Toller service

This is a user-to-user forum. You are only moaning to other users like yourself.
Accidental damage is not covered by the warranty. No phone manufacturer covers damage caused by the user under the standard warranty, otherwise everybody would be expecting a new phone for every "accidental" drop or scratch.
If you have phone insurance which covers you for accidental damage, claim on that. That's what insurance is for.
It's not Apple's fault you dropped your phone. Why should they pay to fix it?

  • Service Internal Subcontracting (Toll Processing)

    Dear SAP Expert,
We have requirement that our sister company is doing subcontracting to us (toll manufacturing).
Basically our sister company is supplying us the main raw material and then
we add our company own material plus some overhead.
The problem is we need our company to recognize the COGS during we produce
    in the same period.
Example: in April we produce 1000 CTN, we dispatch the goods to customer (sister company) 800,
we want to recognize the COGS on April based on 1000 CTN (not based on 800). The remaining
200 we just need to record quantity.
    My question is:
    - What is SAP best practice of internal subcont (toll manufacturing)?
    - Any idea how to recognize COGS in produced quantity?
something cross in our mind is we sell all  right after we produced and receive remaining qty in virtual Plant non valuated.
That means once 1000 CTN  is produced we sell it immediately (to recognize 1000 CTN as COGS),
then remaining stock of 200 CTN (physical dispatched 800 CTN) we need to GR again in different plant (which is non valuated)
    or
Is there any idea to simplify this process?
    Moreover we implement material ledger
    Thanks in advance,

  • Verizon iPhone 5s - in UK - enabled Global voice and data plan (pay as you go) - no service

Situation is as stated in the title.  I have taken my iPhone 5S from the US to the UK, and before leaving I added the free pay as you go global feature to my plan.  However, now that I am here, the phone says "No Service" and I can do nothing with it related to voice or data unless I am on WiFi.  Live Chat is not working.  I tried dialing the 800 number from my international flip phone and it cannot recognize my push button menu selection tones and so hangs up on me (no provision for accessing a customer service rep or vioce recognition).
Any thoughts on how I can get my phone up and running while I am here?

Hi there, bob_e_iphone5s! I'm terribly sorry to see you're having trouble with service while travelling abroad. It's true that you'll have difficulty reaching our Customer Care team with the 800 number. But you can use this link http://vz.to/1k7RFqd to reach our Global Services team. There's even a number you can use to call from international locations, toll free!

  • Another Customer Service Compla

Hi, and thank you for reading this message.
I've experienced bad customer service from Creative and feel it necessary to add to the other warnings posed in this forum. The basic theme is the same: Creative seems to take deliberate steps to make receiving support (especially warranty service) very difficult.
Specific ways I have experienced this apparent discouragement from utilizing support are:
-- Creative uses fees to discourage legitimate telephone support. I am still in my warranty period with my Zen Micro, but I had to pay $5USD to use the telephone to get an RMA for repair. By the way, it was a toll call: the "toll-free" line is not for customer service.
-- Once I had navigated the telephone system and waited a long time for the "next available representati've," he was surly and acti'vely sought to get me to use email support instead. Even after explaining that it was my preference as a customer to use phone support and that I was willing to pay a fee that I disagreed with to do so, he persisted.
-- Creative does not provide postage for shipping a defecti've item in for service. Admittedly, I've only required warranty service from a handful of companies, but this is the first time I've had to pay to have a manufacturer correct its mistakes.
-- Creative is now trying to get me to pay $25USD to have the diagnose the problem with my Zen Micro. Remember, this is after having paid $5USD to have a reluctant technician step through a diagnostic procedure with me over the phone.
If you are considering making a Creative Labs purchase, please consider whether you can tolerate similar headaches with warranty service. My personal advice is to choose another vendor.

  • Frustrated with Apple Service and Apple Store... Lemon Law?

    Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has had an experience like this before, and if so, how they resolved it? Also, does anyone have any sort of customer service phone number (not tech support), where I could reach a supervisor, or someone who deals with issues like this on a regular basis?
Let me start from the beginning, and give a quick run-down of my problems.
*First let me say that the first Apple Store I went to is almost two hours away from where I live, and the second store is just about two hours.*
I bought a 17" Macbook Pro (Unibody, 2.8ghz, 4GB, 500GB, antiglare display, etc.), in September of 2009. I had problems from the beginning, originally some problems with both the wireless card, and a general slowness of the machine, combined with a cosmetic defect in the screen. I made an appointment at the Apple Store. At the first appointment, they said they had to order a new display assembly to fix the cosmetic defect. So I drove home, got a call a few days later that the part was in. I called a few days later to say I wouldn't be down for another few weeks, and could they please hold the part for me. I was assured that they would. I drove down about a week and a half later, and was told the part was sent back; apparently the message the gentleman I spoke with on the phone had not gotten passed along adequately. I was a little miffed, but figured accidents do happen, so I'd give the benefit of the doubt.
When I returned to get the display put on, I reiterated the wireless issues I was having (the wireless signal strength was spotty, while my 3 yr old Macbook had perfect strength sitting in the same location [yes, I both alternated which one was on, to make sure there was no interference, as well as had them both on at once]). I was told that because they could not reproduce it there, they couldn't really do much. I also reminded them that the machine was still slow, and they recommended an OS re-install. They then took the machine in back and replaced the display assembly. When they brought it out a while later, the new display had the same problem. I mentioned this, and she said that all the ones that were in back seemed to have the same problem, so there's not much they could do at the store.
I went down again a few months later to let them know that the OS re-install hadn't helped, and that I really couldn't keep driving two hours each way to not get anything fixed. They apologized profusely, and said they could mail the machine to their depot center, where it would be repaired and mailed back to the store, upon which they'd mail it to me. They also ran some tests at this appointment, and discovered that the processor heatsink may be failing. They made a note, and sent it out. I got a call a week later from the technician at the depot location, quizzing me on the exact problems I was having, and spoke to him for almost twenty minutes while waiting for a doctors appointment. (We'd played phone tag for a few rounds before we finally spoke to each other). I described everything as best I could without having the machine in front of me, but I felt that I was a little ridiculed by the technician. The attitude I sensed was "our tests didn't find any hardware failures, so you must be wrong, or lying." He didn't use those words of course, but he didn't exactly hide it too well either. As I was called into my doctors appointment, (so had to hang up) I asked him over the phone to please do as many tests as possible, and use the machine if necessary to reproduce the effects. He said he'd try, and hung up. I received the machine a week later or so, with a sheet listing what had been done. The list reads:
    Labor charge
    Flat rate repair charge
Obviously, I wasn't actually charged for either of them, but absent a more detailed list of what they'd done, the only difference I could detect was that they finally replaced the defective display with a non-defective part.
After another month or so, I returned to the store to let them know I was still having problems, and to get advice. They told me that they'd have to reproduce the issue there in order to do anything. They proceeded to reproduce the issue, and told me that a CLEAN install should do the trick. I did a clean install, and copied things back on very slowly, a few things at a time. The problem persisted even before I'd put much back on.
About a month later, I made an appointment with the other Apple Store (I have two, both about two hours away), and took it down. They reproduced the issue, and said it could be due to a faulty hard drive. They took it in back and replaced the hard drive. I was a little unhappy how many appointments it had taken, but was hopeful that it had finally been fixed.
I got a survey in my email about my satisfaction with my last appointment, so I filled it out honestly: that I had been extremely frustrated and disappointed, but I hoped that the fix that was finally provided would be successful. I was contacted the next day by the Head Genius at the most recent Apple Store I'd visited. She was very nice, and spent some time quizzing me on approximate times of hangups and delays. I told her that it did seem like the problems were still there, but I wanted some more time to verify the specifics, and that they had in fact persisted through the HDD replacement, and that I'd call her back if they persisted.
