The USB ports on my iMac work fine in some locations, but if the iMac is in my office, nothing happens when I click the mouse.

The USB ports on my iMac (purchased in 2013) were working fine. Suddenly, clicking my mouse elicits no response. When I move the iMac to the Apple store, it works fine -- and it works fine in other rooms in my house. Why won't it work in my study?

Have you tried plugging the mouse into another USB port on your Mac? Try gently wiggling the connector at each end of the calble while trying to use the mouse.

I would first try resetting the iPod:

When I render the page in Internet Explorer using IE Tab Plus everything works just fine.

Nevermind...just had to do a full reinstall. That means going to firefox folder on my computer, running helper.exe from the uninstall folder, and unchecking the box that lets you save your themes, addons, bookmarks, etc. The reinstalled version works perfectly. Now I just have to find all those addons again...

Lots of people are having this problem; it seems to be endemic across Mac Users. I think 12/26/12 is when some sort of disastrous iTunes programming change was made. Ironically, I was fine when I was using Leopard (10.5.8)--the temporary upgrade to Snow Leopard's initial system (straight off the install disc) a couple of days ago killed the Buy Button… until I checked "Software Update" (on the Apple Menu), it found a free upgrade to 10.6.8, and the problem's gone. Check Software Update to see what kind of system upgrade you can install for free, and that may well fix it. I think it's a new iTunes issue with older systems, but if you do whatever free upgrade Apple has for you, it might well work.

Open your Applications folder - find Safari in the applications, and double click on the icon in there. You may have a corrupt alias in the dock at the bottom.

That is never fun when your iPod touch does not show up on your Mac. Take a look at the article below to walk you through on getting it to show back up on your iTunes. It is very easy to read so you wont feel overwhelmed with to much techy jargon. Let me know if you get this worked out.

hold down the power button and the home button until ipad turns off then press the power button to turn it back on, this should solve your problem and most other problems you encounter.

Try delete those songs using iTunes by de-selecting and sync. After that mark those songs and sync again.

Try resetting your phone, hold the home and sleep/wake button down until the apple symbol comes up, then release. If that doesnt work, you may have damaged your phone and need to take it to an apple genius bar.
