TO BE DELIVERED

hi,
we are facing problem in resolving the "TO BE DELIVERED" message status.
went through many forums and most of them are recommending for adapter engine restart.before doing that we checked
SMQ2 is empty and http://<HOST>:<PORT>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI
is retunring 200 .AIFUSER and APPLUSER are not blocked, cant see any errors in AUDIT log against "to be delivered" message.
moreover in our scenario if one message is set to be delievered the successive messages are all set with the same status "to be delivered".
cheked sxmb_moni and no system failures found.
can any one explain what exactly "to be delivered " is and how can we resolve without restarting adapter engine.

Hi rama krishna !
To_be_delivered means that the message was successfully delivered from Integration Server point of view and it states that the messages is initially handed over to the Messaging System.
TO_BE_DELIVERED occurs while the message is put into the Messaging System receive queue.
did you check sxmb_moni_bpe,see if you get any error there for your BPM
also check smq1 and smq2,make sure you dont have any queues stuck there,
What does the audit log say in RWB?
Otherwise you might want to extend the trace file.
You can access the files with the log viewer service of the J2EE Visual Administrator or with the standalone log viewer.
Traces are used to analyze runtime errors. By setting a specific trace level for specific locations, you can analyze the behavior of individual code segments at class and method level. This is done with the help of the log configurator service:
 Services
 Log Configurator
 Locations
 Choose the location (Java package) and the tracing level (severity)
(for example, com.sap.aii.adapter.file)
 Root Location > com > sap > aii > File
 Set the severity and choose Copy Severity to Subtree.
go through the following threads...which already discussed about the same problem

• Open Qty and Delivered Qty remains same even after Return

Hello
After making return, the open qty remains the same and its not reflecting the return qty.
for e.g.
I have made a Sale Order of 100 qty
I delivered 20
In sales order my Delivered Qty is 20 and Open qty is 80
Now I made a Return of above 20 Qty
But after that the Order is still showing Delivered 20 and Open Qty 80
The Open qty should be 0 at this stage.
Regards
Indrajit

Hi Indrajit ,
Your doubt is genuine .
The Open quantity of SALES ORDER , at item level (row) does not increase by returning the goods.
Once you have delivered the goods it will reduced from the Open quantity .
.You have to create a new Sales Order for further Open quantity
Thanks

• ITunes Match Unable To Get Past "Waiting for Apple to deliver your iTunes Match results..."

Been trying for days but it just gets to "Waiting for Apple to deliver your iTunes Match results..." and then stops and allows me to press the Start button again to start the match process. Sometimes I get error -3231.
I've called Apple and they want $19 to solve the issue even though I paid the $25 for Match.
I've turned iTunes Match off. Turned Genius off. Logged out of my iTunes account. Quit iTunes. Restarted. Logged back into iTunes account. Turn Genius on. Turn iTunes Match back on and let it go through the process again with no success.
My library has a couple hundred songs less than the 25,000 max but it is pretty large. Had the same issue when I tried with a smaller library some time ago. I've created a new library and have the same issue.

Hi,
You should consider rebooting your internet router
Then try holding option key whilst turning off match. Close iTunes and then reopen. Turn on iTunes Match and select add this computer.

• Error message - While creating a deliver document

Hi Guys,
I am trying to create a sales order and eventually want to create the subsequent - 'Delivery document'.
I did look into the schedule line and it has confirmed the quantity.
But when I try to deliver it it gives an error message
"There are no schedule lines due for the given order item up
to the date chosen."
Not sure what is teh reason.
Can the factory calender being a reason for the problem.
Any help will be made of great help.
Regards,
Pandi

Hi Jonathan,
Thats was indeed fantastic and it worked.
The issue seems to be a combination of current date (factory calender) + date when the material is available from the schedule line.
In my case the material was available on 17/03/08 in the schedule line and the delivery screen was taking the current date - 15/03/08.
I changed it to the date inline with the schedule line and it worked.
Thanks for the help and quick response.
Regards,
Pandi

• Error:Message could not be delivered will remain in Outbox

The error message further states that "The server*** cannot be contacted on port 25" This happens when the computer is sleeping and an alarm is sent from iCal. On my older computer, the mail would open automatically and display the alarm message as soon as I opened the computer. No it opens but gives the above error message. Do I need to change a setting of some kind?
Macbook Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Thanks for responding
Is this email account and SMTP server provided by your ISP used for connecting to the internet or an email account provider only that is not associated with your ISP?
This email account is associated with my ISP.
I have no other problems forward, sending or receiving mail on this account. The only problem remains when iCal sends an alarm and my computer is in"sleep" mode. Then the message stays in my Outbox and won't be delivered.