After very carefully copying things back on (yet again), I realized that it still wasn't fixed. The slow opening of programs had been sped up considerably, but the actual running of the programs was slower than ever, rendering Aperture 3 nearly unusable. Almost every adjustment (and all brush adjustments) will result in a complete system hangup. The few times it occurred to me to open activity monitor BEFORE opening Aperture, I was able to nab a few screen shots using a mouse shortcut I programmed. They show sometimes Aperture uses up to 170% of the processor (!?!), and almost always over 100 when this happens. Other occasions, it's Finder that's eating it up. I ended up with 14 screenshots of about 7 or 8 separate incidents. (Each time, I had to force quit the program, and restart the computer. At NO point was any other program running besides Finder and Aperture 3).
I called her back about three weeks after the last call, and explained that the problems were still happening. She was very nice again, and quizzed me about the problems, and durations of delays and hangups. She said that she'd order a few parts that it could be, and if I brought it down, they'd keep it there until they fixed it. I explained that after six trips of two hours and 90 miles, I'd put a lot of time, energy, lost work, and gas money and tolls into this computer, only to have it still not be fixed. I told her I wasn't sure that I would be able to come down again, and asked if there was any other way we could arrange this, or any other available options. She was very nice, but asserted that this was the only option.
Today, I went down again, and explained to them that I really can't come down again. After $150+ in gas and tolls, plus 28 hours of driving, plus lost wages, I just couldn't do that any more. They were very friendly, and kept telling me they really wanted to help me, but theres not much they could do as far as me not having to come down and pick it up again. A few minutes later, we were discussing the specific issues, and it was actually working for once, and they said that they couldn't replace it without verifying the issue, because Apple would throw a fit. (Understandably). This combined with overheard conversation, and other snippets of things said directly to me, led me to believe that if the issue could be reproduced, the computer would be replaced, and I wouldn't have to drive down again.
A few minutes later, after showing them the screenshots taken previously, we reproduced the issue. Aperture caused a system hang bad enough to prevent showing the dock, quitting, or force quitting (including the keyboard shortcut). I then told them that I had to leave in ten minutes (My sister had a birthday party starting at noon, and they needed adult supervision by that time). They talked for a few minutes and after continually assuring me there was no way around me driving down again to pick it up, told me that they would mail me a box, I could mail it back to the store, and then once it was fixed, we could discuss how to get it back to me. Being in a huge hurry, I grudgingly accepted this, and left.
I guess I'm a little confused that they didn't replace it after reproducing the issue, which they seemed like they were willing to do until I reproduced it.
On a whole, I've been extremely disappointed in Apple Service on all ends, both depot and store, and I'd like to know if there's a number I can reach to get some sort of escalation to at least talk to someone, and maybe get some sort of explanation of how it's okay to have someone make seven (almost eight) four hour trips for one single computer problem with a computer that is under warranty.
At this point, I'm so frustrated, if I could get my money back, and never buy an Apple computer again, I would actually think seriously about it. I was a recent convert (bought a macbook for college in 2007), and thought I would never even think twice about going back, but after this... I'm really not so sure. The only thing that would really prevent me from doing so is probably the $1000's in software I'd have to re-buy for windows, especially since you can't get student discounts twice on one title from most companies.
I think it's pretty unreasonable to expect someone to spend that much money on a computer that is under warranty, even if it's just on gas and tolls. I frankly can't see the logic in that.
Do I have any recourse? Even though it's only been technically "repaired" twice for the same problem (this will be the third) It's been looked at and analyzed seven times. I don't know much about lemon laws or consumer protection/warranty laws, but it seems to me that this should qualify.
If anyone has a phone number or email address of someone a little higher up on the food chain than a head genius at a NH Apple Store, I'd love to get this taken care of. Even a non-tech support customer service number would be helpful.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long novel up there.

