Time elements in process order

Hi,
Where does the system takes time elements from in a process order. After scheduling the time elements are entered in the process order. But where does the system gets the time elements from. Does the master receipi has a role to play in it?
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Jyoti,
It depends upon that whether you are opting for lead time or basic time scheduling.........
It can take the value from the master recipe or the material master based upon the config done ..........
Do let me know if you have any further query regarding this.........
Please reward points help if helpful.......
Thanks

  • Basic and scheduling  dates & time calculation in process order creation

    Hi guru's,
i have one requirement, i need to calculate and display the basic and scheduled dates & times based on the given input i.e material , plant , process order type , quantity , UOM and scheduling type ( for corresponding scheduling type user will provide either start date or finish date ) using RFC. can  u plz provide any function module for this purpose or logic for calculating the same  , as i am working on version 4.7ee .
    Awaiting for a quick response.
    Regards,
    Madan

    Dear Rohan,
1.Check the length of break timings defined in the resource that is assigned in the phase.
2.Check in OPUZ whether for the process order type and plant combination whether scheduling is to include the break time also
(whether the check box for scheduling with breaks) is included.
    Check and revert back.

  • Lead Time calculation in process order

    Hi,
I have a process order to be created of 112.6 L. i have only one phase  & one resource allocated. i have maintained my OH time as 1 H in my master recipe. now for resource i have maintained scheduling formula as ZRUNA = OH.
After creating Process order the system calculates phase timing as 1:17:44. Can anyone pls let me know how did system calculate 17 min & 44 sec extra.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • How to ignore pegging from a process order in APO?

    Hi! Experts,
I have an requirement in APO 4.0 that I need to make process orders not relevant for pegging i.e. since the process order gets automatically pegged to the newly created demand elements. I need to ignore pegging for some specific supply elements (process orders).
I have found the BAdI /SAPAPO/RRP_PLANNING which gets called when a Heuristic Run is done from a Product View. Also, I have found internally that if the PEG_ID of a Process Order is removed programmatically a new Plan Order gets created of the same quantity. However, the old Process Order still remains pegged with the Demand Element & the newly Plan Order does not get pegged to the Demand element.
Please help me with this issue as I am new to APO ABAP.
Also, please revert with your valuable suggestions or in case you require any further information on the same.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards,
    Mistry Wasim

    Hi! Nitin,
    Thanks for your quick response.
But I need to ignore pegging for some specific Supply Elements like Process Order (Released) other then that I want the dynamic pegging to be there for Plan Orders.
I mean to say, that if the Process Order(R) gets 'Not Relevant to Pegging' (one of the column in Product View) system will automatically create Plan Order to make the sum as zero for the Demand.
Also, using the above mentioned BAdI I succeeded to some extend like if I remove the process order line item from internal table CT_IONODES in method PEGID_GET_IO a corresponding new Plan Order gets created but still the major issue to ignore pegging of Process Order remains as I can see the same in the 'Context' for the Demand.
I hope this would provide you with more inputs on the requirement.

  • Process Order creates Multiple Inspection for Same Batch

    Hi Guys,
Expert opinion is needed to have this issue fixed.
Issue:When a new Process Order is created it automatically creates in storage location A.  There are times when a process order needs to be created into another storage location B.  When the Process Order is created and then is changed from A to B  it will  create two inspection lots for one batch, one for each storage location.  From the plant perspective they only need one Inspection lot as they will not create two set of samples for testing since it is the same batch it just went into a different storage location then it was originally created for.  Is there a way to change SAP  so that it only creates one Inspection lot per batch.
Control InspLot field in QM view for Insp Type 04 is X
We had different scenarios with same Batch
SCENARIO #1:  Sloc is changed to B prior to Release, in CRTD status of order Sloc was A
So there are 2 Insp. Lot created one for A & another for B after GR in Sloc B
SCENARIO #2:  Sloc is changed to B after  Release
IL is created after Release of order with Sloc A, after changing Sloc B in process order and performing GR, new IL is created for Sloc B
Business scenario is certain times of the year where one creates a PO with one Sloc and then it needs to be GR into a different Sloc.
They are generating a lot of IL’s that are not used and it seems like every year they need to get UD’s made on IL’s for finance to close out the year which is cumbersome.
Please suggest way out, objective is one process should have one IL per Batch irrespective of Sloc

