Time Management automatic Quota accrual rule

Hi Experts,
I want to configure leaves as per following basis...
we want to generate quota based on ES group, also based on days worked on off days with accrual period.
Example:
Mr X (Employee sub group 01) works 24 days continuously and also works on holidays (which is assigned to his/her calender), after specific period (24 days in this case), he is eligible to get quota for those days which he had worked on holidays. For example 5 off days was included in his 24 days he worked.. now he is eligible to get 5 days off...(Paid)
How can we configure above case ?
Thanks in advance for your time...
Regards,
Muhammad Umer

Mr. Umer,
Create a Absence type and Quota
Quota generation type is - Generation
Base entitlement - maintain a time type
select Counting rule for (Public Holidays & Holidays)
Generation rule....
write a PCR on the same to store howmany days he worked on Doffs ....in time type....
Copy TR11 PCR and change in to YR11 and insert your Time type in Schema above the CUMBT.
Cheers

  • Error in RPTQTA00  "Automatic quota accrual "

    Hi Experts,
I have done all configuration for Automatic quota accrual. But when I am running the report PT_QTA00 -> RPTQTA00 an error message is coming :
E     00000005     You have not selected any generation rules.
    Please advise.

    Hi Tomesh/Revathi,
its a co-incidence i had the same problem this morning.
I found the solution...but i had below config in my system, so check if thats what u want..
step 1: Check return value of Quomo- if it is 01 (tcode:pe03:quomo)
step 2: check PSG for time recording is -01 i.e if quomo is 01(table:V_001P_H)
step 3: Generation rules for Quota type selection- in 3rd column PSG is 01(same as return value of quomo)(table:V_T559L)
step 4: In you automatic accrual (Determine Absence Quota Type for Accrual)(table V_556A_B) it is set to INCREASE..note:NOT no deduction.
Then you can generate quotas using PT60 with Evaluation schema TQTA.
else just change from Increase to No deduction.
    hope it works.

  • Time Management / Absence Quota

    Hi Experts,
Need help to have clarity as to how to generate paid leave :
Quota Generation: per month (3 day for every completed month of service) accrual during the probation period (first 6 months after joining)
Deduction Rule: Deduction from the accumulated leave balance
Availing Rule: Need to restrict for availing during probation period.
Rounding off:  Rounding off fraction to full day during every quarter.
    Accumulation Rule: Till 300.
Encashment: Encashment over and above 60 days of quota; only once in a year /or during separation / superannuation.
Pl treat it as urgent as I have no clarity how to fix it

Would you mind send me these docs, too? I really appreciate it... I've to customize some absence quotas and I've some problems... I think that I'm missing steps...

  • How to remove annual leave accrued in  time management

    Hi all.
I have question in Time management. When I run some employees, their annual leave increase 15 days every day. So at the end of the year
their annual leave become more than 10000 days. How I want to stop this. What I want annual leave for this staff is 15 days every year and
the max carry forward can is 15 days per year. Can you help me.I'm too new in time management let alone negative time management.
    Thanks

I believe you are referring to Absence Quota Accrual right?
If it is, table T556C (SM30) has all the customizing for counting and deduction rule. For the counting rule, check if you haven't set a multiplier.
But more important, is to check V_T559L -> Selection Rules. I believe you have a bad customizing for the ACcrual Period. If you want to accrue yearly based, I would recommend maintaining IT0041 with the date employee entered company and use it on the field Rel. to Date Type.
Of course, you can accrue as per calendar year as well.
Please check that and get back in case you still have issues.
    Regards,
    Bentow.

  • Key difference between Negative & Positive Time Managment

    Dear Consultants,
Please provide the information regarding the key differences between Negative Time Management & Positive Time Management.

Can a client opt for both Positive & Negative TM?
    Regards,

    See the re
Please provide the information regarding the key differences between Negative Time Management & Positive Time Management.
Time Management can be bifurcated types:
    1. Positive Time (+ve Time) ? Positive time is plays the total role of workflow. All the processes related to time are automatically gets executed in the background. E.g., in our case it is done only partially to validate the attendance as per punches and other documents with shift timing and generate absence automatically in case of any discrepancy.
    2. Negative Time (-ve Time) ? Where the all time related activities like validation of the attendance, posting of absence for wage deduction etc are done manually. It has less level of integration among the different components of time management.
    Negative Time Recording:
    1. Records time deviations to Planned Working Time
    2. Valid deviations include: Absences, Special Absences, On Call Duty, Overtime, Substitutions, Time off in lieu
    3. Deviations are manually entered according to type & duration.
    Positive Time Recording:
    1. Records the attendance time of the employee
    2. Records the deviation times of the employee
    3. Valid attendances include: Training, Business Trips, Seminars, Overtime.
    4. Attendances & deviations can be entered either:
    - Front end system
    - Manually.
Positive Time Management we have two types of recordings:
    1. With Clock times - Complete time recording is captured
    2. With out Clock times - Only Number of hourse worked is captured
    Negetive time Management:
    1. No clock times and assumed employee is working unless and until his or her absences are entered.
How is the process of getting data from time recording system to SAP how can we connect time recording system to SAP? How do we interface for positive time management?
    To simplify:
We can consider two independent systems:
    1. SAP System which contains Planned Working time
    2. Time recorder system which contains the actual timings
Now as Time recorder system will contain all Clock in & Clock outs, the data needs to be uploaded to SAP system either as Scheduled job at back end or online in critical cases.
Based on our Time pair and other IMG settings in SAP System and comparison of IT2011 with IT2000, it generates values of OT,Absences etc etc.
This job can be effectively done in proper coordination with Basis, ABAPers and Time Consultants.
Under what circumstances, we shouldn't recommend for Positive Time Management?
    >>>If the company has only salaried employees /exempt empls, where you dont record their OT, DT, etc..
    >>>If Company has already another system which records time and can provide just total hours to be paid off in Regular / OT/ DT and also could update quotas
What are the major challenges for the client/end-user in using Positive Time Management?
    >>>Integration between 3rd party system and SAP - Interface, logics
    >>> Accruals and Quota
What would be the duration required to implement Negative TM?
    >>> Few months *
What would be the duration required to implement Positive TM?
    >>> Depends on volume diversity you have in time recording. May be between few months to a year.
What are the limitations of Negative TM?
    >>> Detailed reporting may not be available in SAP and Posting Timesheets to CO/Billing would out of scope
    >>> Also refer to SAP documents and presentation by clients in market place for more details
Can a client opt for both Positive & Negative TM?
    >>> Yes you can

