are stored in SQL Server tables in the 5.1 version. I don't know the table names off of the top of my head, but you search for them in the backend system and you should be able to find them without too much trouble. Look in SE16 for table names starting with UJ* or /1CPMB/*.
In my experience comments in the Netweaver version are quite fast, always returning in a couple of seconds or less. However we are not dealing with high volumes of comments currently, so it is possible that this performance could slow down if you started dealing with large numbers of comments in your application.

  • HANA DB - Sizing Script as per the note 1514966

I am trying to execute the HANA sizing report to get an estimated required size for HANA as per the note 1514966.
the report can be executed in two ways
The scripts can be used in two different modes:
                        - without parameter: the names of all active tables of the NetWeaver system along with their database size (in MB) will be written to a file "TableSize.txt" which also contains the sum of all table sizes.
                        - with a filename as parameter: the file should contain a list of tables that are to be replicated (one table name per row, no blanks). Only for those tables which can be found both in the file and in the database (as active tables of the NetWeaver system) the script writes the table names and their respective database sizes to the file "TableSize.txt".
The first part " Without parameter": runs fine, and it gives the output like following for a database of 2.5TB (ECC Database Uncompressed running AIX DB2)
RowStore Tables [GB]         ColumnStore Tables [GB] Total Size [GB]
                  512.15                 1165.12                            1677.27
can i assume 1783.32 is the required size of HANA memory for migration.
RowStore   Tables                ColumnStore          Tables Total Tables
                  2192                          87524                    89716
also i am not able to run this report against some specific tables as per the following from the note
with a filename as parameter: the file should contain a list of tables that are to be replicated (one table name per row, no blanks). Only for those tables which can be found both in the file and in the database (as active tables of the NetWeaver system) the script writes the table names and their respective database sizes to the file "TableSize.txt".
Let me know if some does has an experience with this report.
    - - Kishore

    Hi Kishpre,
The report provides the memory footproint of the data on HANA after migration. This has to be taken into considered while planning for the HANA Appliance.
When we specify the parameter it has to be ensured that the tables exists in the source DB. The report is only run against the tables that are mentioned in the file provided in the parameter. Kindly check if the tables mentioned  should be active tables of the NetWeaver system.
    regards

  • How to make group visble and hidden

I have to make one group(which consists of some field) visible and hidden on tableselect. Initially that group should not visible and after selecting table those group need to show. How to make it during runtime..Right now i made the table leadselect -1 so it is not selected. So how to make it hidden.
    Thnaks
    Nitya

Use a calculated attribute (read-only, type=Visibility) and implement the get-method like
    WDVisibility getGroupVisibility(...)
      return wdContext.node<TableDataSource>.getLeadSelection() == IWDNode.NO_SELECTION
        ? WDVisibility.NONE : WDVisibilty.VISIBLE;
Bind the "visible" property of the group to this attribute.