• Free Goods being delivered when shouldn't be!!

Hi All
I have a problem and I need some help. To explain it easier I have outline the scenario below:
Free goods (discount type NA00) has been set up for customer Y, sales org 1000 and distribution chanel 12 though VBN1. It is an exclusive free good so that when item A is purchased they receive item B free. The "Free goods delivery control" has been set to B - Delivery only when main item is fully delivered.
Item A currently does not have stock and stock will not arrive until 30 September while item B already has stock in the warehouse.
Even though we have the setting B indicated for the delivery control, a delivery document can still be created. When creating the delivery an information (green) message indicating "Free goods group not complete" appears prior to creation (VL261) but you can still create the delivery for the free goods item only (item B).
I have tried indicating item A as complete delivery in the sales order but the same happens. Also I am unable to create a delivery group for the item in the sales order so that ones out as well.
Does anyone know a way that we can stop this from happening so that item A and B are ALLWAYS delivered at the same time or item B can only be delivered after item A has been delivered.
Is there a way that we can change the message from an information (green) message to an error (red) message?
The customer does not want to customise their system through ABAP which will be maintained by SAP in later releases. They want to do the least amount of ABAP and stick with configuration where possible.
Cheers
Tammy

Hi,
See as your stock is not available for the item A then give the delivery block to item B.
So that it will be not open for the delivery. This is the one way which you can do it.
Now your stock for item A will available from 30sept but i donu2019t know whether this situation will happen other month also or not.
So other this you can do is change the material availability date of the item B also.
So if you change that setting and make is similar to your item A then also you can solve your problem.
Like giving the pick pack time or loading time to the item B which will increase the material availability date of your item.
But for one time issue you should use delivery block.
And if its occurring every month then change the availability date of your item B.
Regards
Raj.

Same problem here with and I've done everything shy of a total reset which I also find unacceptable. This problem exists on all iMessage platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Mac) so I don't see how restoring my iPhone would help the problem.

• Apple unable to deliver my first iMac !

This is quite a bad first impression. After having been convinced by an Ipod Touch, I decided to become a switcher (and thus start a process that would have kicked out all windows based PC from our house) and ordered a promising iMac 27 i7 with 1To and SSD disk.
Paid with credit card on 26th nov (black friday, 100 EUR off the expensive stuff) and due to be delivered on the latest today...
As you can guess, we have been waiting for the baby... and ? NOTHING !
French customer support has just informed us that the box is in Ireland !!!
I was sure that this never happen with a MAC neither (no blue screen, no virus, no... no problem !).
I am indeed upset and my sons will probably make fun of me and my switcher attitude.
I can even not cancel the damned order as it has been shipped (at least, not yet).
Guess what has said the Apple girl ? OK, sir, you did indeed your part by paying the money, we are not to be blamed, it is the forwarder who is guilty (UPS). So what ? At least, a discount or any additional features would have calm me down.
Am I the only one or Apple is not becoming to big to run ?

Well, Roger, I suppose according to your message I am not supposed to give a further reply (argh too late !). Firstly thank you and so, I do apologize as I was probably reacting too quickly.
Well, I can feel you're "Apple" minded but in my world, product or service are to be delivered on time. I thought it was even more the case by Apple (which indeed commit to deliver on the latest today). Never, I could tell to a disappointed customer that I am not responsible, it is my forwarder : they have have chosen and dealt with UPS, not me ! Apple claim free delivery, but no delivery at all !
I was willing to switch because I can't take more from Windows world but since I started to dig in, I have heard also quite many issues by Apple stuff, from yellowish screen to riplocked superdrives, or useless Iphones !
OK, after all, perfectness does not exist... ouch, I have paid close to 2800 EUR, almost 3500 USD !!!
For further question, I promise, I'll go through the whole forum first, such as compensation for late deliveries...