I would suggest contacting AppleCare and briefly explain your frustration and ask to speak to a senior manager. Be articulate, have all of your facts organized including receipts, case numbers, etc. so when you talk to someone in charge you have your facts in a row. You should be also patient and persistent until you get a solution to your problem.
We are users just like yourself and cannot do anything other than provide some advice.
Had I been you with all the issues you seem to have been experiencing I would have asked to speak to a store manager. However hindsight is 20/20 so that doesn't do any good. If you do decide to go back to one of the stores make an appointment and when you arrive let them know you want to speak to the store manager. Again be articulate, organized and have all your facts ready including ALL documentation.
    Good luck,
    Roger

  • Verizon Customer Service?

    Verizon Customer Service?
A Verizon Supervisor just told me on 1/08/2011 and I quote: “ You can't expect first class service if your only paying for coach.” and So
I'm writing this to express my dissatisfaction with Verizon home phone and internet service, as my only recourse since I live in an area where they are the only option for this type service. My hopes are that if enough people know the kind of service that is being provided or not provided as the case my be, and of the attitude of the supervisor that I had the misfortune of contacting, That Maybe, just maybe there will be some sort of change and We can get some kind of service? Even in coach.
First I like to let everyone know that this is not a one-time problem our service has been out 5 times in the matter of a year and a half and each time we have call for service it has been handled pretty much the same way. We pay for Life line phone service and DSL high speed internet when it is working I have no complaints the problem is when you need a trouble call, our Life line phone service was out for 10 days before a local repair tech was even contacted, he was just here and fixed the problem at the box down the street in less than 10 min he also let us know that he had been available thee entire week and was not busy he just wasn't informed that there was a problem. We called the problem with the phone in on New Years day and didn't expect anyone out then, but was told that some would be out on the 4th between 8am and 11am, well that did not happen and we waited all day before calling again. That night I call the toll free number again and was inform that they had no record of a trouble call even being placed, but that they would set it up now and that a repair person would be out on the 7th again between 8am and 11am at 1:30pm I called again, this time I was told rudely that the problem did not need a technician and would be repaired by 7pm that night. At 6:55pm I called with a friends cell phone and talked with a supervisor who apologized and assured me that someone would be at our house in the morning, guess when? Yep between 8am and 11am she also told me that she personally would follow up on the problem. Next day 8 to 11 came and went and no phone service at 1pm I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor I was placed on hold for close to an hour and when the supervisor did pickup I explained the problem and also inform him that along with being a life line it is also the contact number for my home business and he told me that it didn't mean anything and that if I had a better phone plan my service would have been repaired by now, and “ You can't expect first class service if your only paying for coach.” but would try to get someone out before 7pm or the next morning (Sunday) did not believe it but after that I did not call anymore the service was fixed at 2pm on Monday the 10th. I guess I should just be happy it was fixed, but I wanted people to know how Verizon Customer Service treats it's customers.
    Thank you,
    D mad in Lottsville, Pa.

