"The Customer line items not getting cleared through F-28"

Hi,
There are 4 line items when going into option FBL5N . However, payment has been received, and when going into option F-28 to post the payment, only 2 of the 4 lines appear, and the full payment cannot be allocated. Please advise why all 4 lines do not appear.

    If I use F-28 OR F-30, to create in coming payments manually, when I do FBL5N for the Open items, I see that Customer Payments are still reflected in the Open items. I expect that since I made the payment against the invoice the Open items should be cleared, why is this not happening?

    i guess figured it out as to what could be the problem with you..... here is an example what you have been throuhg
    you see the thing is your invoice was of 396/- $
    which has a discount of suppose  2%
    now the total amount the customer has to pay is  388.08$
    but what you actually recieved is less than what the customer had to pay lets say 380 $
    now what you might have done is according my analysis is that
    you cleared the invoice with 380 $ with out actly changing the discount amount , because the amount after discount was 388.08 $  but you cleared it with 380$ which means still the system says the customer has to pay a the balance 8.08$... 
    now what you need to do is to go back to the tcode F-32 and try to change the disc amount to an amount that would make the invoice amount equal to what the customer has paid.  and then try to clear the transactioin....
    and one more thing   i feel tcode f-28 is much better than tcode f-30 to avoid complications

    We require the profit center and plant code and division in FI
    documents (Posted through billing document or through direct FI entry)
    We are unable to input plant or profit center in the customer line item
    while using F-21 or any other FI transaction
    The plant and profit center is not appearing even in customer line item
    in RV document (From SD billing)
    We have made the Field status group as optional for the reconcilation
    accounts.

    Profit center / cost center are generally entered in revenue & expense line items (P&L items). Customer / vendor master and line items are balance sheet items which will not show profit / cost centers.

  • UWL items not getting cleared after performing action

    Hello
    We are on EP 7.0.
    We are experiencing a strange behaviorin UWL.
    When end users receive workitems in their inbox and they take the appropriate actions, the workitems still stay in the inbox. Normally they should no longer appear.
    I have tried the refresh in the UWL iview but no luck.
    It seems to work in DEV and other landscape. It does no work in Production. The software installation of UWL are the same across all landscapes.
    Is there any other setting that is required. In SAP GUI this is not an issue.
    Any feedback or tips would be helpful. thanks.

    As far as I can remember, this is a known limitation of UWL.

    I am unsure whether you use the correct button the refresh the UWL (it is well hidden!), check the slide 6 in this document :

  • WBS element field in the customer line item

    Hi Experts
    Clientu2019s requirement is to populate the WBS element in the customer line item.
    Field status of Posting key -01 for WBS element is u2013 Optional
    Field status of Customer recon a/c  for WBS element is u2013 Optional
    Still in the customer line item screen, the WBS element field is hidden.
    Kindly advise how to make the field WBS element available in the customer line item.

    Hello,
    When you post customer invoice, screen no 301 is active. Here you can find only fields like payment terms.baseline date,payment block etc.
    As this is not a cost object you will not find cost center, wbs element. You could find them on credit item.

  • Lock Box - item not getting cleared

    Hi,
    I m testing the lockbox process with the lock box file available online.
    I could be able to import the file and document got created. But i have some doubts, please try to reply for the same.
    1) payment advice got generated but the customer open item is still not cleared? do we need to process that further? the check status is applied and G/L document got posted.
    2) I think we can also process lock box posting through Idoc, what is the process flow? would you pease eloberate on this IDOC  process for lockbox.
    3) I am not able to understand the posting done (without clearing the customer open item). Both debit and credit posted to a bank account. would you please eloberate the posting done while lockbox processing?
    Please let me know if more information required.

    If you are able to load the lockbox file then customer items shall be cleared. Please check the posting rule config and clearing accounts maintained for lockbox.

  • Open Item not getting Cleared automatically

    Dear Sir,
    For a GL "Cenvat Clearing" , we have ticked the option "open Item Management" in FS00 .
    Our business scenario is as below :
    After MIGO , we do excise posting using J1IEX and here in the posted Fi document the GL "Cenvat Clearing" gets Credited . Subsequently during the MIRO this GL i.e "Cenvat Claering" gets Debited .
    My problem is that when I see in FBL3n for this GL the relevant transaction still appear under the open Items . Pl guide me , as what is the reason for this entry not getting cleared automatically .

    PO number cannot be taken as sort feild  hence the value is in blank always.
    You need to identify some value for this feild and as a process you need to tell your users to incorporate the same at the time of doing MIRO.
    Or other wise you can take out the assignment of sort key to this GL account, and as a process you can instruct your user to use reference feild and input a value. If you fell that this is a tedious process,
    the Identify another feild that is common for both debit and credit line items and try to post with a common valuie using, one ABAP program which will update this feild. Mind that this feild need to be in the OB74.