There are several things that come to mind.
First and foremost, get the planning right so that the process orders are created properly the first time around.  This is a business issue.  Yes.. I don't know your business.. no, you really aren't all that different then the thousands of other businesses using SAP.  The root cause of this is you don't know what is going where when you order it or in the case of process orders, where you intend to make it or store it.  That's a basic planning problem.
2 - you must have early lot creation turned on, "Y".  You can't be using "X".  X would only create an 04 lot when you do the GR so if you change the storage location prior to the Process order being released I'm not sure how you are generating two lots.  Are you sure all the lots in question are 04 lots? Are you maybe seeing an 03 lot?  Or possibly an 08 lot?  Something doesn't sound right here.
3 - If you receive into two storage locations from one process order, you will get two inspection lots.  No way around this.  There is stock associated with these.  You could use customization to suppress the second receipt but that stock would go right to UR with no inspection.
    4. Don't change the storage locations  in the process orders at all.  You can use the stock posting screen in the UD and change the storage location when you make the UD.
    5.  Another option is to again, don't change the storage location in the PO but use QAC2 transaction to transfer the inspection lot into the proper storage location.
You need to explain your scenarios better cause I really don't see how you are getting the two lots when you make all your changes in the process order prior to releasing the process order.  That doesn't make any sense at all.

  • Process order IDOC

    Hi Gurus,
    Please help.
I wanted to send "All" details of a process order to a legacy system "immediate". All details includes process order header material, operations, all components and their details.
In material master (master data) we can activate change pointer for material and use BD21 to schedule (every xy minutes) to send the material master to a remote system.
Do we have such facility in process order (production order)?
I did the research on following:
POIT : Good transaction but unable to get the process orders which are changed for a given time
LOIPRO: Used this mesage, but it is not selecting all components of a process order
Is there a "standard way" to trigger the process order details to a legacy system?
    Thanks for your help.
    - Nagarajan

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. My requirement is to send the process orders during each save time after the process order is released. Before release is also fine, so in general the requirement is send the process order to a legacy system whenever the process order is saved.
I tried to execute this program with material number range, logical system and message type "LOIPRO". It didn't do anything.
    Please help.
    Thanks

  • Batch number coming automatically at the time of Process order release

    Hi All,
I want the system generated batch number for header material to come automatically at the time of process order release.
At present ,the batch number is entered manualy dering process order creation.
Can anyone pls guide abt the settings required for the same

    Dear,
Define the  production scheduling profile CORY then
Auto Batch Creation = 2 On release.
Then assign this to your FG or SFG materials in work scheduling view in material msater MM02. Then create new order and check.
Now for automatic generation i have to set internal number asignment for batches.
Batch will create for movement type say 101 SPROLogistics - GeneralBatch mangment--Creation of New Batches --Define Batch Creation for Goods Movements. so it will have same logic in MM for 101 GR against PO will be internal number range but no effect in SD.

  • Automatic Reservation at the time of process order creation

    Hi Experts,
As you are aware, when we create a process order and save, system automatically generates the reservation and the reservation will be for movement type 261. My requirement is like this. When system creates reservation, system should consider for which order type the process order is created and create a reservation for other movement type also.
For eg. Iam having order type ZRRW. When system creates reservation at the time of order creation, system should check the order type and reservation should be created for a movement type Z11 instead of 261 in the normal case.
Is there any user exit for the same. Please let me know.
Else how can I post the goods issue with a movement type other than 261. MIGO is not accepting other movement types.
    Anticipating your reply
    Regards
    Prathib

    Hi Ayethebing,
Thanks for the reply. we created the new movement types inorder to use the SAP standard reports and get the different types of goods movements based on the different processes.
We can do the goods issue using the custom movement type through MB1A. But I was trying to use in MIGO and this is where system wont allow this.
In MIGO, system will do the goods issue based on reservation only. The reservation is created at the time of order creation and it uses movement type 261 irrespective of the order type.
I was trying to find out whether any option is there to use custom movement type to create reservation so that system would propose this movement type in MIGO for goods issue against process order.
This is an interesting case but unfortunately dont have any option of user exit or Badi. Only one user exit related to reservation is to change the str loc and back flush indicator.
@Sabine: Thanks for your reply. But the BADI that you provided wont serve the purpose.
    Thanks

  • Process Order Batch number generation at the time of order creation

    Dear All,
I m facing some issue at the time process order creation:
    Current Settings:
    1. Batch Number Creation at the time of order create.
Reason for this setting: Release of order is done  by releasing operations one by one, therfore batch number will be generated on the final operation release, thats why we set up batch creation at the time of order create.
    2. For FG batch number generation there is a program that copy the SFG(in Order BOM) Batch number to FG. ITs a industry requirement.
    Problem:
when we create FG order system generate the error message at the time of order creation tht No batch could be determine.
    Please suggest the solution
    Thanks,

    Hi
Hope you have cretaed Batch serch strategy in COB1

  • Batch selection at the time of GR for Process Order

    HI experts,
I have the following problem -
I have got a process order of 51, at the time of order creation I have assigned/created 2 batches for the process order using some development and making use of user field. Now at the time of GR after final confirmation, I want to select the batch number for the required quantity, i.e I want to do the GR for both batches, and I want to select the specific batch from the assigned 2 batches. I am facing a problem that , the GR by default selects the first batch of the order and the batch number field greys out. I am not able to select the second batch if I go for second GR of the same process order.
How can I make the field selectable , such that I can select the required batch at the time of GR.
    Regards
    A S K

There is a possibility to use batch split- kindly check if you are able to do this

  • Scheduling Time in process order

    Dear All
While creating process order system is not picking scheduling time as per maintained in recipe because of this capacity is not being load on WC & showing zero reqmnt. Whreas date are properly calculating as per inhouse time maintained. In OPUZ i had ticked both scheduling & capacity reqmnt.
In resource i had maintained all parameter in capacity & capacity is showing as 24 Hr. Scheduling & Capacity fromula had aslo maintain. Wht could be other reason for nt calculating time as per recipe.
    Thanks & regards

    Rashid,
So is the dates getting populated correctly after scheduing function? If so then probably you current system design it to perform scheduling manually. You can use the "Production Scheduling profile" to perform this automatically. You need to assign a production scheduling profile defined for automatic Scheduling at the creation stage to you materil master "Work Scheduling" view

  • Process order scheduling based on in-house production time.

    Hello!
I have following problem. My SAP system is configured in that way that process oedrs are schedulled based on times saved in master recipies. When I input data to in-house production time in master data for materials and make new process order, this time is not
    taken into account.
Where I have to change configuration to use in-house production time from material master data to make scheduling process orders.
    Regards
    Bogdan

    Dear
Process Order /Production Order scheduling ( Lead Time Scheduling )  based on the Operation timings in the routing not based on the Material Master In house Production Time in Work Scheduling View .
If you are loking for Basic Date Scheduling then it will happend based on material master , scheduling margin key  at material master level .
It depends the selection of Schedueling indicator while excetion of MRP in MD02 .
In case of Process order specifically , you need  to schedule the Master Recipe and check whether operations are getting scheduled, if it is not then you need to first the problem, which may be because of wrong "Forumla" or paramater assigned in resource or the resource is not maintained for Finite scheduling (capacity header).
Master reciepe can be schedule in the change transaction C202, and from menu you would find the option to schedule the recipe .
Also  check the OPU3/OPU5-Define scheduling parametres wether scheuling , adjust scheduling , scheuling type , logs all are in place .
    Check and revert