Dear ANYBODY at VERIZON who ACTUALLY Cares!
I also agree that the customer service or I should extreme lack there of is your main problem. I just got off the phone with a Melissa {edited for privacy}who is a Sales Associate in Virginia. Her title is consultant. I have had so many problems with Verizon since I moved into my new home last July that I can't even count anymore the amount of times I have had to call and argue with them. They are never willing to just fix anything or help the consumer. It's always our fault or we need to call this department that's not there problem, it's a different department etc. I am so sick of this. I had my service go out probably close to a year ago and they had to come out and replace the line. I was told a temporary line was being installed and a week later they would be back to bury the line. Well they NEVER came back. I have called several times and nothing gets done. Plus I have had SOOOO many problems with my bill its like a child is handling it.  When I  moved I was suppose to have service transferred. It wasn't. The guy who had no clue what he was doing that worked for Verizon didn't transfer me he set up and brand new account all together. I even questioned him a few times about why he needed my social security number etc and told him I wasn't getting a new account that I was just transferring service. He said that he understands but that this is part of that transfer. I didn't understand that but then I don't work at Verizon(probably have more brain cells than are required for them) so I let it go. I later find out that I have two accounts open. So I owe this outrageous amount of money. I call back and get the run around. Eventually after several hours on the phone and several weeks of back and forth and research and after I called them again! I get it figured out, OR SO I THOUGHT!  So my new bill arrives and there is a huge like $350 early termination fee. Are you kidding me??? Hello I just went over this a billion times I didn't cancel your stupid service I transferred it and because the wonderful associate working for them couldn't successfully do his job, well I was suffering for it. So then I had to call to get that HUGE fee removed that I should have never been charged. WEll this took SEVERAL MONTHS to get worked out. Finally after spending countless hours on the phone and hold and being transferred and going back and forth a Supervisor agrees to take care of this and apologizes etc. Well my account apparently was placed on hold. So a few months goes by and I get no bill. I figure OK it's probably because I have a huge credit now so I don't have a bill. Well I called anyways. I was told my account is in a hold or suspended status in their system in review and that a c credit should be issued soon but it can take up to something crazy like 8-10 weeks to get resolved. I explain that I am worried because if there is a bill after all this time I don't want to one day get a huge bill in the mail. The said that I actually had a credit and that adjustments were being made to my account so there was no need to worry. Well about a month or 2 after that BAM a huge almost $500 bill shows up. SO have to call back fight with them some more and tell them what happened but at the end of the day I am still responsible for the bill as I have had the service the tell me so I still need to pay for it even though I tried dto do that ALL ALONG! So I have to come up with almost $500 plus the new months bill is getting ready to go out. Well I didn't have that kind of money right then. So I had to take my time and pay it over several months plus the new bills that were coming in on top of that each month as well. So NOTHING and I mean NOTHING but problems. Then my service gets shut off after I already called and talk to them and made and online payment. So of course it's after hours and I can't get a hold of anyone to actually talk to. Well I say screw and just make a payment to get it restored. WEll that also doesn't go smooth. Why would it right? So I spend about 2 hours trying to make a payment and restore service. I mean they shut my phone off so I can't call anyone except the number to restore service except that number does me no good because nobody is there because the office is closed. SO I try to pay online. Should be easy right? Nope go through a bunch of crap to do that and finally submit payment and get a message that my payment is unable to be applied to my account please call customer service to proceed. Well customer service is CLOSED! At this point I just can't even take it I am about to SCREAM! SOOO I finally just get back on the phone pay through the automated system where I have to receive an additional fee for paying but at this point I am so frustrated I don't care anymore(sad huh) THe next day I find out they processed my payment twice! Of course they did! Then getting the money returned and the extra fee I had to pay for paying it a second time when there system told me it wasn't paid but then they took my money anyway well that couldn't be refunded because that wasn't their fee. That's a 3rd party fee! OF COURSE IT IS!  So NOTHING but problems. SO I am trying to play catch up as usual. It's also Christmas time and I try to go on today to pay my bill. I notice my new bill just billed a week ago is almost $190. Are you kidding me? So I find a $30 fee. I call and the fee is for them shutting my service off. $30 for you to click a button and turn in back on?? Talk about being robbed! So I talk to this Melissa {edited for privacy}and try to explain my frustration etc and ask to get the fee removed. Well she takes it upon her self to not remove it. It's her judgment call and because I have a balance at the time she won't do it. She can remove it but she WONT remove it because I have a balance! GIVE ME A BREAK! All that they have done to me and put me through and they can't remove it because I have a balance?  Yea I am so over Verizon and switching services ASAP NOW! THANK YOU MELISSA {edited for privacy}FOR SUCH WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY! WAY TO MAKE YOUR CONSUMERS HAPPY AND KEEP LOYAL CUSTOMERS COMING BACK! A+ on driving them away!
Simply put. Verizon is just out to get your money. THey don't care about thier customers and when they screw up we have to just suck it up and deal with it. We make a mistake and again we have to deal with it. I have never had my service turned off. The one time I do they can't remove the HUGE $30 restore fee! The service is restored electronically and you have to wait 4+ hours and they still charge you $30! Seriously give your customers some respect even a little would be nice! After all I been through I don't think them reversing that huge $30 fee would of killed them.