  • Freight line item not getting created in Invoice

    Hi,
    We are using Inbound IDOC to create invoice with freight line items in it, The message type used is INVOIC and the standard inbound function module is IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM, The invoice which is getting created does not hold the freight line item in it. Actually we hope the indicator Goods Item/Delivery costs/Both which is present in the invoice (RM08M-XWARE_BNK) determines the creation of freight items or not. In our case the invoice is getting created with the indicator value as 1 but we hope the value 3 would be required for frieght items.
    Please let me know if the above message type and the standard function module would be able to handle the creation of frieght line items or we need to look for some other option.

  • Approvers of Rejected line items not getting removed -Process controlled WF

    I have developed shopping cart approval using process controlled workflow. We are using SRM 7.0, patch level 9.
    Decision set used is item based approval for partial documents (Type 4)
    While testing I observed that when I reject any item, the corresponding approvers of that items are not getting removed.
    As per your requirement, if we create SC with 2 items A and B. Based on various conditions
    2 process levels are determined for item A, say approver X and approver Y at respective level.
    3 process levels are determined for item B, say approver X, approver Z1 and Z2.
    Approver X, rejects item A and approves item B. Since one item is rejected, the work item is sent to requestor for acceptance. All process levels are of type "Approval". Once the requestor clicks on "Accept" button, the item A, which is rejected gets deleted from the shopping cart.
    However now when I see the Approval Process Overview, the current approver shown is Y. The work item is sent to approver Y and the value of the shopping cart is shown as 0.00. Logically the approver Y should have been removed from approval process.
    Could you let me know if I am missing any step or do I need to do some coding to get rid of approvers of rejected items.

    We were using N-step process level on the item level contrast to example provide by SAP of N-step process leve on Header level. SAP uses standard tables /SAPSRM/D_WF_015 and /SAPSRM/D_WF_016 to implement the logic. We have customized the solution with logic on same line of sap but using bespoke tbale ZSAPSRM_D_WF_016. Let me know if anyone needs solution.

  • Tax Column on the Customer Line Item Report

    Hi All
    We need a report for AR that has the fields : Business Area, Customer, Document Type, Document Number, Clearing Document(if any), Currency, Posting date, Amount, tax amount, payment amount, due date, payment date..
    I tried the standard report (FBL5n) but it doesnt have the fields 'tax amount' and 'cleared amounts' - so I tried to join the BSID
    and BSAD table in a query - which again times out...
    Is there another table I can map and or when using table(s) BSID and BSAD - what should be my join conditions..?

    Please search the forum before posting your question.  This question has been asked several times.
    BSET does not maintain the values with respect to the Line Items.  So it is not possible to combine the values from BSET with line item reports.  You'll have to write a custom (Z-Report) report to cater your needs.

  • PR to PO conversion error - Partial line items not getting converted

    Hi All,
    Automatic PR to PO conversion ( ME59N ) is not happening for few line items.
    For the same Article,site, vendor combinations,its getting converted on few days and on few days its not.
    No changes were made to the any.
    1. Source List is created for the Article & Vendor combination. Validity is fine. Fixed vendor option is checked.
    2. Info record is maintained.
    3. Auto PO option is checked in Vendor Master
    4. No release Strategy
    Will the Purchase Group have any impact in the conversion?
    Kindly share your views.

    It's going to be a data selection problem.  If it was a problem with conversion you would see something recorded in the log (assuming you have the log parameter set to show all messages).
    Make sure the Auto PO flags are set in the correct purchasing org and site.  Does your requisition have a purcahsing org?
    What selection critera do you have set in ME59N?  You mention that that the problem only occurs on certain days so it could be related to the release date.
    The only other thing I could suggest is authorisation checks.  Are you approved for the correct activity types (the activity for ME59N is not create) , plants, purchasing groups etc.
    Also keep in mind everything I have said may not be relevant to the IS-Retail solution you are using.  I can't be certain if there are any differences in this area when you are running that solution.  It might be worth asking the question in that forum http://scn.sap.com/community/retail

    I wanted to clear Cenvat Clearing Account on the basis of Assignment field which should have Purchase Order Number.
    I maintained Sort Key as "014" Purchase order in Cenvat Clearing Account Master Data.
    However, RE Documents created by MIRO transaction do not populate Purchase Order in Assignment field instead it populated "00000".
    So, How to updated PO number in miro for Cenvat clearing account.
