To add additonal rows(text) in ALV report

Hi there,
I want to add additional ROWS at the bottom of each grouping.
Right now I am getting customer wise total comission amount but the requirement is on commsion amt ,i need to calculate 10 % tax and 2% tax and these taxes should get genrated below the commsion amt column as like below:
Company code Customer Commsion Amt
2000 101 1000
2000 101 2000
Total Comsion 3000
10% Service Tax 300
2% Edn Tax 6
Total 3306
2000 102 1230
2000 102 678
The output should be like this in ALV report .Could anyone plz help me out on this.

Hi Archana,
You can have the subtotal displayed for each company code and commision in the alv.
At end of each comp code and customer , pass the total of the whole amount into a line and you can display a line of this total.
Your alv gets displayed like this .
2000 101 1000
2000 101 2000
Total Comsion 3000
10% Service Tax 300
2% Edn Tax 6

The third possibility is some kind of customization of the presentation of the data. This will involve using some combination of HTML/CSS/Dynamic Actions/Plug-ins/JavaScript that you may not be familiar with: do you have experience of these? To go down that route you need to describe in detail how you want to present the data, or what behaviour is required when the data is too long, and share an example of the report on apex.oracle.com that we can work with.

Edit a selected row in an alv report after pressing a push button ?

I want to edit a selected row in an alv report but that too after i press a push button . After pressing the push button , a pop up shud *** showing all the entries of the selected row which shud be editable and after editing it shud be saved into the database table.
How can i do this please help asap ???

How to add text Sum1, Sum2, Sum3 to the report?
I tried to use subtotals_text and totals_text in slis_layout_alv for REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY but that did not work out. I also tried to look for methods using CL_SALV_TABLE class and have not been able to find a solution yet.

The scenario is that I have to create a formula (contract end date-current date) and have to display the result using exeption to highlight the contracts ending in 30-60 days.
The problem is that the info provider does not have any infoobject for date(only valid to and validity start date)
I have created a formula variable on valid to date using replacement path. But dont have any variable to use for current date.
The only time char in the cube is Fiscal yera variant.
How should I go futher creating such formula? Shall I user customer exit variable? But I dont have any date char to create on.
Can you shed some light on this problem

Add $ and % to fields in ALV report

How to add $ and % sybmbols to field values in ALV report. I cannot use a Char as I need to do totals and subtotals for those fields.

Hi,
You cannot use % or $ or any special characters if you want to use the standard SAP totaling ans subtotaling.. you need to create another field adjacent to that field and show the currency or %.
Otherwise you need to do the totaling logic yourself and then you can use $ or %

Problem in display of text in ALV report

Dear experts,
I am working on a MM Report in which I need to display Material Basic data text maintained in MM01,02 Tcodes through ALV report.
I have declared a string type variable for the Basic data text in the Final Internal Table.
For reading the Standard text I am using Read_Text FM, from which I am looping the Text internal table and concatenating it into
String variable.
What I notice is all the content beyond 255 chars is not getting displayed, Even when the ALV report is downloaded to Excel file.
Can you suggest some approach to over come this issue.

Standard Purchase Order Long Text In ALV Report

Hi Gurus,
I am able to get the charecter space for long text in the ALV report but i could not able to get the text in that space out put.
I have used ekko and ekpo tables.
Please provide me the code are solution to display the Text in that particular space.

Hi all,
I am able to see the PO text, But when i moved it to production system i find
1) it is taking too much time to execute. 2) I find the first PO text in the purchase document is getting repeated for all other purchase documents in the run where their is no Po text .
Please help me how to restrict the repeated Text.
And also to improve the performance

Displaying Header Text in ALV report.

I have one sales order which has header Text.
I am displaying that Header Text in my ALV report.
But while displaying in the ALV grid, the text is not coming full.
I have taken the datatype of the column of the ALV grid is string, Still the Header text is not come full.

Hi,
    If the header text is morethan 60 characters, you can't print with REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE. To overcome above limit we can use dynamic document, which can be implemented through the class CL_DD_DOCUMENT. As dynamic documents use HTML viewer control so instead of triggering the TOP_OF_PAGE event we should trigger event of HTML TOP_OF_PAGE.
First create a subroutine for top of page in HTML format and send that name in I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE parameter of ALV function module. The input parameter for this subroutine will be a variable of class CL_DD_DOCUMENT.

How to preselect all rows before displaying ALV report

I would like to select all rows before sending ALV Grid Display. User then can unselect couple of rows for further processing. How do I do that ?. Im using Method grid1->SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY for ALV Report Display. Any help appreciated.

I've started the editor and check my code. I made few small mistakes (like with this exporting/importing), here's the sample - correctly working - code:

Freezing of totaling row in an ALV report

Hello friends,
I am doing the total of a particular field in an ALV report.The shows a lot of data so we have to scroll down to see the full report. I would like to show the total on first display of the report without scrolling down.It means that I would like to freeze the row showing the total.Is this possible.
Please advice me on this issue.

One way is to implement the END-OF-PAGE event and do the total manually of all items and show the total value in the END-OF-PAGE.
