Tomcat 4.1.18 does not response when run on 1 or 2 days

Tomcat is not close connection after it return a result page. I look in log file. It show some error like this. What error occer on my tomcat server.

The project I'm working on first ran on tomcats under Windows, then on tomcats on Spars/Solaris and now on jboss servers with integrated tomcats, also running on Sparc/Solaris.
Using https mainly, we usually have about 400 concurrent user sessions open at a time.
On Windows, the tomcats usually crashed within three weeks of operation.
On Unix they can run for months.
So, unless you plan to use a clustered environment, I can only recommend using unix servers. Relying on a single Windows box is suicide.
There is a memory leak in the javac compiler, so if you keep compiling jsp files, your box will crash eventually.
I must say however, that I'm still suspicious. I started a jboss node 10 days ago and there are currently 544 threads running, most of them connector threads. The java runtime has allocated 720 MB memory and uses 270 MB of it.
It seems to me, that even the new Coyote Connectors use one thread per connection. Since the tomcat crew decided to build tomcat with JDK 1.4, I'm wondering, whether they will also start to use the nio capabilities soon. By using asynchronous IO mechanisms, the number of threads used could be reduced dramatically.
Currently, I do not see that connector threads get pruned at all.
All I see is that new ones get created. Yesterday, I disconnected the above mentioned jboss node from the cluster, but didn't shuit it down. Today it still has the same number of threads running, the same memory requirements.
This is not OK, of cause.
The tomcat developers themselves recommend to run tomcat behind an apache server for production environments. Personally, I admit that this could increase the overall stability but I refuse to do this nonetheless. I want to keep the non-java portion of our system as small as possible... ;)

Under regular user account Firefox closes its windown right after opening it, but this does not occur when run from administrator account.

I don't have the problem on Vista or XP. I have no problems when I am logged on as administrator. When logged on as a regular user some or all of the Firefox windows will open and then immediately close. It does not help to run as administrator or set other compatability options. I also see this on Thunderbird. I have not seen this problem on any of my other software.

Form does not appear when run through Form Builder

We are trying to get a new installation of Form Builder 10g to work. When we try to run the form, the Forms Service browser comes up, but the form does not. We are likely missing a setting in some config file. Can anyone help us?

I have searched the forum, but maybe have not hit the correct key words yet. If you can suggest better search parameters than I have used, I will try again.
The popup blocker settings are the same as on other PCs that work correctly.
Our tnsnames is also good, as we are connecting through Form Builder.
I tried researching the error message that was requested, but the error code and message did not match up.
I would appreciate any other suggestions.

Link in Report does not work when run on Citrix

Hello,
we use Crystal Reports (v11) for creating Reports.
Data is based on our CRM system "SuperOffice".
We have several reports and what we did is to add a column that includes a link to SuperOffice.
For example - if I have a list of contacts as a report, then every line has a link to SuperOffice.
If I click this link, the contact in SuperOffice gets open.
This works on lokal pc installations.
But is doesn't work on a citrix server.
If I click the link - nothing happens.
Is that a known problem or does anyone have any ideas for that?
Are there any known problems with links in reports on citrix servers?

The main question is, to which folders etc. does CR needs access?
To explain the situation better: To run the reports we use Crystal Reports Runtime (Version 11.1.1883).
Do you (or anyone else in these forum) know where we could get information about which kinds of access CR Runtime needs to handle with these links?

Bex selection screen does not appear when running workbook via RRMX.

Hi Experts,
I have following problem: When I run a BEx workbook from a user menu (trans. RRMX), I get no selection screen, but just the workbook with text: "no data found". When I press the refresh button (variable change button), the selection screen appears and after that the data are visible in the workbook. When I run the underlying query the selection screen appears normally. With some other workbooks with selections I do not have such a problem.
Anybody can give me a hint how to get the selection screen diplayed? We are on BI 7.1, Bex SP 10, patch 1.

Answer:
Open the workbook and goto workbook setting from the analyzer design toolbar.
Check the Refresh workbook on check box.
So every time the selection screen will be appear after exectuion of the workbook.

