To reduce quantity to be confirmed by posting scrap in process order

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to use MQC such that the planned quantity in each phase keeps reducing by the quantity of scrap posted in COR6N in the earlier phase. That means if planned quantity in phase 20 is 100 and i post a scap of 10 then in next phase (say 40) system should offer a quantity of 90 in the "yield" field of COR6N screen.
Regards
Sm.

Hi Rupesh,
Can you please assist for below issue
The planned quantity in each phase should  reduce by the quantity of scrap posted in COR6N in the earlier phase. That means if planned quantity in phase 20 is 100 and i post a scrap of 10 then in next phase (say 40) system should offer a quantity of 90 in the "yield" field of COR6N screen.
eg:- Process order 100 qty
Phase 20 Confirmation
          Yield 90 & Scrap 10
Phase 40 Confirmation
Yield should be populated as 90 . (But here system is suggesting Yield as 100 )
Can you gurus throw light here , where am i going wrong ?? , Why instead of 90 qty yield in 2nd Phase /operation to be populated it is appearing as 100 qty ?
& how to use User Exit also if required for Use Exist XCOM0001 EXIT_SAPLCOML_001

Our clients need is that without standard release confirmation should not allow in process order.
We are using CORK,cor6 and MB31 My need is to apply user exit in all cases.
I got input from sdn User exit:-PPCO0006 Function module Exit_SAPLCOZF_003
    INCLUDE ZXCO1U06
I need to activate this only during confirmation.ie confirmation to be avoided if cost is not released.

    Hi,
You are right. For preventing confirmation in case std cost estimate release is not available you need to do enhancement. You can check for following exit along with exit which you mentioned in your post :
    Enhancement     CONFPI05
EXIT_SAPLCORF_405 - Process Ord. Conf.: Cust.-Specific Enhancements when Saving
    INCLUDE ZXCOFU10
Check either of the enhancements which may fulfill your business requirement.

  • Confirmation number sequence in the process order

    Hi,
When we create a process order , system assigns the confirmation no for each of the operation & these confirmation numbers are in sequence.
In our case we have activity numbers in the recipe as 0010, 0020, 0030, 0040, 0050, 0060...... Subsequently we have inserted operations..now the sequence has become 0010, 0020, 0030, 0040, 0041, 0042, 0050, 0060...... Now when we create the process order, the confirmation numbers for operations 0041, 0042 comes after 0060. We have a development which has a pre-requisite that the sequence of confirmation no's should be as per sequence of operations.
Any idea how to achieve the correct sequence of confirmation no's?
    regards,
    Mohit

    Dear Mohit,
I have find the route cause BUT I Don't know how to fix it
Based on Operation ID, system is creating a confirmation No
Since you have created a operation 41 and 42,  System gives the operation ID next to 60
Thats the reason system is giving the confirmation No after 60
I don't know how To add operation ID in routing

  • Confirmation of activity type in Process order -Impact in FI.

    Dear All,
On doing a confirmation of a activity type for a process/ Production order - values get posted to secondary cost element which has been assigned to a acitivity type.  This means only a impact in controlling but not in FI
How woould the booking happens in FI ?is it not required to book in FI, if yes, why.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks.

    Hi Daya
    1. You can calculate activity price for plan in KSPI and for actual KSII for respective CCtr and activity type...but some times people manually update price at KP26 directly which in my opinion is not right way because price is either more or less than the real calculation in KSPI and KSII...
    2. However in your case price is directly updated in KP26 against activity type..when confirmation is done in order this rate * activity qty is your value posted in order level and at the same time respective CCtr is also credited by this amount which you can see in CCtr report
       Example:  CCtr  XXXX01
                       Activity type 999999
Sec cost Element for activity type 999999 (43 cat)
Suppose you have booked FI entries for some expenses like Salary in F-02/FB50...against CCtr XXXX01   So your CCtr XXXX01 is debited by Salary amount and this amount will be absorbed in product through activity for which you need  activity price and confirmation.
FI entry is booked your expense in GL a/c Salary and same time debited your CCtr through CE salary....Now when you charging this expense in product through prod order you are doing it through confirmation of activity qty which in turn calculating value by taking price from KP26 and qty from confirmation.

  • Set loss quantity to a fixed percentage in Process Order Confirmation - C0R6N

    Hi Experts,
How it is fixed the loss qty percentage at the time of process order confirmation.
I want to set the loss quantity to a certain percentage when compared to the Total Process order quantity.
    For Example:
If the Total processed quantity = 100
                            Yield Quantity = 20.
                             Loss              = 80.
This kind of scenario should not happen, since Loss quantity is very much higher that the yield quantity.  I want to set the loss quantity  to a particular percentage ( say 20-30 %) of the total processed quantity so that the yield quantity will be higher than the loss quantity by a substantial amount. Are there any possibilities of doing this through configuration. If not what are the other options?
NB: Scrap quantity is not maintained at the time of  process order confirmation.
    Regards,
    Umapathy.