• Mail to a specific domain not being delivered

We are able to send/receive emails to external domains and everything seems to be fine with our exchange server except when we try to send mails to this one domain @ ju.ahg.com.sa
Upon troubleshooting further, we came to know this domain doesn't have a valid MX record.
Yet the mails to this domain get delivered by gmail and other email services.
If we use the SMTPDIAG tool, below is the output.
Note that when its done from our domain, it gives error, when done from gmail ...its success!
How can we fix this issue?
SmtpDiag.exe "[email protected]" "[email protected]"

Checking MX records using UDP: ju.ahg.com.sa.
Error: No MX or A records were found for the remote domain. Verify that the
remote domain is valid. Your firewall allows outbound DNS queries (Windows
NT/2000 Server requires TCP), and your DNS server can resolve external domains.

You are right, when I looked up using MXTOOLBOX.com ; this domain seems to have a valid MX record, but no valid A record. Would that be the cause?
Also, I tried through the command line, and it seems my DNS server is unable to resolve, so I am not even getting the MX record.
I have 2 DNS servers , how can I try these commands to use the other DNS server ;
as I tried on both servers, It gives the name of the first server only and says it can't find this domain: Non-existent domain.

• Adobe Store takes too long to deliver download and serial information

Earlier this week we received some Indesign files for a job, but they were in Indesign 5 format, so we were unable to open them with Indesign CS4. So, taking this as a sign that it was time to upgrade, yesterday, at around 1pm UK time I purchased the upgrade from Creative Suite Design Premium 4 to Creative Suite Design Premium 5.5. I logged onto the Adobe.com store, looked at the options - Home and Home Business, Small and Medium Business, Eductation and selected Small and Medium Business (because that is what we are). I purchased the upgrade (as a download), received a confirmation email from Adobe and waited....and waited...and waited. At the end of the day I called Adobe Custopmer support and asked why I have not had any email showing links to download sites, and serial numbers. I was told it can take 24 hrs to process the order.
Well here we are over 24 hrs later and I have still not had any information from Adobe. I tried calling the customer support and it is only open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. The customer support website is down. The Adobe Volume Licensing site is down - and was all day yesterday as well.
In the meantime I have no way of opening the files. My deadline is Wednesday and we had planned to work on the job today and tomorrow (which is why I am sitting in my office now). It appears I cannot access customer support before Monday morning, and the customer support website is down until tomorrow evening UK time - at least. This means working all night on Monday and probably Tuesday - assuming we get access to the download information early Monday.
Adobe is one of the biggest software vendors in the world. When I buy software - online and for download, with a credit card - I expect to be able to access the software immediately. There is no excuse for this delay. None. A business the size of Adobe should not have customer services down for 2 days. Support should run 24/7, 365 days a year. My enquiry yesterday was routed to an offshore call centre, so having a 9 to 5 cut off is simply ridiculous.
The simple fact is that even the smallest software vendors we buy from deliver the goods within minutes. As you can tell I am mightily "annoyed" by this. At this point in time I am wishing these files were in Quark Xpress format (we have both). Quark used to have terrible support but they are now very good - and available.
As a customer of Adobe for over 15 years I am disappointed. Today, in my email inbox I have emails from Adobe about new online cloud services. Well, why would I want to invest any more in Adobe software if I cannot even access the ones I have bought - quickly?
If companies like Adobe want to know why piracy is rife - look at your own delivery systems. The only option I have now to do this job is to either download a pirated version (which I will not) or to download and run the trial for Indesign. How stupid is that?
Apologies for the rant.

Hi Kevin, not sure why it's taken longer than usual, but you can just download the free trial in the meantime. It will work 100% for 30 days, and you can convert it over to the full version once you receive your permanent serial number without reinstalling. This is fine even with a business license.
There's really no reason not to proceed in this fashion, especially with an imminent deadline. Adobe recommends this in cases where there is any sort of delay (for example, student validation) or immediate need. And absolutely you should avoid downloading the software from anywhere else, which is not only illegal but also hazardous to the health of your computer (malware).
Hope this helps!
Acrobat has never had a Trial for Mac. Probably never will.

• Voice memos emailed from iphone not delivered

i have used the email option to email voice memos from that app on my iPhone - i have used 2 good email addresses mulitple times and not one has been delivered to the email on my iMac (not in spam either) - is there something that has to be turned on in the app to make emailing work?

You just press on the attachment and a full screen player pops up.
Personally I only have my mailbox set to show 50 emails (Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Mail Show > 50 Recent Messages) now depending on how many you receive on that account your email with the voice mail attached could be pushed into the ether pretty quickly and you'd no longer have access to it in your mailbox. If your account supports it you might like to create a separate box to save the memos in - where they will persist.

