Tax code in stock transfer order

hello dadas
i am doing stock tranfer order from one plant to another plant of same company code. business process is through vl10b, vl02n,vf01 and then good receipt.but when we create sto purchase order no invioce tab is coming in po. without it how we can do invoice. because we do invoice with reference to sto.please response it as soon as possible.client requirement.

see when we are creating an STO the invoicing needs to only be done for any freight expenditure that has been done. The material value, excise or taxes on it, are already paid for so they need not be specified in the STO. If there is any entry tax you can specify it in conditions.
when ur transfering same material from plant X to Y. No tax is involved as tax is already paid on it)
So while STO no need to put same taxes again instead u can define pricing procedure for STO so that it will take care of freight,Trasportation cost etc.

  • Customer's name in stock transfer order

I need to add actual customer's code in stock transfer order so that material can be despatched from depot  to only those customer for which that material is transfered to depot. if it is possible, kindly provide me solution. thanks in advance. requirement is on priority basis.

    Hi,
You definitely need a customer number in your STO order to do the delivery. Follow the below steps to get the same.
    1. Create the concerned depot as a customer.
    2. Go to the follwing path and give the customer number created and the sales area to trigger the customer number in your STO. SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchasing Order -> Setup stock transport Order -> Define shipping data for plants.
    3. Finally, in the above said path go to Assign delivery type and checking rule and give your PO Type, Supplying Plant, Delivery type and the checking rule to complete the STO configurations.
These steps will definitely help you in getting the required customer number.

  • Stock transfer order between 2 plants in same company code

    Dear All,
We have the requirement, where in the stock tranfer order (between 2 plants in same company code) instead of Material valuation price, MAP/Standard (depends on Price Control) gets picked up from supplying plant ,user should be able to enter its own price while creating stock transfer order.
For fullfilling this requirement, I have created new condition type(where i have changed condition category from internal price "G" to "H" - Basic Price)
Instead of using condition type- P101 in the stock transfer pricing,I have used above created new condition type, in pricing procedure then also while doing the post good issue against the outbound delivery( move type-"641", moving average is getting picked up.
Can you please tell, where is the setting where we can make the system to consider manual given price while creating the stock transfer order instead of picking moving average price.
Its very Important requirement ,please Provide valuable Inputs else provide some alternative.
    Thanks & Regards

Stock Transfer Order between Plants in the same Company Cpde are not relevant for pricing, as there is no billing. Billing only takes place between company codes. As same company code it would be like selling something to yourself - it doesn't make sense.  The stock value in the receiving Plant depends on the price contol there. If standard price, then you must enter the price when creating the material or use material revaluation to change it. When you transfer the material from the issuing plant, the value there will be transferred. In case of standard price any difference is posted to stock transfer differences. If using MAP then the value will be transferred from the issuing Plant in full.
If you use costing with standard price in main plant, then it is possible that you can transfer the cost from the main plant to the second plant, by using special procurement key for costing.

  • Urgent Condition Tab Missing In  Stock Transfer Order

    Hi All ,
When I a m creating Stock Transfer Order from One Plant In one Company Code to  Another Plant in another Company code the Invoice and Conditions Tab Is Missing .
How to get the Conditions tab, Do I have to do any Customization ?
Please suggest me of how to go about .....
    Regards ,
    Sriram.

    Hi Srirama,
Yes, if you have only one Calculation schema then there is no meaning in assigning to different Porgs.
In that case please proceed with the following configuration.
This is done in customizing; IMG for MM > Purchasing>Conditions>Define Price Determination Process>Define Schema Determination>Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders
For the combination of the Schema POrg; doc.type( UB ) and Supplying plant
you must specify the price schema to be used.
Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Open Qty is not copied in Delivery for Stock Transfer Order

    Hi,
In the Stock Transfer Order process, Once the STO Order is created, I am creating delivery in the transaction VL10B or VL10G.
When I am clicking the background button Delivery gets generated. Then when i am going in the transaction VL02N and increasing the delivery Quantity which is more than STO order quantity, the system is accepting it. But i want the system to throw an error message if the delivery quantity is more than the order qauntity. For this I have made the following settings.
In the Transaction Code 0VLP, i have selected B in Check Over Delivery field. But still it is not throwing an error.
The reason for the same may be, the system is not copying the Open Delivery Qty from the STO Order (Which normally happens in Sale Order to Delivery process, bcos of Copy Control). This field has 0 value. So the system is not able check for over delivery.
If I get this value in the delivery then it should be working fine and the sytem will throw an error for over delivery.
Can you please suggest me a way to get this open qty value in delivery for STO order or suggest me some other option to check for over delivery in STO.
    Regards
    Vijay

    Dear Friend,
If I can understand you clearly.
to achieve your task the best way you can sit with your abaper and configure a routine and assign the same to T-code OVLK delivery type customizing :
In the Item requirement : Generally it is 202

This explanation is not in detail and hence I am not clear about your configuration settings.
First go to IMG Logistics-General => Tax on Goods Movements => India => Business Transactions => Outgoing Excise Invoices => Assign Billing Types to Delivery Types.
There ensure that you have assigned the billing type JEX (assuming that you are using the standard) to your delivery type NL.
Perhaps, you can also try with "D" for your item category in Billing Relevance field but I am not sure this will solve your issue.  Try in development client.

  • Automatic Flow of Tax Code in the purchase order (Service)

    Dears,
My purpose is to populate the Tax Code automatically in the Service Purchase order (Account assignment U and Item Category D). The tax code in the purchase order is required for ERS.
If i maintain the tax code in the info record for a material, then the tax code is getting automatically flown from the Info record to the purchase order.
However, if I maintain the tax code in the info record for a service, then the tax code is not getting automatically flown from the Info record to the purchase order. Is there any other settings to be maintained to populate the tax code for the service purchase order?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ramesha

    Hi,
The tax code in PO is at item level for stock material.
In your case you cant make it default as inforecord field is at service level(You cant make it default for every service specifications you create at item detail level)
Check the field info record in your service PO.

    Deepak.

  • RE: Intercompany stock transfer order process

    hi SD Experts,
I really appreciate if anyone explain me how to execute Intercompany stock transfer order with intercompany billing scenario.
I  used T-Code ME27, but unable to do delv and intercompany billing
    thanks in advance
    regards
    vaseem

    hi
Material should exist in both the plants (Delivering  & Ordering),
Internal customer should be assaigned to the ordering plant ( MM -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Setup stock transport order -> assign the internal customer to the ordering plant and assign the Sales area of the internal customer.
Assign its Sales area to the delivering plant
Assign the document type and Delivery type  NB and NLCC
Assign the Supplying plant --> Receiving Plant --> NB
Take the delivering plant and assign the sales area.
Vendor master has to be created and assaign the supply source ( Delivering Plant).
    Create a puchase order ME21N ---> Save
Delivery VL10 G ---> Calculation rule (appropriate) --> Assaign the purchase order number here and execute.
Select the Delivery creation line and do the back ground process.
Start the log display and see the delivery document number by the documents button
Goto VL02N --> do picking and PGI --> Then do the MIGO with respect to the delivery document.
Billing (Intercompany pricing conditions should be set).

    Hello.
Go to SPRO --> Materials Management ---> Purchasing ---> Purchase Order ---> Set Up Stock Transport Order --> Define Shipping Data for Plants. Select the ordering plant (Z223) and assign the intercompany customer, and the sales area of the deliveing plant.
Once you maintain this try to assign the Delivering plant (Z222) to Ordering sales organisation (Z223) and Distribution channel.

  • Material Division in Cross-Company Stock Transfer Order

We are configuring the cross-company code stock transfer order process.  We seem to have all configuration done, but on the PO and Delivery the division that shows up at the item level is the sales area common division, not the division on the material master.  Due to this, the business area is not being assigned correctly (Plant/Division), thus now allowing us to post the invoice.
Here are the specific Doc types we are using:
    PO: NB
    Delivery: NLCC
    Delivery Item Cat: NLC
    Invoice: IV
Any ideas as to how to get the division from the material master to show up on the PO and/or delivery so that's what pulls into the invoice?  We also understand the the default Sales Order type DL is set for Delivery Type NLCC in the event there is no Sales Order.  For Sales Order Type DL we have set the Item Division flag, but that is not working either.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Shane Newmyer

    Hi buddi,
Thanks for the info, but neither of these things help with the division issue.  I need to have the material division on the PO, Del and Invoice...
    Any other ideas?

  • Cross-system stock transfer order (cross CC and without using APO)

    Dear experts,
I want to set up a stock transfer order scenario cross two SAP systems (and cross company code).
The examples given in SAP documentation point to scenarios using a joint APO system.
At the same time the documentation reads:
The number of process variants is a result of the combination of system landscapes and organizational units:
    - with or without joint SAP APO
Does anyone in here have experience in setting up this scenarion without using APO system and could help me with a process flow and the IDOC sequence used for this?
    Thanks and regards
    Norbert

    Hi,
and thanks for looking into this.
No, I do not have an APO (company is using JDA/manugisitcs) and I want to set up cross system STO between two ECC 6.0 systems directly.
I do have a number of idocs running between the systems already and also know the place where to configure a plant for cross system goods flow.
What I would like to know is if this scenario is supported at all and if yes, what is the sequence of idocs and and what are their triggers (in other words - the technical side of the business process) .
    Best regards
    Norbert

  • Good Receipt with reference to delivery or stock transfer order

We have a stock transfer order between two plant. Requirement is as under.
Steps - Supplying plant is creating stock transfer order, doing delivery with reference to STO by VL10B.
Receiving plant is doing Good Reference with reference to delivery or STO t code MIGO.
Now the requirement is if A Plant is supplying 100 nos, at the receiving plant it should not allow less then 100 nos. it should give error that qty is not match with delivering qty.
    Thanks in advance
    Samir Bhatt

    HI,
You mean to say that STO quantity must be equal to GR quantity or else system should throw an error
After STO and delivery PGI is done.
Then GR is made with refernce to STO.

Edited by: satish kapartiwar on Jul 16, 2009 9:33 AM

    Hi Satish,
You can see open stock transfer quantity in MB5T and stock value in MB5L. If you want to make stock transfer, there is two types intra company transfer(with in same company code) and inter company transfer (different company codes).
Steps for Intra company stock transfer:
This is only within the comp.code(w/o SD)
(w/o SD) 351101 MvT. and (with SD) 641101
    1. Mat.(1434)should be maintained in both the plants.(@1000&1100).
    2. Should have enough stock in supplying plant(1000).
    3. Make its supplying plant as a vendor in vendor master record in receiving plant(1100).
    4. Make it receiving plant as a customer in customization.
Create customer (xd01) & and define the shipping data for plants in both the plants.
Path: spro u2013 img u2013 material mgmt u2013 purchasing u2013 po u2013 set up STO u2013 define shipping data
    (1 by1 )
    In Receiving plant (1100)
    Customer num. 123345 (for ex.)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    In Supplying plant (1000)
    Customer num. -
    (don't fill)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    5. Assign doc. Type is "NL" for intra company STO. If STO is inter company, Assign doc. Type is "NLCC".
    Position doc type is "UB"
    Enter supplying plant(1000) & doc type (NL)&checking rule (ex:01)
6.Assign doc. Type is "UB" to u'r plants.(PO)
    Go for new entries
Enter supplying plant(1000) & Receiving plant (1100)&doc type (UB).
    7. Create a PO, choose the doc type is 'UB' & item cat.'U', Enter supplying plant as a vendor in PO of the receiving plant(1100).
    8. Provide this num (PO) to SD people, they will do the delivery by using transactional code is VL10B.
    9. Sales people they will provide "out bound delivery num".
    10. Do the GR. In GR the second tab 05 outbound delivery instead of PO mov.type 101.
    11. See the stock overview in the receiving & supplying plants.
    Steps for Inter company Transfer:
    1) Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area.( Make sure, In Customer Master, sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)
    2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
    3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------>For your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4)then For your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5)Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
    6) In SPRo-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group, Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination, Assign shipping point
these are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receiving Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping Outbound delivery as a ref. document.
Now your STO bet. two plants belongs to diff. Co.Codes will be completed.