  • Bought Global Pkg - In Paris - can't access int'l service. How?

Before I left for Paris, I added on a Global Service Package. I'm in PAris and can't make int'l calls, accept them, or access voice mail/email. How do I activate the service? I've tried to access LIVE CHAT but evidently they dont chat with overseas travelers. Can someone walk me through the process of doing-whater to my iphone 5 to activate/get/receive/turn on the global service I bought? (It even had a start date). Thanks!

I would love to provide the toll free number that is available to you 24/7 as you are traveling abroad http://vz.to/1e394dc. I am so sorry for the inconvenience and want you to enjoy your trip.

  • Process for adding a boolean option to the web service API

    Hey guys,
    Here's a little background:
I'm currently working on adding an optional "strict" mode to some of the unmarshalling functions in SchemaMarshaller that will throw exceptions when receiving bad data for certain fields, and also improving the date handling while I'm at it (I want null instead of mangled dates when receiving bad data when strict mode is off).
This is for my benefit at the moment as I'm tired of spending time debugging Flex code when XFire and Oracle are spitting out rubbish (like empty xsd:DateTime nodes, DateTimes in xsd:Date nodes, etc) - but I'm sure other people would like to use it too while we don't have a response validator, so I'd like to do it in a way that I can submit as a feature request (with patch) on Jira.
My questions are about the procedure for stuff like this- where should this option be made public in the API, and who would I talk to about it? Or would it be best for it to always be strict? - That's how I'd like it :) Perhaps it should just log errors when it encounters bad data?
This is the first thing I'd like to "add" to the SDK rather than a simple bug-fix, so I just want to do things in a kosher manner. Sorry if I come across like a total noob :)
    Cheers,
    -Josh

  • Service Issue Of Xperia Z3 Compact

SONY MOBILE COMPLIANT - W115061501443 Hi, I purchased Sony Xperia Z3 Compact hardly 6 months back for 39000 INR. On 15 June 2015 my phone got dead suddenly. i have submitted my phone immediately to the service center on 15 june 2015. in 12 days my phone was not even picked by sony company from service center for repairing. every time i call or visit service center they said to me that your case is in pending status. they i send mail to     [email protected] on 18-june-2015  next day a person from sony company named Mr. Vijay Shukla Called Me And Said i will tell you and assist you completely on this matter kindly give me 1 day time to collect information about your device. now from next day to today i am calling that person and he is not even bothering to pick my call. i tried calling many times on toll free number of sony India 180030002800 they also tried contacting to service center and service head but till date i haven't got any clear response from company side. on 27-06-2015  i go to service center again coincidently Mr. Raman Senior Office of Sony india Is their .they also said to me that give me 2 more days i will give u response. even today(29-6-2015)  i didn't got any response from Mr. Raman. . what will i do Sony India . after pursuing a long while and communicate you over the phone and email at last you given me the above said handset stating that the problem of the handset is cure on 08/july/2015 after reciveing the handset i had faced the same problem in the handset that it is automaticly shut down today i have a word with Mr. Vijay Shukla on he told me to again drop the handset on service center. after this i personally met with Mr. Vijay Shukla on 10/07/2015 after discussing my problem they told me to go service center and asked them to talk with him. i go to service center after checking my device without opening they told me to replace simcard with a new one nano sim i even tried this i have purchased a new nano sim card and put it into the phone. then again after running 4-5 hr again it sis restating some time, shutdown automatically and even sometime not powering on. i tried calling again Mr.Vijay Shukla he said again go to service center and asked them to talk with him.  this is ridcullous that after almost a month you gave me the handset but their is no fruitfull result regarding the issue. When you buy a phone of 39000Rs , you atleast expect that you will be able to hear properly. Is Their Anyone Who Will listen my problem and solve my issue.