• How do I change the text on a label for a SAP delivered WD view

Hi,
I need to change the text that is being displayed for a label in a SAP delivered WD ABAP View. When I look at the properties for this label, the Text property is currently empty, so I assume that the text that is being displayed in the view is coming from the dictionary. I was hoping to change the text of the label via the Enhancement Framework. I created an OTR entry, then went into SE80 for the WD Component, I navigated to the view in question, I pressed the Enhance button and entered $OTR:<package>/<alias name> in the text property for the label. Finally I saved and activated and was prompted to create an Enhancement Implementation, which I did and I selected it. Everything seems to be fine (no errors or warnings). I then ran the WD application. My change was not there. I then went back into SE80 for the WD Component that I created the enhancement. I navigated to the View and looked in the text property of the label and saw that my change was not there. I repeated this process several times and each time when I added the OTR entry to the text property of the label, it saves and activates without issue (in enhancement mode), but when I run the WD App the change does not show up and when I go back to the WD View, my change to the text property is gone. I know that if I really wanted to I could register the object and add the OTR entry to the text attribute of the label, but I am trying to perform this change using a modification free enhancement. Can this be done via an Enhancement, or do I have to register the object and make my change using a modification?

Hi Gregg,
excellent question. I had the same problem as well before.
What I have learned is that you cannot change a UI Element via Enhancements.
You can add new UI Elements (e.g. new label) or remove existing elements, but you cannot change them (except the layout properties (e.g. colspan) maybe).
The only possibilities I see is
1. Remove the existing label, and add a new label with your desired text
2. Do it as a modification
3. Do it as a configuration (This means you go to the webdynpro application in SE80, right click and select "Create/Change Configuration)
4. Do it as customizing (This means you add the URL parameter sap-config-mode=X to the URL, navigate to the label, right click on it, and select "Change Settings for Current Configuration").
The disadvatages of 3) and 4) are
- texts in configurations and customizing are not translatable (as far as I know)
- if you have multiple configurations, you have to change the label multiple times
Hope this helps a bit,
Daniel

• Mail delivered to wrong recipient

The backend is GW 8.0.2, clients are GW7.0.4, although I don't think the problem is client related. We recently made two changes:
1. Changed the preferred SMTP domain name from xyz.com to abc.com (examples, obviously)
2. Changed the preferred address format from User ID@Internet domain name to First Name.Last Name@Internet domain name
The second change introduced two issues that had to be manually addressed - removal of spaces and ambiguity due to users with the same first and last name. I addressed both of these by going to GroupWise|Internet Addressing, clicking Override next to Preferred Address Format and manually entering a Preferred EMail ID so Johann von Scott became [email protected] instead of Johann.von [email protected], and adding a middle initial for duplicates so that the second John Smith became [email protected].
We've got two users who are now receiving mail from Internet senders that is intended for a different user. It's not 100%, either - sometimes the mail goes to the correct mailbox, sometimes not. And it's not that they're swapped - user 1 may get some mail intended for user 2, but user 2 doesn't get any mail intended for user 1. The user's names are not similar (one is "Mary Jones" while the other is "John Smith", for example). They are in the same post office, and both users needed to have their Preferred Mail ID entered manually. They have unique FIDs.
Everything looks right with the mail - it just gets delivered to the wrong mailbox. The users do not have proxy rights to each other's mailboxes. There are no rules that would forward messages to the user getting them by mistake, and the message never arrives in the correct recipient's mailbox. The inbound GWIA log shows it is addressed to the correct user, and once it's in the system, I don't know how to do trace it any further. Is there a message tracing tool I can use?
My suggestion - for testing purposes only - is to move one of the users to a different post office, in a different domain, but that shouldn't be necessary.
I cannot find any references to this happening before. Anyone else experiencing this?

I know this is a long-dormant thread, but the problem reared its ugly head again, this time in a different domain. The symptoms are exactly the same - mail delivered to the wrong account (in this case, mail intended for a resource is delivered to a user), both have their preferred e-mail address overriden (one has a space in their last name, the other doesn't want to be [email protected] so is manually set to userID@domain name as their preferred format). Various repairs did not make a difference. The workaround before was to move one of the accounts to a different domain (we have one post office per domain), and we are going to do the same this time.