    Hi Umapathy,
Yield and Scrap are user entry fields where you can have restriction on entered qty by changing  under delivery and over delivery to error through OPK4 config as shown below. Agree that any qty can be entered in any field (Yield or Scrap)
    OR
You can define the operation scrap. Read the below doc for more details.
    http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-52834
    OR
Another option is to use exit and write your logic based on input yield and loss.

  • Process Order accepts Confirmation & GR from BAPI even after Confirmed

No matter what i try the formatting and CRLF go for a toss in this text.
    Hi PPPI Gurus,
I am a beginner in this area and request your help.
We are implementing a project where the process order Confirmation in SAP ECC 5.0 in SAP PPPI module is done using xMII which call the BAPI_PROCORD_CREATE_TT     RFC.
The customer wants to (certain times) do a final confirmation without actually completing the order e.g if the Order Qty is 100 then, they want to just manufacture 25 and then do a final confirmation, after which SAP GUI screen does not allow any Process order Confirmations against that process order.
We are using the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TTRFC to do multiple PO Confirmations and GR for particular Process order. Below is a scenario
    Case 1:
    1. Order Qty =100  ( Unlimited Delivery is not checked and tolerance is Zero).
Which means only 100 is accepted.
    2. 100 Quantities are produced and confirmed using the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT (with Final confirmation value as 1 , which mean auto confirmation)
    3. Next when the BAPI confirms & GR's against the same order, the Complete qty is not visible in the COR3 status. And is visible only in the COGI transaction.
That is expected behavior. and i am ok with that.
Case 2: (The one with the problem)
    1.  Order Qty =100  ( Unlimited Delivery is not checked and tolerance is Zero).
Which means only the 100 is accepted.
    2.  25 Quantities are produced and confirmed using BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT (with Final Confirmation value as X , which mean Final confirmation)
    3. The Confirmation and GR go through and the status of the process order now changed is CNF and the Deliverd qty is 25.
At this point , if you logon to SAP GUI and try to make a process order confirmation you get an error messages which says the Process Order is already confirmed and no more confirmations or GR can be done against this Process order.
    4. But when you Again Run the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT, it goes ahead and confirms and makes the GR for that Process order.
The Expected Behavior should have been that this quantity is now in the COGI transaction.
    5. The Process order  allows any number of Further confirmations till the Ordered Qty and Delivered quantity are  same .
so dear gurus I know i have written a very long doubt but would be very happy to get a response from you. I would ideally not like to enhance or change the BAPI and want to understand if I have missed some setting or parameter that I have to pass in the BAPI for the final confirmation so that once the Status of the Process order is CNF , no more Confirmations are allowed even from the BAPI.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
The standard SAP will allow the GR even after the Final Confirmation. The Final Confirmation is acting as a agent to change the status of the process order to CNF. thats all.
If you want to restrict the GR then you have to do Enhancement with  use the USer Exits. Pleas try to use the User Exits PPC00009 or MBCF0001,MBCF0005

    Suraj

    Hi Suraj,
I am not positive, but I suspectt the problem lies in the BAPI.  It might be how you have the data set in MII, but it sounded like you are doing it correctly.
However there are a number of things you can do to troubleshoot your situation.
First create a few process orders to test with.
Record the confirmation numbers and counters for each of the following:
    1) Do a final confirmation (for quantity of 25 instead of the 100) in CORK (or whichever transaction you are using).
    2) Do a final confirmation (for quantitiy of 25 instead of the 100) in SE37 or BAPI in ERP using the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT.
    3) Do a final confirmation (for quantitiy of 25 instead of the 100) from MII using your current transaction.
Review the confirmations in ERP to see if there are any differences.
Review the confirmaitons in MII to see if there are any non visible differences (use a Tracer to retrieve the response segment from an execution of BAPI_PROCORDCONF_GETDETAIL using the recorded confirmation numbers and counters)
Case 1) If there are differences in the results, that should tell you how to modify your transaction to include or change the appropriate values in your inputs.
Case 2) If there are no differences, then it is most likely that there is something not working properly in the BAPI you are using.  It may not completely replicate the functionality in CORK (or whichever transaction you are using in ERP).  Then open a ticket, because the BAPI is not working as it should.
    Good luck,
    Mike

  • Sample Preshippment information in PI Sheet or Process order confirmation

    Dear Gurus,
We are using the strategy 40. We need some information on sample sending procedure like preshipment or coshipment and quantity of delivery to the process order PI sheet to identify the production team to keep the sample ready before confirmation or receipt of the process orders.
It is sepcific to some customer or material.
Could you please help me how to configure / flow information from sales order or Material to PI sheet or process order confirmation.
    THanks in Advance
    Srini

    Hi,
Process Massage will generate only after Completing the PI sheet. So after maintaining the PI sheet you have to press Complete button then only system will generate Process Massage regarding completion of PI sheet.
But if you leave the PI sheet only with Save then it means still there are some entries are left or may be change. So in this case system will not generate process massage.
Now first complete the PI sheet then check in CO54 with correct date , time and plant selection.Send it from here and then check in process order.