I'm sorry to hear that but this is a user based forum, you have to contact your local Xperia Care regarding this issue http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/contactUs/

  • Need to change my Country. Appalled with Adobe Customer Service

I am absolutely shocked at how far Adobe's customer service has fallen. In the past i could simply call up their toll free line and get an answer to my question or have my isse resolved. It seems those days are LONG gone.
On Black Friday I wanted to buy lightroom which was on sale. I live in Canada. I always have. For some unknown reason my country was set to the US. When i tried to buy Lightroom none of my payment methods (paypal, creditcard) could go through because my payment methods indicate I live in Canada.
I immediately tried to contact Adobe. First i must comment on their terrible phone system. I have to wade through menu after menu, none actually representing my need to change my Adobe information. Finanlly i got to an option where i could talk to a live person - but wait - there are callers ahead of me and i'll have to wait an estimated 2 hours (is that a joke?). Lucky for me they have a call back option. But the call back option DOES NOT WORK! After i enter my number the automated message says my number can not be regonized. I tried it every way possible, multiple times and it never went through.
Eventually I gave up. I chalked it up to Adobe being busy because of Black Friday and just created a new account to buy Lightroom.  That went through no problem (it seems Adobe is good at TAKING my money). I figured i'd try back next week and have my Country changed and consolidate both my accounts into one.
MORE THAN A MONTH HAS PASSED. I have tried several times over the weeks. THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A TIMELY MANNER!! The phone situation is the same as above. Often the 'Chat with a live rep' option is not even available. When it is I CONSTANTLY get this message in the chat window :
We are still assisting other customers, thank you for your patience. You can also try ourcommunity forums, where experts are online 24/7.
Even as i type this message i have been on hold on the phone for 30 mins, and still no response in my chat window. This is ridiculous.
WHY IS THERE NO OPTION TO EMAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE???!?!?!?
At this point I'd be happy with returning my Lightroom purchase and changing my country to Canada on my original Adobe ID. I have lost all faith in Adobe.

    Hi,
I am trying to get Adobe to rerelease the software and registration number for my CS4 suite but my email & ID has changed from [email protected] to [email protected] for some reason the ID link now says I am in the US not Australia. I get the same message:
To change your country, contact Customer Service.
But that has not been possible online.
Do you have an email contact for them please?
I only want the dreamweaver and adobe pdf creator & editing software but the links on US site don't work either.
I already paid for the whole suite a few years back so don't want to pay again after I had to replace a HDD in a windows 7 machine.
So do I send a letter via Australia Post to:
    Adobe Systems Pty. Ltd.
    Tower 2, Level 27
    201 Sussex Street
    Sydney, NSW 2000
    Australia
    Tel: +61 2 9778 4100
or how about technology that was 300+ years old and FAX'em
    Fax: +61 2 9778 4190
Surely email is not too much to ask???

  • Mapping ALE functionality to Enterprise Services

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I am in an assignment to leverage Enterprise Services in the project and as part of it i need to understand how we can use Enterprise Services for the following requirements which are well supported by ALE/Idoc functionality.
    1) Master Data Distribution - We have ALE Change Pointers mechanism to track the changes done to the master data (Customer/Material/Vendor) and we can process the changes and create the idocs for the same by EOD. Changes are tracked based on the field level and interface level(Message Type). How can we leverage this change pointer mechanism in Enterprise Services.
    2) Best practice to trigger the Outbound enterprise services from ECC system.
    3) There are various tools to monitor IDOCs in ECC, what all are the tolls/transactions for monitoring the Enterprise Service.
    4) What is your view on IDOC V/s Enterprise Service
    Regards,
    Pras

    Hi Prasanna,
These are two quite different technologies and framework here that your questions are about. One is SMD (Shared Master Data) tool which involves change pointers & IDocs and the other is an Enterprise Service for example an ABAP Proxy or a Web Service.
    1. Why would a customer want to do that especially for standard master data applications like Customer Master, Vendor Master, Material Master etc? I mean I don't understand the benefit of it when all these standard applications already support SMD. If a customer really wants these same functionalities via an Enterprise Service then they basically have to develop more custom applications to support this - for e.g. a Z program which will essentially replace BD21 to process the change pointers (CP) per application i.e. call the associated ABAP Proxy which will then create/do not create IDocs, process the CP by applying business logic, generate XML for PI to distribute further, email/do not email business owner, change the status of the CP depending on the outcome of the processing, exception handling etc. etc. But this whole thing, in my view, is cumbersome and sort of unnecessary as most of these things could be achieved via the SMD tool (except creating the IDoc itself of course!)
The other way, to totally get rid of the CPs and process every change via ES - one would have to enhance all applications in question to call the ES (ABAP Proxy) at the time of master data change! There is no equivalent of BD64 in ES so I don't understand the purpose to be honest.
    2. In my view, to trigger it as an Outbound Proxy or Client Proxy via Method call.
    3. SXMB_MONI
    4. Like I said in the beginning, its like comparing two different technologies - I guess in the end it comes down to the business requirement at hand. Both can be very efficient (or very inefficient if deployed incorrectly).
    Cheers,
    Sougata.

  • How to identify toll free numbers in CUCM

    Hi
I am new to this Cisco VOIP system.
My Company has many toll free numbers. I need to know where can I find the toll free number details. I had a request today to alter few settings in them. But I dont know what to do and where to do.
Eg : 800326xxxx is the number. Request is - When people call in, they have to press 1 for billing and 2 for sales and 3 for enquiry and 4 for voice mail.
How do I go for it. Where should I start.
Again As I am new, I really appreciate if someone could explain how to identify these toll free numbers in this cisco system and help me in this request with simple steps and simple english. THanks.
    Deva

Usually the toll free number resides at the service provider and they just translate that number into one of your DIDs.   You can either look through documentation or call the service provider to ask which 1800 numbers map to which DIDs.   From there it sounds like you'll need to investigate call handlers in your voicemail system correlated to that DID.

  • Re-directing Toll free numbers to Skype

    Hi,
Our company in Australia has started using skype for communication purposes and we would like to add a toll-free number to the services. I have discovered from the other posts that skype doesn't allow to add toll-free numbers.
If so, can we re-direct the toll-free numbers to the skype numbers so that we can continue tracking the call logs and take maximum benefit from using skype.
Please let me know the procedure to do the above.
    Thank you

  • Most calls I can be heard, except 800/toll free numbers

For some strange reason that no one can answer, I can call and recieve calls and be heard just fine. But when I call a toll free 800 number (like for customer service) I cannot be heard at all? At first, I thought my microphone was faulty, but I called my wife's phone to test and make sure, but she heard me fine, so I made a call to a friend, and he heard me just fine. I even had him call me back, and no problems, so I called AT&T using 611, and they could not hear me. I also noticed my dial tones stopped working (the sound you hear when you press a key for menu options during an automated call). Even stranger is I don't get that little bell sound when I plug it in to charge. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution short of upgrading to 6.0? I don't want to upgrade, as I like my set up now.

Thanks Debbelle for the feedback & suggestions!
    bwprater,
I can understand the need to block unwanted soliciting callers, companies and spammers!  I would like to explain the Call & Messaging Block capabilities, as well as the Do Not Call List Procedures.
Account Members with access to My Verizon can block up to five ten-digit phone numbers from unwanted incoming calls and messages for 90 days.  Limited to five 10-digit phone numbers only.  Verizon Wireless Financial Services Call Center or collection agency numbers cannot be entered or blocked.  International numbers may not be added.  Other numbers on the account should not be added.
It is illegal for other companies to make telemarketing calls to Verizon Wireless customers using either an automatic dialing system, or an artificial voice or prerecorded message.  It is legal, however, for other companies to make live telemarketing calls to Verizon Wireless customers.  If a you are receiving such calls, you have the option of filing a complaint regarding the matter with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) or FTC (Federal Trade Commission).  We can add you to the Do Not Solicit List at VZW, or you can call directly at: 888-382-1222 to have your wireless mobile number added.
Let me know if this answers your questions & concerns!
