The Creative Cloud Update worked for Photoshop. However, it shows my LR 5.4 as "up to date" and the CC version will not load. Advice was to uninstall LR using the Adobe Uninstaller but it doesn't exist on my iMac with Mavericks. What am I suppposed to
Sorry for the long title. I thought I was actually asking the question. Why can't I update my LR 5.4 to LR CC? I have an iMac 27inch running Mavericks. I have lots of room on my hard drive and have 16 GB of RAM.
Long titles seem to be happening a lot since the last forum software update so it's not just you!
There is no Lightroom CC. You get the latest version (currently 5.4) with Creative Cloud, and so the CC app is correct in stating that your LR is up to date. Unlike Photoshop and most of the other Creative Cloud applications, Lightroom is not branded as "CC" because it's also available separately as a stand-alone perpetual licence product. When 5.5 (or 6.0 - or even a CC-only version) are released in the future, the CC app should prompt you to update and so in the meantime you're good to go.

Creative Cloud updates fail for Photoshop/CC U44M1P7

I'm having problems updating my Creative Cloud applications - error code U44M1P7.
PROBLEM: I still can't update Photoshop or most of the other CC apps.
- I am running Application Manager 6.2 (7.0.0.189) and Extension Manager 6.04
- MacPro 3.1, OSX 10.8.2
- Changed permissions on folders
- The early error log files said I was missing the language packs, so I removed and re-installed the apps
- The latest update error is U44M1P7
- To try and narrow things down, I only re-installed Photoshop and ran the Application Manager for updates to PS, ACR, Bridge, and extension manager. All failed U44M1P7 except for Bridge, which updated correctly.
- I tried the online chat support but nothing worked.
HISTORY: When I tried updating Photoshop CS6 on my MacPro (via the Application Manager), all of my CC apps came up in trial mode. I eventually got all the apps running, but not before I had to de-activate, un-install the entire CC suite of apps, run the cleaner, re-download/install and upgrading the OS from 10.7.5 to 10.8.2.
HELP! All suggestions are appreciated.

- Creating a new administrative account and installing from there still resulted in errors in updating.
- I again uninstalled all the CS6 apps, ran the cleaner tool (CC and CS6), and reinstalled ALL my CC apps. Ran the updater from the Application Manager while logged in and ALL the updates failed (U44M1P7).

I purchased the Creative Cloud Photography Plan for 9.99 and I can't open up Photoshop. I had access to it the night I bought it online and now I cannot use it. Will someone help figure this out. Perhaps I'm an idiot and just missing an obvious step so I apologize for that but, I still NEED HELP!!!
I have a laptop with a Windows operating system (not lucky enough to have a Mac) and as far the Adobe version, it's the plan for 9.99 that Adobe is offering. I was under the impression that the Creative Cloud Photography Plan included Photoshop and Lightroom, the latest versions of both, because that's what it said when I purchased it. I purchased the Creative Cloud Photography Individual for $9.99 a month. The photoshop tools do not compare to CS4, I can't click on the arrow to get to the other tools withing the set and I get this error code: I get this error code: One or more files in the adobe application support folder, necessary for running photoshop are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and reinstall photoshop. and can't figure out how to get to the installer again!

It really depends on which subscription plan you are signed up to. Normally whichever programs are available thru your subscription are listed for you to install in the CC desktop manager application. If you do not see certain programs listed it might be because your machine does not meet the system requirements for them... that is normally what happens with the manager.

WIthout proper system info and the detailed error report nobody can say much. Most likely you run out of disk space.

My logic board was replaced on my Mac and now my CS4 will not open. I re-downloaded it, gave the serial number, but it still won't open. It said that the licensing had expired. But this is not the case. Now what?
uninstall, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then properly install (do not migrate, use timemachine etc) using the installation files.

I have recently upgraded my mac and ipad to IOS7 and find that Safari will not load onto my iPad. It just shuts down the app. Any ideas? I have been onto Mac who took me through a very long iPad robot, but the problem is still the same! Help appreciated
Do you mean that you did a soft-reset ?
Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't fix it then try closing Safari via the iPad's multitaskingbar and see if it works when you re-open it :double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag the Safari app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
After trying the above you could also do a soft-reset (even if this is what you've already done it might be worth trying after clearing Safari's cache and closing the app via the taskbar) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
My imac will not load after I enter my password. The only thing I get is the arrow from my mouse on top of a blank white screen. Can anyone tell me what this is? I've restarted and turned off several times. I left it on in this state for 8 hours hoping it would reload and work. No luck.

after i have downloaded an album from iCloud to my new macbook pro. Itunes will only play one song at a time. If i hit the fast forward or back button will not do anything. I have to use the mouse to hit the next tidal in the album then hit play for it to play the next song. Or put it in the UP NEXT.
First, make sure these items have checkmarks next to their names in iTunes. Continuous playback only works on checked items. Itunes will play all checked items in a list whether or not they're from the same album.
If you see that nothing in your library is checked and you want to check everything, hold down Ctrl while checking an item. This checks everything.
Next, fixing the "1 of 1" problem is easily. Select all the tracks that make up the book/album. Let's say there are 15. Press Ctrl-I. Doublecheck that the album box is filled in with the name of the book, and if not, type it there. Enter "15" in the box for the total number of tracks. Click OK. Now all the items should be "1 of 15," "2 of 15," and so on. -