Multitouch on track pad not working when running Windows 8 in boot camp

Does anyone know a work around on how to resolve the issue of more than one fingers on the trackpad? For example, I use one finger to click a window then another finger to slide/move the window to a different location on the screen. This does not work when running Windows 8 in Boot Camp latest version. Any suggestion is much appreciated.

Reply to all using ItemReply does not work when specifying messageid

Hello everyone,
I am trying to use the ItemReply token to perform a "Reply to All"
action on a mail item with a known message identifier and include the
original message text in the response. According to the documentation,
the call should be:
ItemReply(7;1;"message-id")
Still, when I execute this token, apparently only a normal reply action
is performed because only the original sender is listed as recipient.
(The message text is properly included)
However, when I manually select the message in the GroupWise client
first and then execute the same call without specifying the message id,
all recipients of the original mail are listed in "To:" as expected:
ItemReply(7;1)
Could it be that the "ReplyTo" parameter is ignored or does not work
when a message id is specified as parameter? (Setting "IncludeText" to 0
does not change anything)

Worth bumping this message. I find the exact same behaviour as mentioned 5 years ago. Using both GW8 and GW2012.
According documentation, when MessageId is not specified it defaults to the command ItemReplyOpenItem(). I assume that the reason "Reply To all" works without a MessageID is because of that. Someone needs to give a look to ItemReply().

I have been a happy user of Firefox for many years. Around last April first I opened Firefox and was offered an update to v 4.42.0.0 which I accepted. Installation seemingly went well. I forget now exactly what happened but the result has been that ever since April 1 I haven’t been able to open the Firefox browser when clicking on the Firefox icon. My computer now was running very slowly. I tried to uninstall Firefox, but a popup told me I couldn’t because Firefox was in use. This confused me because I couldn’t see it being used. Only now I have found that on Task Manager processes that “firefox.exe” was consuming 99 % of the CPU. After removing firefox.exe by clicking End Process my computer ran better. I uninstalled Firefox I had on my computer and installed Firefox 5.0. Unfortunately I have the same problems: Firefox does not open when clicking on the icon, the firefox.exe process consumes 99 % of the CPU and my computer runs slowly.

I was unable to start in safe mode initially. The second time I disabled all of the Add-Ons and she started up just fine. I enabled them one by one hoping to track down the culprit but the problem seems to have gone away.
BTW I am running ver. 3.6.8 (in response to cor-el's earlier post) and
Firefox is in the process of downloading 3.6.10 (which I am starting to think may have been what caused this whole problem to begin with)

VOD Sound drop at commercials and does not return when TV show resumes

i've noticed that there are other customers experiencing this problem and I have not seen any response from COmast support.When playing a TV-Show from On-Demand, the sound drops when a commerical starts and does not return when the TV Show resumes.A reenct example: Walking Dead 515.Yes, I have called comcast support to report it.Of course they wanted me to go through the standard drill - Power Off/On; Refresh Signal; etc. with no result...The problem occurs on series, e.g. - Walking Dead 515; Grey's Anatomy; It happens after the episode has been in the On Demand listing for about a week.It seems that the sponsors are no longer paying for the commercial, so the sound drops when the commercial comes on.However, the sound does not come back when the commercials end and the show comes back on.Stopping playback and starting at that point returns the sound, but, - oftentimes, the counter doesn't advance correctly in the Recently Viewed listing, so you end up starting back to the last time you stopped it. This is clearly a bug on the back-end, and I don't expect it to be fixed until enough people complain and Comcast Support replicates the problem observes it for themselves.

I have this EXACT problem on Anthony Bourdain's show Parts Unknown and the Last Ship. As soon as it hits the advertizement sound drops and continues as dropped. Pausing and restarting the program completely after exit regains sound but as soon as it hits another commercial it goes out again. The counter problem makes this option only good for a few times. Then it resets back.

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
And it could just be a defective screen. If the reboot didn't help I'd make an appointment at an Apple store for a consultation.

You need to contact the developer/manufacturer directly to determine if their product is compatible w/Yosemite. It is not listed on their system requirement website:
