Taxes and duties on components for cost plan

Hi experts
I am working for below scenario:
The components those are planned must be added with applicable taxes for cost plan.
In case of imported goods, the applicable import duties need to be added to cost plan.
Similarly in case of external services, the service tax to be included.
For this purpose i wish to maintain different costing sheets (with various tax rates).
The relevant costing sheet is added in the activity/ component.
Is this OK or any other solution?
In this case, the predefined costing sheets to be used. As and when new rate comes in to picture, customizing to be done.
Any solution, with which user can make use of different variables easily?

I will maintain different costing sheets as follows:
00001: No overhead
00002: VAT 10%
00003: Service tax 12%
No one is defaulted with any of the profile.
I am thinking to make the field at activity level mandatory.
So, user has to choose the appropriate costing sheet at each activity level.
As the description is maintained with detail of tax, the user can choose the right one.
I request to comment and suggest if any easy way to achieve this requirement.

    But, the problem is that, I do not active reconciliation ledger, so I do not maintain any thing relate to reconciation ledger or adjustment posting? I can do transaction "actual settlement"  without error
    So, How this error come to me?

  • Error in Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

    Hello Everyone,
    I am a regular user of I-tunes but recently i dont know why but I got some error in Launching I-tunes. So as recomonded by "Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7" section. I started removing the products. But after removing Quick time, I tried to remove Apple Software Update but while uninstalling it gave error that "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." and the uninstall rollbacks.
    Please send me a feasible solution to this problem.

    Uninstalling the iCloud control panel should allow you to do that folder deletion.

  • Event for Cost Planning modification in Project System ( Cj40)

    Hi gurus,
    I'm unable to find a way to raise an event for the creation of cost plannning trought the CJ40. I've considered everything i know, from status change to exits/badi. Has anyone got similar requierements? ? I've seen some similar question in SDN, buy they are unaswered. 
    The only idea I have to create a document change from scratch, but i don't know if it it's possible.
    Any suggestions.

    I'm not an expert in the CJ40 transaction so there could be actually a standard solution. As far as your question is concerned, I will assume that change documents didn't work for you (transaction SWEC). If that is the case, have you considered implicit enhancement spots? If not, they could be an option. Basically, you find where the cost planning is saved. I'm talking about where the record is actually inserted into the database. It will typically be a function module. At the end of that function module, create an implicit enhancement implimentation. You need to check if the creation was successful and if so, create an event using function module SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT. Just make sure you don't set the commit flag if the system is going to commit after the function module is called.

  • Service tax and cess on freight for inventorised items

    Hi all,
    There is a scenario where service tax and cess is charged on freight line items in a PO for inventorised material. This had been incorporated in pricing procedure accordingly. But while doing a MIGO it is found that the service tax and cess are charged on the materials. This should not be charged to the material rather at the time of MIRO it has to be posted to a receivable account.
    Can anyone suggest what configuration is required for this.

    i would like to know the solution in detailed. As Per my client requirement, i have separated VAT amount and posting into separated G/L account. but my problem is i have to pay tax on freight amount to government. The taxes on the freight will be different. since 25% from the freight amount is taxable. so 25% from the freight amount i have to consider and on that i have to charge 2% E.Cess and 1% secondary higher E.cess.
    how could i configure this issue in SAP?
    please help me on this issue.

  • Understanding and using Logical Components for Managed System configuration

    I am embarking on a fresh installation of SolMan 7 EhP1 SPS25 and after a few bugs along the way, I am finally nearing the end of including the first Managed System.  Somewhat related to {forum:id=10293771] I am hoping I can get some advice, but specifically with regards to Logical Components.
    General question - I have a slide from SAP that shows a picture from Product->System->Instance->Logical System (client)->Logical Component.  I am confused because it shows that Client 100 of a given ABAP system could be assigned to Logical Component A, whereas Client 200 of the same system could be assigned to Logical Component B.  This seems wrong to me?
    I am at the last step of the managed systems configuration wizard : "create logical components" and only want to ensure that I set things up to hopefully ensure that later usages (Maintenance Optimizer, etc) will handle things correctly!!!
    - Our SAP landscape is not very complex
    1. only ERP and EP (Dev/Test/Prod). 
    2. We are utilizing HR Self Service (XSS).
    3. The ERP ABAP systems are on Netweaver 7.01. 
    4. EhP4 has been installed, however we only activated the HCM business functions.  Therefore SAP_HR is on 604 whereas SAP_APPL is on 600.  I think this might be driving some of the confusion in SMSY
    For the DEV ABAP system I am trying to configure:
    1. The system is showing up in two products : "SAP ERP" and "SAP ERP Enhancement Package" with the header data for both showing "EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01" and "SAP ERP 6.0"
    2. Under "SAP ERP" the "product instance selection" shows only "SAP NW - Adobe Docu. Service" and "SAP ECC Server" as relevant
    3. Under ""SAP ERP Enhancement Package" the "product instance selection" shows only "Human Capital Mgmt" as relevant by default.  I manually flagged the development portal system as "relevant" for "SAP XSS (Self Services)"
    4. The RCA DBA Cockpit system is complaining "No data available for extractor activation. Please check product mapping and Software Components in SMSY"
    5. In the Managed System wizard, there is no logical component for any of the "EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01" selections
    From what I can tell, I think this is correct:
    1. Create a Z_EHP4 logical component and assign the DEV/QAS/PRD systems to them
    2. Also assign the DEV/QAS/PRD to the existing SAP logical component "SAP ERP ECC SERVER"???
    3. For the Solutions, my plan is to create
    a. Non-Production ERP : with the dev/test erp/ep systems, but test system as the leading system
    b. Production ERP with the prod erp/ep systems only