  • Quantity Change At process order?

    Dear Guruji
I am Realse Process order as per Std BOM. But at conformation Tranziction I am Changed Planed Quantity. How Can I tressiblae That only that Process order Which is change in planed quantity at Goods Issue?

    Dear,
There is no tracking mechanism in SAP. If you dont want users to change the component during confirmation, then you create a transaction variant for CO11N transaction, and define in such a way that Component quantity field is greyed out and also delete button is also removed.
If you search this Forum you will find suitable threads explaining the process of creating transaction variants.

  • Automatic confirmation in process order

    Hello everybody.
I need made automatic confirmation to some phases in process order, I hade read that this is possible using process messages.
Process management supports the direct confirmation from the PI sheet and process control system to the process order by sending process messages to predefined message destinations.
Someone know what are the steps I need to follow to customize process message?
What are the transactions that I need to use?
In some documentation say that for access process management, I need proceed as follows:
From the main R/3 menu, select the menu options Logistics u2192 Production - process u2192 Process management.
The system branches to the initial process management menu. From here, you can access all the application functions of process management.
But when I access that path there is not any transaction for use process management.
Something is missing for install or what is the transaction that I need use?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can do that in T Code CORW.
For the required production scheduler select the batch creation for process order.
Also in the Assignment tab of the process order, there is a field for batch, next to it there is a Create button. Click that, you will get the batch number in that field.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Rohit.
Added: I apologise, its not the Assignment tab in process order. It is Goods Receipt tab.

But when we check in COR3 , Activity Consumption (standard) - which we maintain in PI01 not calculated as actual Qty and Cost.....(Actual qty comes zero)
Can you give your input on this...

    Hi Expert,
Yes, we can get Target and Planned Qty and Cost in COR3...but we can not get Actual Qty and Actual Cost...
    Second,
Our Price Indicator in Activity type is 1 and Actual Price Indicator is 5.
Is this settings needs to be change ?

  • How To Reverse Excess Confirmed Quantity in Process Order?

    Hi Experts,
    Good day!
I have a Process Order with Total Quantity of 68,180 L which currently have  a status of TECO CNF  DLV  PRC  BASC BCRQ GMPS MACM*. I made my first partial confirmation with a quantity of 1,000 L for my Finished Good u2013 this is a confirmation with automatic goods receipt. Then I mistakenly made my Final Confirmation for this order with a quantity of 71,125 L for my Finished Good. I only noticed that my last confirmation was incorrect after the Finished Good in Stock has been depleted already. The 101 movement for the Finished Good that was posted during my final confirmation was not reversed anymore when I canceled my confirmation in CORS. I tried to reverse using a 102 movement type for this order in MB31 however it didnu2019t allow me to proceed and gave me an error said u201Cdeficit of .....in Unrestricted useu201D.
Currently my Process Order has a total Delivered Quantity of 72,125 L which is much greater than the required total order quantity of 68,180 L.
Anybody knows how to reverse this excess confirmed quantity? Your response is much appreciated.
    Thanks. Have a wondeful day!
    Rockz

    Hi Rockz,
You mean you made Good Receipt (confirmation) excess 3,945L .
Right now, you want to cancel only 3,945L.
As you said, FG already depleted.
If have no quantity in unrestricted Use, how can we make good movement(102) (because error:u201Cdeficit of .....in Unrestricted useu201D occur when you do TCode MB31 for 102)
If you want to cancel 3,945L, first, you must reverse that Batch of FG 3,945L to Unrestricted use (MMBE to check stock), then you use the TCode MB31 with movement 102 for reverse FG excess, if this finish, quantity in delivery of Process Order will be subtract 3,945L.
(reverse that Batch of FG 3,945L to Unrestricted use ,mean is  the Batch of FG which you depleted for somethings like fill to bottle....)
    Regard,
    DiepNguyen.

  • Delivery quantity greater than confirmed quantity in sales order

    Hi experts,
Quantity in delivery order can be changed to more than the confirmed quantity in sales order when there is sufficient stock. (Setting "Check overdelivery" in 0VLP already maintained "B-Situation rejected with an error message").
Anyway in system to check only "confirmed quantity" can be delivered?.
    Regards,
    Liang

    Thanks Ankur for your reply.
The "Overdeliv. tolerance" in customer master allow customer to deliver more than the quantity in sales order.
But my situation here is to control the deliver quantity base on confirmed quantity in sales order.
For example, i have quantity 10 for an item in sales order, and i only confirm 5 to deliver. Let's say my stock has more than 15 quantity, during DO creation, system will proposed 5 but i can manually change quantity to 10.
I would like to control only confirmed sales order can be delivered. Is this only can control using user exits?
    Best Regards,
    Liang