  • Absence Quota Accruals  from days to hrs

    Hi Guys,
I need to change the Absence Quota Accruals process in SAP ERP ECC 6.0 system from Accruing time in days to hours. All necessary configuration changes are to be made in the development system (including Time and Payroll Schema changes for absence quota accrual, year-end transfer of unused balance and payout) and upon approval be transported and tested to the Quality Assurance system and Production. All past historic/archive transactions and records must be changed and reflect the absence quotas in hours.
Pls. let me know the steps for doing the same.
    Tnx
    SKR

Go to the table V_T556A and change days to hours for your quota.
Ccheck the deduction rule attached to the absence(which is related to quota) and change the units to hours.
You may have to run the time evaluation in  the update  mode from the retro date (past date). But I wouldn't suggest you to run the time eval from the past date untill it is tested regurously in the QA system, because retroing may cause some issues.

  • What are the major challenges for the end-user in using Positive Time Management

    Hi Seniors,
Can anybody please provide me some data on the same.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Positive time management is slightly difficult to implement compared to negative time management.
In negative time management, you use planned working times + deviations in time evaluation.
In positive time management, you record actual times through time recording system. You have to bring these times to SAP through an interface and then evaluate the actual times against the planned times and accordingly pay them out. You would need to pay attention regarding the integration between SAP R/3 and time recording system.
Building rules for positive time management is slightly more challenging compared to negative time management.
Kindly go through the below documents on positive time management which will give you more idea about the same.
Integration of Time Recording Terminals with SAP R/3
Determination of First Clock In & Last Clock Out in Positive Time Evaluation
Late Coming, Early Going and Unauthorized absence
Prorated Grant of Absence Quota for Contract Period in Time Evaluation
Splitting of Overtime Hours after X Hours in Time Evaluation
Rounding off Overtime Hours Generated via T510S table in Time Evaluation
Public Holiday Calendar and Work Schedule Rules
I hope these are helpful to you.
    Thanks and regards,

Here i have an issue in writing a rule for time schema TMOO in TM ,the requirement as follows:
1.Rule must check for quota type 01 on 31st dec 2009 and if it has more than 5 days then quota type 02 should have 5 days on 1st jan 2010.If Q type 01 has anything between 0 to 5 days then qType 02 must have only the remaining days in qtype 01.

  • Time management - Positive

    Hi Expers,
I have query regarding time management. The scenario is I am doing SAP-HR implementation of manufacturing company who are using time machine to capture clock-in and clock-out time. Now they want us to upload this time data (In-time and out-time) of employee into SAP through BDC and process it accordingly as present, late, overtime and absent.
    My query is :
In which time infotype do i update in-out data of employee (Is it 2001, 2002 or 2011 and then move to 2001 and 2002)
How and where do i do logic building for raw in-out data being present, absent , overtime or late.
What should be the Time Management Status (0, 7 or 9),
How do i link attendance of employee with work schedule of employee
Thanks a lot for your support.
    Regards,
    Jyoti

    Hi,
    1. It won't update the 2002 infotype, until you write coding to store the timings. If you have clock in, outs..you can upload into 2011IT. In this record pair formation is there as per standard. It you update in 2002 there is no pair formation, you have to create 2 attendance types and need to update the clock in,out. But, in 2011 no need to create/configure anything else. Here we can store the actual date of the employee timings. so better suggestion, write BDC program with abaper then upload the clock in, out. Before updating clock -in, out , maintain the 0050IT.
Time data get process in payroll by the PARTT function, if you have overtime then it will with ZLIT function time date will process in payroll. you can get the no.of working days, calendar days(present days) in in ur payslip. for this you can use TKSOLL, TSSOLL.
    2. After clock out employee, system will check the excess hours of the employee, if employee worked more than work schedule hours, then system will consider as overtime i.e, excess hours after clock out.
Group A:  after excess hours we can pay overtime remuneration to employee by end of the month. ZL table will pass the no.of hours into payroll system by time wage type. For this, you have create one time wage type and update the Processing class 17 - A specification.
Group B: Transfer the excess hours(overtime ) into one time type, assign this time type to absence quota in base entitlement. then you can create the leave type and assign this leave to to absence quota. then employee can take the paid leaves. or you can encash the leaves.
Group C: for 8:30 hour overtime you have to write a rule for this condition. You can convert the excess hours into leaves(as per group B), for less than 8:30 hours then need to go with PCR. and you can pay as ex-gratio by maining 14, 15IT
Group D: follow the Group B procedure.
    3. for late coming purpose you have to write one rule by quering PBEG, PEND.
I hope you will understand the above.
    Regards.
    Devi.