    Client 100 could be assigned to any number of logical components, client 200 could be assigned to those same ones or none of them. A logical component is just a grouping of systems used to accomplish some task in SolMan.
    For example with ChaRM you could have 2 logical components.
    ZCHARM_DEV development (100) -> QA (200) -> prod (300)
    ZCHARM_SEC security (900) -> QA (200) -> prod(300)
    One is used to show the path for moving development changes to prod, the other for security changes. 200 belongs to both, but 100 only to one.
    Set them up in whatever way meets you needs. It looks like for you, you could just use the default one and assign your clients to the various system roles. Not all functionality in SolMan uses the logical components though.

  • LoadBalancer and BIG IP Setting for Workspace/Planning

    Hi,
    I recently migrated our Planning applications from System 9.3.1 to System 11.1.2.1 successfully. One of the things we setup in this process was a virtual IP Address to which two server IPs were assigned as well as the 19000 port. This was done to divert reduce the load of logins on one server as well as prepare for a server crash.
    The virtual IP address was created successfully and the loadbalancer is able to divert multiple connections to a default algorithm set on the loadbalancer hardware.
    However, when i login to the Workspace via my IE. I see that under Navigate->Planning->Application, there is a long string that is displayed instead of "Planning". I was asked to ensure "Persistence" is setup on the loadbalancer and it was confirmed that indeed "cookie persistence" was setup. However, the issue still exists.
    I also tried to change a few files residing in the Oracle Folder on the Planning server and the issue still exists. Lastly, i changed the "cookie persistence" to "IP Persistence" with "Source address"persistence as the default setting. The issue still exists.
    I have asked Oracle for any documentation that recommends the proper setting and unfortunately there is one and it is for "EPMA" and not for Planning (As i assume the issue is with the "Planning" label.
    Anyone else who has come across this issue and what is the best way to resolve this?

    we had also some difficulties with that buttons and now we solved it with a command bar with different buttons and menus  coded in vba.
    Was a bit tricky but its was the best way to have a lot of functions on a single workbook.
    We used the standard analyzer buttons to do maintain the sequences on a hiden sheet and in vba we connected the buttons/menu entries with vba:
    For generatig a command bar in vba but in a module:

  • ATP Check Finished Goods against Components for production planning

    Hi All,
    Our business has a requirement that they want finished goods to be planned based on the availability of components. Currently we have an APO solution which plans at finished goods level only so there is no need to bring components into APO. We will probably use CTM (currently using Heuristics)
    We have concerns about the harm that this will do to our system performance and we really do not want to bring these components into APO.  We are therefore interested if there is any way we can avoid bringing these components into APO.
    In the past, there use to be a seperate ATP server from SAP where this could be done but my understanding is that this was discontinued and is no longer supporetd. Can someone advise me if there was a product that replaced this ATP Server or does anyone have any suggestions on how we can avoid bringing the components into APO. Please consider that it is not possible to limit to just critical components.

    Hmmm..   Your seem to be considering adding hardware to support ATP server, but you seem unwilling to consider adding more hardware to the current SCM solution?  Doesn't make much sense to me.  Like most SAP products, SCM/APO can be expanded almost infinitely, if you need performance gains.  Which you don't know yet.
    Anyhow, depending on your requirements, CTM is probably overkill.  PPDS or SNP alone would be adequate.  If enhanced availability checking is what you want, then one of the GATP solutions would work.
    I guess ATP server still exists (run transaction ACBD from ECC) but I don't think I have ever seen anyone use ATP server at the same time they are using SCM.   All ATP server does is move the processing load of ECC ATP check onto a distinct buffered memory area.  I don't see how that will solve your problem, but I guess I don't really understand what you mean by "planned based on the availability of components." You don't need anything special to plan FGs in SCM and components in R/3, this is pretty standard.

  • Copying and moving iWEb components for use elsewhere

    I learning and working with alternate sites using Joomla, an open system style web site creator
    Where do I go on my Mac to find the components (specifically images and text that I've entered in iWeb) so I can copy them for use elsewhere?

    The items you add to a web site are located within the Domain.sites2 file which is in your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. The image files will be in there but the text you added to a page will have to be copied from the published page or from the page when opened in iWeb.

  • PO Number and Line Item Number for Invoice Plan Number

    Hi Experts,
    Can somebody please guide me how to fetch the PO Number and respective PO Line Item Number for an Invoice Plan (FPLNR).
    In FPLA Table, PO number is available but line item number is not available.  If a PO is having multiple line items, different line items will have different Invoice Plan numbers.

    I have got the answer after posting this thread.  We can get the PO Number and the Line Item from EKPO Table itself by passing the FPLNR.
