Timeline disappears

Question

I have created a timeline with show/hide behaviors that is
functioning correctly when I save a file. When I reopen the file,
the asterisk appears next to the title as if the file has been
updated, but this occurs as soon as I open the file. I have not
made any changes. When I display the timeline window, the behaviors
attached to the timeline have disappeared. It appears that the
following function is being deleted when I reopen the file. It's in
the code when I save the file, but is gone when I reopen it (hence
the * by the file title?).
